POLLS DO NOT MATTER. STOP WATCHING THE NEWS AND JUST LISTEN TO THE CANDIDATES!!!!!!!!! THE NEWS HASN'T BEEN ETHICAL FOR TWENTY YEARS!

It is amusing to see how the media starts all of the confusion that is exhibited in this race. May the best candidate win the party nod. There has been no real fighting until the candidates were backed into positions that caused the fright or flight response. They both have good platforms, but the best person must win. Let's remember that we have a much larger obstacle to defeat. Another 4 years of Republican rule would be even more detrimental to the country. Open your eyes and stop the circus.

No she should not drop out, this race is way to close.

You are obviously not paying attention. Clinton is only 69 votes behind Obama, and she is leading in Superdelegates which are the most important b/c they don't rely on voters to make their decision. Clinton CAN still win!!!

It has been apparent from the beginning that Newsweek has been pro Obama. Every article that I've seen dating back to October 2006 has been very critical of "Hillary", "Bill Clinton", "The Clintons" or how ever else you have referred to them. John Edwards, who deserved to be a serious contender in this race was all but ignored by your publication. I thought that "Newsweek" would imply that you actually report the news fairly and accurately. Here's an idea, why can't American's make up their mind based on what they actually see and hear from the canidates, instead of continuing to allow the "news" publications and media to influence our decisions. Take a look at their voting records. It's easy to bash your opponent over the head with their record when you simply choice not take a stand. Obama voted "present" over 100 times in the IL senate. That might be acceptable them, but it's not to me. In the U.S. Senate he has one of the worst voting records. He's simply not been there to vote. I appreciate that he's running for office, but how about the job that the people of Illinois elected him to do? I've never been more proud to be a "poor, uneducated, middleaged, white woman". Or like the media prefers to refer to me "Hillary's base"

Hillary needs to stay in the race until the end to give voters a choice. Not everyone is on the hyped up Obama frenzy train. The difference in delegates between Clinton & Obama is no where near as large as the McCain/ Huckabee gap & you don't see him giving up. It's pretty scary to think that so many voters are simply voting for Obama because he is the "popular" one & without actually knowing some background on our potential president. I think that if he does win the nomination & wins, a lot of people will be sorry for not doing further research & just voting based on a band-wagon. Once again, its only fair that voters have a choice. I don't want the presidential nominees on November's ballot to be on there only because every one else dropped out.

Can I get an "AMEN" GO Hillary!

"Clinton has only one shot???for Obama to trip up so badly that he disqualifies himself. " JAlter

PLEASE- Obama and his wife have tripped up several times and the media and poltical gurus have ignored it!! He was in the Chicago senate 3 yrs ago, and that qualifies him????? Yet when Clinton shows compassion she is criticized for crying, and when she shows strength she is too agressive and a ***. Welcome to America, where and intellegent articulate woman is unacceptable and the media positions the candidate you should vote for. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!

    • Posted By: HolyRoller @ 02/25/2008 6:18:05 PM

America is finally waking up. The question is did Hillary wait too long? The Clinton machine is starting to get back to basics and hitting him in his vulnerable areas. This is why the GOP is so strongly hoping for an Obama nomination. Me, though only one real request.

      NOBAMA!!!

The only people including Hillary's time as First Lady as "experience" are Obama fans. She has 4 years Senatorial experience on him, and has been over twice as active in participation. HILLARY is running for president NOT BILL!! The only tide reversal she needs is for idiots like Alter to quit passing judgement in the media before the people have spoken.
Obama, Senator since 2005, missed 17% of votes
Clinton, Senator since 2001, missed 7% of votes

I am in total agreement with you, jah1347. Clinton doesn't stand a chance against McCain. Are you people delusional? When's the last time you checked the polls on either democratic candidate vs. McCain? Obama has thus far remained slightly ahead of McCain....Clinton is behind.

