Comment:
No one running for president has any more experience being president then the other. It is a clean slate and Obama is head over heels above the rest as a manager, uniter, organizer, constitutionally savvy, speaker, decision maker, visionary, etc. Just about every aspect of the man says leader/president. May not be perfect but he is the best we got and we are extremely lucky to have someone like him in our day and age within arms reach of the Presidency. He will go a long way in restoring Americas good name in world affairs.
Comment: At least McCain knows for certain how many states there are in the United States. In about a weeks time Obama has claimed that there are 48 states and then admitted to being to all 57 states.
Comment: On the campaign trail, Obama has shown signs of ridicule and mockery that remind me of Bush. Bush has pet names for the people he doesn't like. He uses subtle underhanded mocking statements similar to this one: "losing one's bearings."
I don't see any signs of Obama the Uniter. It's a campaign slogan that Alexrod has used repeatedly and successfully for other candidates.
Comment: Obama is the mrror image of Bush. One is a smooth-talking shallow convervative, the other is a smooth-talking shallow liberal. Neither has any depth or discipline, and both are equally dangerous.
Comment: Since when he repeating the words of Obama a smear? At least the McCain campaign called him on it. Obama made the same mistake with his bitter and typical comments. Obama needs to choose his words more wisely. (Sounds like all the Bill and Geraldine comments that were taken out of context are coming back to bite.) NO BODY IS PERFECT
Comment: The Geraldine comments were definately NOT taken out of context! I'm going to be fair and leave Bill out of this.
Comment:
so what qualities does Mc have to bring about the change that we all want and need to pull this country out of the 911 years?
No body answered the question they just repeated what I posted and tried to twist it around LOL. Didn't work It was a fair question and you didn't have a answer.
There is no way Mc will ever have any qualities to nor does he want to bring us out of the 911 years he is comfortable living in them and has benefited from them as the rest of the hard liners have.
His service record is the only thing he has going for him and Ron paul got 16% of the vote in Penn. They are shutting down state Republican conventions all over the country and they are coming to blows at the conventions and meetings. The republicans are running scared as hey they should be. This is not their year. They will lose seats in the House and Senate as well as the Presidency as well they should for their stabbing the American people in the back.
It is time for change and newness. do not short change the young progressive movement they will be the difference in the GE as they have been in the primaries. and they are filled with Republicans. Democrats, Independents. black, white hispanics, asians, jews, arabs all colors of the spectrum. It will be a great year for the American people and we will see if we can secure the change that is most assuredly coming.
Comment: This country does need change but Obama is the change this country needs. And quite honestly, McCain doesn't have to do much to beat Obama. Obama has no real record or real experience. All Obama bring to the table is a fresh face and impressive rhetoric. Although Obama's rhetoric is impressive, it doesn't match with what he has actually done. I am sure the republicans will run endless commercials showing Obama lying and contradicting himself.
Next, Obama is just as weak on the economy and healthcare as McCain and McCain need to use that to his advantage. The truth is that OBama don't have experience in these areas either so while OBama will definitely try to knock McCain on that, all McCain have to do is constantly point out that Obama is just as inexperienced and have no record in those areas as well. All the voters have to rely on is OBama words and as we will soon see OBama's words don't match his actions. Obama can criticize McCain all he want but here is the difference, MCCain has a record that he can fall back on and actually it will benefit McCain to point out that he is the one who has worked across party lines and that is why many in his party have some concerns with him. However, he has more of a record of being a uniter than Obama.
All McCain has to do is continue to raise doubt about Obama and that will be VERY easy to do because OBama has NO RECORD. Also McCain's surrogates need to raise doubt about Obama's love for this country however, MCCain should not tackle this one himself. Obama has surrounded himself around people who have said anti American things including the one who is closest to him, his wife. The 527 need to hammer on that. Obama can disown his pastor and his terrorist friends but he can not disown his wife!
