Ha, this is cool, Alter...now I know what's going on. Since Skull and Bones got their guy elected (Skull and Bones is the secret society of Yale that Bush and Kerry belonged to), it's time for Yale's secret society to fight back! GOT IT!

Hillary, being female, of course, isn't part of either school's secret society but she IS a graduate of YALE -- and Obama is a graduate of the same school at Jonathan Alter -- HARVARD.

It ain't over until it's over. People who put forth these kinds of articles are doing so, because they think that they have the power and the right, to sway people to their own subjective views. They think that people are so stupid that they will believe anything they read (or hear) and can't think for themselves. Opinion is fine, but hey - let's let the people make up their minds on their own - without the help of the biased media.

Obama foreign policies promised change sells pitch is nothng new, Jimmy Carter done it. It turned ot wasa major disaster. America under Carter was totally abuse as a dumb nations and Americans beingheld hostage in Iran was the best foregn policy crisis. Not to mention tyrants all over the world fearlessly oppress their own poeple wide open without fear oconsequences because they all known Jimmy Carter adisntration are just talk and love talk. That''s what Obama intend to do: talk.

I THINK MR ALTER, Is A IDOIT!! Saying Obama is the best for the job, is like saying a cub scout leader is the best guy to lead the MARINES! HES DONE NOTHING, HES A GOOD SPEAKER THATS IT..THIS COUNTRY IS SINKING AND IM NOT SURE OBAMA CAN SWIM...I KNOW HILARY CAN, AND IF SHE GETS TIRED WELL HER HUSBAND IS THE BEST SWIMMER I HAVE EVER SEEN!

I am 27 years young and I only know one thing about politicians; they are all crooks. This has been true of every one I have seen in my life, including Hillary's counter-part. He has only recently emerged as a "great" Pres. and that is by comparisson to G-Dubbya. I long for a person in the oval office with no experience...he hasn't learned how to screw us yet. Too wet behind the ears. I see liars all day in my line of work (car business). Barack Obama at least seems genuine to my instincts. I just hope Nader's stupid ass dosen't screw this one up for all of us...

If Mr. Obama were truly genuine, why did he commit to finishing his term as the Senator from Illinois and deny that he was running for President, just to turn around 3(?) months later and announce he was running for President. A truly genuine person doesn't to that. In 2004 Hillary said she was committed to being a Senator and did so. Although in 2006, she was genuine enough to not deny she was considering a run for the presidency.

Hillary is simply useless: she can't account campaign funds entrusted by her supporters, she readily throws blame on helpless subordinates for any losses, inspite endowed with worldly resourses whilst at White House she failed as a First Lady to inspire Bill who had to turn to Monica. Poor Bill and poorer Hillary.

slammdunk: Both Clinton and Obama are worthy of the nomination; let the people decide and/or if the Dem's have to decide this in Denver, then so be it ......... they are both exemplary and are prepared to lead the free world.

Clinton is old news, old story .. same old school as her husband the world has changed and the intelligent choice is clear. Hillary bow out gracefully

I am disgusted about this article!!! I think it is pathetic and stupid to assume you know the outcome of the race before all the voters have had a chance to make their votes! Hillary is not about to back out when the going gets tough that's what I admire about her! That is why she is going to be the best president she works hard for what she believes in and she never quits. She has a lot of very loyal supporters. I will by boycotting Newsweek from now on because it is biased in its political stories!

  • Posted By: register00 @ 02/25/2008 7:51:14 PM

I will support Hillary Clinton all the way. Surely we're not looking for a president who throws their hands up when things get rough!

I would like to know what political party the author of this article belongs to. I think it should be necessary to have political talk show hosts, political newspaper and magazine writers and politcal analyst to have their part affiliation shown to the public. Just like we have food lbels, medicinelabels, cigarette labels etc. I am not saying that all political whatevers lie, but that some of them have their own political agendas and sometimes distort the truth or leave things out.

The American public has to start educating itself by reading both sides of a story. Not just taking one source as the end all truth. We tend to lead lives that have turned us inward and somewhat lazy when it comes to finding things out on our own. Not all of us but many. Do not take for granted that any one of the people running for president fall in either the good guy or bad guy category by listenting to the news. Do you own homework and when you step into the booth or however you vote know that you are doing so because you took the time to care about the person you are putting in and that they are telling the truth.

The problem is that the republicans want this split between the Democrats and their voters so they can win the election. They cant steal it like they did the last time because too many people are watching but if they can get the democrats fighting among themselves then they can sail into the White House. Each candidate running has things in their past that is questionable. And those people who are stuck in the sexual thing in Bill Clinton's campaign are prudes. Hilary Clinton did a very brave and wonderful thing, she did not throw him out of her life, she forgave him and worked to keep her marriage. How many of you out there would have the courage to face a similiar situation and not run to the nearest divorce lawyer? Bill Clinton did nothing to harm or jeopardize the secutity of this nation, he just let his chromozones get the better of him.

I would like to know how many people in power be the men or women over this entire planet have strayed away from their relationships in a weak moment. Start thinking like adults and take a care in what happens to your country. Ralph Nader should have stayed out of the race. He is a good man but it has been proven by his past record that he can not win the presidency because he can not get the votes needed. He only helps to weaken the Democratic Party. If people would realize he is a good choice and vote for him then maybe we will have change after all. I still wonder though why he took so long to throw his hat into the arena.

clinton rocks and she should win ..And become the first lady president

Hilllary doesn't need to quit. I have been waiting many years to vote for a woman for President and now I can see my last best hope going down the drain. Even if she doesn't get the nomination I will still write in her name in November. Obama wouldn't be where he is today if it weren't for the news media hyping him at every opportunity. I heard someone on Chris Matthews' show call her schizophrenic today. That's outrageous. My conservative friends have been telling me for years that the news media is too liberal and I would say you're crazy - but that was because, I realize now, the news media agreed with me about the candiates. No more. I have seen the light and I have absolutely no respect for the news media that is supposed to give us the news but instead is slanting everything toward getting Obama the nomination, if not the election in the fall. You're trying to manipulate the election as you have done in the past when we got George Bush instead of Al Gore. Shame on you.

  • Posted By: ishot91 @ 02/25/2008 7:50:54 PM

She should quit NOW! she is dividing us we cant beat the republicans with her!!!

  • Posted By: dnieder2469 @ 02/25/2008 7:50:36 PM

I must admit I am not a Clinton fan, however I do respect her drive and intellegence value. I don't really have passion for any of the runners from either party, but I do enjoy someone who takes it and moves on, and does not quite just because the numbers say so! In the 1950's even the papers made a mistake of the outcome of who was president. I think Hillary should hang in there and let the people decide. The hell with planning against the Repub's there's time. Big Mac certainly has a chance but not this round. Obama, as far as I have see and read, just looks the part. I want some one who can walk the walk, as well.

Barack HUSSIEN Obama, way to go America, jumping on the latest bandwagon. This man does not have the credentials to run our great country. Hopefully America will wake up before it's too late. There are many countries who have female leaders and they are respected players in the political world. Ms. Wifersoo is obviously very mistaken and probably is a MAN. Hillary has been in this for 35+ years and is ALREADY respected around the entire globe. She c an lead from day 1, Hussien can not and the presidency is not a learn as you go job as Mr. Bush found out. It's not too late, VOTE HILLARY!!!
