Comment: I WANT TO FIX HILLARY CLINTON FOR STAYING WITH BILL WHEN SHE SHOULD HAVE DIVORCED HIM OVER:
    1. HIS ANTIMASTURBATION
    2. HIS CHEATING ADULTERY
ALSO IM AGAINST HER NOT LISTENING TO ME ABOUT VOTING AGAINST THE ANTI POKER BILL (PHONE CALLS, LETTERS) AND RECEIVING FUNDING FROM HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES WHEN THEY ARE ALREADY OVERCHARGING AND AGE DISCRIMINATING. I ALSO BELIEVE LIKE JOE LIEBERMAN THAT BILL CLINTON SHOULD HAVE BEEN IMPEACHED AFTER ILLEGALLY CHEATING ON HIS WIFE.

Comment: As for Cuba, to resolve differerences, you first have to talk.

If you don't believe this, I bet you have a sad marriage.

If you have ever lost a friend, I bet you never regained him/her.

People who refuse to communicate, don't progress.

Also, by posting an opinion here, trying to communciate, you show yourself ot be a hypocrite. :)

Comment: A blogger named Edson writes "Did the word Democrat really come from democracy?"

Here is a derivation of the words "Democrat" and "Republican."

The United States of America is a republic, that is to say, a Federal government in which the people are represented by elected officials from the various states. Before we were a republic, we were a democracy made up of 13 individual states that were not united. A democracy is a form of government where the individual citizens have the right to speak their minds and influence the political discourse. Democracy was named after Demosthenes, a citizen of ancient Greece with a speech impediment who practiced talking with his mouth full of pebbles to overcome his disability. Demosthenes later became a great political orator. This is where the Democrats derive their name.

The original Republicans were in favor of the states joining to form a republic (which is how that party got it's name). The original Democrats were opposed to this idea, they represented the individual states and were worried that the republic could gain too much power over the states, and through the exercise of tyranny, deny individuals their freedom. Trust me, people were pretty passionate about their liberty in those days, having just fought for independence from England. The Declaration of Independence, the Federalist Papers, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights were all hammered out by serious-minded men who sought to balance the need for individual freedom with our shared common cause, the needs for united strength and social order. Balancing the rights of the individual against the rights of the whole society is what America is all about. This is not only a great achievement for our nation, it is one of the greatest achievements of mankind. And we have, by and large, been true to our ideals over the past 227 years. The system of government we initially established, although needing occasional revisions, has stood the test of time.

Let's not forget where we started from, that impulse towards equality and freedom.

America is, with all it's faults, a meritocracy. Most of our founding fathers would never have had a voice in the 18th century English government they rebelled against, a monarchy where you had to be born into power. In America it was different. If you had intelligence, passion, ambition, drive, talent and a little luck, you could change the world.

This is the real secret to Obama's popularity. This is why a white, conservative middle-aged female Republican like me wants to vote for him. He's got that blend of intelligence, passion, ambition, drive and talent. I'm giving him my vote to proffer him the last ingredient, a little luck, so I can watch our Republican Democracy in action, and once again change the world.

    IN GOD WE TRUST

GREAT. How is Hillary going to create more jobs in Pittsburgh? As a senator of NY, she SOLD most jobs in Albany and Buffalo to a company in India. You are naive if you think any president can create jobs.

Comment: I have posted my name as "tired of obama" and after reading all of the pro Obama comments here is why:

    1. Obama says he will bring all of us together. That sounds good, but by making "inspirational" speeches, I am really very cynical of how he is going to bring us all together. Frankly, Obama just brings out a lot of empty rhetoric. I am not a fan of Hillary's either. I was actually more of a John Edwards fan because he actually gave us more concrete ideas of change.

    2. Obama says he is going to tackle special interests and that he is going to change Washington. This sounds like a page out of Jimmy Carter's playbook. Carter was a good man, but he was not a particularly effective president. Obama sounds just as naive.