After MCCain and his peeps finish with Obama, the only loyal base he will continue to have is the majority of black voters and extreme liberals! What is there to Obama but words and what will the words mean once the 527 reveal that his actions don't match the words!
I am an AVID Clinton supporter who hopes she run independent but if she doesn't, I will jump on the McCain bandwagon. I think you will clearly see that Obama will prove to be a terrible candidate for the Democrats!
Comment: NO Obama! And NO love for the Democratic Party!!! Clinton supporters see how they did her and we will NOT forget and MOST WILL NOT support Obama. He is inexperienced, weak and can't even stand on his own. He needs his surrogates, the media and wife to protect him. IF he is not in a friendly envitronment, he CRUMBLES! All OBama have his words and in doing plenty of research, it appears that his actions don't quite add up to his words. All the republicans have to do is break his words down and show him for the fraud that he is.
I am URGING Clinton to run inpedendent. Soon the DNC will see that everything they did to try to hurt Clinton, will only hurt the party because Obama is inexperienced, not knowledgeable and weak and let me mention that we will soon see that he is a fake as well!! NO LOVE FOR THE DNC OR THEIR CHOSEN ONE!
Clinton, run independent! NO LOVE FOR THE DNC!
Comment: Comment: To tell the truth, McCain was wrong to attach Obama to Hamas. Both McCain and Lieberman were not able to give any sensible reason why they want to attach Obama to Hamas. For me that was a great mistake and something silly on their parts. McCain has a big work to do on his pastor. The comments of his paster is more worse than what Rev. Wright said.

Comment: Obama accuses McCain of losing his "BEARING"
And then ...
McCain accused Bama of losing his "BOWLING"
Haha ... I know ... stick to my day job right? A comedian I'm not. Can't help it though ....
Comment: Obama will pull in lots of voters with comments like that, if they lower the voting age to 12.
Comment: Throwing around adolescent-sounding insults is what Obama calls a new kind of politics? He deflects attention away from every criticism or question about him or his actions with some kind of flippant juvenile retort. You people who have fallen for it have sold your personal responsibility and independent thinking skills for a wish for a messiah who will save the world. I thought no president could ever make a bigger mess of this country and the world than George W. Bush, but if Obama gets in the White House he surely will. And you Obama followers will some day learn that you paved the path to destruction by failing to simply think.
Comment: He cant when without H.C. supporters so stop worrying if your going to McCain anyway...
H.C. cant win without his supporters......... where ya been?
Life moves on... oh well !! the simple threats must go on because Life moves on.......
Hey Core D in Texas ( isnt that a red state)?
good luck with Mccain in 08" i'll stick it out with Obama ( rather i'll take my chances on the dream)
peace ( two fingures are up)
Comment: Plead to all "Over-the-Hill" supporters:
It's time to jump on the Johnny Mac "STRAIGHT TALK EXPRESS (i.e., political BS Train ... haha) to the W.H. Get on now folks! Or you just might miss all the fun!
Just having a little fun today!
Comment:
so what qualities does Mc have to bring about the change that we all want and need to pull this country out of the 911 years?
Comment: Hey Driver: McCain brings "Hope & Change"! Laughing!!!!
"YES WE CAN ... YES WE CAN ... YES WE CAN!!!" Yada, yada, yada ... sorry I had to yawn.
Let's face it ... McCain is far from perfect. I've said this once and I'll probably say it a hundred more times during the GE showdown. Bottom line:
Johnny Mac is no angel, nor messiah like Bama (haha), but he's leaps and bounds better than the TWO DEMS that are running. Once again, I'll be forced to choose between the less of the two evils (and I don't mean evil in a literal sense). Most qualified of the two ... how's that?
Comment: You first...How will one man change the enitre political process of our country? And be specific please...
Comment:
How did you know that question was directed at you and how did i know you didn't have an answer? Actually there is no answer. So you were smart not to give one LOL
Answer:
Remove the poliical process!
That is the only answer any other answer to your question would be a lie!
