Obama gets the same coverage as Hillary. if she didn't always go negative or if Bill didn't always put his foot in his mouth, you would not hear negative stuff about her. Obama responds to her negativity, not the other way around. In case you whiners like your choice Hilalry out there have not noticed...the last week or so, Obama has been in the news for negative stuff the last three weeks than Clinton has. She is losing not because of media, but because she can't find her voice and changes slogans and chants every week. Then she claims plagerism and she does the same thing her speech. Then, she claims success and credit for all Bill's success, but ignores and denies responsibilities for the failures.
Obama nor the media is to blame for Hillary's fall...SHE IS! She was over confident and thought she had everything won and forgot to show up and work for it. As a result, Obama has out campaign, fundraised, and organizaed her. he has been masterful in running this campaign and organizaing resources, keeping money in the bank, making people feel hopeful and engaged in the process..all the things you criticize him for is what will make him a good president. remember Hillary in all her expereince ran out of money and have not been very organized for someone running for the top office. I will support whoever wins, but hillary needs only to look in the mirror to see who is to blame and it ain't the media!

Why do you consider Hillary as being negative, when she calls out Mr. Obama on a false flyer. Yet Obama has done nothing wrong with his incorrect add about Hillary. Oh that's right I forgot Mr. Obama gets a pass in the press. Since he is the candidate of change he can do no wrong. My bad. George Bush was also the candidate for change and had no experience, look where that go the US. I vote for experience and that is Hillary with 6 years as a US senator compared to Mr. Obama's 2.

That's not at all true. Hillary has attacked Obama constantly with the press not seeming to care -- even repeating her remarks even though Obama has satisfactorily answered them. He does one thing to her and suddenly she's so upset and is shaming him! He did not shame her for all her outrageous attacks and insults. The press is protecting Hillary, not Obama!

If Hillary couldn't keep her eye on Bill so that he didn't get distracted by other women then how can she kee her eye out for the entire USA? i don't think that she was truthful in the Whitewater ordeal either!

I live in Texas which votes March 4. Never in my life has my vote mattered in choosing the party canidate. Now with the Democratic nomination finally competitive enough to reach this late date with two viable canidacies still in play, all I see in the news are calls for an end to the contest. I should have a say in the process just as much as any Iowan yet I do not. If a long nomination process is bad for the canidates then a solution that does not disenfranchise a large portion of the electorate should be devised.

why should she quit. she's only lost the last 10 states. let's take a poll. vote for 15 20 or 25 states in a row of losing. at what point, have you had your clock cleaned, been lambasted. or been beat like a drum?

  • Posted By: pintamaria @ 02/25/2008 6:11:33 PM

I am so sick and tired of Hillary-haters saying she should drop out before she gets a stab at Texas and Ohio. I'm sure it's mostly Obama supporters who simply don't want her to have the opportunity to slow or stop his momentum.

It's not as though Hillary is far behind Obama like Huckabee is behind McCain. She still has a good shot at Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania. She hasn't dropped out because she wants the presidency as badly as Obama does. She's tied with him in the national polls right now. Obviously, HALF of all democrats are still backing her!!! Why should she drop out???

I don't want Obama as president and want for Hillary to stay in and get those votes from the big states. If he wins the nomination, I'll be extremely disapointed and might even vote for another party.

Don't forget many of Obama's backers are Independents and Republicans. We need to see the real Democrat vote. It is our nomination, isn't it???

  • Posted By: scuba2297 @ 02/25/2008 6:23:51 PM

I'm so sick of these people going after Hillary~I completely agree with you on how she is criticized for crying and seen as "too" aggressive. What the *ell?? If she was a man she wouldn't have any of these problems and Obama wouldn't even be on the radar. She's proven that she is up for the job. I hope that she doesn't drop out before the Ohio primaries because she is who I am voting for and we will show her that we are backing her. People have got to stop being such sheep and NOT vote for Obama, just because he's the "popular" kid of the moment.

