Billary is getting really deperate these days, she just needs to face the facts that she losing, and endorse Obama maybe she'll get to be VP.....Go Obama!!!

This article is simply ridiculous. Hillary indeed has more than a fighting chance. Why would a candidate exit a race where she is only behind by 70 - 80 delegates and leading her opponent in two important elections in Texas and Ohio? Further, accoroding to exit polls, Hillary still has a sizable lead over Obama in Ohio. In Texas, she may have a bigger lead than you think - exit polls are not always accurate, as has been proven already in this election by some upsets. Therefore, the idea that Hillary should exit the race is frankly stupid and loser talk.

Also, it is about time the media starts taking more shots at Obama instead of projecting these ridiculous articles towards Hillary. Time to stop skirting awaying from attacking Obama because you don't want to be viewed as prejudice towards Blacks. Get real!! Obama is a large balloon of hot air.

Go Hillary! You will win the Democratic nomination and you have a reasonable chance to do so, despite these idiotic articles.

Wrong, hldg@ -- Obama is NOT a Christian. Obama is an agnostic. He is only claiming to be a Christian for the purposes of being a politician. Please do the research. This is well-documented. It is only the OBAMA MARKETING MACHINE who is putting forth the false information that Obama supporters are mostly college-educated. If that was true, then Obama supporters would already KNOW that he is agnostic and stop referring to him as a Christian. He's a "Christian-because-I-have-to-say-that-to-get-elected" agnostic.

The timing of this article are utterly suspect. It's become clear to me that there are people who own large shares in the media who are using the power of the press to anoint Obama our next president. That in and of itself tells me that Obama is not who is says he is -- that he is, instead, going to do what it takes to protect the interests of the special interests who have gotten him elected. Come on, America -- here's a orator guy who has come out of nowhere who we know virtually nothing about and virtually no track record -- and we have been enticed to support him by use of entertainment-type ads (Obama-Girl) that have elevated him to a Rock Star/Obamessiah status. This is downright scary. Never in all my years have I seen a press so unapologetically biased to the point of actually CAUSING the election of such a high level official in our government. The only other thing that is scarier is that Americans have actually fallen for it.

Of course they've fallen for it. They have fallen for it for the past 8 years now. It is all about image and not about substance in this poorly educated, American idol watching, third world country of ours.

I am disgusted about this article!!! I think it is pathetic and stupid to assume you know the outcome of the race before all the voters have had a chance to make their votes! Hillary is not about to back out when the going gets tough that's what I admire about her! That is why she is going to be the best president she works hard for what she believes in and she never quits. She has a lot of very loyal supporters. I will by boycotting Newsweek from now on because it is biased in its political stories!

Hillary is simply useless: she can't account campaign funds entrusted by her supporters, she readily throws blame on helpless subordinates for any losses, inspite endowed with worldly resourses whilst at White House she failed as a First Lady to inspire Bill who had to turn to Monica. Poor Bill and poorer Hillary.

Regardless of whether you support Clinton or Obama the latter is gaining an insurmountable lead. Hilary would need to win the Ohio and Texas primaries by huge margins to have any chance of nomination. While the polls show her as competitive in both of these states, she simply cannot win by the margins required for her to gain the Democratic nomination in August.

The Democratic Party is being pulled apart because it is forced to choose between two outstanding candidates. Do not let the rift between Obama supporters and Clinton supporters so weaken the party that we are forced to deal with another republican president for four more years.

Hillary is embarrasing. She just cant comprehend how the presidency is not her entitlement. She has lost 11 elections in a row in diverse areas across the U.S. --And her chances of winning at this point are not even realistic. Yet she proceeds with attempts to present Barack Obama in the most negative lights possible. And we, the people, are supposed to not be turned off to this apparantly.

She is losing on her own merits, though she cannot accept that as the true reason for her losses--and she continues to point the finger at other people: her campaign managers, imagined dirty tricks from Barack Obama, and mean old Ted Kennedy who she thinks betrayed her no doubt.

Hillary loses debate after debate to Barack Obama and yet has recently quaetioned why he wont debate her more. The only conceivable reason she would want to debate him more (after 19 debates to date) is that she needs air time in light of her failing campaign. She looks terribly uncomfortable and artificial during the debates. Even the seemingly genuine moments that have been pointed out by some have since been starkly contradicted by Hillary herself. She has painted herself as a "say anything, do anything to win candidate". -Which is why some are now referring to her behavior as Schizophrenic (though that is metaphorically inaccurate. The comparable disorder is really Dissociative Identity Disorder or Multiple Peronality Disorder).

The people need to wake up Hillary Clinton and vote Obama on Super Tuesday II, particularly in Texas and Ohio. The longer she stays in. the more harm she may do to Obama through her dirty tactics and simply through keeping the Democratic Party split.

