Hillary should not quit. Do you want a president who used the Koran when he was sworn in as a senator?
Will he do this if he wins the presidency???? God help us all.

I want to see the clintons back in office, at least with them we weren't at war. bill clinton did a good job and who was right behind him but hillary. so what if he had an affair, most men do. just because he is was our president he got into trouble. i don't want the other guy, i fear his name. i want an american to run our country not someone from outside. i fear he may have alternative motives. as someone said he won't salute our flag. hello.

    • Posted By: crisofflintt @ 02/25/2008 6:15:25 PM

Judidibug please listen closely. Only ignorant, racist, bigoted people would make a comment like "I fear his name". So quite frankly America doesn't want your vote. You are of the past. Slavery and Jim Crow are done and it aint coming back. Get over it. Obama is clearly the better choice. Americans of all races support Obama, including a majority of white Americans who've voted so far. He does salute the flag during the PLEDGE. That famous picture with Clinton, Edwards and Richardson was during the NATIONAL ANTHEM, distorted. Not every one puts their hand on their heart when at a baseball game during the anthem, watch it on tape. However, everyone in America puts their hand on their heart during the pledge of allegiance. INCLUDING OBAMA! - "Every since I've been in grade school." Furthermore to call him "someone from outside" running the country is false. He is all American. Born and raised. He is a product of our fine diverse nation of immigrants and PATRIOTS, including his grandfather. You are "my friend", who wants to vote for McCain because of your racist views, NOW ON THE OUTSIDE. Most true blue Americans aren't like you.

By the way Mr. Obama was raised for a time in Indonesia, which to the best of my knowledge is not part of the United States, so you can't truly say he is american born and raised.

You are so full of it (and yourself, I might add)! Why don't we skip the general election and make Obama president by proclamation? That way we can avoid a divisive general election. Two wrongs don't make a right. You journalists cannot "make amends" for your slanted and biased coverage favoring Obama by being extra vicious towards Clinton. You wouldn't DARE criticize Obama like you do Clinton.

    • Posted By: Obama supreme @ 02/25/2008 6:40:03 PM

Are you kidding? Many columns have been published about Obama's so-called "empty suit" -- which is not true. These claims are made without any rush to point out he has real positions, smart positions. He spoke in Houston for 45-minute, talking about these positions and proposed solutions -- but still people drone on about his not really saying anything. That is absolutely not true! It's scary that people cannot see the bias toward Clinton.

Hillary never let Bill wear the pants in the White House. What makes this any different. She's gonna ride this donkey till there's no fur left on its back. It doesn't really matter too much though what she does. Obama isn't going to get elected anyway. Last I checked there are about 500 million muslims angry with U.S. policy. Do we really want one (I know, I know he SAYS he's not muslim anymore) in the white house???

ok hi everyone do you listen to yourselves there are still alot more states to go for Hillary and you don't understand if maybee you did your reasearch you sould undertand that Hillay is really not that far away in the lead. Just because you people like no LOVE Obama doesn't mean you can mock any other canidate. That just shows that you are cowards. First of all Hillary ha 100x more experiance than Obama, why, i don't know maybe because she was th FIRST LADY!!!!!!! GO HILLARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK!!!!

Obama has 11 straight wins. Reality check.

      • Posted By: shasta2001 @ 02/25/2008 6:39:48 PM

With Independents and Republicans voting?? Caucuses that do not include the bulk of the population, workers and the elderly? Large states??(that list is very short)

Hillary's latest is to circulate a photo of Obama in Kenya, accepting a gift, while wearing Samalia elder garb.

She is so predictable and unimpressive. She knows unsophisticated voters might view this as an example of how Obama is not an American at heart (or is Muslim).

The Clintons will never recover the damage to their reputations once this nomination is over. Apparently they care more about their persuit of personal glory and power than anything else in their lives.

Obama supporters in Texas and Ohio (in particular) need to everything they possibly can to get out and vote on Tuesday. America needs a new start with Obama as presient.

Are you signing with your Ph.D. for leverage. I've got one as well, so it strikes me as a bit arrogant that you feel you need to do this. But you are supporting Obama so arrogance comes with the territory.

    Good Article- Hillary is finished.

This is about so much more than Senator Obama being the better candidate, it's about Senator Clinton's deficencies and her apparent inablity to lead- For crying out loud, she can't even run a responsible campaign.
I believe that getting out now would be the best thing for the democratic process, the country and
for her own state of mind- She truly appears to be losing it.

