Obama- the all time greatest Kirby Vacuum Salesman ever- guy could sell ice cubes to the eskimos- Dang remninds me of that used car salesman that sweet-talked me into that lemon I bought- BUT HE WAS SO DANG BELIEVABLE when he was TALKING!!!

You have all wanted to see Hillary defeated. I honestly can't tell the difference between MSNBC and FOX? You don't even give the appearance of being balanced. I have a hard time telling with Keith Obermann lips start and Obama's posterior end? All I pray is that Nader steps up to the plate and Bloomberg decides to run..which will all but finish the storied fairy tale called "Obamalot."

PittsburghBoy2008: I have a hard time telling with Keith Obermann lips start and Obama's posterior end

EXCELLENT! I have lost so much respect for Olbermann. I understand that he's an opinionator, not a journalist, but he and all his guests are so biased, it's disgusting. I've stopped watching CountDown until after the primaries. He should nominate himself, Mathews, Shuster and his whole network for Worst Person once in awhile!

Alter, you are a saint, it won't happen - as you can see she is already slinging mud - you are also correct the voters will teach her a lesson

I have always considered my voting record as moderate and non-partisan. I always vote on conscience, guts, and what is best for the country. Although i consider myself a Democrat and would be willing to vote for a republican candidate if that is the best choice.
On Hillary, I believe that she is more bent on becoming the first woman president than in achieving greatness for this country. I think that she is a living a dream when she boast her years in the white house as experience for the job-correct me if I am wrong but last time I checked we elect a president not a first lady. Her tactics and lack of vision have been her on doing. Lets face it Obama is a leader with a vision that is unmatched by any other candidate on this race. He is the only man for this job. America needs him in the white house, and Hillary should get out now. I do not even want her on the presidential ticket. I do not believe that she has done enough to earn that privilege.

Excuse me but what has Barack Obama accomplished that is so great? Seriously, he's only a few years older than I am and trust me he has a lot of growing to do.

  • Posted By: Quintas @ 02/25/2008 5:19:26 PM

I want to know: how does being First Lady for 8 years measure up to "political experience"? Hillary hasn't served in the Senate very long either -- FEWER than 8 years! Neither Democratic candidate -- Hillary Clinton or Barak Obama -- has substantive experience needed to lead our country.

    • Posted By: alru @ 02/25/2008 5:41:26 PM

If you have any knowledge of how politics and the White House works, you would know the First Lady plays and important and integral diplomatic role. When tow leaders aren't seeing "eye-to-eye" the First Lady usually goes on some sort of "help-the-children" venture to that particular country. Who does she meet with? the wife of that country's leader... the other First Lady. They talk and work on a common ground for their spouse's future discussions. Hillary is much better prepared than Obama to lead this country. Contrary to what some ill-informed posters here have stated, she, as well as Bill Clinton are very well liked around the world, including the middle-east. The White House would once again be trusted and respected around the world, in most countries. In addition to a learning curve, Obama would have to build that trust and respect with other countries, as he is an unknown entity with little experience. That is what scares me. Many "African-Americans" in some States are voting for Obama just because he is black, not necessarily because of his qualifications. They think that because he is "of color" that he'll do something "special" for them; highly unlikely. Of the two, Hillary is best qulified. As another poster wrote, let Obama be the VP and then after eight years, he'll be seasoned enough for the Presidential chair.

Hillary does have 35 years experience...being a political activist. she never said that she had 35 yrs in political positions. she has been activating for the poor and the blacks since the early 70's. that gives her 35 years experience in the issues that matter. duh.

Maybe try allowing people in Ohio & Texas to actually VOTE first before writing such an article??

I'm SO tired of the media calling this election time and time again before actual voting occurs. The bias needs to stop.

    Pillory Hillary.

  • Posted By: shanade @ 02/25/2008 5:31:47 PM

Hillary has been nothing but graceful since she was introduced as first lady. What isn't graceful is saying your black when your not (only half of you Obama), your patriotic but you don't put your hand over your heart (excusinging your behavior because everyone at football games and baseball games don't do it!) and having your wife say she feels proud of her country for the first time in her adult life! Media is calling that graceful? god help us

    • Posted By: IAMROUGHDRAFT @ 02/25/2008 5:41:06 PM

their is none so blind as they who will not see.....you sound like Rush with your hand over heart litmus test....Linclon nor George Washington put a flag pin (made in China and distributed by WalMart ) on, or hand over heart (which comes to us from the hey day of the KKK as does the pledge) Clintons both brought us Nafta and the war....and are both responsible as Hill does claim her Hubby's sucesses as hers ..so she must bear responsibility for his mistakes too.
Geeeze your reasoning is so Republican-Neo-con, that is just what the Clintons are painting their legacy as today.
      Hill-Billy for sure!

I agree. If Hillary wants to protect her political aspirations, she should really exit the race now. She is mean and evil-spirited. I saw President Bush dancing native dances just a few days ago with the people of Africa. Does Hillary have anything derogatory to say about that?
Call it a mood she is in; call it her feelings of desperation; no excuse for someone claiming to be experienced. I see it in Bill's face too. (The anger and desperation.)
If anything, all of Hillary's animated mood swings merely represent something we do not want handling world affairs. I have nothing against her, but enough slamming and picking from the Clinton machine is quite enough for the American people to listen to. We are not in the mood for the shrill machine. She is kind of too moody for me to be able to identify with. I hear her? I sense an angry, bitter woman.