And it will never happen but we can improve on what we have Don't you agree?
Roko1 you must agree
"there will be no change with Mccain"
Comment: And how did I know...like you canidate, you would not be able to give me one specific answer. Because there is none. Politics is what it is....if you need to believe he can change Politics, by all means, believe it. I think you are setting yourself up for a huge disappointment, but it's your life....Good Luck.
Comment: I agree. I see it like this, the game of politics has been around for thousands of years and hasn't changed a lot since then. Different forms of government, thats about it. Politicians have changed very little, its a game of how much can I get away with before I'm caught and killed.or kicked out. The man claiming to be able to change t;he process is either delusional, full of himself or a total megalomaniac.
Comment: Rocky and Zomb ... I give both of you TWO THUMBS UP for your posts. Both comments are right on!
Comment: Thanks
Comment: Since you're into 93 yr old women, that speaks volumes about your lifestyle ;-) Deviant pervs like you show you're true Republicans...'nough said....outa here!
Comment: Don't run away....tell you what I'll let you win one...Okay??
Comment: Obama is a nasty candidate in a nice suit... He has flipped Hillary the Bird at one of his Rally's accused her of sticking a knife in his back and turning and in the same breath he says he will not do "the Negatives" It is exactly what he does and follows it up by saying he will not resort to that kind of Campaigning... People need to pay attention to what he does and not what he says.... Because they always contradict each other. Of course when questioned he will say "what I meant was" just as he did with the bitter remark and people believe his excuses... I just don't get it... I guess I didn't get the blinders that everyone else received.....
Comment: You have your own permanent blinders.
Comment: "Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said Thursday that Republican John McCain was "losing his bearings" for repeatedly suggesting the Islamic terrorist group Hamas preferred Obama for president."
It's a white thing Barrack.
Comment: I guess Obama doesn't like it When McCain tells the truth...and resorts to negative rhetoric.... See people he says he won't but he does....
Comment: Oh, here we go with the accusations for Obama once again. McCain's a saint, Hillary is a saint but only Obama is a liar and a phony etc..... I know, Linda, you don't like him. Maybe you just feel bitter about your life and want to blame this man who has done you no harm for it.
Comment:
When exactly was it that Mc spoke the truth, Oh wait i know its when he send he ran out of Depends and lost his soul. thats right he speak of truth only he does not speak it
I also heard he is agressively seaking RM Nixon's endorsement. No wait Nixon is dead well nothing like seeking the endorsement of of your demography
Comment: with a name like Linda Lee i gather you are from the conferate states.......
H.C. can race bate & that is okay w/ Linda Lee....... i bet your an old person Lina Lee...
Comment: G, forget about it. It's not worth your time. Besides, Alvy took care of the incident today in that particular article.
Comment: Wow you want to put me in a special catagory because of my name...... You can gues wht you want but you donot even deserve an answer............... Maybe ill throw you into a special catagory all its own.....
Comment: No, Linda, you placed yourself in a special category this afternoon when you posted racist , (sorry, but I have to accuse you of that, there's no other way) comments about blacks overturning cars if Oboma loses the GE and about OJ Simpson. Here's a suggestion, think before you post next time.
Comment: She does that with everyone, calls them names like idiot, racist and make wild generalization that make no sense all the while claiming to be a highly educated sociologist. Let trash lay in the gutter.
Comment: Hey, Z! I'm surprised you would refer to anyone as trash. You're better than that.
As for Linda Lee, don't let her fool you, she's no innocent. She instigated an argument with me just because I'm an Obama supporter. I never said a mean thing to her, she started it after I posted to her a compliment for her loyalty to Hillary. I made a nice comment and she went on a rant about Obama and my loyalty to him. I'm telling the truth.
