Comment: Take note: Obama on April 15th went against his Principles. He Always Refuses to wear an American Flage on his Lapel .... But today he was shamed into wearing it when a Veteran presented it to him. He ofcourse said he would wear it to represent the gifters service..... I have always felt that I did not want a President that refused to wear the pin on his liapel, that refuses to participate in the Pledge of Allegiance or that refuses to put his hand over his heart during the National Anthem, and I certainly do not want a President who goes against his on Principles in an attempt not to look Anti-American when that is exactly what he is... He will not have my vote in the General Election if he is the Nominee...... My vote is for the American that is for America... Hillary gets my vote....

The News media coverage was on the O.J TRIAL , like the first time...The Wild Fires was just another Distraction to keep the Final of the O.J trial away from the people ...The News Media know he was going to walk away just because he is Black, and the News Media do not want to JEOPARDIZE the Obama Campain .... The Wild Fires was to cover O.J Trial Final ....

DISCRIMINATION is only when blacks are afected, thet was not Discrimination against Non-Black Drivers who apply for the same position... It was just PREFERENCE for Blacks..

If Obama wins, we are on deep PUPU... The Discrimination against white and hispanics is going to Increase .... Our News Media keeps pushing Barack Obama for the Presidency ....

Comment: I just want to say that men feel very threatened by Hillary because she tells it like it is, and does not compromise her integrity. My husband said that if she was a man that he would vote for her but because she is a woman, she should not be president and many others feel this way as well. From what I know and what I have followed from the Mr. Clinton administration on, what I know is that she has always done what was right without compromise, and completely unselfishly. She is a caring, person that is not going to be pushed around and that is something that this county needs. It upsets me that the media and government officials are trying to strong arm the American people saying they are 100% behind Obama even before the people that voted them in had a chance to have their say. I have never seen this type of media propoganda before...it is sickening! If I had a choice between voting for Obama or whoever the Republican is, I would vote for the latter because he is more qualified but Hillary is more qualified to be President and stands for what America stands for.

Comment: There many be only small differences between Hillary and Obama's health care plans but those slight differences may be critical. We have two young sons, 23 and 26 who are currently without health care because they can not afford to purchase health care with their low income jobs. As with many others, their low income jobs do not offer health care. They are healthy but when they do become ill they put off going to the doctor because of the cost. We worry every day that serious illness/injury will strike them. Hillary's health care plan will provide coverage for young adults like my sons but Obama's does not.. Such health care coverage is greatly needed.

Comment: Obama voted for one of Bush's top priorities - expanding Nafta to South America - even as President Bush obstructed all the top Democratic priorities.

Comment: My family and friends have been following the 2008 Presidential election and feel overwhelming compelled to express our sadness, disgust witnessing the continued unfair disturbing treatment that Senator Clinton continually receives from men in the media. WE were frankly surprised to see how many men are threatened by Senator Clinton???s abilities, just read the articles. The daily gender discrimination and horrible names Senator Clinton is called, forced my family and friends to research candidates like obama ourselves since the media is no longer fair and unbiased. A black man has a better chance in this country than a white woman. It???s a shame that media keeps the race issue going in an attempt to disguise their gender discrimination against smart educated and powerful women. WE are tired of the race card that the media is creating and pushing in the face of voters. The media has dropped the ball. We the viewers and most importantly the VOTERS looked to news stations and newspapers for unbiased FACTS about ALL the presidential candidates to assist voters on making a wise and educated decision on who will run our country. Unfortunately you prove daily/hourly that your biased and often racial tabloid news It???s a disservice to our great country that you attack and discriminate a white female Senator and Former two term First lady who has done a great deal of good in 35 years of political service to our country that is dismissed and ignored for fear of upsetting a black candidate and his racial supporters. You should be ATLEAST reporting the differences and giving obama the same microscopic personal attacks that you continue to do to a white female United States Senator. You have no credibility in reporting the news. If we wanted this type of so-called news, we can buy the National Enquire. Women in this country should stand up and not be bullied by these men who do all they can to keep women underpaid and treated unfairly.