  • Posted By: rbecerra @ 02/25/2008 6:12:51 PM

I completely agree with you. I think that republicans are even voting in primaries for Obama because He is the weakest candidate, and no doubt McCain will beat him. There was a State that voters doubled the amount of votes for Obama Only without counting Hillary and Edwards of previous primaries for all candidates. That shows only one thing Republicans are voting for Obama!!!

    • Posted By: realitycheck04 @ 02/25/2008 6:16:55 PM

ABSOLUTELY the R's are voting for Obama ... they want the weaker candidate. Forget what your hearing in the media about the polls that Obama is the better candidate, its skewed by the R's.

The title of this article should read, "Obama Groupies Should Wake Up NOW!"

The no experience CEO comparison is junk. Here's why. Obama is more like a stock clerk who works his way up from the bottom to put himself in contention for the CEO position. He may not have experience as a CEO but he knows the company inside and out. Clinton is more like the CEO who for some reason or another is now available for hire. She may be smart, she may have good intentions and her resume is most decidedly superior. How can you expect the common worker to identify with her and respect her on the same level as the guy who used to perform their job? You can't. Who do you think the people who actually work for the company are going to respect. They guy who's been there, and understands what it's like to be the little guy, or the outsider with a long resume?

    • Posted By: dallasiteforhillary @ 02/25/2008 6:16:40 PM

Are you crazy. She has been working as the stock girl many more years than Obama and then earned her seat in the Senate. Imagine if Hillary was 47 and a new senator from Illinois. She would have been ridiculed for even trying. Incidently - I have not found any evidence that OB accomplished anything when working with the troubled in Chicago.

Obama's 'powers of persuasion' remind me of a 70's movie character....Ummm...Lord Darth, anyone...? It appears America is 'blindly' following this 'character'...Ummm...Jim Jones...?

This is really sad. I guess Obama and his campaign is REALLY RUNNING SCARED NOW after Obama was endorsed by Farrakhan.

Farrakhan's Words: "This young man is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better," he said. "This young man is capturing audiences of black and brown and red and yellow. If you look at Barack Obama's audiences and look at the effect of his words, those people are being transformed."

The ONLY WAY Obama will win Texas and Ohio would be for Hillary to Quit. Get over it, Hillary is in the campaign to win not to quit because Obama's is running Scared.

Hillary's camp just proved my long stated point. The Sen. is not what he appears to be. Play Clinton hardball. So what if she gets called names. Can't call her a mohammed though. Make him answer to his voting record of present. Not a very passionate lawmaker with that record, ALL RHETORIC and flash. Make witty comment about his Elvis like attraction to simple-minded girls. Ask him why he seems offended by pictures of his mohammed warlord indoctination ceremony. Make sure that the comments made about military supplies brought forward. But the sure fire kill is an eloquent discussion of meeting with terrorist heads of state appears to be almost radical Islamic acceptence.

Better go for the kill, cause the GOP machine is foaming at the mouth for their chance.

    NOBAMA!!!

My son is on his third Iraq tour, and although I didn't approve of this war, there are many sons, daughters, husbands and wives etc servicing this country because they chose to do so. Obama, needs to realize you can talk all you want, but sometimes, we need to rely on our military, so my question is, due to our military being stretched thin, if needed, would all of you Obama believers, still support this guy if he had to put in a draft and take your family members away from you to serve this country?, I think not, the young of this nation would kill themselves trying to get over the boarders. talk is cheap folks, and no one, will be able to filx all the issues, he isn't ready people, I am a democrat long statnding, but if he gets the nomination, I will vote for McCain, and that scares me too, but just a little less than Obama.

Obama is the one who should withdraw. His publically stated that from her youth until just now -- she has not be proud of her nation and the fact that she is an American. Over the weekend Obama did something that cost him (in my mind) his integrity. He mailed out fliers containing charges against Hillary that Ad analyzers on NPR found to contain false information. I really do not want that kind of person to be my President.