    3. Obama is really just a big tax liberal.

    4. Obama wants to immediately pull out of Iraq. First, I was not for going to war in Iraq, but if we pull out now we will leave it behind to the real facsist Islamists. Secondly, after all of the casualties that resulted with the poor planning of Donald Romsfeld, we are actually having fewer casualties. We can't just pull out because it would leave behind a bigger mess.

    5. Obama wants to deal with dictators such as Castro's brother and Hugo Chavez. This is terribly naive. It will just make us more vulnerable. Making nice with dictators isn't as simple as offering to teach the world to sing, holding hands, and drinking a Coke.

Comment: This is my reply to jh35180. What has the U.S. accomplished by isolating Cuba? Nothing. A lot of countries have diplomatic relationships with Cuba. What have we accomplished by ignoring them? There would be a better chance of change in Cuba if we had dialogue with them. How come we can talk to the Chinese, North Koreans, but not the Cubans? This not make any sense at all.

Comment: As a lifelong Democrat, I assure everyone here that it will be a cold day in hell before I will ever vote for Hillary Clinton. She is a political hack that will do or say whatever is necessary to get elected. And may the world be damned in the process. If she is our party nominee, I will exercise one of two options: A. Vote for John McCain, B. Obstain from voting for president. I can honestly say that regardless of supporting either Hillary or Barack, this protracted nominating process will ultimately damage the Democratic nominee in November.

Comment: DISPATCHES FROM THE GROUND WAR ...

THE WALL STREET JOURNAL IS REPORTING ...

    Obama???s California Comeback

A little-noticed shift in the tally of California???s Democratic delegates may affect the primary between Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. Hillary Clinton as much as the heavily hyped results last Tuesday in Ohio, Texas, Vermont and Rhode Island.

Sen. Clinton won primaries in Ohio, Texas and Rhode Island, while Sen. Obama won the Vermont primary and appears likely to win the Texas caucus. For the day, Sen. Clinton is likely to trim fewer than 10 delegates from Sen. Obama???s lead in the race for the Democratic nomination, which by most counts stands at about 100 delegates.

But Sen. Obama may make up all that lost ground in the media counts that are the closest this race has to an official scoreboard. A California politics blogger has argued that Sen. Clinton won 36 more pledged delegates in the state than Sen. Obama, rather than the 44-delegate margin that has long been included in the news organizations??? tallies. A spokesman for the state party confirms the blogger???s numbers. ...

Comment: I am very proud of this country and I believe that this is the country of truth and opportunities for those who seek freedom. I understand that we are all prejudice in one way or another but I also believe that we should all be listened to and even debate us to see if we are factual. How many presidents have we had that have not done the correct things and we just keep voting for the same type of results. Meanwhile lets look at Abraham Lincoln and lets see what he has thought us. I believe that we should keep moving forward not backwards. I just hope that we are voting for the right reason, not the color that we think is right.

I'm proud of this country it gave me opportunities that my motherland would never have given me and I have hope that the dream of Abraham Lincoln is still alive.

But what I'm having trouble with is why people are getting the impression that Hillary Clinton has a platform to stand on while Obama does not. He has repeated over and over again his plans for healthcare and that includes making it affordable for all. He also talks about education and the war in Iraq. His experience and intelligence speak come across loud and clear. I was a Hilary supporter until I realized how may interest groups she'll be beholden to and we don't have time for her to do their favors first. We need a President that is beholden to the people, including seniors that are anxious about medicaid and medicare.

