Senator Obama has shown the foresight, vision, and wisdom needed to lead this country. His qualities are perfectly suited to this great democracy, while republican's are better suited to subverting the constitution in an effort to use the whitehouse as a monarchy. Sen. Obama will be the next president of the United States. Deal with it.

      Well stated!

In the general election, Obama will lose the states Hillary won except for California. He will not carry Ohio, or the tradional southern states that always vote republican. He may win the battle but lose the war. It will be a landslide for McCain.

What a ridiculous article! Did many black people really buy that Bill Clinton was the "first black president?" This woman will accept NOTHING but a biological woman for President...and NOW!

To angie_nc: first being a women have nothing to do with them calling him the first female president it jus shows that the things he value are those that strong women tend to alue adn worry about and how can you call some one inexperenced when they probably did more in their day then you did in your lifetime..if you want someone to keep our troops in iraq and fight for nothing then go ahead vote for hiliary the one who dont tend to raise minimum wage or even try to help females out she is more focuse on herself and stated that she will be a better candidate because of the simple fact that she knows what the life of a president is day to day why would you vote for someone like her that couldn't even control her own marriage a strong woman can control her own marriage, life and maintain an normal apperance..HOWEER I WILL NOT VOTE FOR A WOMAN THAT CN'T EVEN KEEP HER LIFE IN ORDER SO HOW COULD WE EXPECT HER TO KEEP US OUR NATION IN ORDER?

Angie_NC::: What are you talking about? "And anyone who believes a person who isn't a politician would run for President of the United States of America is nuts." That's exactly why goverment is in the state it's in! You can't "hoodwink" America as a black candidate. Don't be foolish. There are people on this blog that may not agree with much, but everyone (if they're being honest and uninhibited) would have to agree, there's no way a minority can hoodwink themselves in the position these candidates are. If you don't beleive me, I encourage you to read up on John McCain's background and you'll see what I'm talking about. There's no way either Democratic candidate would even be a Mayor with that history (Military service withstanding)

OBAMA FALSELY ACCUSES Sen. CLINTON ABOUT SUPPORTIN NAFTA POLICY.
THE FACT IS Sen. CLINTON HAS OPPOSED THIS POLICY FOR A LONG TIME AND HAS PROPOSED A TIMEOUT TO REVIEW IT.
OBAMA DOES NOT ALWAYS SPEAK THE TRUTH AND THE WHOLE TRUTH.

OPEN YOU MINDS VOTERS FROM US.

Shouting doesn't work. Hillary likes to shout. She has trouble speaking in a normal voice. Everything comes out screechy. I don't think this is helping her chances. She should hire a voice coach.

        Too late for voice coach...

To A Typical -- I'll tell you why woman are upset about Obama's success (at least from my point of view as a woman) -- we have seen the unfair way that the media has treated Hillary because she is a woman (remember the political obits before New Hampshire?) and we see that at the same time they have treated Obama like a saint . No wonder he is ahead -- in fact, its a miracle that Hillary is only 150 delegates down. If the Media hadn't done this to Hillary, she would have locked up the nomination on Feb. 5.

    Obama....modesty!!! Surely you jest.

Each day the reporting gets worse and worse.

  • Posted By: angie_nc @ 02/26/2008 6:46:39 PM

As a woman, this article is offensive. However, given the way the media has berated Hillary for the last year and given a free ride to Obama simply because they would rather have an inexperienced empty suit MALE in the job rather than a smart, intelligent FEMALE, I'm not surprised Newsweek wants to co-op Hillary's gender and present it to Obama on a silver platter -- "he's even more of a woman than Hillary! He cares more!" Hooey. Obama is for Obama and anyone who can't see that has been hoodwinked. Wake up people --Obama isn't the second coming -- he is a politician -- and, in fact, he is the worst kind of politician, because he tries to prentend he isn't one. And anyone who believes a person who isn't a politician would run for President of the United States of America is nuts.

I certainly do not think he is a "Woman President".. I feel sorry for us if he gets elected. We will have Farakhan running this country plus Iran, Cuba and on and on..

It is becoming increasingly clear that Obama supporters are easily the smartest people on the web. The ignorance of the Clinton supporters, and of the Republicans, says alot. Don't worry, Obama has a great plan to fix the education system, so you racist idiots can finally get the help you need! Tune in tonight and watch Obama put the nomination away, once and for all.

McCain androgenous, Clinton, manly ans Obama the new woman. Please do your readers a favor and choke hit your head on somehting hard. Equating policy with percieved sexuality is as hard to swollow as this super candidate who is just fine with drawing straws over the outcome of any matter. In other words the modern american president is a person without policy . I don't want my country run like it's just a bigger Harvard Law Review.

Give me a break. What has Obama articulated in the last 12 months to allow him to act so arrogant and snobby, Change???? Change from what? How's he going to do it folks? Oh, yes, we all have to change, right? Wrong. I'm happy to vote for those who articulate their vision, and plans to make positive change, like Senator Clinton, who's demonstrated over and over throughout her career just how to help those less fortunate and in need. The only thing Obama is banking on is that the men in this country will vote for a black man before a women for President. So, it's going to be telling to see who ends up with the nomination, and unless he explains his church's doctrine and what "recreating the African Nation from Diaspora" means to the masses, I'll never vote for him. In my opinion he's an arrogant man, and I've disliked that in politicians all my life. Hillary, hang in there! Miracles can happen!

Amen! Thank you, kriegermrs, couldn't have said it better myself. Wake up from your trance, Obama suporters, before you DO end up with him as the Democratic nominee!