Comment: see its no claim.
what do you think Sociologist do? the generalizations become Theory after facts are out ( through research & Stats are done )....
you are a idiot dude because you dont understand my post.. I have never made a racist remark towards white or black people... i said the Media was reporting racial divide.. i really dont care who your voteing for in the Fall.. i only respond to the Ignorance that is posted time & time agian.. i'm not here to be anybodys friend ( i have a good life)..... i do find this message board Humorous because the ignorance is in Huge amounts.....between you & Native dude & Holy roller & H.C. supporters that say they are not going to vote for him in Nov. who really cares ( those threats fall on death ears)... Obama has won the game of politics fair & Square ( who cares if half the nation wont pick him in the end)... you cant take the Nomination away because some wont vote for him because he is black/ or they dont trust him ect..ect....ect..... it's a petty argument that is how stupid some are....
Comment: glimps - your ears are dead? aAre they "Deaf" too?
Comment: I know, glimps. Just ignore the instigators.
Comment: go ahead Lina Lee
i beg you to but me in a category...... Please... you already answered me Linda Lee...
Comment: Let me take a shot....You are a....Liberal, Bi-Racial, Social Worker from California....How did I do??
Comment: hey Rock,
very good :-) thats my day job
Comment: I think we all know what your night job is.
How often do you kill babies?
Comment: and a divider...right G?
Comment: naw !! :-)
just a complex issue......
Comment: Now, I like Mac, he is just enough of a maverick to win a spot in my heart BUT some of the things that have been attributed to him appear to be similiar to 'charlie brown syndrome'. Unless he is being misquoted??? He appears to flip-flop on issues, depending on what day it is? My question is why?? Remember what you say Mac and don't say the opposite next week. We all forget sometimes, so it is all good but just accept it for what it is and move on.
Comment: He is being seriously misquoted. The whole 100 years in Iraq was taken way out of context by the left. The fact that Obama keeps making reference to that says a lot about a man that keeps saying he is above negative campaign tactics. You from vegas?
Comment: why hasent Old dude rejected & denounce Bush yet?
Comment: Because Bush endorsed him back in March.
Comment: All right Johnny Mac. Time to put on your war face! Looks like the marathon Dem race is finally over. Apparently, the Dem Queen underestimated the young Harvard Kid. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! As one of your avid supporters: BE PREPARED FOR THE MEAT GRINDER NOW!
The free MEDIA PASS is just about over now. As you already know ... your time has come. Get ready for the liberal media to slam you every chance they get now that the Dem race is over. SNL skits here we come. I'm quite sure they'll run the "old" thang into the ground. Plus, I'm sure you know that the K-5 S & L Scandal will resurface. Be ready! I got your back! Good luck sir! Time for the REAL GAME!
Naval Academy vs. Harvard
McCain 2008! God Bless America!
Comment: Why would you back an adulterer?? He'll always be a loudmouthed hypocrite! No wonder the Brewery Babe keeps her fortune separate! He has admitted to extramarital affairs...we've had enough of that in the WH.....he's already shown his slimeball language, calling his current wife a C*** in public...real classy, Mac!!!
Comment: Hey Dick, there's a lot that I can say about the two Dem candidates, although a lot of the dirt has already been aired. Quite sure there's gonna be plenty more to come come the GE. It's all good. As a Mod Repub, I'm ready for the Preppy Progressives (aka young libs). Now I don't mean that in a mean or derogatory way ... I just know that young folks have come out in record numbers this election, and quite frankly, I LIKE IT!
Even if Bama ends up winning ...I'm just glad to see that people are really getting involved this election. Now, I may take a shot or stab at you libs every now and again, but it's all in fun. Heck, I've been slammed a few times already. It's all good as long as it doesn't get too personal.
Comment: Why are you backing a liar?
Comment: Probably the same reason your wfie sleeps around....John is probably a bad lay.
Comment: John couldn't get it up with Viagra, just like you...btw, what's a "wfie"? Speak much English? ;-)
Comment: Ummm...I'm not sure you should be talking about another dude getting it up....Not that there is anything wrong with that lifestyle. Sorry about the typo...your Mom was just finishing up and I was a little crossed eyed....My bad.
