She is undeniably resilient. But it seems that Hillary Clinton is often recovering from her campaign's self-inflicted wounds.

Comment: The latest polls suggest that about 54% of Americans do not trust Hillary. And she really thinks that she will be elected to the oval office. KEEP DRINKING THE KOOL-AID HILLARY, KEEP DRINKING THE KOOL-AID!!!!
Comment: Hillary is such a joke it's laughable. The notion that she would be great as president of this country is ridiculous! What, 8 years of Bill Clinton in the Whitehouse was not enough? Please, how many scumbags do we have to have? Hillary is delusional if she thinks that she will become president. How many fairy tales will we be subjected to? She needs to step aside and go back home to arkansas. PLEASE, LET'S MAKE ONE THING CLEAR--SHE IS NOT A NEW YORKER!!!!!! She is an opportunist to the fullest and will always seek the best situation. It will be so nice to finally sink the ship she is so desperately trying to keep afloat.
Comment: HILLARY CLINTON THE MAN FOR ALL AGES?
HILLARY CLINTON CAN'T HAVE WHAT SHE WANTS THE MOST------------MALE GENITALIA!
109 MILLION CAN'T BUY EVERYTHING.
HILLARY CLINTON WANTS TO BE SHOWN AS A GREAT LEADER, A COMMON POOR FOLK, A MILITARY GENIUS !
WITHOUT A DOUBT THIS MUST BE WHY SHE HAS TO LIE, EMBELLISH, MIS-SPOKE.
SHE LACKS ACTUAL KNOWLEDGE. FIRST LADY DOES NOT QUITE COUNT AS PRESIDENTIAL TRAINING.
SHE HAS BEEN IN THE DIRT TOO OFTEN, AND HAS LOTS OF BAGGAGE---------STILL DOES NOT QUALIFY HER AS EXPERIENCED.
HILLARY CLINTONS GREATEST ASSET HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE ABILITY TO LIE AND DECEIVE.
SLICK WILLIE AND SLICK HILLARY---------QUITE A PAIR !
Comment: I BELIEVE THE FIRST DIRTY TRICK PLAYED OUT IN CAMPAIGN, WHEN HILLARY HIRED GUYS TO WEAR
SIGNS TELLING HER TO GO BACK TO THE KITCHEN or SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES.
HILLARY WANTED TO GET FEMALE SUPPORT BY MAKING HERSELF LOOK LIKE A VICTIM.
THE ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION, WHEN SHE GOT ALL CHOCKED UP WAS SECOND ATTEMPT TO BE BETRAYED AS VICTIM.
NOW SHE JUST MAKES FUN OF ANYTHING SHE CAN TO MAKE OPPONENT LOOK BAD.
SHE IS A REAL ***-HEAD.
Comment: Hillary wants to resume the discrimination campaign against firearms owners threw the Clinton ban on semi-automatic firearms ..and release crack addicts from prison?
AND she wants us to believe she's not crazy?
Comment: IT IS REALLY NICE TO SEE HILLARY CLINTONS LIES COME TO LIGHT.
Comment: faminchin... every article can't be in favor of Clinton.
I just hope she doesn't cause self-inflicting wounds on the country (and the party). Vote OBAMA.
Comment: I hope she doesn't cause self-inflicting wounds on the country. Vote OBAMA.
Comment: Is there any doubt that Newsweek and the people that work there want to see Mr. Obama elected president? I'd say after reviewing this week's edition, there is only one thing you guys could do to best this week..........take a cover shot of all the employees, with the headline..."Vote For Obama". Looking at Newsweek makes that Saturday Night Live skit look like reality instead of humor! Seriously, there are more support Obama stories on this site than all the other news going on around the world all put together. What a JOKE!
Comment: I say again & I will say it again...Obama's supporters writes nothing but hate & crap on every blog....nothing surprising as they are probably influence from the same hatred speech of Rev Wright.
Comment:
Boy this is getting rich.
here is what we do you make this film(video) and we'll get it distributed across the air waves and cyber space (of course we'll need a patsy who we can blame it on) and then we'll yank it and I'll fire the patsy and then I'll apologize to Barack Obama.. which will make me look like the good guy but we will have planted the vile seed and then we will just sit back and watch it fester. that is a great plan not original but effective
suspended, SUSPENDED Thats it.
Well let us just slap his PP it will sting for a lttle while but then we'll make it up to him and get him back onboard for more foul play. don't you just love politics this is so much fun.
From The Politico.com
An aide to John McCain was suspended from the campaign today for blasting out an inflammatory video that raises questions about Barack Obama's patriotism.
Soren Dayton, who works in McCain's political department, sent out the YouTube link of "Is Obama Wright?" on twitter at 12:31 today with the tag, "Good video on Obama and Wright." It has since been taken down.
Twitter is an online device that allows users to send out short messages and links en masse through computers or PDAs.
First of all the video is pretty lame and not very well put together (imo) secondly, from what I can tell, Soren Dayton had absolutely nothing to do with production of this video which was easily found on YouTube and disseminated all around the internet blogs and email blasts today! Also as noted above Soren was not working in a communications capacity for the McCain Campaign, which in my mind, makes his suspension extremely ridiculous!!!
It may be the result of ignorance on the part of the campaign management being so technologically impaired that twitter, feeds, and the rest are so completely over their collective heads that suspension was a default ruling until such time they could figure out what exactly went on here.
Of course you can guess my problem with this... The McCain camp has shown an utter lack of testicular fortitude in this instance. The ease in which they acquiesced and rolled over is exactly what I was afraid of with a McCain nominee. I realize you have to pick your battles but caving so fast on something so minor, in this instance, looks cowardly.
