I do not blame Mr. Martin Linsky for writing such an article for a fried who also attended Harvard law school. It appears to be unfortunate being in the faculty position at the Kennedy school of Government, one can write such a biased report on the page of the Newsweek.

My understanding is as such that Mr. Martin tried to pull a fast on the people of this country by writing anything that will ultimately serve the purpose of Mr. Obama's campaign. But Alas! his own reader's have detected stink on his reporting. Please try to write a balace report if you want to present something to the American people.

Does Clinton's rhetoric match her true experience? Let's see day 1 of clinton pres.; what color hair shall i die for today, what color makeup shall i wear, shall i wear high heals or clogs, low cut or collar, fake shoulders or not, fake nails or just polish, fake boo's or not, i don't want to wear the same color as the priminister of England. Get sworn in. Party time, now being around bill all these years she has to be pretty kinky. But a fight ensues over catching bill with a campaign liaison, a national incident occurs in the White House, shots fired. Day 1!

What you see, is not what you GET.

Obama, 1st day take shower, brush teeth, brush hair, pick blue suit, black shoes, get sworn in. Party time, don't know what to expect here, maybe rev jackson and sharpton get down. Day 1!

What you see, is what you get!

This is the mental picture i have in my sick head of a h. clinton commander and squaw, she's no Margaret Thatcher

ee Martin, the things you are putting on the page of Newsweek are not even correct. You must fact check your facts and than report them. It is a shame that taking sides as a reporter on this campaign for one candidate should be unlawful. I as a reader understand that reporter's should be independent not biased. Please report anything that you want to but for God sake do not reprt factless stories.

These factless reports will not stand because your reader's are much more informative than that of you.

Clinton multiple personalities in the past couple days does not inspire or motivate a voter infact it scares the voters.

Clinton's inability to reveal her tax returns, her persecution of 6th grader that no rape occurred, her book deal, her lavish and luxury lifestyle coming across as a blue blood, her vote for Iraq war - that was the last straw that broke the camels back with her ridiculous explanation 'what we know now'.

It sounds like the author is TRYIING to portray Obama as omnipatent. He's a black man who is the saviour of not only the US but apparently the whole world. Now I guess he's also a woman. What are you guys going to think of next. This guy is nothing but a 2 bit politician who's been raised up by the stupid media. I am a lifelong Democrat and used to be proud of it but I'll vote for a republican before I vote for this freak show.

Did anyone else notice the quoted Toni Morrison article is dated as being written in 1988? Clinton was not president, nor running for president in 1988. Just a little fact.

It is unfortunate that Martin Lindsay has taken this path to describe a candiadte who just sees in absolute term with realism, change and hope. Yes, one needs to have a bold and decissiveness in policy making not just include people in dishing out policies where there will be none other than chaos and disagreement in fulfilling the objective of solving problems. One can for example the author of this article is suggesting that as president of the United States you can go to Bali, Indonesia and take few million suggesstion to solve the environmental problem from the face of this earth. A candidate like that is suggested here will lose out before making a solid and profound decision on the question of environment. Inspiration and realism is good but if a candidate does not have substantive understanding about the issue will ultimate fail in order to bring about a solution with the green house effect on this planet afterall such a candidate supported the energy policy of George Bush and Dick Cheney.

Here is one example that will be devastating for this country if such articles are written in support of such candidates that are riding high on just metaphor not on sustance. Mr. Martin also suggested that senator Obama's policies that he has implemented are naive as he detected from his speech in Wisconsin. These are big issues that one has to microscopically analyze and present them to the American people. I am all for an equal coverage from all candidates not just cherry picking good things from candidates speech but would prefer to hold these candidates accountable about their policies that will be substantive in nature. Other wise we will get a President that we had for the last seven years and move this country into the darkness of the Universe which all intent and purpose want to avoid.

One can write article but please do not be succumed to foolishness by reporting on the basis of charsma or a good orator but see through the prism of substantive policy issues that will drive this country forward by electing a President who can deliver a positive stand on this world. Let's debate issues not a person's belief on hope and change. How these hopes and change will be developed and fulfilled into reality not by saying them in speeches but laying them in policy substances that will benifit the people of this country. Let's involve these candidates in tose policy debate and than the American people can judge by electing a President of the United States of America.

Its sounds to me that Linsky wants the older white woman vote, taken away from Hillary!

Yes, 1998, not 1988; As an English major, I too have been annoyed at all these errors in Newsweek; Recently, past 30 days, I saw a reference to "1997" in Newsweek article when in fact the correct date was several years after 1997, 2001 or so; I can't remember exactly what that story was but I know I was annoyed at another of too many errors. NYT now getting flack too. Pin it down, folks, (not than I am for McCain, I am NOT.) Get it right please! .... Does anybody else here know the article I am referring to, 1997? I am getting old but not that old.

I think Toni Morrison wrote the essay in 1998, not 1988. There is a lot of stuff to read on the Internet, screaming to capture attention bandwidth. When I see a mistake this basic I just stop reading and go elsewhere.

I believe Obama and McCain a lot more than I believe Clinton. I think her newly added strategy of sarcasm is insulting, and I feel an ispirational and transparent government, the kind either Obama and McCain would undoubtedly try to run, would be a great thing for our country.

    That;'s not all, Linsky.

Obama has also displayed many qualities that are typically associated with jackasses. He will be the First Jackass President.
