    Comment: You have to look at the history of the country and region to understand that trying to impose our values and standards on those people is futile. The religious hatred between the Sunnies and Shiits goes back almost a thousand years. Look at how long the religious battle between the catholics and protestants went on in Ireland. And, that is a culture we have more in common with than the Middle East Muslims.
    Our stated goal when we went to war with Iraq was to stop the supposed threat that Saddam Hussien presented, not to change the way of life for an entire nation. The populace of Iraq is no longer unjustly ruled by an unjust government. So, if they want to sort it out themselves,let them. Look at the facts. More Muslims are killed in Iraq by other Muslims than any other group. Iraq is no longer a threat to American interests, if they ever REALLY were.