This is PrimeTime Politics and if your not willing stand by the people who are supporting you over something that's tantamount to forwarding an email... I say you may not posses the ruthlessness and the stones it takes to make the tough decisions to be commander-in-chief.
Comment: "I think they tell her not to show her emotion because that looks like 'you're afraid'," she says. "Look how criticized she gets for things you never criticize a man about ??? her moods, her emotions, how she's looking, what she's wearing, her laugh."
Except Mitt Romeny. Where is he now?

Comment: Former First Lady's paper to go public. GOOD FOR YOU HILLARY!!! We need to be seen as the "PARTY OF INTEGRITY"!
I realize that this is a little off subject, BUT IT'S STILL A VERY HOT TOPIC!
Attention Hillary and Obama's camp: We need to put a STOP to all this revote or do-over nonsense (Florida/Michigan) that the media is playing up. Important side note to all you Floridians!
Re: Florida Revote
KUDOS TO ALL FLORIDIANS! The power of the "PEOPLE" and a handful of honest Democratic politicians prevailed! Thank you for NOT succumbing to the intense pressure of the "Washington Insider Club" (Establishment). After what happen in 2000, God forbid we have another Florida voting scandal ... only this time by means of "DO-OVER" mail-in fraud.
Good for you Floridians! Shame on you Michigan Power Players!!
I know that it's NOT the average Floridians fault---nor the average folk from Michigan---I blame the powers that be in both those states for not taking care of business with the DNC when they should have. They should have worked out their differences with the DNC BEFORE their respective primary's.
THEY CAN'T CHANGE THE RULES NOW!!!
I don't care how close the race is right now. Somehow ... someway a winner will be declared without DO-OVER's in Florida and Michigan. With all the DO-OVER talk and Super Delegate controversy, our primaries are starting look like a three-rink circus. C'mon my fellow Dems!
All you folks in Michigan speak up! Refuse to take part in these bogus DO-OVER'S, it's causing embarrassment to our party. Again, I know it's not your fault, but do the right thing like Florida. Just sit it out until the General Election. Then come back STRONG! RECORD NUMBER TURNOUT!!!
As a party, we need to "UNITE" and be seen on the World Stage as the party of INTEGRITY! We need to rise above ANY and ALL suspicions of voter fraud and/or manipulation.
Without that! I really don't see us beating the Republicans come November.
Hillary/Obama 2008! OR Obama/Hillary 2008
I don't care which name comes first! LET'S UNITE NOW, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!
Florida and Michigan SHOULD just split the pledged delegates 50-50. PERIOD!
GOOO DEMS!!!

Comment: A blogger named Edson writes "Did the word Democrat really come from democracy?"
Here is a derivation of the words "Democrat" and "Republican."
The United States of America is a republic, that is to say, a Federal government in which the people are represented by elected officials from the various states. Before we were a republic, we were a democracy made up of 13 individual states that were not united. A democracy is a form of government where the individual citizens have the right to speak their minds and influence the political discourse. Democracy was named after Demosthenes, a citizen of ancient Greece with a speech impediment who practiced talking with his mouth full of pebbles to overcome his disability. Demosthenes later became a great political orator. This is where the Democrats derive their name.
The original Republicans were in favor of the states joining to form a republic (which is how that party got it's name). The original Democrats were opposed to this idea, they represented the individual states and were worried that the republic could gain too much power over the states, and through the exercise of tyranny, deny individuals their freedom. Trust me, people were pretty passionate about their liberty in those days, having just fought for independence from England. The Declaration of Independence, the Federalist Papers, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights were all hammered out by serious-minded men who sought to balance the need for individual freedom with our shared common cause, the needs for united strength and social order. Balancing the rights of the individual against the rights of the whole society is what America is all about. This is not only a great achievement for our nation, it is one of the greatest achievements of mankind. And we have, by and large, been true to our ideals over the past 227 years. The system of government we initially established, although needing occasional revisions, has stood the test of time.
Let's not forget where we started from, that impulse towards equality and freedom.
America is, with all it's faults, a meritocracy. Most of our founding fathers would never have had a voice in the 18th century English government they rebelled against, a monarchy where you had to be born into power. In America it was different. If you had intelligence, passion, ambition, drive, talent and a little luck, you could change the world.
This is the real secret to Obama's popularity. This is why a white, conservative middle-aged female Republican like me wants to vote for him. He's got that blend of intelligence, passion, ambition, drive and talent. I'm giving him my vote to proffer him the last ingredient, a little luck, so I can watch our Republican Democracy in action, and once again change the world.

Comment: To dchappy-- Clean up the language and lighten-up. You need to think about changing your name to dccynical or something... Just be happy to live in a country where Cintonistas and cynics like your self can be heard in a free debate of issues. Lets keep it positive. Go OBAMA!
Comment: What comes around goes around and when it's dung it smells. Hillary knows she is dead in the water and McCain is just treading it. Carl Rove thinks he has control over this election but the one thing he didn't figure he would have to compete with is the America people. WE are standing up in great numbers at every primary and the totals are growing at an incredible rate. Way to go everybody lets keep it up and take our country back! It must be a large majority in November or we will not have what we so desperately need, Change!
People in the pocket, you can see the buldge but you can't quite make out the profile.

Comment: We, Obama supporters fight everyday to make this campaign about hope, judgment, and bringing people together. This is has been the hardest day to be optimistic. Much harder than canvassing in Tom Delay's precinct in Texas. We forge ahead knowing that we are campaigning against powerful interests and legacies. The HRC campaign is no longer a foe or a threat. They push the capacity of reason and gamble a generation of young voters and independents down a perilous road. Be strong and get involved. ==Hope Action Change== >
Comment: Senator Clinton has no one to blame for herself. She's run a lousy campaign and its probably a reflection of how she would run the country. She's been outsmarted and outhussled by a newcomer at every turn. You're right that she is her own worst enemy but of late her desperate and divisive tactics threaten to bring down our party. In fairness she has been a good senator for NYS . . . lets keep her there.