    • Posted By: end08 @ 02/25/2008 6:32:00 PM

The only thing Hillary has proven is that she can underestimate the power of other people (what of winning 5 February?) and that she likes to bring others down.

It is now time for Hillary to bow out gracefully- She began her campaign with every conceivable advantage: name recognition, political connections, double digit leads in the polls, on and on. Yet, even with all that she has somehow managed to find herself trailing an upstart young senator whose unifying message has resonated with millions of Americans.
Some of her supporters seem unwilling to accept that the delegate math just doesn't work out for her; she must overwhelmingly beat Mr. Obama from here on out. However, she now trails in every national poll.

Sorry, but there will be no repeat of New Hampshire...

I understand the passion and frustration of Hillary's supporters. But your criticisms of Obama miss the whole point of his support. A whole bunch of us (Dems, Undeclareds and Reps) are tired of a divided America. We don't like the ping-pong swings of power that lock our system into gridlock. We have serious issues facing this country (Environment, Healthcare, economy) and we can't get anything done with 50% of the country angry and disengaged.

A Hillary Clinton presidency guarantees that almost half of the population will turn their backs on the process and stonewall us into gridlock for 4-8 more years, No matter how "good" you think her policy platforms are...They won't stand a chance in a divided America.

Obama's message calls on us all to recognize our differences, work together for common ground and get something done for America... and you know what... that makes sense to me.

    • Posted By: beaker87 @ 02/25/2008 6:31:03 PM

Why does Mr. Obama think he can change a system that has been in place for years. Do you think the republicans are just going to roll over and give up because Obama may get to the Whitehouse. You said it yourself there is a 50-50 split and there always will be, it's call a two party system. The Old Democratic establishment is jumping for joy that Obama is winning, because they know if he wants to get anything done, he has to give something in return and they are just waiting for the puppet to step up so they can pull the strings. The good old boys network is still in place and Mr. Obama is still new to the club.

Side by side, Clinton's "experience" is weaker and her decisions consistently poorer than Obama's. With the running of her campaign as an example, she does not plan, she makes no alternative plans, she surrounds herself with bad advisors, she is incapable of finding what she stands for, and when all else fails...she hurls unfounded attacks. She has now put herself in a corner where she must win by at least 25% in ALL remaining primaries. With her long history of not being able to work well across party lines, she has left no doubt.....she is NOT presidential material.

  • Posted By: tglover81 @ 02/25/2008 6:29:33 PM

We keep talking about experience this....experience that. The root of that is "ex" know lets see what else comes from that....ex-husband, ex-pired, etc. etc. America needs a change a great philospher once said "If you always do what you always done...you will always get what you've already got." The same thing, she has told us nothing about change she just said look at my track record, the only think that is prevelant in my mind is an ex-president candidate. She did attempt this before and deep down she probably knows its time to quit but can't allow her supporters to see that. I think she is a great politician and is the next best thing, but she continues to harp on what Obama cannot do, and he is getting drunk off of that because she just leaves him to answer everyones question. We need change, and here is how, he's providing solutions and not giving into her comments or concerns about his faults. But thats just my opinion. Granted they will both be great for the job, I don't think anyone is going to give in to her resume, they want to see your game plan.

A vote for Obama is a vote for Al Qaeda. Why do democraps, and the "Blame America First" crowd consistantly embrace defeat of America's troops...how pathetic. TRAITORS!

