This has been a dead heat race from the begining. he's not winning by much especially when we consider the Florida delegates. Furthermore there is too much money that has been invested in the campaign for her to just concede. I think that the media needs to stop louding the flavor of the month and admit that this is a close race and not finishing would be a betrayal to the primary voters.

Don't you know they want to force her out before they are force to bring the Florida and Michigan delegate into play as is. This should have been done at the time they were elected! A voter suppression rule that takes the right to vote away is bad even if it comes from the DNC!

Where did you hear that Obama refuses to salute the American Flag?? Probably from the same emails that the Republican right wingers have been floating around that he is not a Christian!!! Check your facts before you look any more stupid than whatyou have just typed!!!

184 votes (40%) of all of the votes he could cast in Senate and he did not vote. Above is the link showing every single vote, what it was for and that he declared "Not Voting" on 184 of them. Great man for the job? I have my doubts.

On Sep 9, 2004 Mr. Obama, said to the Herald & Review of Decatur, Illinois - "Obama said the United States benefits enormously from exports under the WTO and NAFTA."

So his position is the same as he alleges of Mrs. Clinton, right?

    No.

They both think NAFTA is necessary, it just needs some fine-tuning.

Mr. Obama's exploitation of the issue IS the issue. He acts like a Boy Scout on-stage, yet off stage, the same old political games that have been going on for years in Washington.

Obama is nothing new. He just hopes to fool us until he's elected.

We need to get a different system than this old, copy cat, Roman political system of having only 1 leader. History tells us that this always has been controversial. A good guy becomes a worshipped hero, a bad guys can destroy a country. We don't need any of that. We just need ???good enough??? leadership. That???s what you get when you average out the good with the bad. So, we need to have 3 or 5 presidents instead of 1. It???s a lot safer. Then on each topic they can democratically vote on it.
So I suggest to get Obama, Clinton, McCain, and maybe even Huckabee and Nader, into the president leadership of 2009. The white house is big enough to give them all their own bedroom and office.
Oh, and one powerful computer to calculate all their economical ideas with.

Hillary is washed up! She's desperately trying to make Barack look bad: accusing him of lying in ads that had been out for some time; posting a picture of him in ethnic garb (so what?). She needs to go gracefully; she's already made a fool of herself and Slick Willy. They're both phony frauds and just need to get over themselves and endorse Barack. He's going to win anyway. We've had enough of the screaming She-Beast. It's time for her to crawl away!

There have been several references in this blog regarding a candidates resume, or lack of one. As if Hillary has a credible one, and Barack has not. The run for the White House is not so unlike jobs in the everyday sector, and our president IS of course OUR employee. Simply having a stellar resume is no guarantee of success or even a good fit with the job at hand. 'Experience' has little to do with the 'heart and mindset' of the individual in question. Hillary has tried every game out there...from direct attacts to feigned 'weariness' and attempted sincerity. She will continue to fake whatever emotion the day calls for...and it is overly apparent that others can see through her phony BS as well. I am fed up with her, and if she wishes to remain gracious, she SHOULD step aside and allow a real leader to lead the way. Barack may not have all the experiences she has had, but he has remained stable, consistant, and strong. We need that now more than ever.

What I found to be disgusting was how Hillary herself wouldn't come to the African American churches in CA to speak to people, but instead sent Bill....Its like they were saying oh Black folk like Bill so let him go do a little song and dance for them...We have intelligence Mrs. Clinton you can't just have your husband entertain us and think that's enough..what were we not significant enough to you for you to come out yourself ? I used to like Hillary but I found her actions utterly digusting and insulting...It was like she didn;t feel we as African Americans were important enough for her to grace our churches and she sent Bill instead. People have this misconception of Black people in thinking, we all love Bill but that is not true at all! That was a bad move Hillary, you really alienated and insulted a lot of African Americans in CA with that one...

you know what i find disgusting? your stupid comment.