    • Posted By: Linda Lee @ 04/16/2008 11:34:46

Comment: Josh, you are not alone I feel the same way.. I believe if the reporting was fair people would make a fair choice. But Obama is like the Media's small child, in their eyes he can do nothing wrong. On the other hand if Hillary says something wrong they are relentless, But when Obama says something that is insulting to the People of Small Town America they are quick to forgive whith a explanation from him that he should have used different words, as if an insult is served up better with whip cream... Hillary has always been for the working class and I it seems that the media has made the voters feel as if a vote for Hillary would be a wasted vote. They want people to jump on the Obama Bandwagon. I will vote for Hillary in the General Election if she is the Nominee, and if she is not I will not vote.

Comment: NO CHANGE IN POLITICAL CORRUPT BACKERS WITH HUSSEN OBAMA!!!

EACH WEEK WE HEAR ANOTHER ONE, OBAMA IS CONSTANLY SURROUNDED BY CORRUPTION, ESPECIALLY WHERE CAMPAGINE FUNDS ARE CONCERNED WHERES CNN? MSNBC? FOX/ ROLAND MARTIN? IDIOT TUCKER CARLSON? BILL KRISTOL? TIM RUSSETT? AND ANYOTHER SO-CALLED TABLOID ENQUIRER TYPE ANIT FEMALE JOURALIST
****A British-Iraqi billionaire lent millions of dollars to Barack Obama's fundraiser just weeks before an imprudent land deal that has returned to haunt the presidential contender, an investigation by The Times discloses. The money transfer raises the question of whether funds from Nadhmi Auchi, one of Britain's wealthiest men, helped Mr Obama buy his mock Georgian mansion in Chicago. A company related to Mr Auchi, who has a conviction for corruption in France, registered the loan to Mr Obama's bagman Antoin "Tony" Rezko on May 23 2005. Mr Auchi says the loan, through the Panamanian company Fintrade Services SA, was for $3.5 million. Another Obama friend Rep. Rick Renzi indicted Friday on multiple federal charges, law enforcement sources tell CNN. In a 35-count indictment handed up by a grand jury in Arizona, Renzi is charged with conspiracy, wire fraud, money laundering extortion and insurance fraud. The indictment stem from Renzi's efforts to use his position in Congress to promote land deals in Arizona by a former business partner, according to the sources. Again more corrupt camp donations for Obama! WHERES THE MEDIA??? We are sick of the media pushing obama down our throats! in the aftermath of federal bribery/extortion/conspiracy/other miscellaneous badness indictments of former Dallas Mayor Hill, Obama camp financial contributor and supporter Again has its hands full with other publically indicted bankrollers like Rezko. Hill's campaign finance report shows donations April and federal campaign finance reports indicate Obama received donations in June as well. Of course Obama camp couldn't be reached for comments, did Axelrod loose his voice?
Obama's Relationship with Rezko Goes Back 17 Years. Obama Kept Contributions From Accused Fixer's (REZKO)Wife And Others ABCNews.com Analysis Shows the Campaign Still Hasn't Returned More Than $100,000 in Obama is referred to in document which outlines case against Rezko As Barack Obama is finding out, it's not as easy to dump politically toxic campaign donations as it might seem. For the third time in more than a year, Obama's presidential campaign announced this week it was shedding more donations tied to indicted fundraiser Antoin "Tony" Rezko.

Comment: There are three reasons why the media has hated to no end on Mrs. Clinton:

    A) Sexism is the only acceptable form of discrimination in America while racism is completely taboo. The media loves drama, they love having a god and a devil and since they have been demonizing women in power forever it only makes sense that they continue with the tradition.

    B) With all of the young, independent support Obama picked up in the beginning, it was very easy to spin him as the candidate that was for the "young" and wanted "change." Being young is cool, while being old is not cool and all the media cares about is what is trendy and popular and what will sell papers, not what is right.

