Hilary Clinton is simply a political mediocre. She can only act as commander in chief, but never can truly perform that. Compared to her ability she has already gained more than enough. For her, politics is a way of building someone???s carrier. That is why she could compromise with her husband few years ago.

Hillary was the best so far in the last debates ! Just against a FAKE MEDIA PRESS and against a political Mafia which try to handle only the puppets ! We hope all the Christians and not only, from Ohio and Texas, will go to vote with their hearts and their minds !... You vote just for this country's destiny !!... Don't accept the people to be manipulated by our enemies !! Don't allow the most media press and TV to make their own law and to be thrown all Americans to splodge through the mud...!!! IN GOD WE TRUST !!! gtx13/ Ohio

Geez Jonathan, which Obama campaign quarters are you writing from???? The campaiogn has been divisive because Obama has allowed those of you who feel you're protecting the poor little Black kid from the bad White girl to paint anyone who disagrees or tries to vet him as racist or mean or whiny when they fight back on obvious jabs and nasty comments from this guy. He's a lot of talk and it just goes to show how shallow people can be. For those of us who are old enough to know better, we've seen what talk can do -- we've seen the adoring, crazed crowds and media brought along on the wave of join us or else. And it's always ended badly.

Julia and Core democrat, I agree with both of you. I have more experience than Obama about words and how they can be misguided. I never thought I would vote democrat until Bill Clinton. I am glad I was able to prosper in a presidential administration. since then we have been sufferring and if America votes and follows the pied piper, we are going to have to wait longer. After all Patrick promised the same thing in his speech and loaned it to Obama. We are headed for the same result as Massachusettes. There is a reason Hillary won that state when the deck was stacked against her with the endorsements of Patrick, Kerry, and the Kennedy's.

I"ve been thinking pretty much the same thing, Julia. Remember the media reporting/worshiping of Bush at the beginning of the Iraq war? It took a long time for the media to get enough sense or guts to report that the king had no clothes, and look where that got us.
You and I could be wrong, but my 60 years on this planet tell me this Obama worship is gonna turn out badly. I hope we do get a liberal Age of Aquarius, but experience tells me to expect very different and unintended consequences.

Jon, I love watching you on Keith Olbermann and on other programs, but you are flat out WRONG here. The fat lady hasn't sung, and I doubt very much if you would be calling for Obama to pull out if the situation were reversed. As a Chicagoan, I know a little bit about Obama, and I am not impressed. Ever since his "talents' were recognized, his career has basically been about advancing his career to this point and beyond. Frankly, I am ashamed that women are not supporting her more vigorously than they are, and I am ashamed of an electorate that has fallen for the branidng of Obama. I know, he's Tiger Woods without the clubs, and he is a charismatic figure. But this Obama-worship and Hillary-bashing has to stop. I see no reason why this contest shouldn''t go on, so that more light can be shed on our choices.

You took the words out of my mouth. Except Hillary is my choice. Thank-you for being objective.

I would think that the next U.S. president is most likely to be a republican again as Mrs. Clinton has almost lost the campaign, and she will not be able to reverse the course. However, the American people do not seem to be ready to elect a black president, either. In that case, Mr. McCain is very likely to succeed President Bush. Furthermore, since the Democrats have already in control of the Congress, the scenario of one party dominating both legislature and administration does not seem acceptable by American public.

  • Posted By: King Edward @ 02/27/2008 7:59:55 PM

I would think that the next president will be a relublican, too, as Mrs. Clinton has not defeated Mr. Obama and she will not. However, I do not suppose that the Americans are ready to elect a black president, either. In that case, Mr. McCain will be the next U.S. president, which will break the likely cycle, when especially the Democrats already have control over the Congress. One party controls both legislature and administration is not a situation welcomed by the American people.

Dick Morris' motivation is his personal vitriolic hatred of the Clintons because they fired him as a consultant. He was a big name in politicant consulting at one time, but he became ineffective. He's a bitter, resentful has-been. And his comments are factually false. He's really kinda pathetic.