Comment: She is good isn't she?
Comment: Sounds like Hussein is losing his bearings. Maybe he should tell his Hamas buddies to shut their mouths. He ain't seen nothing yet, and when it's all said and done HE will be the loser.Looks like Fla and Mich are going to count their delegates after all. Even though Hussein is trying to stop them. Nice fair politics once again out of the democratic party.Such fun to watch.
McCain 08
Comment: But Hua - the math has been done over and over and over again.... Even if ALL the votes are counted and the delegates seated in MI and FL, Obama will still be ahead in both categories. Not to mention he's only trailing by 5 in the supers race. At this point, it doesn't matter. Hey, I say count 'em all.
Comment: Kboogie - Even though he may be ahead as you say, Billary still has the "Electability" arguement. Don't matter to me, but you know how the Dem party works. And even that may not work, who knows?
McCain 08
Comment: A co-worker just told me that Obama is now ahead in the supers.
Comment: Blah, blah, blah Capt Choocie.
Ranting and raving, and being a bigot -- again.
Back to intensive care with you.
Comment: = : )
Comment: If McCain is already losing his bearings I can't wait to see what else he loses during his GE run.
Comment: Stupid Asian afro-afro!
Comment: wow !!! Mccain is old???
Comment: Who knew.
Comment:
In 1949 Dr. Andrew Salter authored Conditioned Reflex
Therapy, a pioneering work in the field of
psychoanalysis. Ten years later, as Richard Condon was
writing The Manchurian Candidate, he asked Dr. Salter
to help "design" the brainwashed character for the
book and subsequent movie.
More than 40 years later, in 1992, during the C-SPAN
broadcasts of the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA
Affairs, Dr. Salter watched the hearings from his New
York City apartment. Salter became fascinated with
McCain's overly aggressive and angry behavior toward
witnesses, especially family members of men still
missing in action. After a few hours he called a
friend telling her, "the signs are all there, I'm
afraid Senator John McCain has been brainwashed."
During the Senate Select hearings, McCain opposed all
efforts by the POW/MIA families and activists to have
the Select Committee expand its investigation to study
how successful the Vietnamese, Soviet, Chinese and
Cuban interrogation apparatuses were at exploiting
American prisoners of war.
Comment: Ding, ding.
And there off.
The GE is almost officially underway.
The first "I didn't say that in a racial sense", or "he's too sensitive" defense is about to begin.
Hamas. Please. That claptrap, political, abusive verbal meandering is what backfired on Hills.
Comment: Guess we will see about that bookman. Bet it won't backfire in the G.E.
and its not underway yet bookman, no matter what Newsweek tells you.
McCain 08
Comment: Hey! I like books Indian war-hero.
Go GE, gonna be a good race.
Call McCain and tell him how you've been supporting him.
Bombs away. Kill all Muslims. I'm sure he'll agree.
That, or he'll think you're an idiot like the rest of us.
Get to the Emergency Room.

Comment: This guy wants to be our President and control our government. Pay close attention to the last comment!! Below are a few lines from Obama's books in his own words:
From Dreams of My Father: "I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites."
From Dreams of My Father : "I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mothers race."
From Dreams of My Father: "There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white."
From Dreams of My Father: ; "It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names."
From Dreams of My Father: "I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela."
From Audacity of Hope: "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

From Audacity of Hope: "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."
Comment: Ahhh. Taking things out of context again, huh? Why do you feel the need to do that?
Lets just look at the last one. The actual quote:
(from page 261): "Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific reassurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."
Now since you feel such contempt regarding this: What exactly is you position on detaining or arresting Americans for the color of their skin? Do you understand what happened with the Japanese internments?
Maybe you should be a little more specific regarding your own agenda.
Comment: gimp and alvy attempt to have everyone thrown out....if the are in disagreement...GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Comment: well Obama is the winner no matter a win in Pa.
she is SUSPECT !! kinda like you.
you suck !! i bet Alvy & i agree on that.....