    C) Obama's entire campaign is based on celebrity endorsements and the media loves a known, likable face to throw on the front pages of their publications (again, it sells). Those of us actually paying attention know that it wasn't until OPRAH jumped on the campaign trail in Iowa, thus gaining heavy media attention, is the ONLY reason why his numbers suddenly jumped.

So why don't you just admit it and apologize now Obama supporters: You have bought into the fake media hype and could possibly ruin the chance for the democrats to have a strong and worthy nominee: Mrs. Hillary Rodham Clinton!!!

Comment: I really do not understand the frenzy surrounding Obama. He claims that he is running for President tro change Washington, yet just the race for the nomination ahs changed him. His real campaign is nothing more than the same old politics. Right now to be honest, I have been thinking about a question asked by another blogger yesterday-- Why do people dislike Obama so much? I finally have come to understand why I dislike him Over seven years ago another politician running for this same office promised to be a uniter and not a divider. This is the same man who has spent seven years in the whote house running this country into the ground. Oh yes, I desperately want change, but change does not come from voting for the same old promises!

Comment: Money talks doesnt it he buying for votes by mailing out false information to the American people knowing it wasn't true. It ok for Obama to have a Clinton supporter working with his campaign that helped pushed the NAFTA when Bill Clinton was in the white house but its wrong for Hillary lets get real. When was asked today on the new media he dodge the question just like Obama dose when he is asked a question.

Comment: Obama is blamming hillary on the NAFTA when she was in the white house. But Obama had one of Clinton supporter that's supporting Obama was in the Clinton years same as Hillary supported the NAFTA but it alright for him to suport it but shame on Hillary come Obama be fair.

Comment: Go here and check on Obama!

    http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/us_elections/article3433485.ece

Then read this letter by a gentlemen:My fellow Americans,

As your future president I want to than k voters of all political stripes for their mindless support, despite my complete lack of any legislative achievement, my pastor???s ties with Louis Farrakhan and Libyan dictator Moamar Quadafi, and my blatantly liberal voting record while I present myself as some sort of bipartisan agent of change.

I also like how my supporters claim my youthful drug use and criminal behaviour somehow qualifies me for the presidency after 8 years of claiming Bush???s youthful drinking disqualifies him. Your hypocrisy is a beacon of hope shining over a sea of political chicanery.

I would also like to thank the Kennedys for coming out in support of me. There???s a lot of glamour behind the Kennedy name, even though JFK started the Vietnam War, his brother Robert illegally wiretapped Martin Luther King Jr., they both slept with Marilyn, and Teddy???s negligence caused the death of a young girl. I???m not going anywhere near the Kennedy cousins, especially Michael Skakel.

And I???d like to thank Oprah Winfrey for her support.

Her love of meaningless empty platitudes will be the force that propels me to the White House.

Americans should vote for me, not because of my lack of experience or achievement, but because I make people feel good. White people who vote for me get some relief from their racist guilt.

I say things that sound meaningful but don???t really mean anything because Americans are tired of things having meaning. If things have meaning, then that means you have to think.

    Americans are tired of thinking.

It???s time to shut down the brain and open up the heart.

So when you go to vote in the primaries, remember don???t think, just do.

    And do it for me.

    Thanking you in advance.

    BarackHusseinObama

(I???m Barack Obama and I approved this message)

Comment: Are the mailers the real problem here with Hillary. Isn't it true Hillary thinks Obama is abandoning his core Democrat principles because he doesn't embrace her Universal Health Care front. In every campaign the truth is always stretched to the max. No matter what Obama does it's going to get on Hillary's nerves because he isn't acting as liberal as she is. No one tells Hillary anything about throwing it in Obama's face that he's running a campaign like that of Carl Rove. Is that misleading or what. No one tells Hillary anything about claiming Obama is presenting Republican ideas to his supporters in his speeches. Is that misleading also. Just because Hillary and Bill doesn't put their misleading statements about Obama in mailers, are they suppose to get a free pass.

Obama is hoping the same result. If Massachusettes was happy with the results of the election, mind you Obama got the backing of Deval, Kennedy, and Kerry, why did Hillary win that state? Comment: Obama voted for Cheney's energy bill in 2005. Clinton voted against it.