Comment: Please read Obama's book The Audacity to Hope - you will see how he worked the streets and organized in New York City as well as the hard streets of Chicago. Now, for someone who is from lily white Hawaii and from a family who knows nothing of the streets that shows his willingness to get in the fight and work. He has more experience than Hilary if you count elected office - does being a First Lady for 8 years mean much of anything??? All she had to do was travel. Wake up - you are voting for Hilary only because she is white - this race is only based on races now. You don't want a black man leading you cause that would be just sooooooooo sinful in your Klan book. Wow and Obama is cocky??? Hmmm....any black man that doesn't bow down to their white counterpart is considered cocky in your book. If a white man said and did what he did then we wouldn't have this problem. Whites will be hard on him for no apparent reason and blacks will be hard on him cause he won't baby their problems....for this man to make it as far as he has is a miracle but the true test will be the people when he does become the nominee or even president. However, I'm sure white people will vote McCain before they dare let a black man in office. They would rather we stay in war another 100 years....you people are such hypocrites!

As an undecided voter in the state of Pennsylvania I would like to know exactly what Obama will change, and how he plans to implement the change. I keep hearing "Obama will Change it", which sounds great, it has a really good ring to it, but I am concerned about what he will be changing, how he plans to change whatever he is changing, and what effect his "changes" will have on me. Anyone have an answer? I can't seem find one.

Comment: It???s about getting rid of the old school politics and bringing transparency to Washington to make politicians accountable for their actions. For instance Hillary Clinton has NOT release any of her Post-White House Tax returns from 2001 to 2007, Obama has already released up to & including his 2007 reports.

It???s about transcending party lines to ease the gridlock in Washington that keeps anything meaningful from getting passed. As evidence of this Obama has already co-sponsored a Senate bill by McCain as well as collaborated on other bi-partisan projects.

It???s about the working class actually having representation in Washington. When Clinton was 1st Lady of Arkansas, she was also on the Wal-Mart board of directors for 6 years. During this time the Board battled successfully to keep Unions out of Wal-Mart. Where was Obama? He was working as a community organizer in inner-city Chicago, bringing people together to improve their urban community.

Comment: Barack Obama change will invovle the ways the nation preceives its self, right now we are so concern about the so called groups that we are associated not with the fact that we are all AMERICAN! He will help us to realize the whether , white , black ,latino, woman, man, senior , youth, democrat, republican or independent we all have the same basic needs. He will the imstrument of government to assist us to improve our lives and leave a better world for our children. As a result of his experience and demonstrated good judgement to cross party lines and cultural divides he will eliminate the governmental gridlock that we wittness in Washington today.
His foreign policy is realistic and refreshing compared to "My way or the Highway" policy, he will use diplomacy first and will use military force when those effort have not promoted U.S. interest. H e will attempt to initiate communication with regimes in which the U.S. has not traditionally speak . This policy is cheaper and over the long term more effective than the use of military force.

This is a brief overview of Obama's policies I suggest you review his website for more a detail accord.

Bill has too many ties to other nations for his ???charities???, so why isn???t it ruled a conflict of interest? Don???t non-profit organizations need to provide yearly returns with donors, donation amounts, payments, payees and amounts? RED FLAG: The charitable ???donations??? from foreign countries, but no disclosure. Red flags, in triple, for these ventures. Hillary often demonstrates her self-centered arrogance that ???rules??? only apply if she benefits. She proved while in the W/H how deadly she could be with ???revenge??? as her weapon. She has no soul, and tries to crush any opposition using any available means. When will the Clintons provide complete documentation of her years in the W/H? This time, will a lie detector test be required to guarantee that no documents were removed? RED FLAG: Sandy Berger had unrestricted access to highly classified terrorism documents at the National Archives. Failure to follow extremely strict security guidelines was a bonus for Berger, he was a familiar figure. He was eventually accused of stealing documents, but claimed that he borrowed a few copies to study, which he later returned. At his trial, the DOJ let Berger off on a misdemeanor charge and surrender of his license. He didn???t even submit to a lie detector test. RED FLAG, RED FLAG: It was later learned that the top- secret original NSC documentation, with hand-written notes (no inventory, no copies existed) covering the Clinton Administration handling of the terrorism threats were ???missing??? from the National Archives. The entire 9/11 Commission report was a waste of time and money, due to incomplete data. RED FLAG: We will never know the full truth about how 9/11 could have/should have been prevented. Comment: Nius , thank you for understanding the whole picture, I as a hispanic live in Texas, and Hillary comes to Texas and calls herself the Hispanic nominee, I know she has a few texas roots early in her life. But to think she or Pres Bill Clinton did something for Hispanics, I'm shock, he was called the First Black President, no offense to anyone, wish was great. But as a Hispanic, I'm tried of our vote being use to win and forget about us later, like most voters from any race, creed or party. So I do want change and I believe Sen Obama bring that since he owns no one in Washington anything. But, what I have seem is lots of support from elders in the Senate, which is confirmation that he can lead us.