GOD BLESS AMERICA !! if only peopple like Army4ranger would see the light....
Comment: Glimps, are you in junior high school? I say that because you sound more like a 7th grader than a rational adult with comments such as "you suck!!!" Do everybody a favor and grow up. Quit using the chidish insults. If you are campaigning for your pal Obama then you are not helping by taking the low road. Whenever you call people idiots or tell them they suck what does that really reveal about you?
Comment: tiredofobama,
you are responding to an old comment....... ( just in case old age gotcha!!)..........
i have graduated College this yr.. ( thanks for your congrads)... are you one of those uneducated voters??
i'm pretty grown dude as much as Biology will allow at this point( being in my late twenties & new grad recieving my M.A.)... Dude have you ever read any of my past post? I'M Bi-Racial ( black & white) so i never take the total LOW road...... this reveals about me that i get both sides ( Views) ; on the blog( personal life) ect...ect...
Comment: No one graduated from college this year and received a M.A. The only way you can get a bachelor's and a master's degree by May in any year is to order them off a matchbook or the internet.
Comment: On the back of glimps' diploma it says "Charmin".
And she thinks it means California higher a$$holes remind me I'm nuts.
Thats why she tells everyone they are "crazy"

I myself havent heard one but people and Obama has accused her of negative campaigning.... Tell me please. I hear him saying it, is he just trying to convince people with his words like always???
Comment: It is unfair and so ridiculous that Obama is forced to have to explain every positive comment he ever makes for anyone who is from the Republican party. He was forced to explain the Pres. Reagan comments, now this. The guy is giving credit where credit is due, that all, he's not endorsing anyone. He's being nice and he's being civil. I admire him for that.
This is what's wrong with America, we are still divived by two parties who like to tear each other apart. Very sad.
Comment: Is that because those positive comments were very few in number so they were easy to catch?
Comment: Divider!!!
Comment: Hi Rocky! How are you? Yes, divided. I mispelled the word
Comment: What's crackin P?
Comment: What's cracking me today? These mean people as usual. God forbid a Dem. says something nice about Rep. I'm a Rep. btw.
Comment: Pia - you are a Republican now!?! Did ya jump ship after PA. What about Husseins daughter being in the White House? you know Hussein's in the white house 16 years, remember? "And the walls come crumbling down"...
Comment: Why don't you just call him by his given name or his surname? Why use the middle name? Can you elaborate on the strategy here?
Comment: Really?? Well I'm a Dem, but I guess I'm not a good one. Alvy and Glimps started a petition to throw me out....LOL!
Comment: you need to support Obama
Comment: I like telling my girls they can be President.

She knows the facts, she knows the details, plus she has the big picture. She is a strategic thinker but she has the building blocks of the strategy in her personal knowledge. This is someone that when she is president our military is going to respect very highly, and when our Senior Officers brief her and meet with her they are going be very, very impressed by what she knows and the intelligence that she brings to these problems."
Brigadier General John Watkins, Jr.
"As I think about the challenges facing the nation and having been in uniform for almost thirty years, worked with a number of presidents to include the last four, I can???t think of a single person - those generals included - who s better qualified to walk into the Oval Office than Hillary Clinton. I don???t make that statement very lightly. She is more qualified, in my view, than her husband Bill was when he entered the office. It is no surprise to me that you would have as many flag officers who serve this country and Secretaries of the Army and Navy who have served this country who would come out and support Hillary."

Comment: Barring any major scandle Obama has this thing locked up, there is no way the american people are going to elect McCain since he's adopted bush's economic plan. It's the economy stupid, and the american people want to go a different direction than what the current adminstration has been taking us. If he wants any chance to win, he needs to publicaly come out against bush and his adminstration, the public has a very negative view on them and their intentions.