Obama's 2007 League of Conservation Voters report came out this week. Obama's score is a mere 67.

Obama's largest contributors to his campaign are executives of a nuclear power company in Illinois.

Robert Kennedy, Jr who is an environmental lawyer with the NRDC (Robert Redford sits on board) backs Clinton. He's stumping for her now. The media completely ignores this.

Kennedy wrote Crimes Against Nature. There's a chapter on the nuclear industry.

The reason why Obama is winning because he is not about this GOT-CHA politics, but chooses to debate the issues. Believe me, as all of us know, he could bring up all kind of Dirty things on the Clintons, but this is negative politicking, politics that tears you down and not build you up. Obama is not about this, he wants a more uplifting and unifying tone to dominate Washington, so we can get some things done. Time waits for no one and we must measure up to our times. We must find newer and more positive ways to do things and address our problems. It's called problem solving. And Obama has over 20 years of experience coupled with Judgement.

"We all know the record of the DLC, the Progressive Policy Institute and, of course, the Clinton-Gore Administration. The economic recovery plan stands first and foremost as a testament to both good ideas and political courage. National service. The Brady Bill. Family Leave. NAFTA. Investment in science and technology. New markets. Charter schools. The Earned Income Tax Credit. The welfare to work partnership. The COPS program. The SAFER program. All of these came out of some very fundamental ideas about what would work.

"The results speak for themselves. Those ideas were converted into policies programs that literally changed millions of lives and, I argue, changed America."

There is no need to lie because the truth always have a way of coming out. People are FINALLY starting to see the truth about Obama---I know it is hard for you to accept the fact that the Messiah is a double talking phony but that is exactly what he is. Just keep watching the coverage and you will see it as clear as day! You can only be in denial for so long!

Comment: DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE!!!!
FREE TRADE DOES NOT MEAN NAFTA. THE LAST A IN NAFTA MEANS AGREEMENT. IT IS THE TERMS OF THE AGREEMENTS THAT ARE NOT FAIR. HE SAID I SUPPORT FREE TRADE THAT IS FAIR TO THE AMERICAN WORKERS. WE SHOULD HAVE FREE TRADE, WHAT WE NEED TO DO IS REVISIT THE TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT. THAT IS WHAT BOTH CLINTON AND OBAMA WANT. THE ONLY THING HERE IS THAT SHE IS SAYING SHE NEVER SUPPORTED IT. NOBODY IS PERFECT, OBAMA, SHOULD HE BE PRESIDENT WILL HAVE FAILURES. ITS ABOUT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR FAILURES WHICH SHE DOES NOT WANT TO DO WITH HER IRAQ VOTE AND DOES NOT WANT TO DO WITH NAFTA

DURING THE GENERAL ELECTIONS, MONICA LEWINSKY, PAULA JONES, JUANITA BRODERICK, AND OTHERS WILL BE DOING INTERVIEW ON TV. WE NEED TO MOVE PAST ALL THAT STUFF AND TALK ABOUT REAL PROBLEMS. WE CAN'T DO THAT IF SHE IS IN THE NATIONAL SCENE. I'M SORRY, THE RIGHT WING MEDIA WILL BRING ALL THIS BACK AGAIN. ALL THESE WOMEN WILL WAKE UP FROM THE DEAD AND THERE WILL BE MORE SCANDALS. Comment: My family and I will definitely be voting for Senator Hillary Clinton. We feel she is the most qualified to be President.

As a college educated young woman, I am proud to have a qualified and viable woman running for President. It's about time. America is a leader in the world, yet other countries have had women Presidents and Prime Ministers (e.g. England, Pakistan, Israel, Argentina, Philippines, India, etc.).

American women were given the right to vote in 1920, after a long struggle. A few women have attempted to run for President, without success. We now have a strong and viable candidate in Hillary. It???s a tough job running for President. For a woman, it???s even tougher.

Let's support Senator Clinton and make history by electing her the FIRST WOMAN President of the US. A woman President will be CHANGE. We may not get this chance again for many years.