Comment: Hillary Clinton is a scary cuss. She so reminds me Richard M. Nixon. Both determine to win. Both putting self over others. Both determine to have power. Both not trusting the press. Both involved in extremely shady acts - example: Nixon - Watergate; Clinton - White Papers. Both feeling that they are above the law. Both dealing in secrecy. Compare them - it's scary. Look at the legal investigations about her. Do we want another Nixon in the White House? I doubt it! If it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, it's a duck. The only difference between Nixon and Hillary Clinton is gender and party affiliation! Remember how Nixon screwed the American people! Hillary will do the same. She only cares about power and self and will cut anybody off at the knees who does not agree with her and who is not loyal to her!
Comment: I just want to know if Hillary owns a dress. I'm tired of seeing her in pants. Not that she has to wear a dress all the time, but surely a dress will disprove her being Bill in drag.

Comment: I AM AMAZED TO FIND THE MAJORITY OF THE PRINYING MEDIA AND ELECTRONIC MEDIA ALONG WITH THE PEOPLE WHO ALL SEAT WITH THE DEMOCRATE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES IN THE DEBATE WITH QUESTION TO BOTH CLEARLY SHOWS A TILT TOWARDS OBAMA. BUT WHY ? FOR THE LAST FEW DAYS I HAD BEEN WRITING ABOUT "MOSADS" DIRTY SECRET GAME IN USA POLITICS INITIALLY IS PUBLISHED AND THEN WHEN IT IS VIEWED BY THESE "MOSA" ON MONITERING THE COMMENTS JUST VANISHES. I FIND MOST OF THE TIME THE CLINTONS ARE NEGATIVELY PROTRATED AND OBAMA IS PUBLISHIIED MORE ELOQUENTLY THAN HE DESERVED. THE QUESTION IS WHY? WITH WHAT AIMS AND OBJECTIVES. DOES IT NOT PROVE THAT IT AIMS AT KILLING TWO BIRD WITH ONE SHOT. THAT IS HAVE THE TWO FIGHT EACH OTHER IF ANY ONE COME WINNER SHOULD BE A SUPPORTER AND RELIABLE TO ISRAEL AND THE OTHER ID IF IT FAILS THEN REPUBLICAND WAR PRISIONER TO BECOME THE PRESIDENT. LATELY TO DAMAGE THE REPUTATION OF THE DEMOCRATES THIS MOSAD ENSURED SPITZER FAKE STORY WITH SPITZER UNDER LIFE THREATH AND WITH THE HELP OF CIA TAPE.. AS BUSH ACTED FOR ISRAEL UNDER LIFE THREAT OF "MOSAD". INDEED ISRAEL IS A GREAT FRIEND OF BILL AND HIS WIFE HILLARY AND THEIR GREAT ONCE UPONE A TIME PRIME MINISTER TONY NOW A PET OF BUSH AND OLMERT. IF THIS TIME AND SON OF INCEST GROUP AND MOSAD ELLIMINATE MY COMMENT I WILL VENTILATE THE MATTER IN ALL MY WRITING THROUGHOUT THE WORLD " THAT I WROTE THE ABOVE COMMENT AND THE EDITOR ON NEWSWEEK INDER PRESSURE FROM THE PROPIETOR A MOSAD AGENT ERAISED MY COMMENT". I ACCUSE THE CNN AND ALSO THE COMMENTOR . IT IS ONE PERSON UNDER VARIOUS FAKE WRITES COMMENT COVERING THE PAGES AS HIS MASTER TELLS HIM TO WRITE . WHAT A GREAT CHEAT THESE PEOPLE ARE. D C HAPPY
Comment: What are you saying?????????????????????????????????????
Comment: For someone who claims to represent diversity & inclusion, she excludes virtually everyone that is not in her own demographic.
Funny how Bill is now on a leash & is not allowed to speak to the press. Chelsea does not speak to the press either although Hillary has them both on the campaign trail to influence and Glad-hand potential voters & delegates and yet there is no access to them. Why does the campaign squelch them so?
Comment: Hillary doesn't denounce Ferraro's comments. This is typical Clinton race baiting, sneaky, tactics to fill the uneducated minds with thoughts of prejudice. Bill started it in South Carolina. It went on with the picture of Obama in native dress, the darkening of pictures, the 3 am "boogey man", and now the Ferraro debacle. I voted Democrat this year because I thought my Bush pick was the right thing to do last time. I obviously made a mistake. I have done my homework this time and have come to realize that Obama has been the only candidate (MCcain is an extension of Bush politics) with class, judgement and intelligence. Their are two types of experience in life. Trial and error (Bush way, not recommended), and education (learn from previous successes and failures). I believe Obama will do the latter and attempt to fix the USA.
Comment: I am not willing to "go with the unknown". Way too much is at stake. I feel Obama is not only unknown but what we do know is " what he wants us to know" I get a feeling that he is just too good to be true. I make a poiint to be very observant of the little things that to me are HUGE.
I was an Obama fan in the beginning. He impressed me with his speech at the Democratic convertion and he seemed smart enough to get the job done.