Comment: republican) are so confused,,how this whole thing will end up. Otherwise why should a republican worry about whom to vote for in dem prrmary?) In the beginning the republicans were supporting Obama thinking at the end, he will be a easy opponent for the Republican candidate. (I heard it from a republican active member). Now they don't know how it will go. The worst thing will be a co-ticket of Hillary-Obama for them. Obama , as VP can keep his distance from Hillary in the media, if he wants to keep his pretensions of a saint. He can first work on the international trouble and show us that he is good and not really an anti-Israeli Muslim sympathizer as we suspect. Let Hillary work on the home ground with her economy and health care agenda. Obama-Hillary will not work, because that looks more like a "tag-along- would n't let go" picture. Next term Obam should run with Bill Richardson as VP.
Comment: McCain = Bush, Term #3
Comment: "McCain = Bush, Term#3"
Democratic Party or Democratic Candidates or any Presidential or Political Candidates for Office, including John McCain himself have my permission to use the above staement, equation or whatever in their TV or any ads freely.
It is important to highlight the core of his candidacy with respect to what has been in this country for the last 8 years.
Comment: Race is an issue, always has been, always will be...too many traditional differences.
In my view,a White American, voting for Obama,is the equavelent of Jewish people
voting for Hitler...knowing that he has every intention of stripping them of all of your
rights and murdering them in concentration camps...Obama is NO PATRIOT,he is
no man of integrity, he is guilty of anarchy and should stand trial and be hung
GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Comment: here is a sample of America you are going to see in November: If dems have any sense, get on with the negotiations. I don't know what kind of game they are playing.
Comment: Ok, so McCain was originally against the war. But now that Bush pushed us into it, isn't it logical that we win it? Perhaps he'll get some good economic advisors to prop up him up since it's not his forte.
And in order to be vetted, perhaps Obama will get some good economic advisors, foreign policy advisors, and a geography tutor.
Comment: Though I, my family, and my classrooms for the large part support Senatro Obama, he must watch his back. Clintonian politics and rhetoric has a way of distorting the truth and arrogantly laughing at the rest of us on their way into power.
Comment:
OBAMA Camp has also been pushing non stop distort truths...here are 3 examples.
Three Myths About the Democratic Race
by Peter Daou3/24/2008 11:26:17 AM
3) MYTH: For Hillary to win, super delegates must "overturn the will of the people."
FACT: The race is virtually tied, the "will of the people" is split, and both candidates need super delegates to win.
The Obama campaign and Sen. Obama's surrogates have engaged in a sustained public relations effort to convince people that the election is over and that if super delegates perform their established role of choosing a candidate who they believe will make the best nominee and president, they are somehow "overturning the will of the people." They have the audacity to make this argument while quietly and systematically courting those very same super delegates. They are courting them because they know that Sen. Obama needs super delegates to win. The Obama spin is being parroted daily by pundits, but it is patently false. The race is virtually tied; the "will of the people" is split. By virtually every measure, Hillary and Sen. Obama are neck and neck -- separated by less than 130 of the more than 3,100 delegates committed thus far and less than 1% of the 27 million+ votes cast, including Florida and Michigan. Less than 1%.
An incremental advantage for one candidate or the other is hardly a reason for super delegates to change the rules mid-game. Despite the Obama campaign's aggressive spin and pressure, the RULES require super delegates to exercise their best independent judgment, and that is what they will do. Even Sen. Obama's top strategist agrees they should. If not, then why don't prominent Obama endorsers like Senators Kerry (MA) and Kennedy (MA), and Governors Patrick (MA), Napolitano (AZ) and Richardson (NM) follow the will of their constituents and switch their support to Hillary? After all, she won their states. And if this is truly about the "will of the people," then Sen. Obama's short-sighted tactic to run out the clock on a revote in Florida and Michigan accomplishes exactly two things: it disenfranchises Florida and Michigan's voters; and it hurts Democrats in a general election. Apparently, for the Obama campaign, the "will of the people" is