    • Posted By: floridagramma @ 02/25/2008 1:50:57 PM

The following is a quote from Barack Obama's Dreams from my Father. If that doesn't reveal an angry person, I don't know what does!! "We were always playing on the white man's court...by the white man's rules....If the principal, or the coach, or a teacher...wanted to spit in your face, he could, because he had the power and you didn't...The only thing you could choose was withdrawal into a smaller and smaller coil of rage."

      • Posted By: Obama supreme @ 02/25/2008 5:40:44 PM

That was a long time ago. Obama has clearly made peace with whites as a whole in tghe 2000's.

      • Posted By: truth31 @ 02/25/2008 2:12:18 PM

I agree that Hilary is too moody and would be a risk to this country. It looks like her supporters are not much different. I think they would just rather have her win, just to say she won and do not care of the problems we face. I believe now more than ever we need to come together and solve the problems we face. The sad thing is, if Democrats do not unite the Republicans could win. Hopefully, Hillary supports will recognize there mood swing by Novemeber and support a capable leader as Obama. Hate will not solve the problems we face.

Mr. Alter just made me realize how wrong this country's voters are! Why bother registering, getting up and going to the polls and spending a lot of time researching to vote when he can pick the candidates for us!

    • Posted By: hempy @ 02/25/2008 5:40:31 PM

I hope you're a democrat and that plenty more democrats end up feeling just like you.

  • Posted By: turboxxiii @ 02/25/2008 5:27:48 PM

Hilary must perservere. If Obama is elected this country will descend int chaos and corruption within weeks. Look at any city where blacks have been elected to power. Corruption abounds. Washington DC. New Orleans. Cleveland.

Obama has no record. Clinton has a record, and it is actually relatively good. Obama, regardless of his personal desires will be fodder for the power hungry corrupt and will be fed on like a dog.

    • Posted By: mizzzeta @ 02/25/2008 5:40:28 PM

And look at the state of our country: unending, expensive war, rich get richer politics, and an unstable economy with private home foreclosures at an all time high. Are Blacks responsible for that too? You're an idiot.

    • Posted By: triplets07 @ 02/25/2008 5:33:46 PM

You have the right to your opinion but to me you sound a bit disapointed in the fact that a black man can be just as moving and smart as a white woman!

  • Posted By: pattyg1105 @ 02/25/2008 5:40:18 PM

Frankly.. I think the whole MSM should bow out!!!! We get nothing from you people. Nothing but a bunch of lies.

  • Posted By: milliecastillo1873@msn.com @ 02/25/2008 5:40:11 PM

I think most Americans have forgotten that when the Clinton's were in power, our budget was in the black, we were not in a war, unemployment was down and job opportunities were available. Also forgotten is that the job of President of the US is not on the job training. If Obama is nominated, the conservatives would come out in force to elect McCain, and then we are back with a Republican gov't again. More war, more deaths..

  • Posted By: dallasiteforhillary @ 02/25/2008 5:39:59 PM

Primaries are til after April but we are going to pick a nominee before then? Whats that about?
Hillary could still win in Texas and Ohio and by more than 5 points.

  • Posted By: mumms @ 02/25/2008 5:39:53 PM

Obama hasn't proved anything except that he can make pretty speaches, and not be challeged by the press about anything, and Hillary is challaged on everything, Change, is that all he can say, he represents the same type of Washington leaders that we have always had. Quick!, run to the window, he might just be walking on water today....he's not ready to be a commander & chief.

  • Posted By: bellypotamus @ 02/25/2008 5:39:47 PM

I wish everyone would realize that Hillary, Obama, and Mccain are not going to turn anything around as an elected president. Somehow every election people think that this human up on the platform giving mostly hot air speeches is the answer to the US troubles Not so! Every candidate has areas they are weak in. When you elect a president, you are basically trading one set of problems for antoher...so please realize that Hillary nor any of the others are going to be the savior of the US. !Bush bashing should stop cause Bill Clinton was not a shining example of a president, I seriously doubt his wife will, and Obama or McCain are flawed himans too, as we all are. (This election has the poorest choices we have had in a while, in my opinion.) Too bad Condaleeza Rice didn''t run, oh well!

  • Posted By: B0Bissy @ 02/25/2008 5:39:03 PM

Let me add my two cents....If Hillary was to go against Mccain she would undoubtably win..HANDS DOWN. The people know this. Barak will NEVER win against McCain. If Barak does win more delagates you can be assured that the next President will be a republican! I feel like the republicans are setting us up for a fall. Pay attention everyone. Clintons a woman and thats her ONLY downfall, but barak, well what about him...oh yes he gives good speeches. He has NO experience. NONE....We know more about Jesse Jackson? either one will represent change in America. maybe they should toss a coin and then join forces or the democrates will loose again

  • Posted By: alaflemi @ 02/25/2008 5:38:37 PM

The last posting about racism has no basis. Like many liberal democrats before him, Obama believes it's the thought that counts, not the action. He hasn't elaborated on anything he's promised so far, and what America needs is action, not promises. Stop using accusations of race as a weapon. That low class speech makes YOU look like the ignorant one.
