    "THEY need to stop being homophobic and anti-Semitic" -- "they" being black Americans. What about white Americans? Don't they also need to stop being homophobic and anti-Semitic--not to mention racist, as the author of this column seems to be? (I am white, in case you're wondering.)

    You are assuming that Sen. Obama is a weak minded individual. When you stand for something, it is hard for you to fall for anything. I have been with my husband for 30 years and he hasn't gotten to think as he does yet!