NO she should not bow out now just because some people and online and local radio news services believe she should. She should go all the way and knowing what a classy woman she is she will have the intelligence and dedication to make it to the finish line, wherever and whenever that may be. So she may not get the nomination or win if she does, at least she can say at the end of the day she stayed the course. SeSenator Clinti

SEnator Clionton should be given more respect as should her opponets

Hillary should not quit. Anybody that quits should never be slected in the first place. That being said, My vote is still w/ Obama. He is the only candidate (both partys) that is capable of putting differences aside for the sake of the people. The message is clear. People are tired of the same ole hat in DC. The Bush/ Clinton Monarchies are over. This coming from a former Bush Supporter.

I've spent the last half hour reading the comments below and am shocked at the lack if the ill informed and the constant bickering for who could beat up who. Listen closely, both candidates are qualified in ways that people are not explain. Obama made an great point awhile back that in serving in the state assembly he knows best how the federal government effects states. While I would agree that Hillary has seen so much of how to conduct government from her husband that she has good qualifications. People below and after can bash these two as much as they wish but the article was well written and has some merit. I suggest that all people do your research and vote for the person you feel would best represent you over the next four to eight years. I implore you to stop attacking. You can find everything on both candidates online to make an informed choice. As far as those who would say they will vote for one but not the other is to invite another disaster that we have experienced the last 8 yrs. I have a daughter in Iraq and am very proud of her for I believe that she is upholding the same oath that I took with honor. I do oppose this war for other reasons and believe that one of the two dems will bring her home were as Mccain will keep her there indefinitly. Chose wisely people for our childrens lives, my childs life is in your hands.

I feel that Hillary has always wanted the White House more than Bill did...they knew for her to get there, he would have to lay the groundwork. She is a political whore who has one vision...the White House.

    Shame on you.
I don't think quitting is graceful in the least and I will hang my banner and wear my Clinton shirt until my fellow voters in Texas and Ohio tell me otherwise. On March 4th I will cast my vote for Senator Clinton and be counted.

The main problem with Hillary right now is that she is going so inexplicably negative that women like me [who used to support her] are getting put off by her inane tactics. She tried to be gracious during last weeks debate, she tried, then she had to put her two cents in about the plagiarism charge [obtuse] and the entire crowd booed her.

Hillary spoke out of the corner of her mouth when she said, "I am honored to be sitting next to Mr. Barack Obama" not 12 hours later she was slinging mud in his face. What does that tell us women who are voting on Tuesday? It tells me that the person I want running for president should be able to do it with a clean slate, and not by using rovian tactics to win this election. Time and again Clinton has shot herself in the foot by going negative, so what does she do now? Goes Negative! What is she thinking?

I feel terrible for Hillary Clinton, as a woman who supported her through thick and think I wish she had had the dignity to play fair. He constant negativity has made me take a long hard look at the other candidate - and the more I learn about Barack Obama the more I truly see a man who can lead this country out of the hole we dug for ourselves in the world.

For the first time in my 47 years on this earth I donated my hard earned money to a political campaign. I gave a matching gift to Obama. I haver never done that before in my life.

I agree whole heartedly that Clinton should step down and give our party, the democratic party, a chance to win this year by backing Obama. Is he young? Yes. Does he have executive experience? No? Does Hillary? No. The Obama hype is something fabricated by the media, I am not a woman to get hyped, I am a woman who sees a clear, unmistakable choice in this campaign - either McCain, or Obama. And I sure as hell do not want to vote another republican into office again. My support is fully behind Barack Obama. I'll be volunteering for his campaign and will be casting my vote for him in Cincinnati on Tuesday. I hope and pray more women will do the same!

    • Posted By: beaker87 @ 02/25/2008 6:36:01 PM

When has Hillary gone negative? I would just like an example of what you think she has done that has been so negative?

    • Posted By: dallasiteforhillary @ 02/25/2008 5:45:54 PM

I personally vote for the candidate and not the party. I have dedicated all my extra time and money to getting Hillary to the White House. I want a smart, thoughtful, tough, fighter as my President not some mealy mouthed push-over. I love her new stance. All these hormonal comments by the way are SEXIST!

    This story sucks......

  • Posted By: icfrighelis @ 02/25/2008 6:35:18 PM

Really? So winning states like Idaho and Hawai establish Obama as a winner? . The only things that have been established so far are:

1- Obama has overwhelming African Americal support
2- The media ahs been extremely one-sided in their coverage both directly as well as subliminally.
3- With the exception of Wisconsin Hillary has actually done better in most sritical states for the Democrats