    • Posted By: lwalker12344 @ 02/25/2008 8:48:33 PM

Interesting that you bring that up...of course, you only bring up that fact because she is white, correct? If you did your homework a little bit more and not be a racist about this whole thing, you would have also commented on this little gem that Barack Hussein Obama did not even bother to show up in New Orleans as everyone knows...including you probably but because he is black and so are you, you decided to leave that one out. Here is a small copy from Newsweek in case you want to see (which I doubt because now you will be or should be embarrassed at your lack of research and intelligence.) Oh yeah...his excuse was he was too busy...how's that for a song and dance. What a fraud he is.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton addresses the crowd during the State of the Black Union 2008 conference held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center Saturday.
Even as a black man gets close to the Democratic nomination for president, race still matters, according to African-American leaders who gathered Saturday at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans for the State of the Black Union conference.

The absence of Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois, however, caused heartburn for some of the several thousand participants attending the annual event. Conventioneers, meanwhile, awaited an address by Obama's main rival for the nomination, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York, who is expected to speak around 4 p.m.

bucknut -- I know it's a pain to hear the cries of the major political parties that Nader screwed things up for them. But actually, Nader explains why in the interview what the obstacles are, even for someone as well-known as he is, to get on the ballot if you aren't in either the Democrat or Republican parties.

I know hearing what he has to say would require us to stop for a few minutes and shut out the voices of those who believe what the major two political parties want us to continue to believe -- that we cannot go against the status quo and try and do something other than what the two major political parties want us to do.

But, for those who are interested in expanding your knowledge, the interview from today is one of the best ones I've heard to explain how our political system limits our field of choices so that only those with a LOT of money and BIG MONEY INTEREST will continue to run our country. Again, the link to that interview is: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=19341666

  • Posted By: numskull @ 02/25/2008 9:11:05 PM

Jeez, what a choice: The first bull *** in chief or radio. You know radio could end this by just throwing a bucket of water, or better yet dropping a house on hillary. But the clintons are going to the mat with this because they can't help themselves. They don't care if it hairlips the pope. This is going to be great. All of the fruit, nut and flake dems that have hated the clintons from the beginning are going to start piling on because they smell blood. And the clintons have really painted their damn selfs into a corner because they hate themselves because they are white. Michelle yo mama obama hates the clintons because they are white too. So enjoy watching the clintons trying not to be too hard on radio because he is black. This is a textbook Charlie Foxtrot and worth the price of a freak show. So set back and enjoy!!!

I completely disagree. Has anyone looked where Obama has picked up his delegates? Does the term "red
states" ring a bell? Mr. Alter suggests that Clinton should drop out of the race and endorse Mr. Obama..
What states that he has won in the primaries does Mr. Alter think Obama could carry in the general election?
Strange year, Mc Lain getting his delegates from "blue states' and Obama getting his from the states Republicans traditionally carry. Shame on the respective party committees for giving us a choice of candidates that cant carry the states that gave them the delegates to win their nominations......better to leave the media out of it and return to the "smoke filled rooms"

Unfortunatly there isn't a candidate that is worth a damn. The one person who I would have been really comfortable with was Mitt Romney, but, he got thrown under the bus. Now we are stuck with the lesser of the evils. Really sad that these are the 2 best.........

The negative comments towards Mr. Obama are uncalled for. I used to support Mrs Clinton but she's just not it... not this time. Taht doesn't mean in no way shape or form that I shouldbash her or call her names. Are you people adults? Dude, if you wanna vote republican, who gives a crap. Do it! Because I am a supporter of Mr. Obama I'm a cult member? GMAFB you idiot! The people that name call on blogs are punks that were chased and beat up in school. No heart. E-Bullies. I respect Mrs. Clinton. Not sure if she should bail out now or not. I just don't agree that she should be our next President. I have two major problems with Hillary Clinton. The first is the nepotism that she gets, she was never elected by Congress to adminster health care during Bill Clinton's term. Nothing she did in her political career, did she earn on her own merit. She held no political office until Bill Clinton became notorioius for the dot com thing that happened during his term. Two, I'm tired of the socialism that I feel shoved down my throat when America is clearly a capitalistic institution. If you don't like it, go to Canada and experience their healthcare. I also don't believe my federal tax dollars needs to be wasted on nanny laws (this is exactly how I feel about the pro-life agenda - it's fair game). I would rather Michelle Obama represent feminism in America, or represent America to the international community. For what it's worth, she definately improved the silence. My only regret is that McCain and Hillary Clinton can't battle it out during a debate. I had the popcorn ready.