Then I happened to see some video of him arriving at a hotel before he spoke to a crowd of people. A small
woman was walking beside him carrying a stack of books and papers cradled in her left arm and in her right hand bags with handles. Obama was on her right side and had nothing to carry. It crossed my mind why he didn't offer to lighten her load but I dismissed it since he probably had his speech on his mind. As they approached the double doors that they were to enter, Obama stopped and waited until she shifted the load in her right hand to her left so she could open the door for him. That did it . That told me SO much. Then the most tell tale part was at the last two debates, when he held the chair for Hillary at the end. Gentlemen are not gentlemen only when they know they are on camera.
I get a very bad feeling when I think about this phoney in the White House. Hillary has my vote and if she is not the democratic nominee, I will vote Republican.
Be careful what "Change " you ask for.
Comment: Not so fast there. A PAID staff member is hired to do a job. Some people ONLY open doors, other ONLY carry things, and this one apparently was PAID to do both.
Comment: GEEEESSSSHH!!! American American!!!! What is wrong with you all??? The time of lost is when we are low in power. I remeber reading the American Revolution, and when the "AMERICANS" fought witht he British, they knew how to team up, and that is how we have AMERICA!!!! What's wrong with everyone??? Clinton is not as bad as everyone here thinks, and Obama is not as good as everyone here says...Everyone has their good times, and bad times, and of course they did do something wrong when they were younger, but that doesn't mean everyone can pick on them....Clinton won in Ohio and Texas because she tried her best, ad she lost the others because there was a mistake somewhere in her campaign, and same goes to Obama...Wether one wins or lose, all democrats should stand up and vote againist McCain, if you guys really hate Bush and the GOP. Common Sense towards everyone here...I guess it's not just Clinton and Obama who's being childish. but everyone here is too!!! Instead of going foward, I guess America is going backwards towards childhood. What ever Bill Clinton did during his 8 years has nothing to do with Hillary...I think she's been the best First Lady so far, because even though her husband cheated on her with Monica, she is still hanging on to her family and her husband and everyone should give her credit for that... It is not right how everyone would keep talking about Bill's wrongs, and putting her in it. It was his doings, not hers...She's been very strong and everyone should understand her feelings. If you had a cheating spouse, I bet you would have left him/her already....Compared to Hillary...She stayed strong side by side with her husband even though it twas tough for her, and that's what we need in America...Someone who is strong at heart, and not just plain silly strong...We need someone who is willing to stand for America during the hard times, and not just me, but EVERYONE in America has seen that Hillary has done that with her husband, and she can do it for America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ---------------Common Sence To America
Comment: you know it really does not matter to me which one of the Democratic runners win. any kind of change is better than what we have now. I am sick and tired of the bigot, liying, not wanting to listen to the American people I have my own agenda Republicans. I welcome any change that put the power back to the people. I am willing to go with the unknown, than what I have to deal with at the moment. We are all hard working peolpe and our tax dollars are being sent oversees and we are to accept that. it is unacceptable for us as American to be treated as second class citizens, because the Republicans have their own agenda. have a nice day.
Comment: Senator Obama is man of real character and ethics unlike his opponent, " The Hill", who is combative and despicable. Being a man of integrity does not mean he is unable to handle a crisis in a disaster. Senator Obama is far above " The Hill's" attacks and inuendos. He does not have to reduce himself to her level to prove himself worthy to become President.
"Hillary in the White House is an intelligent George Bush wearing a dress."
Comment: AMEN to what you said re: "THE HILL" being an "intelligent" Bush wearing a dress!!
Comment: You know it really does not matter which one of he democratic runnres win. it would be better than what we've had to deal with for the pass eight years. Peolpe are so got up in what someone did in the pass and how much experience is invovle. anything is better than those bigot, liying, not wanting to listen to the american people I have my own agenda republican.......... WE DEFINITELY NEED SOME KIND OF Change, something is better than what we got now. I am willing to go deal with the unknown.
Comment: I have spent the last 8 years trying to figure out what the Democratic party is thinking. First in 2000, we had Al Gore, sure he was charming, but he was as vindictive as Hillary Clinton. No wonder George Bush won. Then there was John Kerry who was not strong enough to defend himself. Now we have Hillary Clinton who is as nasty and vindictive as can be. The Republicans will have a field day in November regardless of who the Democratic candidate will be. Clinton???s tactics towards Obama???s campaign are just down right childish and these tactics will cost the democratic party in November - after all, he is the democratic front runner. And as democratic as I am, I really do not want her in the White House. If she is going to run the White House the way she runs her campaign, I would rather put another Republican in charge. Barak Obama has an organized campaign, he is appealing and charming and moreover, he has vision, something my generation and younger generations need. I hope Pennsylvania tells Hillary Clinton to go home on April 22.
Comment: Looking at it via the lens of my experience as a manager, some things I notice are:
1. She's a micromanager
My take: Not good in the long run, as you sweat the small stuff and miss out on the ability to develop a vision and a mission for the team to execute against
2. She likes to have a team with differing/conflicting personalities
My take: Has the potential to be effective. However, is a big management task, esp. to not let things get out of control. Again potential for distraction from moving forward and ahead.
3. She's tough
My take: That's a good trait as an individual. As a manager, and more especially as a leader, an important trait. But depends on how that toughness is utilized. If positively, very effective. If negatively, will come back to bite you.
Hillary would be what I would call an Individual Contributor. ie someone with strong skills who is most effective in a non-managerial role.
Which leads me back to my original thinking. That she should continue as a Senator.
Comment: Hillary doesnt care about anyone but Hillary.... POWER... NO MORE CLINTONS!
Anybody remember Ollie North.... Bill was in office then wasnt he?
Comment: No. Ollie North and the Iran/Contra scandal occured during President Reagan's second term.
Comment: Actually no, Ollie North and the Iran/Contra scandal occured during President Reagan's second term.