So if that said, I proud to vote for Obama, because any one who's Husband been leader of the most powerful Country on this Planet, and can't figure orshow thier Tax Returns, is hiding something. I do know from a good source that the Clintons have recieved money from sources that going to make people see who they really are. So the time will come or sooner then later they will have to show thier Returns.

Comment: Sorry, I'm a middle aged white female professional who has felt the glass ceiling, but I can't identify with Hillary or with Geraldine Ferraro AT ALL. Ferraro's recent racist comments regarding Obama's skin color are despicable. And though I can fully appreciate what Hillary has accomplished, I have to disapprove of what she has done to get there. Not even mentioning the many shady deals in the Clintons' past (or Bill's out-of-control libido), I am appalled by what Hillary is doing to the Democratic party right now. It's a power play she should be ashamed of, This attitude of "take no prisoners and seize power at any cost." Her insistence on taking this to the superdelegate level and cutting a back room deal that disenfranchises the actual voters is a reprehensible replay of the 2000 Bush/Gore debacle.

The problem with stealing elections is that it opens the door for a political free-for-all in which the individual voter's ballots have no meaning and elections are only for show. That's called fascism, dictatorship, or communism (take your pick). It certainly is not democracy. So, even though I'm a feminist, I can't be swayed by feminist rhetoric when I see crimes against the American people being committed in the name of "girl power." I want a female President too. But consider how damaging it will be to women's future chances in politics, if our first female Commander-in-Chief is hated by the people for her skulduggery and election fraud.

And remember how Geraldine Ferraro's cheating on her taxes KILLED women's political chances at the Presidency until now, 25 years later. I don't want to give away the next 25 years to Hillary Clinton's mistakes.

Oh, yeah, Hillary hasn't released her tax returns yet. Are you old enough to remember what happened to Ferraro's candidacy after she released her tax returns? She got flushed down the toilet, and with her went the dreams of millions of American women.

Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll still be alive in 25 years, when Obama's daughter will run for President.

For Barrack Obama to do well in a state that celebrates the first day of deer hunting season like most people celebrate Christmas, Obama have to get the people to believe that he is a viable candidate. Comment: I am totally amazed at the willingness of the media and the obama supporters to be overlooking the importance of his voting present 130 times in the Illinois legislature. His unwillingness to vote yes or no on those bills are signs of indecision at best. His response to why he voted present are even more troubling. He says the bills needed more fine tuning, they weren't strong enough or they had techinical difficulties. Leaders know nothing is perfect and compromise is the name of the game. It takes leadership skills to find compromise. Through inexperience, Obama either lacks these necessary skills or he chooses not to take a position and rock the boat so later he will not have to defend his posititions on a bill and take responsibility. The media continues to stress a need for change. I will not be voting for Obama because of his inability to make those hard choices in making decisions. It is apparent Obama does not have the depth it will take to be a strong leader and it is very bothersome for me since I do not know who will be pulling the strings behind him to make the tough decisions. What a sad bunch we are in America to let opinions become fact and let the media influence our elections. They have mislead the public and the public just wants to hate and condemn. Where was the media before going to war in Iraq when it came to investigative reporting. They take the easy way out in order to not rock the boat. They are not deserving of the influence they are peddling. Everyone should take a look in the mirror and have a serious talk with their conscience.