    • Posted By: prabha @ 02/27/2008 4:25:21 PM

Please do a google search on Dick Morris and look into wikipedia on him before you take his words.... He is simply vitriolic and has no credibility whatsoever.... under what circumstances he left Clintons... will tell you about his commitment/responsibility to the president Clinton... that time...
It is very common when you are in public office for so long you will have both friends and foes....it is quite

      natural
Ofcourse he knows the clintons and he might be true to some extent... clintons have their shortcomings.... but the way he interprets things makes it impossible take his words...And look where does he appear on TV... on Sean Hannity and Bill oreilly... Hope you all know how much you can rely on Sean Hannity as well... he is equally venomous of Clintons.... please do a google search on him too...
Oreilly seems to be fair these days though...
May be Clinton cannot win... that is good news to her haters... together with biased MSM everybody tried everything they can to make her look bad...
But one thing ... hope everybody knows and is a fact that Bill Clinton was a good president ... he was not perfect on every policy that occured but it worked for an average American... and they remember it...Since 1980's repubs have been strong... and out of 7 general elections dems have won 2 elections under Bill Clintons... Gore could not and Kerry could not ... though they were very close...

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is far better qualified to be the president of our country than any other candidate, including Senator Bark Obama. Mrs. Clinton???s deep grasp of issues and policies makes her far more ready to take on the presidency than Mr. Obama and besides each debate I see Mr. Obama merely copying her; without originality in thought or the depth of grasp that she has. And besides his lack of foreign policy experience makes him even less qualified to be our next president.

While I would not call for Senator Clinton to get out before her latest last line of defense (i.e. big states) is crossed by Senator Obama, I do expect her to gracefully exit if she loses either Texas or Ohio rather than move her line backward to Pennsylvania.

Jonathan, we all know that you adore Barack. But you don't have to kiss-up to him.

I am a fifty five year old white mother of three accomplished daughters. We would love to see a woman president but Hillary Clinton is not the RIGHT woman. I realize that candidates will take shots at each other's positions and this is called politics are "tit for tat", so to speak. However, when Hillary took aim by mocking Senator Obama's message of hope and inspiration, I felt a line had been crossed. Without dreams we Americans would never have declared our independence from Great Britain, full citizenship would not have been provided to blacks and all women, we wouldn't have walked on the moon, and we wouldn't have lived the very blessed lives most of us enjoy. I'm not sure how I will vote in the November election but I will not be voting for Hillary Clinton.

    • Posted By: hillaryforpresident!!! @ 02/26/2008 11:48:40 AM

And all of those accomplishments you just sited took a lot more than just a dream, they took a lot of HARD WORK and INITIATIVE! Hillary has the same "dreams" and "hopes" that Obama is preaching, she just also has the drive to actually make them happen. In addition, Hillary's criticism about Obama's hollow message is something that a lot of people are questioning and will surely be brought up by the Republican's in the General Election.

I am wondering where your brain is however, being a woman with three daughters, aren't you a little discgusted at how the media is targeting Hillary for all of the same characteristics that we praise men in similar positions for? Assertiveness, being tough on the issues, decisiveness, etc. we instead twist to: she is too cold, a b*tch, crazy. In addItion, aren't you grateful to finally have STRONG and INDEPENDENT role-models for your daughters like Hillary and Chelsey instead of the same old media trash like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton?

I am sorry, but it is women like you that make the rest of us look bad.

In contrast to your ridiculous article, if Hillary were to quit now she would lose the majority of the respect of her loyal supporters. Why should she quit now when she does still have some chance to win? If she loses Texas and Ohio and then bows out, her supporters would respect her as well as her decision and know that she fought as hard as she could until it was no longer feasible to fight. We Democrats have already had that ----- Kerry cave when he should have fought - Gore too for that matter...Woman are made of sterner stuff - NEWSFLASH for you Alter, a TRUE and NOBLE fighter doesn't stop before the bell rings.

We were discussing this around the water cooler today and pretty much we agreed that she is coming unglued. From " I am honored to be standing next to him" to two days or so later " Shame on you", she is a Dr. Jeckell/ Mrs. Hyde. WE don't want her anywhere around that red phone !!