Comment: As a long time democrat I know if the choice in November is between Clinton and McCain I will vote foir McCain...Clinton reminds me of a fish monger and her husband worries me a great deal...think he believes he is being re elected president and she would have to struggle against that her entire career.
Comment: Self inflicted indeed.... I wish she would just talk about what she is going to do for our country instead she just wants to banter with the opponent about what she has done in the west wing... I cant stand this negative campaining crap, and whats worse the media keeps shoving down our throats... enough already.
This country is in trouble.... and if either Barrack and Clinton goin to raise our taxes... Help! Hillary just go away. Barrack isnt much better... never voted while sitting in his seat... he was just presesnt... great! evasive... McCain, Well I guess he's it ... I'd like another choice... Hillary will get us in to another war with that mouth of hers... NO MORE CLINTONS.... PLEASE!
Comment: Hillary just needs to go away.... Please! Earmarks, Earmarks.... She like a prosecutor... buddy you up and then when your not looking .... stick it to ya. The taxpayers in this case. Between the two, I'll take Barrack... even though I dont much care for him either. He never voted on anything sitting in his seat other then just being present... Great... evasive... McCain well... ok If I have to. "Can I buy a vowel" I'd like another choice please. This country is in for a world of hurt... Hang on!
Comment: Any so-called democrat who PUBLICLY says that a republican is more qualified to be president than her democratic opponent is obviously thinking more about her interests and gains than those of the party. Thus, it can be concluded that in Hillary's eyes, it is far more important ror HER to win in November than it is for the democratic party to win in November. That is, in my opinion, an example of the divisiveness that she is so famous for. The obvious question then becomes, how can someone who is so divisive in her own party unite the country and secure enough votes to win in November?
Comment: Brownize is obviously caught up in a rhetorical Obama fever, ignorant of actual politics. Ayeaga obviously believes anything they are told if they think Hilary's first health bill's failure was her fault...(not only is her new bill far superior, but the old bill was incomplete because of other politics that she had nothing to do with.
Obama is nothing more than a puppet fad, made popular by easily impressionable youth and voters who think that political education and paid for education is the same thing.
Comment: I find it amazing how many Clinton supporters de-humanize those who support Barack Obama. I voted for Obama in the TX primary and caucus; I take exception to fairly constantly being referred to as "ignorant of actual politics", or that I'm an "easily impressionable youth"or a "Obamabot" or "Obamaniac" or some other derisive term. Now, there's twits supporting every candidate in an election but good grief, Clinton supporters, please accept that many people support Barack Obama for President for sound, well considered, thoughtful reasons. I assume many supporters of Hillary Clinton are thoughtful and intelligent people, I just disagree with them on who the better candidate is. I think they are wrong. That doesn't mean I think they are morons, or mindless drones, or cult followers. All of which I've been called simply because I am a supporter of Barack Obama. Gah, I've not seen such partisan twittery since the New England Patriots were 16-0 and the message boards were full of the blather of the Patriots fans.

Comment: With the new revelations about the New York governor, maybe Obama's supporters should go on the attack about those 3AM calls Hillary took in the White House. "Hello Hillary, this is Monica (or pick a name Jennifer..etc.), can I speak to Bill". Her experience in the White House might take a sudden turn pretty soon. She should analyze what she is doing to destroy the party in the eyes of the Nation, not her own self gain that seems to be a family trait.
Comment: The Clintons lose, in electability and eligibility.
Obama is much more suited to be our POTUS, and I believe that he can react and respond to a crisis much more intelligently than the Clintons, AKA the "Teflon Team".
The Clintons failed to protect our country when they were POTUS. They failed to put the security of our country ahead of their own personal agendas. The Clintons failed: they had least eight to ten opportunities during their eight years in the W/H to catch Osama bin Laden. The top-secret documentation covering the Clinton Administration handling of terrorism threats was MISSING from the National Archives. That documentation would have been extremely valuable in determining how 9/11 COULD HAVE/SHOULD HAVE been prevented during the Clinton Administration. Sandy Berger was Bill's National Security Advisor, had access to the Archive vaults, and now has been selected by Hillary Clinton to be on her National Security Advisor team. How safe would we be under the Clintons? Follow their trail of corruption, then you'll say: NO NO NO CLINTONS, NO NO NEVER AGAIN!
Comment: Sorry, I'm a middle aged white female professional who has felt the glass ceiling, but I can't identify with Hillary or with Geraldine Ferraro AT ALL. Ferraro's recent racist comments regarding Obama's skin color are despicable. And though I can fully appreciate what Hillary has accomplished, I have to disapprove of what she has done to get there. Not even mentioning the many shady deals in the Clintons' past, or Bill's out-of-control libido, I am appalled by what Hillary is doing to the Democratic party right now. It's a power play she should be ashamed of, her attitude of "take no prisoners and seize power at any cost." She insists on taking this to the superdelegate level and cutting a back room deal that disenfranchises the actual voters is a reprehensible replay of the 2000 Bush/Gore debacle.
The problem with stealing elections is that it opens the door for a political free-for-all in which the individual voter's ballots have no meaning and elections are only for show. That's called fascism, dictatorship, or communism (take your pick). It certainly is not democracy. So, even though I'm a feminist, I can't be swayed by feminist rhetoric when I see crimes against the American people being committed in the name of "girl power." I want a female President too. But consider how damaging it will be to women's future chances in politics, if our first female commander in chief is hated by the people for her skulduggery and election fraud.
And remember how Geraldine Ferraro's cheating on her taxes KILLED women's political chances at the Presidency until now, 25 years later. I don't want to give away the next 25 years to Hillary Clinton's mistakes.