    Go Obama!

why do most of you in the media have this "thing" for Obama? Or should I say why do you have this "thing" against Clinton? I listen to all your news shows and it just always seems like you want to talk about Obama's momentum....I don't get it...she has so much more experience than he has so I don't know why you reporters don't press him more on that issue...is it just the "liking the underdog" theory? I asked my best friend (who is hispanic) why she liked Obama...what was it about him that she thinks has prepared him to be a better President than Hillary....do you know what she said?.....She doesn't like Hillary's "smug" look....So in my mind I think its the same for you in the news..I think there is something about her you just don't like and because you're trying to be "impartial" you turn around and don't give her fair coverage ....Dan Abrams on MSNBC is the only one who is trying to be open minded about
this....Now I think you're right, his momentum is probably so strong that it will be difficult for her to turn it around so all I can say is that I hope Obama does a good job once he's President....this country needs to get back to where we were before Bush...but if he doesn't, I blame the mostly you in the media for your negative reporting against Hillary's chances...this is the most important election in my adult life

With all of Obama's verbal success in the campaign, I'm still hoping for Clinton as the Democratic nominee, since I see her as the most qualified, by far! Four or eight years from now, I'd certainly give Obama serious consideration. If Obama wins the nomination, I'm voting for McCain, for sure

If running a campaign is a glimpse into the way a candidate would run the White House then thank God Hillary is done. Her campaign has been a disaster and the last three days the complete lowpoint. Thursday she seems concilliatory by Saturday a completely phony, contrived angry rant aimed at making her the topic of conversation on the Sunday morning talk shows. Her whole campaign has suffered from lack of message. Today we find out she blew her money and spent it on things like $100,000 on deli platters for a third place finish in Iowa and $100,000 at the Bellagio. What happens when she is in charge our money? Today she was outwardly ridiculing Barack, doing a faux preacher imitation. Nice to see she thinks everyone else in the world is a moron, maybe Hillary the rest of the world has it figured out and you should wake up. The world is tired of your slash and burn divisive politics. Please Texas vote hard for Obama send the Clinton machine out of presidential politics for good.

There are some very good arguments being thrown out there, but I still have to go with the experience...Who's Obama anyway???What hole did he crawl out of? Go Hillary!!! Never give up.Ride it until the wheels fall off baby!!!

For all those vowing to turn Republican if Obama wins the Democratic Primary, I hope you are ready for the Draft-that is the only way we can continue a 100 year war. Are you willing to put your life on the line like thousands of brave American soldiers have for us? Are you willing to put your soon to be 18 year old children's lives on the line? War is not the answer in Iraq.

I would suggest that some of you look into Sen. Obama's ACTUAL religious background.

thats funny you are all reporting that . hiilary isnt doing well and all my friends are ready to vote for her here in texas. and i am hearing nothing but, great things. non bias, not behind closed doors all for her to win. i dont think you are all talking to the right people. let alone polling the right folks. the media needs to really get out more and talk to everyone not who they think is ahead. what a joke. im sorry mitt quit. too. now it will be a no brainer. our first women president for the people, by the people better times ahead.

I for one would like to see her stay in it. Why should she give up because the media has given Obama a free pass. I will not vote for Obama if he is the nominee..I will either vote for Nader or nobody at all. I think the democratic party will be split for awhile over this years campaigns. I felt the Obama supporters negative and often mean spirited attacks on Hillary turned me off to him.

Isn't it funny that the three preceeding comments are all Clinton supporters when this article was written for how she should bow out? As Jonathan Alter says above" it would be best for Hillary's political career to get out now" but she won't. Alter continues "The choice before her is to go down ugly with a serious risk of humiliation at the polls, or to go down classy, with a real chance of redemption" . Humilitaion here we come....

Shame on you, how dare you tell Hillary Clinton to get out of the race. Not all votes have been counted and I sure hope she stays in it until one candidate has won the correct number of delegates to win the nomination. At the rate the press has been continuously attacking Senator Clinton, there is no chance that the press would ever report on any mistake Obama makes. The press could be slapped in the face with a mistake made by him and they would twist it around and make it Senator Clinton's problem. She is a fighter and I admire how she handles herself by overcoming every obstacle that has been thrown her way. Obama has had a free ride and I hope March 4th will stop that ride. Senator Clinton is the person we need in the White House. And the press needs to stop it???s biased reporting. You seem to forget, Hillary Clinton is a woman, and women do not give up just because they are told to do so. That???s when we fight even harder, especially when we believing in something as strongly as Senator Clinton believes in this fight for the White House.

The media has been biased throughout the entire campaign to the point it's sickening. The latest polls have Hillary ahead in both Texas and Ohio. If she wins, (Which is very probable), she is very much in contention. So, any talk of "throwing in the towel" at this point makes absolutely no sense. I am surprised that Obama has made it this far. But on the other hand, our country elected Bush for a second term, so I do not have much confidence in our voters. Here is the deal. If Obama gets the Democratic nomination, McCain will wipe him out in the national election. You will see a swing in the media for support for McCain. I have spoken to several Democrats that share my views, if Obama gets the nomination, we will vote for McCain. I suspect this would be the case for many Democrats across the nation. Republicans want to see Obama win the nomination. They know they can defeat him. Hillary on the other hand, will be a much more viable opponent. I wish that Democrats would open their eyes, shut out the media, and get their heads together and support Hillary.

This is a completely un-educated posting, so shut up and get outta here. As A Republican voter, I'd rather see Clinton win the nomination. As the mighty Rush said, "There is only one person who will be able to effectively rally the Republican voter base. HIllary Rodham Clinton>" However, I'm also beginning to realize that Obama does not represent any true threat in a national election. McCain, with all of his issues, will be our next President; you can go to the bank with that one..!