Senator Hilary Clinton has a vision for the country, she wants to lead because she sees so many things that need to be fixed. I always admire that about her. Senator Obama, on the other hand, wants to make history as the first African-American US president. That is what he means by "change" and "yes we can".
Today, Senator Barack Obama is favored to win Mississipi . I wonder why?
Could it be just because the black population is big there?
Then, if that is the case, how can Obama "Unify" the country... but, when most blacks vote on skin color and whites vote solely to stop Hilary from winning the nomination, since they know McCain does not stand a change facing her in the general election.
This is politics as usual, except this time, we have a candidate (Obama) with this own personal agenda.

Change IS voting for the candidate who passed ethics reform. Change is voting for the candidate who passed a nuclear non-proliferation bill. Change is voting for the candidate who cares about ALL states not just the big ones he or she wins. Change is voting for the candidates who actually wants to find and kill the terrorists in Afghanistan. Change is voting for the candidate who actually has a solution for this economy and didn't watch their husband let Alan Greenspan authorize all these retarded adjustable, low interest home loans. Change is voting for the only candidate who was a constitutional law professor (know this means nothing to some people) and actually bothered to sign an agreement to restore the Constitution to the proper level. All of these things are change. Now I know you cynical voters don't believe this will happen and would prefer to live in your world of perpetual fear of anyone different or younger than you, refuse to see that things could ever get better, and wallow in the utter disaster of our current debacle but some of us refuse to do this. Some are old, some are young. We are all for change (the type I detailed above) so we will vote for Barack Obama.

Also not that it doesn't go the other way too but can I say some of this anti-young person rhetoric on this and other sites is really starting to bother you. Why do you assume young people know nothing? They're not the ones who got us into Iraq or this mess we're in now after all.

Comment: Is it racist to say Obama's votes are coming mostly from black america. Is it racist to say, Barrack Hussein Obama. You have to believe there is something more to a politician like Obama. You can start by releasing all of the paperwork from his dealings with Rezko. That's where the real Obama is. And to think, that would only be the beginning of the shady politician from Chicago.

Comment: What is wrong with US media that they continue to neglect important stories staring them right in the face, and instead waste our time with this horse race nonsense? Our ambassador to Canada has gone on record that the Canadian government is interfering in the US primary election. The Canadian media is full of the allegations that are being made against the conservative government, calling their government shills for Bush. The Canadians absolutely love Obama and do not care for Hillary. The Canadians have their own Fox news network that is a mouthpiece for their very conservative Prime Minister. But American media ignores these facts. American media ignores the evidence of the Limbaugh-Clinton alliance that committed voter fraud in Ohio and Texas. Once again our media is out to lunch. Where are the weapons of mass destruction?Answer: Newsweek, Time, Washington Post, NYTimes, MSNBC, ABC, CNN, CBS and so on.

Comment: Obama got a $500,000 favor from a now indicted Tony Rezko.

In 2005 Obama, the junior senator from Illinois wanted to buy a house in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago. The seller of the house would only sell the house in conjunction with the adjacent lot. The total price the seller would accept would be 2,260,000, for his property.

Evidently Obama could not afford the $2,260,000 price. Obama asked his friend, Antoin "Tony" Rezko for to help him with the purchase. Rezko was happy to comply with the request from the Illinois senator.

The state's junior senator paid $1.65 million for a Georgian revival mansion, while Rezko paid $625,000 for the adjacent, undeveloped lot. Both closed on their properties on the same day.

In a later transaction Obama gave the political fundraiser $104,000 for a portion of the property, Rezko paid $625,000 for.

Any way you look at this Obama got a $500,000 favor from a now indicted Tony Rezko.

This favor is an ethics violation and probably criminal. What did Rezko get in return for the half million-dollar favor? Did Obama lie on mortgage documents? Did Rezko do something for $500,000 and get nothing in return.

Obama is doing business as usual and is unfit to hold any political office. What does the FBI and U.S. Attorney know and why are they not informing the public. I know why Obama has not released all of his documents relating to the purchase.