Oh, yeah, Hillary hasn't released her tax returns yet. Are you old enough to remember what happened to Ferraro's candidacy after she released her tax returns? She got flushed down the toilet, and with her went the dreams of millions of American women.
Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll still be alive in 25 years, when Obama's daughter will run for President.
Comment: If Ferraro doesn't resign because of her comments, then miss Powers should keep on rooting for Obama on the sidelines. I serve in the military and I see the double standards that women receive on the sole basis of gender. I am starting to see the double standards the media is covering this election coverage. Lets stay away from poor miss Hillary, but darkening, pictures, fear mongering based on subtle (or not so subtle)racial lines, and false characterizations of a mans religous background is fair game. I do not consider Hillary a man nor woman. She is the "monster".
Comment: Self-inflicted... Yes, lies get found out sooner or later. Even foreign leaders are now saying she did none of the things she claims to have done.

Ironically, our allies, Israel, India and Pakistan have refused to sign the NPT. Israel???s 200 nuclear warheads are presently in Dimona site in the Negev since 1958. Comment: Hillary may have spent 8 years in the White House, but so did Laura Bush. And Chelsea Clinton.
Comment: Good Point! So did Buddy
Comment: Wow, it's really interesting to see so many Hillary supporters still claiming that Senator Obama is hiding some shady past or wrong-doings. Honestly, if you think there was anything in his past that could hurt him, don't you think Hillary's campaign team would have found it and used it by now??
Comment: To Obama, offering you the VP, spot she was generous, a genius, who is brilliant, she is a woman, who is trying to reverse the stigma of a male dominated society , they come, one in a billion, you refused claiming you are ahead, a little math so far you have at most a 20% of the national vote, come Nov. The most you might get is little more then 30 or even 40%, and you will be an also runner up.
To Hilary, It happens once, in many centuries, the coincidence, of having a mate of the same caliber, the result, it might, also, produce the next generation, Chelsea, in 8 years, and she will finish liberating, all races. You can call this a dynasty of intelligence.
Comment: Hillary Clinton is past tense. The Clintons were a team, but Hillary is unwilling to accept shared responsibility, she wants to pick out the plums and leave the pits. History contains the sad, undeniable facts of their many shady deals that have changed our country forever. They had too much power, too many wealthy influential ???friends??? that would not betray them. The words ???I do not recall??? were constantly repeated during the Clintons many trials of denials. The "Teflon Team" avoided responsibility for their acts, thanks to friends in high places. Want a repeat performance?? Don???t let them go for Act III. No curtain calls, this time the curtain falls and if the Clintons finally ???get smart???, they will leave it at that. The Clintons have some bad history, don???t believe the Clinton???s myth that Bill is loved and respected throughout the world. The person handing out the ???donations??? may be greeted with smiles, but the needy do what they have to do (smile for the cameras). What makes you think that the rest of the world is going to develop ???Clinton Amnesia???? The power of the Presidency would be reduced; some nations find it beneficial to ???know thy enemy???. The Clintons have diminished power today; some nations (either friendly or unfriendly) may regard them with camouflaged contempt. Some dire mistakes made during the Clinton reign changed not just our country, but world history. In 1994, Clinton hushed up a federal report warning of possible terrorist strikes Acts of terrorism were committed during the Clinton terms, but the focus was elsewhere. The documentation requested by the 9/11 commission turned up MISSING. From the National Archives, where Sandy Berger, who was Clinton???s National Security Advisor, was noticed with papers stuffed in his socks. He got away with it, and we will never know the truth of the Clinton Administration handling of terrorism threats prior to 9/11. We need a President willing to accept responsibility and act for the good of our country, not for the profits of corporations. We need a president who can command respect, provide transparency, and end partisanship. One who ???owes no favors??? and will appoint those who truly are the most qualified to fill government posts.

Comment: Dear Debunked, thank you very much for your intelligent and reasonably stated questions. I'll answer the ones I know the answers to. Obama's 1,082 bills in the Senate have mostly not been passed, which is typical when the Senator is a junior member of the minority party. Clinton has introduced about the same number of bills as Obama, and very few of hers have been passed, again because she is a junior member of the minority party. I know that Clinton is a hard worker and I didn't imply otherwise, I was only trying to answer the people who say that Obama is inexperienced.
If you want the details on the kind of change Obama wants to bring about, please visit his website and read his book The Audacity of Hope. This book also discusses his work on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and his awareness of how the emerging global economy can work to our advantage instead of rob us of our wealth and power. There are lots of details available there. Unfortunately, good policies, especially new ones, don't conveniently shrink wrap down into effective sound bites. It is up to us as Americans to look deeper into the candidate's positions, all of the candidates, so we can make informed decisions.
And if you want to know "the real man behind the rhetoric" you should read Obama's autobiography. Please also read Hillary's autobiography. Then ask yourself which one seems more honest and authentic.
You asked me if I am part of the Obama "camp." I am an Obama supporter, but I'm not an Obama employee or volunteer. I am a middle-aged white female Republican MD, and a fairly conservative person. I have voted Republican all of my life except once, when I voted for Carter out of disgust at the mess Nixon had made. I voted for Geo. W. Bush in 2000, but again I became seriously disenchanted with the GOP because of they way they strong armed the elections and used the Bush-appointed Supreme Court to "legally" divest Gore of his Presidency. That was not democracy in action, and the problem with "stealing" elections is that it opens the door for a political free-for-all in which the individual voter's ballots have no meaning and elections are only for show. That's called fascism/dictatorship/communism (take your pick). However, I was planning to vote Republican this year too, but I took the time to read all of the candidates' books and websites, and much to my surprise I found that Obama was the best candidate in either party, so now he has my support and my vote. But if in November the race is McCain vs. Clinton, I will be all for McCain, as will many Independents and cross over Republicans who have rallied around Obama.