    • Posted By: toddjones74 @ 02/25/2008 6:29:22 PM

FooledallUSheep: Your name is appropriate because you seem to be a sheep using terms like "Blame America First" crowd- did you get that from FOX news? My dad served this country for 2o years in the military and my brothers now serve. One in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. They all support Obama- which by your logic is calling them traitors to their country which they now SERVE while you are sitting at home blogging.
Why is it people like you assume that anyone against the war or is a democrat for that matter hates our troops? Do you actually believe that the people against the war want our soldiers to come to harm?
Ask yourself how many people were upset when we went into Afghanistan after the terrorists- not many right? That was because just about every American believed in doing that. Why do you think it is so different with Iraq? Because a good number of people thought we should never have gone in there and the evidence we were given was false and the intelligence supports that.
I am insulted that you have the audacity to question others patriotism just because people don't agree with you on the merit of the war which is what you are basically saying.
Furthermore, Obama and Clinton both want to continue to hunt for the terrorists in Afghanistan and wherever else they may be. Do me a favor and all the other American citizens who have family we love fighting over seas, don't assume we don't care about them because we don't support the Iraq war and we won't assume you don't care by wanting them to stay somewhere they could be killed and we don't believe we should be there in the first place. God bless the military.

The Clintons will never do anything for the good of the party. Their own self interest has long dominated everything they do.

  • Posted By: undertheSun @ 02/25/2008 6:28:43 PM

I am Canadian. I like Hillary a lot, the whole situation in the States showes it is not good for the First Lady at all, it would be better she quit it now, may be she should even have done it at the time when Ramney quit. Anyway if Americans sre going to choose Obama, they will get they have chosen. I still like Hillary.

  • Posted By: JJHH @ 02/25/2008 6:16:57 PM

The only people including Hillary's time as First Lady as "experience" are Obama fans. She has 4 years Senatorial experience on him, and has been over twice as active in participation. HILLARY is running for president NOT BILL!! The only tide reversal she needs is for idiots like Alter to quit passing judgement in the media before the people have spoken.
Obama, Senator since 2005, missed 17% of votes
Clinton, Senator since 2001, missed 7% of votes

I can't stand Hillary Clinton, and I disagree strongly with many of her positions. That being said, I firmly believe she has more experience and is more qualified than Obama. The voting record is news to me, I guess you learn something every day. Senators have a staff that does most of the actual legwork for them, all they have to do is show up to vote. If Obama can't be bothered to do that on regular basis, what does that say about his dedication?

  • Posted By: Aiday @ 02/25/2008 6:28:15 PM

Absolutely Not!...she should not quit, she is the best candidate for this race, not a lot of money to buy publicity like obama, just a great seasoned candidate for this job, that requieres an experienced and good hearted candidate to really get us out of the troublesome situation we are in. HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT

war in irak, the economy, inmigration issues...issues with venezuela, iran, cuba, afghanistan, the oil prices,More than 47 million Americans are uninsured. 80 percent come from working families. 20 percent are children.GLOBAL terrorism.. Can Barack Obama handle all that....? just thinking ....keep that in mind..

  • Posted By: ratso444 @ 02/25/2008 6:22:52 PM

A better plan would be for Obama to drop out and let a proven leader run against the Right Wing.
You go Hillary! And don't let the media editorialize the voting process away from the people the way they seem determined to!

    • Posted By: end08 @ 02/25/2008 6:28:06 PM

Most previous presidents who ran for office were 'proven leaders.' Look where the US is now....

  • Posted By: sfhigh @ 02/25/2008 6:28:00 PM

Ditto and I second ZeChooCho's comments. The Democratic party and its supporter had better get on with the program of uniting the party NOW! But, only if they're serious about occupying the White House in 09'

    RE: Xception034
Comment: I totally agree with you on the subject of race/gender, and Obama not turning this into a "First Black President" campaign. I commend him for that, and that's why I make the case of his background, because he IS NOT exclusively black and he IS NOT exclusively white. But because Hillary is a woman, the media is really dividing the Democratic Party between race and gender. That's why I say, a house divided against itself can not stand. If they can't agree, then they need to at least agreee to disagree, which is a little cliche'ish. But they will have to in order to ensure that a Democratic is running the country for at least the next for years. All the people who say that they will not support one candidate over the other, and will vote for McCain is a disgrace. You are very individualistic, and are not looking at the whole picture. If McCain is elected into office, due to people with that mindset self interest, the suffering of the American people should be on your head. The blood of the soldiers who McCain plans to keep in war for another 100 years, will be on your hands, and the tears of the family and children that will lose their loved ones will down on you.