Comment: No wonder, Bill Clinton was doing his thing, while she was out running the country. Wonder where she was when Bill was smoking Cigars in his office, answering the phones. Just because I'm at the delivery room when my wife is having a baby, does not make me an expert in childbirth. That' was a comment by Huckbee tonight on TV. So because she married to the president that in no make her the better nominee
for president. So guess now Bill Clinton will be running the country, and maybe she pay him back smoking a cigar if she wins.

If people can see her bi-polar moods, sayin Obama is not good to be president then turn around and say he be a great Vice President, only a heartbeat away from President. I will say this, I don't care if she wins, but when it comes to class Sen Obama got more then her, and to me that's the number one thing we want in our president. Vote Obama , if you really care about this person, but if you want someone who going to, cry and tried to change the rules as the game is played , vote Hillary Clinton, because it's like they say, you get what you purchase, and Hillary Clinton is Damaged goods.

Comment: The United States Congress and Senate are traitor to the Constitution of the United States.

Bipartisan Senate and Congressional allegiance to obstruction of justice in the Executive Branch has destabilized society from New Orleans to Iraq and back again.

While the US military is an occupying force in the Middle East, in support of an incredible Iraqi parliament, the current presidential candidates are not addressing the issues facing the American electorate challenge and mandate of 2006 to deescalate US military presence in Iraq. George W. Bush and his entire Cabinet of Advisors are wanted for treason.

Your offices have been petitioned time and again to respond correctly to the abuse of power in the Executive Branch.

Your offices are part and parcel to treason and insurrection waged against the American electorate. Failed US Foreign Policy is the result of illegal international aggression as disguised by this Bush Administration. The failure to serve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States is all too apparent in the United States Senate and Congress.

Comment: Think of what Senator Clinton has doen to Senator Obama. There is a difference between negative and dirty politics. Senator Clinton went dirty leading up to the Iowa caucus. Think of the history, violence, poverty and the prison situation with African Americans. Senator Clinton, A Democrat, smeared Senator Obama with false emails trying to say he is Muslim, had surrogates like Bob Kerrey use his middle name in a nefarious fashion, and had Bill Shaheen put forth innuendo that maybe he dealt drugs. They tried to create fear around an African American candidate based on lies and superficial nonsense. Many Democrats have not held her accountable, and many laud her. Which just goes to show at the heart of it, there is little difference between the dirty politics of some Republicans and the dirty poltics of many
    Democrats.

Comment: You probably also think it's ok call a black man 'boy' too. So do you call your boss by his/her middle name? What about your wife or you parents? No one uses someone's middle name in regular day to day conversation. If John Sidney McCain says it wrong then how about you gettting into the 21st century and realizing what context clues mean.

Comment: Don't presume you know what I think is right. But I guess we need to stop using John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Gerge Walker Bush, Franklin Delonor Roosevelt, etc.... Heck, while we are at it, lets just stop making the President use his middle name while swearing in. For you to compare, using someones' middle name to using the word "boy" for a black man, just shows your ignorance. Oh, and my mother uses my middle name lots of times. Also, I had to put both my parents' middle names on my security clearance paperwork. So, in short, if you are uncomfortable with Barack Hussein Obama's middle name, then why are you voting for him? Why is it all of a sudden considered inflammatory to use a middle name? WTF? What is wrong with you people? What is with the double standard?????

Bill Clinton was the elected public offical not Hillary. And what exact legislation did she pass ? Her claim to fame is a FAILED healthcare reform bill, while again not in public office but as first lady. jsparrow said Obama "generally spent his time running for president or getting ready to run for president". Wake up Hillary only became Senator of New York (which she has no ties to) as a platform to run for President. If you didn't know that you shouldn't be allowed to vote, because obviously you haven't been paying attention for the last six years. If you have a legitimate issue with Obama let's hear it. But this crap about his inexperience, ego and middle name just goes to show that most who have a problem with him don't actually know why ?