I hope I answered your questions. Thanks for posing them politely.
Comment: TO NINS: Thank you for taking the time to politely respond to my post. With all due respect, autobiographies are usually very subjective. The last thing I would ever want to do is base my vote on reading someone's autobiography especially a vote this important.
None of my questions have been answered but that's ok.
I just look at it like this...... We all know Clinton, for better and for worse, we know her. There is still a lot about Obama that is unknown and things he simply will not elaborate on. I have not found one Obama supporter who will tackle the unknown and questionable issues. Instead, I receive responses that are similar to yours. (And I am not trying to be cynical). OR responses totally attacking Clinton.
In a sense, I feel the same as you. If the nominees are McCain and Obama, I will vote for McCain as well.
Again, thank you for being polite!
Comment: Very well written. You have expressed my feelings exactly. Questions regarding Obama's experience can be answered via his website or his book entitled "The Audacity of Hope". There are no unknowns. If there were skeletons, Hillary surely would have found them by now. Just because we know all about Hillary's skeletons, well, that's not enough of a reason for me to vote for her. I'd like a little integrity, please.
Comment: The Clinton campaign takes all the fun out of dysfunctional.
Comment: Conjuring the image of a "semen-stained blue dress" offers a peek into the billious, bottom-feeding sapprophyte of an editor you have become. Irreverent and disgraceful, your insights into a fellow human being, Hillary Rodham Clinton, reflect the misanthropic musings of a rather privileged yet second rate author of a few overrated books. You have two daughters, sir, and one is inclined to ponder whether you would use such disdainful phraseology as "semen-stained" to describe your daughters' development from adolescents into grown women. One should relect upon his lack of restraint and literary objectivity; tether his resignation from Newsweek; and consider using one's law degree to redeem himself by advocacy done without compensation for the public good. Comment: That's what it was.....Monica Lewinsky's dress was stained with Bill Clinton's "semen". What does that have to do with a girl maturing into a woman???

Comment: evan do you really believe that you could possibly write a fair and nonbiased piece. No of course not, you work for GE. Same old BS. After this is all over and Hillary wins I really hope she reinstates the fairness doctrine to inlcude this rag and the cable media, because you and other supposed journalist's have turned the meaning of the 4th estate into a joke, tabloid trash.
Comment: I recall Pres. Ronald Reagan, when he was still a professional actor, back in the 60s on the Ed Sullivan Show advertising GE bulbs! NBC is owned by GE. That explains the pro-republican bias, not to mention the sexist attacks on Sen. Clinton!. Thanks!
Comment: you are a first class loser/fool/idiot/socialist whore no one cares what losers like you think, you are effectively drowned by the overwhelming opinions of the masses whom think everyone else cares what they think. The fairness doctrine is garbeage and so are you, socialist trash. If ever this great republican democracy (read the constitution) breaks down into civil war again, count on a war veterans like me to gun YOU down personally First. And by You I mean socialist drek eaters like you. Count on it loser, COUNT ON IT!!
Comment: If ever this great republican democracy (read the constitution) breaks down into civil war again, count on a war veterans like me to gun YOU down personally First.
I wonder what war you served in and how, after serving, you could glorify taking the life of child, woman or man. As the son a retied Lieutenant Colonel., objectively, your threats and name calling have no place in the ranks of respectable officers. One concludes that you are not an officer or a gentleman.
Comment: Dear Sir,
In response to your frightening calumny, I reiterate.
I wonder what war or wars you have served in, and how, after serving, you could glorify taking the life of a child, woman or man. As the son a retired Lieutenant Colonel, objectively, your threats and name calling have no place in the ranks of respectable officers. One concludes that you are not an officer or a gentleman. One also suggests that you expand your education, and clarity of speech. Po Win
Comment: dear general public
please excuse my employee .... i wish he would have checked before he used my account to write a post like that please forgive me
fhda23 i have not been in a war but my employee did serve over in iraq and afghanistan but that does not justify a response of that beligerance ........... and ..... harshness
and i just want to clarify that i did not write that post that was my employee
whether you believe me or not it doesnt matter but i still had to say that .... i do not agree with that kind of language or forcing my views on other people if you have any questions reply to my post and i will clarify any questions or concerns about the post
Comment: A few bloggers have expressed their belief that Obama is nothing but a media darling who has never done anything except give a rousing speech. In response to that' I'd like to note some of the many accomplishments on his resume. And remember he has done all of this as a black man whose family had no money, all on his own merit. Graduate of Harvard Law School, editor of Harvard Law Review, eight years as Illinois Senator, four years in US Senate, professor of Constitutional Law, leading expert on the US Constitution, has written two best sellers, has led a flawless campaign AND has galvanized people from all walks of life, bringing millions of new voters into the Democratic party (including me, a Republican). Wow, sounds to me like he's getting votes because he's a competent leader and an exceptional man.
During his US Senate tenure Obama has been a member of the Foreign Relations Committee and has made state visits to Afganistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Russia and Africa. He has introduced or co-sponsored 1,082 bills into the US Senate. And finally, read his book The Audacity of Hope and you will see that he is immensely intelligent, with a deep patriotic love of America and some real solutions to the problems of our modern world. His chapters on Religious Faith, Economics and Foreign Policy are amazing. Nothing Hillary has written can touch it.
