Comment: Chuckie is only a small picture of the Texas Corrupted Justice System. Incarceration in Texas frequently doesn't even meet international standards on humane treatment. One out of Twenty-five people in Texas is under some form of tdcj supervision. Eighty percent of them are non-violent offenders. Looka t posts on prisontalk/texas. Eye opening experiences.

  Comment: Web Exclusive, meaning it wont appear in the print issue. As far as the incident, it just smells like Texas. Bushland V 1.0, where the most bigoted and least developed things that pass for people run what barely passes for a state. That one county is responsible for half of the judicial killing in the United States. The court system is a joke. A sick sad joke. We as a people should actually find a way to give your third world butts back to Mexico. If Spain would take Jebville, Florida, back... I could unfurl my 48 star flag with no regrets. Comment: If the man is a racist and isn't practicing ethical or moral behavior, there is no excuse; get rid of him. This man needs to go. We have to look at the big picture people, and stop pointing fingers at what party is doing this and that. If they get caught and it's out in the open, they need to prepare for what's coming to them. I don't care what race, color, creed, or whatever because I don't want people like that in the office representing others.

Don't misunderstand me, no one should be able to get away with this type of behavior, but trying to pin it on someone's political party is just wrong in my opinion. It seems that neither party has a lock on having knuckleheads and criminals in their midst.

Comment: I am never amazed by these self-righteous republicans using the bible to discharge thier brand of justice while their lives are the total antithesis of the standards that they exact from ordinary citizens. The case of the mother that drowned her 5-kids awful as it was she had a clear medical condition that affected her judgment is a case in point - it's ironic that he is now claiming diminsihed resposiblty due to prescription drugs...he is also a disgrace to the justice system that many of us worked hard to uphold the fudamenal tenets of equality, fairness and justice -- a stiff term of imprisonment would be a fair dispensation of justice.
