It's not o.k. to say that Declaration of Kosovo is bullshit because it is document from one legal Government and Parliament! The truth is that Albanian people is dominated in Kosovo but Serbian people also have right to leave on place where they leave all life. And also everyone have to know that all Serbian history is made in Kosovo from 10 to 15 century.

Politicians and ordinary people know that the declaration of so-called "Kosovo's independence" declares in the first place the US and NATO huge interests in keeping their military presence in Kosovo. The hypocrisy and cynicism of the US government's international policy have reached the limits of tolerance in the world. The US government destroys international peace and instigates the Cold War atmosphere in the world which is being divided by the US aggression into spheres of interests again.

The Recognition of Kosovo's Independence by the most powerful world's countries is a fact that Kosovo IS NOT part of Serbia anymore. In other words, it is a neoliberal and democratic and multiethnic country where all its citizens (albanian kosovars, serb kosovars, roma community, turks) can live and work freely. I'm sorry that authors of this article have the minimal knowledge of Balkans' history and are writing from one point of view only, that of serbs in Serbia, of course, and they don't have any idea of what serbs that live in Kosovo think about Kosovo's Independence and they want to live in Kosovo, it is their country, too. Serbia did nothing about them so far just empty declarations from Belgrade and many other bullshits. So, I suggest to the authors and other people to do more research about Kosova and other countries in region of Balkans. Cheers my mates!

As stated above, what else would you expect from an administration that doesn???t live in a ???reality based community??? that has trillions of dollars and millions of brainwashed subjects? We have the clinically insane leading a brainwashed population. The only smart thing to do would be to get out of their way, until we figure out a way to stop them. Encouraging and sponsoring this fake "state" of Kosovo to declare it's illegal secession is 1) Illegal 2) Dumb 3) Sets a dangerous precedent.
Please stop rationalizing and trying to come up with fake "historical" or "humanitarian" excuses.
Illegal is illegal, no matter how you try to spin this.

The partition of the Kosovo district to an Albanian controled south territory and a Serbian controlled north part is already a de-facto situation, an almost practicaly imposed map by the K-FOR (with control posts, internal borders etc which only mean to separate the two communities - ethnic groups and keep them apart). Therfore, the claim of the Kosovar-Albanians that their new-born state extends up to the northern borders of the district with central Serbia (and therefore their new flag depicting the whole province) is much as fool as the claims of Serbia that the whole Kosovo province is still under their sovereignty.
The only viable solution for the future is the further partition of Kosovo to an independent Albanian-controlled South Kosovo (but not assimilation to Albania, because of the extreme albanian nationalism and their aspirations of Greater Albania, an idea which has no place in the civilised Europe) and to the assimilation of the Serbian-controlled North Kosovo to Serbia itself (because it is too small to become an independent viable state and as a reward of Serbia for giving away the rest of the Kosovo porvince). Both Albanians and Serbs have to realise that they just cannot have all they want.

its so pathetic to see how desperate are serbs to use any means against Kosovars. Even if it means fabricating religious stories. there are ZERO facts that there is any muslim religious influence in kosovo, even less extremism. only violent religious extremism comes from the highest ranks of serb-orthodox xhurch that publicly supported the terrorist acts of serbian troops agains other non-serbs (croats, bosniacs, albanians...catholics, muslims...)

We should be seeking to DECREASE insane islamic states in the world, not increase them.
The world should be seeking to remove ALL signs and symbols of islam; so that future generations are not brainwashed with the mental poison of islamic lessons in violence, vengeance and barbarism.

Insane islam DOES NOT belong in the Balkans. Insane islam IS the root of the present problems in the Balkans; and ALL its signs and symbols should be eradicated, or shipped to the Arabian Peninsula.
So creating one more sign of insane islam, independent Kosovo, is only another source of problems for the people of the Balkans.

Kosovo, a place of a mere 2 million inhabitants CANNOT stand on its own apart from Serbia, without outside assistance.
As soon as the nonsensical NATO forces leave, the Serbs will RIGHTLY overturn the silly independence.

Also, why foolishly antagonize a nation with numerous nukes, the Russians (Serbia's close ally)?

I am amazed at the restraint of the Serbs and their government, a fifth of the country has been stolen from them. This is what lies in store for many other nations when ethnic groups from other countries become a majority within their midst. President Bush's blessing to this robbery will have dire consequences for the USA in the not too distant future.