You owe it to yourself to read the books written by each candidate, and to visit all of their websites. This is the only way to really know what the candidates are about, because getting your information from the media and from blogs guarantees that someone else's filter is coloring the data. See what each candidate has to say for themselves, then decide. I did this, and it convinced me, a dyed-in-the-wool middle aged white Republican, to vote for Obama. He really is an exceptional man, the type of politician that comes along only once in a hundred years.
Comment: This is a very well written narrative. I am sure Obama appreciate your support. You wouldn't happen to be apart of his camp now would you?
I believe Obama is a very intelligent and accomplished person. I NEVER thought he was not an accomplished man, there are just too many questionable things about him. I believe Obama's campaign has done very well! I also think the Media helped him tremendously and I also believe that many voters identified with his message of hope and change. But now the deeper questions comes in about the man NOT just the message....
What has he done during his time in the state and US senate to bring about this revoluntionary change that he states he will bring about to the country? What exactly does change means and how exactly is he going to bring about this change he talks about. Details please. What miraculous change has he accomplished that is in sinc with his message.
What exacly has he done as a member of the Foriegn Relations Committee? He should be able to use this position to tout as some kind of foriegn policy knowledge. Why hasn't he?
What exactly did he do when he went to these foriegn countries. He asks what Clinton did, I think it is a fair question to ask what he has done because again, I have not heard him say much of anything about this.
What was his exact role with the bills he introduced or co sponsored? Out of the 1,082 how many of them were successful?
I am NOT trying to be cynical but Obama has not done a good job at giving details about his qualifications. All I hear him say is that he was a community organizer for 20 years. What exactly does that mean? And what did he accomplish? He doesn't talk about these things in great detail. Why not?
Perhaps you can give specific details about the accomplishments that vastly imitate the change and hope he says he will bring to the White House and again how exactly his he going to bring about this miraculous change and what is the change? Details Details Details PLEASE!!
I also have a long list of questions about non political issues. Let me know if you are up for tackling them. There are just so many unknowns about Obama and he hasn't done a good job with explaining who he is. He has done a wonderful job at selling his idealism-----but he falls very short with being honest, upfront and open about the REAL man behind the Ideals and rhetoric!
Comment:
This will never happen, because, all the democrats, who would have voted for Hillary, will vote Republican.
Thus add 40% to the Republican vote, and they win, by a huge majority. It???s obvious!!!
Say 'HI' to the next First Family
Barack stands behind Kezia (stepmother) in a Kenyan family shot. (Including brother Abongo 'Roy' Obama who is a Luo activist and a militant Muslim who argues that the black man must 'liberate himself from the poisoning influences of European culture.'
'Abongo's new lifestyle has left him lean and clear-eyed, and at the wedding, he looked so dignified in his black African gown with white trim and matching cap that so many of our guests mistook him for my father,' Obama wrote in Dreams From My Father.
Comment: LITTLE ROCK -- Federal archivists at the Clinton Presidential Library are blocking the release of hundreds of pages of White House papers on pardons that the former president approved, including clemency for fugitive commodities trader Marc Rich.
The archivists' decision, based on guidance provided by Bill CLINTON that restricts the disclosure of advice he received from aides, prevents public scrutiny of documents that would shed light on how he decided which pardons to approve from among hundreds of requests.

Comment: Of course Senator Clinton has more expierence in answering a phone call at 3:AM in the white house. It usually said "Come pick up Bill".
Comment: Yes, doggedness and intense loyalty are trademark qualities Hillary and George W have in common. Amirable perhaps, if you are seeking a cure for cancer or filghting for equal rights for the disabled. Not so admirable when applied solely in service to their own personal ambition.
Comment: There are many female governors and US Senators in America; so a female President can't be all that far fetched. Only, that female CANNOT be Hilary Clinton.
Hilary Clinton represents the worse in females who would turn off real men.
And at the end of the day, it should be noted that, because females have NO NATURAL MEANS of imposing themselves on the more dominant masculine gender, FEMALES CAN HAVE NO POLITICAL POWER OF THEIR OWN SAVE THAT WHICH MALES wittingly/unwittingly GRANT OR ALLOW THEM!
If political power was natural to females, then there would have been relatively many female leaders throughout the long history of mankind, and not just a relatively freakish few.
It is ALWAYS going to be wiser and better choice for females to prop up males who will defend their cause. Barack Obama is such a male.
Also so at the end of the day, females are natural competitors .... for male attention.
Comment: "Her campaign, however, does not offer a model of good government. It has seemed to be afflicted with a siege mentality. The senator puts a great premium on loyalty, and she has kept a faithful coterie of advisers throughout the years. But two of her principal advisers, inherited from her husband's White House, cannot abide each other."
Sound like anyone we know? Hillary is the second coming of George Bush. Different side of the same coin.
Comment: Hill is fighting against the future and so there is no way for her to win.
It is the children of establishment Democrats who is now replacing the usual
lobbyist that have driven these old guards to go over the fence and dump NOW
and sister Hillary. The children are very smart in detecting which adults
are phony and they see Hill as a big phony. They see Barack as someone who
speaks from his heart and listened to them. When you are with the Clintons, it
is always them that is constantly talking. The only time Hill shuts her mouth
was when it is Bill who was talking and she would keep on nodding her head as
if she was the one who was talking too. Just watch her debate tactics, she
doesn't listen to rivals' answer and even grabs the time of rivals blatantly !
I don't know how old are your children, but they could be the secretly working
for Barack in overthrowing the Clinton machine, and you could be a casualty !
Comment: Bill is a well known mulligan of Presidential golf. Hill's attempt at rule
changes in the primary and making excuses for her series of defeat despite the
enthroned establishment support, makes her another mulligan. Thus I'm now
giving her a new name - Hillary Mulligan Clinton.
Comment: Hill's hiding of her Tax R