So I HAVE to assume his race is an issue; which isn't hard to believe living in this country. We're in the twenty-first century, with inventions that rival Star Trek, and bigots and racist are as large as ever.
I voted for Obama here in Ohio, but I still like Hillary--voted for Bill twice. But I seriously like what I hear from Obama. But being a black man, I'm accused of prefering Obama because HE is black. In fact, I was a Hillary fan for a long time before I began listening to what Obama was really about. I like his views--they're different. But let's be straight about it--his race is more important to many white people than even his gender, or his political views.

The archivists' decision, based on guidance provided by Bill CLINTON that restricts the disclosure of advice he received from aides, prevents public scrutiny of documents that would shed light on how he decided which pardons to approve from among hundreds of requests.

By telling the American people one story about his plan for Iraq and the BBC a different story? By appointing grossly inexperienced foreign policy advisors?

I hope to keep Sen. Obama's "judgment" as far away from American foreign policy as possible. His judgment is so poor that he is conducting foreign policy with Canada and Britain when it is completely beyond his brief to do so and he isn't conducting and of the foreign policy oversight in Afghanistan that he has been charged with as a member of the Senate. The Senator's ego is expanding his brief on the one hand, and completely ignoring it on the other hand, seems outrageous to me. Perhaps he should do the job that he was elected to do first, Senator, and then consider running for the Presidency if he is able to prove himself in the Senate.

    1. She has tried to get healthcare passed for 15 years she has accomplished NOTHING.
2.Her campaign contacted the Canadians regarding Nafta, Her husband passed Nafta. Yet she tricked OH and TX into believing Obama was shady.
    3. She didn't have a problem with FL and MI delegates being sidelined until the vote came out in her favor. I guarantee you that they would be in that category of states that don't count in her schizophrenic mind if Obama had won. She sure as heck wouldn't be trying to get them seated.

It's probably for the best that she is all talk and no action. Her actions with regard to the Iraq War (which she now admits was a mistake ) has cost us thousands of lives and Billions of dollars. She can't take back that vote. The soldiers who have been hurt or killed can't get back what they have lost either. We don't need her kind of experience. Obama has more integrity better judgement and the kind of experience that we need to bring about real change in this country. Hillary needs to find a psychiatrist to treat her bipolar disorder schizophrenia and multiple personality issues. Obama does not need her as his VP. He needs an honest person with less scandals in their past who is less polarizing. How dare she suggest that he be her VP when she hasn't even won the nomination. What an arrogant person she is. She needs to stop trying to destroy the party and change the rules in the middle of the game.

Comment: We need to be careful about assumptions. Many of the voters Obama has galvanized may not be so galvanized if Clinton becomes the candidate. Many may do what they would have done along: stay home. Plus, Clinton can't win the independent vote. I think if Clinton becomes the candidate, McCain wins.

Comment: Sorry, but as a resident of Massachusetts which has many independents, all indications show that Hillary will get our votes.... However, it Obama is the nominee, McCain will get our votes....

Comment: And many of the voters that Sen. Clinton has galvanized might not be so if Sen. Obama is the candidate. The Party is basically split 50/50. Sen. Clinton is trying to unite the Party with a Clinton/Obama ticket that makes a ton of sense. The Democratic Party is clearly comprised of factions that need to be brought together. Take it from a great Republican, Abraham Lincoln, "A house divided against itself can not stand."

Comment: I think we need to be careful about assumptions. Many of the voters Obama has been able to galvanize, probably won' be so galvanized come the November elections, if Clinton is the candidate. Many will probably do what they may have done al along: stay home. If that's the case, does McCain then win.

Comment: We in the obama camp admit we have a tough challenge but all is not lost, I belive as does Senator Obama that there is always hope and I hope that the more people see of Senator Obama the more they will like him and listen to his message. The more people see of Hillary the less they like her. We have seven long weeks to go so anything can happen .GO OBAMA

Comment: I dont' care if you don't like Hillary, She'll get things done. For all your candidates rhetoric, he's shown that he's nothing but fluff. I'll take hardball anyday..... That's what it's going to take to get things done. Not "words". We in Massachusetts have seen what Gov. Deval Patrick's words mean...NOTHING.....