Obama will be busy fixing the country that NAFTA will contiunously stay in its present form. And we the Americans will still have to wait for the agreement to be amended. Comment: I am not sure that i understand Factcheck.org. If you are against something then you are against, and if you are for something, then you are for it. The problem with Hillary is that she always wants to stand in the middle and which ever way the wind blows and if it is in her favor then she wants to lean that way. If NAFTA was not good then she should have made it known if she is for the good of the people, not for political reasons. She say that she can take the heat then take the heat and fight for what is right. So i still don't see where Obama is wrong for what he said. Factcheck.org said that what she said about NAFTA was a phrase but they could not find where it was a qoute what in the hell does that mean, i see that you guys can't state facts either. • Posted By: Cassandra113364 @ 02/25/2008 13:59:43

Comment: Hillary is not able to be president. Her name is attached to bad ideas and she does not have th insight to see that it is bad before she votes for it. Hillary is always in the middle and depending on where the hammer falls she wants to make sure that she is on the other side.

      • Posted By: samschwortz @ 02/25/2008 11:35:28

Comment: if hillary had solicited the support of dems and repub to amended nafta before her run for the white house, then should would have had a better argument about being against this agreement that has taken jobs from american workers. she can't say she has 35 years of experience and not be held accountable for 'bad judgment or wrong decision making' like the war. nafta / this iraq are included in her resume.

        • Posted By: Jrmapu @ 02/25/2008 12:15:21

Comment: With all the issues on the table, NAFTA included, why didn't Obama do the same to make himself ready to take on the role of President? Too bad Hillary is the only one whether she is right or wrong tackles the issues. Politics as we all know is not on a measured time table. Everything has its time.

  • Posted By: Thevail @ 02/24/2008 11:30:14 PM

Comment: Seriously though, Clinton's campaign is over. When a candidate is no longer discussing the issues, but the "unfairness" of how the race was run, they have already lost.

And in all reality, I am sure that this campaign run seems unfair to Hillary Clinton. She started out a rich child, who became a rich adult, and who married a rich man and moved into the biggest white house in America. She entered this race thinking that with George Bush for the last eight years shooting the Republican party in the foot and her name recognition, once again a gift from family (her presidential husband to be exact) she had it all sewn up.

She was so convinced of her superiority in the Democratic field of contenders that she never even bothered to create a plan for all those "small states" after Super Tuesday. And since then her increasingly desperate insistence on Super delegates and Ohio and Texas has been kinda nasty sounding. Not to mention her campaign now wanting to reverse the decision she helped make about seating the Florida and Michigan delegates.

And Hillary's "political" decision to publicly support NAFTA if she disagreed with it just shows a lack of character and spine. I imagine that everyone who initially supported NAFTA now sees its inherent problems. Just as I imagine that everyone (except McCain) who initially voted for the war has since realized that it wasn't actually a great idea. So while political talking heads may make a big deal about her having changed her position on it, um...duh! She was still wrong on both initial decisions and quite possibly outright cowerdly on one of them. And furthermore, I fail to see anything unusual in an old school politician "changing their mind" about a policy once it has failed publicly. It is what they always do.

Comment: Well Said!!! Go Obama in Texas!!!

    • Posted By: Jrmapu @ 02/25/2008 11:12:43

Comment: Hillary cannot deliver the issues because people are being lead to believe her issues are Obamas. Most of his platform has come on her hardwork. He really is xeroxing her agendas. As far as NAFTA goes, as another person pointed out, she was not in poltical office to make a difference. I do recall she knew there was something wrong with the agreement in its written form and it needed to be changed. She is still the one to make a dent to fix what is wrong with our country. Obama will be busy trying to UNITE America after this fiasco. The circus will come to an end.

