I am confused. Has McCain or Clinton run anything? I might have missed it but tell me what they run?
Yes I will give a my company to someone to run who has been able to run a very successful NATIONAL CAMPAIGN. So for all the ignorance you possess yes he is very qualified

goodmath, how can you suggest we get out of iraq when, as you posted, baghdad has only one hour of electiricy per day. Can you possibly imagine the quagmire that would be left behind by our turn our tail and run method. A president in twenty years would just have to go back and clean up what was left behind as this bush did after the first bush didn't finish in the job during the first Gulf war. As of your comment about president bush saying the Iraqi oil fields would pay for our cost of going there is absolutely wrong. that oil money that comes for the oil fields is meant for rebuilding infrastructure. And i would humbly admit defeat if you could find him saying that the iraqi oil would pay for this war.
As for the deficit. it is identical to previous wars when you look at the percent of GDP, it is true that the deficit is higher than any other time but the dollar is worth less and as the GDP shows our economy has grown a bit. And contrary to popular belief the dollar lowering in value will actually help industry in the united states because other countries will begin to shift their labor forces here due to the cost of doing business in the united states being lower, however our purchasing power will decrease in the world wide market but seeing as how our economy is mostly domestically based.. Excluding oil..., i know hard to believe.. but look at the facts, we have a relatively closed ecomomy so our So called recession, WHich by definition of recessioin is a fall in market price by 10%, which i might add has not occured, so goodatmath, u sir are the one perpetuating the democratic sound bite

In spite of the hatemongering, fear plagued innuendo out there. Sen. Obama is a brilliant agent of change who WILL be the next President of the United States. It is time someone took a stand to protect, undergird and improve the lives and livlihood of all americans, not just the elite. He will continue to compile a team second to none, to turn this system on it's head, and return the America to the superpower it deserves to be! Repeat after me "President Obama". Get used to it!

Regardless of all of the back and forth about Iraq, I think Barack is the most sensible candidate when it comes to this issue. Hillary wants to start a phased withdrawal in 60 days, that's ridiculous. McCain wants to be there for at least 10 years, possibly 100 years. That's ridiculous as well. Barak has continually said, though I wonder if anybody is listening, that he wants to be just as responsible about getting out as we were careless getting in. Though he does want to set a time table, he has also said he would consult with military leaders to ensure that the pull out strategy is a responsible one. I am voting for him because I do think Barack will disengage responsibly. Perhaps they all would and this going back and forth is just designed to get the voters all excited about nothing. But in that case, I'll put my money on the one who is more up front and honest about the issues we face and how they plan to address them. I think that is Barack Obama.

American hands are bathed in Muslim blood after invading Iraq. The only salvation is to elect a Muslim as the U.S. President who will lead Americans to Mecca. Vote for Barack Hussien Obama, or else.

I regret that people are disappointed in Mr. Obama because he is such a great orator. I'm not sure when that became a negative. Anyone who thinks he is all talk and no action or that he doesn't have real answers to the problems that are facing this country, should visit his Web site. Unless you are afraid that you mgiht actually find him to be quite sensible in his views and knowledgable in his approach. He's not muslim, though I'm glad we have freedom of religion in this country. I say that as a Christian. No, he's not naive or inexperienced. Though the Bible says, "and the children shall lead". Which indicates that sometimes even those who are naive, have more insight into how to solve problems than those who are not. And finally, I do not believe there is any validity to the Rezko smear campaign. The Clintons are throwing the "kitchen sink". If they had anything on Rezko, you can believe they would be throwing that as well. It might be worth pointing out that neither Clinton or McCain have clean hands when it comes to political scandals. I think Obama is ahead in this regard, even with all of the inuendo about Rezko. I've certainly had friends in my past who turned out to be something other than I thought they were. I didn't interview them and do criminal background searches before I decided to hold a civil conversation or perhaps go to a dinner that I was invited to. But who knows, perhaps I should have. :-)

Newsweek is trash. I have never seen so much biased reporting from any publication. Clinton raises $35 million, a top story everywhere, and there is no mention in Newsweek. They're too busy brown nosing for Obama. I apologize for placing this post here, there was no where else to put it. But whom ever you are voting for, all of you should see this bias floating ALL OVER this "news publication." Regardless of who you support, we should all support unbiased reporting so we can be informed by facts, not opinions. Help by letting Newsweek know that we are angry! Cancel your subscriptions.

In order to have a team, you must have a leader. Who is this one? I'd like to know who is pulling the puppet strings?

Wait, you all forget, he can not bring in any of the "old folks" who he has been talking trash about. He wants the new Washington which means he needs to start from scratch. Most of you Obama supporters feel he is God's gift to the world, well let him prove it. If he gets the nomination, they should all tell him to take a long walk off of a short pier.

Obama should solicit Colin Powell's expertise - not properly used by the Bush Administration - as his Secretary of State with Wesley Clark as his Sec of Defense, Hillary Clinton as Sec Health & Human Resources, Mike Huckabee as Sec of Interior, Bloomberg as Sec of Treasury, Condoleeza Rice as Chief of Staff. Sen. Obama is an expert at bipartisanarianism. He needs to get the experts from both sides to establish a hybrid team of experts to make a difference in this nation. He wants change - here's a way to do it!

Obama refused to vote for a bill in the Illinois State Senate that would have increased penalties for drug traffickers.

Obama voted against a bill that would have delivered the death penalty to gang members who murder first responders.

Obama was the only member of the Illinois State Senate to vote against a bill that prohibited early release for sexual predators