Comment: Sorry for those typos getrealino8. Since you are an expert on the English language, you might want to work on that run together sentence in the first line of your post. Rather than just call me naive and ignorant, might you share with me what I am being naive and ignorant about? Hillary supporters won't get a chance to vote for McCain since she has no clear path to the nomination. She gets there only if Super Delegates do the improbable. Talk about drinking the Kool-aide. You appear to be as delusional as your candidate

  • Posted By: surfesq @ 03/10/2008 2:04:33 AM

Comment: Don't forget that Obama has a 140+ pledged delegate lead and has gained 45 Super Delegates to Hillary's -3 Super Delegates since Super Tuesday. Given this dismal showing, Hillary has the nerve to suggest that Obama should consider being her Vice Presidential running mate? Pleassssseeeee. What is Hillary thinking?

Comment: I was a supporter of Hillary Clinton until she started running a scorched-earth campaign which is a damaging betrayal of her party. She seems to have been taking politics lessons from Carl Rove. Where would she be if she hadn't ridden to fame on Bill's coattails? What does she really have to offer? Cynicism, toxicity and dirty tactics. She has dragged the whole process down into the mud. I'm fed up with her and will be voting for Obama.

    • Posted By: Donna1000 @ 03/10/2008 12:45:31

Comment: Karl Rove is now advising the McCain campaign. If Sen. Obama runs off the stage because he doesn't want to talk about his affiliation with Tony Rezko, just wait. Sen. Clinton is doing all Democrats a great service by challenging Sen. Obama before Karl Rove gets going.

Comment: Let's see - Hillary gets four states and Obama captures 46 of them plus has a million more votes. Um, I'll take Obama thanks.

  • Posted By: surfesq @ 03/10/2008 1:34:50 AM

Comment: Does anyone get Hillary's big state argument? What makes her think that she is so special that she is the only Democrat for whom Democrats in big blue states will vote? Wouldn't the more logical conclusion be that Obama will be able to carry those states in the general election to the same extent that Hillary will? And shouldn't Democrats take advantage of Obama's popularity in some of the red states that have actually turned purple? While he may actually win a couple of those states, Hillary does not have a snowballs chance in hell of making headway in those states. And how will Hillary fare against McCain in the race for Independent voters? Not well at all. So what is her case for being more electable? Oh, I get it. She doesn't think that McCain and the right wing talkers are not going to remind voters of the last couple of years of the Clinton administration and Bill's interesting earning history over the past 7 years. Why do the Clinton's believe that Democratic voters are not entitled to know what are in the Clinton tax returns? Hillary insulted us by initially saying that she would release her tax returns after she becomes the nominee. I am glad that Tim Russert pushed her until she committed to releasing them on 4/15/08. Expect fireworks when they finally are released.

I used to be a strong supporter of Bill and Hillary. In one short year, they have turned me into a detractor of both of them. I have tired of their win-at-all-cost shenanigans. Since I can't bring myself to vote for McCain or waste my vote on Nader, I'll reluctantly vote for Hillary in the general election if the Super Delegates hand Hillary the nomination. Like Republicans voting for McCain, I'll have a firm hold on my nose.

Comment: Anyone voting for Hillary is simply delusional. HIllary will stoop to any level as she has shown to win this nomination by putting Mcain over Obama. What an IDIOT! Hillary will sell this country and all its jobs to India and Philipines as evidenced by her negotiating a deal with an Indian software company, This software company took all their jobs away from Buffalo and it promised they will create new jobs in Buffalo. Well, who does the software company hire in Buffalo? Yeap, more Indians that too shipped from India. Hillary will do anything for a campaign donation. OTOH, what is Obama waiting for to strike back at Hillary?