      • Posted By: samschwortz @ 02/25/2008 11:48:15

Comment: Hillary can't try and fix all of her mistakes or the ones she supported before she got into office that's not effective leadership. she campioned nafta - shipped jobs overseas/put americans out of work - and now she wants to fix it; she voted for the war - 650k iraqis/4k u.s. soldiers are dead/90k injured +homeless, etc - and now she wants to fix it. let's 'get real' for a second - those jobs are never coming back and neither are the dead soldiers/iraqis. thank goodness she did not pass her universal health care in the 90's - because today she would be saying - she would fix it!

        • Posted By: Jrmapu @ 02/25/2008 12:23:34

Comment: Hillary is not the only person who voted to fight the war on terrorism. For the same reason the DNC has to go with the will of the people in this election, the will of the people at that time was to go to Iraq. So, go under your rock. As for universal healthcare? We really already have a form of it. In medi-caid. That as well need to be fine tuned. We have so much right now that is broken which can be fixed. She understands that better than anyone else.

And it is because our dreamers dreamed that we have emerged from each challenge more united, more prosperous, and more admired than before??????.The true test of the American ideal is whether we???re able to recognize our failings and then rise together to meet the challenges of our time. Whether we allow ourselves to be shaped by events and history, or whether we act to shape them. Whether chance of birth or circumstance decides life???s big winners and losers, or whether we build a community where, at the very least, everyone has a chance to work hard, get ahead, and reach their dreams???.Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we???ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek???. I don???t want to settle for anything less than real change, fundamental change - change we need - change that we can believe in. It???s change that I???ve been fighting for over two decades ago. Because those dreams - American dreams - are worth fighting for???.

Like Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr, Nelson Mandela, and Mikhail Gorbachev, Barack Obama is a man of peace and love who is fighting against oppression and political corruption. ......>>read further at http://rampersad.wordpress.com/2008/02/23/46/

Comment: What have you been waiting for? Even another article I read by the press suggest all the candidates are dillusional. No one is going to be able to fix what is broken in four years. I have been fighting the American dreams for a long time. I have resolved that I am responsible for my own happiness and success. Barack Obama is a man of peace and love against oppression and political corruption.? I think he's just playing politics just like everyone else. Too categorize him with people like Ghandi especially, Ghandi was a peaceful man Obama has turned into a great big political bully.

Comment: Well this is typical politics. Same o same o. Of course Obama lied why shouldn't he? This is politics. Our country, yes this is our country, is becoming more and more divided everyday this campaign goes on.
Lets throw in religion. Tell me if any of Obama's speeches ever end with "God bless America"? I'm not sure if I heard him or not. Maybe that would stop the religious inuendos if he is indeed christian as we know christianity to be. Otherwise havng been a follower of Louis Farakhan, (please forgive me if I spelled his name wrong) who believes in the destruction of the United States, if this is true, isn't that like sending the cows to slaughter?
I know you should never mix religion and politics yet every other candidate has always made referrence to the loyalties of the United States as one nation under God.
I guess like marketingtruth has been trying to tell us, think and look at the facts. Read this read that and when we do it gets scarier and scarier. Where are we heading?

Comment: Let me give my two cents worth. True indeed these flyers have been circulating for a while but in the same token, Hillary and her camp contested the fliers when they first came out. They stated then that the fliers were misleading. The media very casually reported that she stated weeks ago that the fliers are not factual. After about 2 days of casually mentioning it, the story was buried.

Now that their is an election in Ohio and alot of factory workers were affected by Nafta, Obama, who has gotten away with absolutely everything thus far, found it necessary to redistrubute the fliers in Ohio. As everyone knows Texas and Ohio are must win states for Hillary and these fliers are misleading---of course she is angry and she is angrily speaking out this time. I find it very interesting that she had to angrily contest the fliers in order for the Media to get serious about this complaint.

I find it even more interesting that now some of the media and Obama have the audacity to say her outrage is tactical!! Give me a break, his actions are tactical and it says alot about him! Didn't he say he was going to bring about new politics and a new Washington. He was going to avoid the pettiness, bickering, underhandedness etc.... Isn't that what his campaign is about and isn't this what his true supporters (not people who are apart of the Anti HIllary Movement) most admire about him? Well guess what---all this man is showing is that he is the SAME as the t
