Comment: War,sucession,control and peace,these three are uphill task for conqueror.

The world has admitted that United States defeated largest Iraqi army and occupied a oil-producing country in the name of weapons of mass destruction but you all knew that more than six lacs of people were killed during and after the the war including innocent women and childern.

Fact of the day is that war is still going on,american millitary and allied forces is in action today against,they described them as terrorists.

There is no peace,law and order situation and safety of common man as well.people has begun remember Saddam's rule.

My question is that being a supper power they can not impose peace in the region why?

United States has vast sources inspite of it he looks failed.America can see the ways through which insurgency penetrates into the country and destroy hoorible situation.In this way,american credibility,ablility and leadership's
eligibility has become a sign of interogation before the political wisdom.

Comment: The state department made a horrible istake in taking the decision regarding the invasion on Iraq,

In fact, basic target was Saddam,there were other options removing Saddam from power but not considered any of them.and adopt ed a way of destruction.

Five years on,no any remarkable change has come to,bloodshed,combat,insurgency,unrest civilwar deteriorating law and order situation is stand it has esclated to other areas like Afghanista and pPakistan's trible areas.

What is the right direction to resolve this heinous problem.Which way to be adopted so that peace may enter into the Iraqi land smeared with blood of Americans and Iraqi.

It is wrong to say United States alone can solve this complicated issue, no never it will have change its view regarding the peace.It will have change its policies toward Iraq and other places where war is being fought on the name terrorism.

According to my considered view, a peace conference be called as soon as may be,consisting of Iran,syria,Pakistan,India.China must be included in it.

A consensus be created so that a unanimous decision may be taken .In case,all the countries has come to the conclusion and resulting in prepared a formula in re to present crisis. War war like situation may be removed and peace take place in without any delay.

Comment: I think, by the way, that is true Bush killer Sadam, 'cause "Sandam" killed Bush' father. The psychologist are really correct when explain it. This is a transfer. I think no one can into in another place without has the permission to do it. That are people said:"God sent Bush to save Iraq", but I believe God send and use persons to save another, but isn't this case. Bush go to Iraq between the army to save the Iraq' people but the Iraq's people, don't want this. This is the mistake, in my opnion.

Comment: My book Both In One Trench: Saddam's Secret Terror Documents examines many of these same documents in detail (and more) in greater historical context. It is quite clear that Saddam was deeply involved in Islamic terrorism and had many connections to al Qaeda core leadership. There is even evidence that he directly influenced al Qaeda and the Taliban and at the very least funded those groups.

About the Yasin matter, do not dispel the probablility that Saddam was lying for his ministers as this was probably the greatest secret in his regime. If anybody could have solidly linked Yasin to the regime in the mid 90's he would have been long gone. Even Clinton would have had to respond with regime change.

Saddam lied to his ministers all the time.

And Paul Pillar is a liar. The EIJ did not formerly merge with UBL's al Qaeda until 1998. However, Zawahiri and Usama bin Laden were working together in the early 90's. They both claimed credit for the attacks in Mogadishu. The both were associated with the NIF in Sudan which was hosting them there. Pillar is the one playing words games. He has lied about this before and will continue to lie to cover his own incompetence.

Comment: I have lived in this country for many long years, having witnessed WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, Iraq, and a few of our small invasions around the world, but on this one that we now have in Iraq, the shock and awe are all mine. I was shocked and awed to see it commence with the most spurious of contrived reasons, and cannot believe that we have tolerated it for so long. You have to indulge in make believe to support it any at all. Democracy emerges from the interior of the society that is so fortunate to have it, and to even attempt to force it from the exterior of a society which has little understanding of what it is, then you simply glorify folly much beyond its usual dignity. We are figuratively spitting into the wind and it continues to blow back upon us.

Comment: When you want to go to war badly enough, you need almost no intelligence at all, and if the supply is limited, then you can always spice up what you do have to make it fit your purpose. History will call this the "Blankety Blank" war. We just filled in the blanks and went to war. Then, as each original reason proved inadequate, we simply made up another reason from the fabric of the war that we had started. The war itself generated "self justifying" reasons. One, as an example, was based in the fact that Al Qaeda did not exist in Iraq before the war, but after we started it, they came in large numbers to the scene of our debacle, and we conveniently justified our presence and continuation in the fact that Al Qaeda was there. When you have the creative leadership that we have enjoyed for the past seven years, the reasons to continue are infinite, some great ones no doubt yet to emerge.

Comment: Did we find any documentation for the reason, and the places of mass murder? or any documentation about the "suicide" of Abou-Nidal (a known fanatic, and terrorist)? coming from a middle eastern background, I could clearly see that the problem here, is that we are looking at the fact from a purely American perspective. In order for you to get the explanation around many important issues such as, the Al Qaada links with Saddam's regime, Weapons of mass destructions... you need to think as a middle eastern person (Iraqi more specifically), and you will soon understand why there is no documentation around any of what you are looking for!

  Comment: My point is that there is no evidence of a planned Libyan assassination attack on Bush Sr. It was a concoction of the 1986-88 Libyan desk at the White House, manned by Vincent Cannistraro and Howard Teicher. In the documentary film mentioned elsewhere in my previous comment, Cannistraro boasts that it was he who drafted the "Libyan disinformation campaign strategy" for Bush Sr, and that the President accepted and worked with it.
  
  There exist many emails and telexes from the Tower Commission files in which senior government members and CIA agents openly discuss targets, assassinations, covert rendition programmes etc. They are all available in "White House Email" published in 1995 by the National Security Archive of America, edited by Tom Blanton. I suggest you read it. It might change your views about whether a nation should ever trust a president and his entourage.

Comment: I omitted to mention that the documentary film The Maltese Double Cross was on the subject of the 1988 Lockerbie bombing. I guess that very few American citizens are aware that the legal issues are still running, with the possibility of a second appeal by convicted Libyan Al-Megrahi due later in 2008.
Meanwhile there exists a secret report said to concern the only fragment of the Lockerbie bomb every found. The US government and British government are preventing access to the report by the Al-Megrahi defence team, on the grounds that the report adversely affects "national security".
Yes, you've heard it before, often.

Comment: In a parallel disinformation campaign, Howard Teicher, former adviser to the NSC alongside Vincent Cannistraro, produced the following information.
In 1993, Teicher was filmed for a documentary film The Maltese Double Cross. He was asked about the 1986 - 88 reports which he and Cannistraro had circulated regarding Libya's infiltration of agents into the United States with orders to assassinate President Ronald Reagan. All that Teicher could offer as proof was to imply that it had all along been a concoction of former CIA chief William Casey: "There was intelligence information which could not be absolutely confirmed, that Gaddafi was indeed interested in killing President Reagan. It is true that since then people have argued that this was a fabrication by CIA Director Casey. Of course, with Casey dead, no-one can know for sure what was Casey's agenda and whether, indeed, this information was fabricated."
Casey died of a brain tumour in 1987, at the commencement of the Iran-Contra trial of Oliver North. Teicher added, for good measure: "It is certain that Gaddafi sent people to America to kill Libyan dissidents. No doubt about that. Whether some people may have twisted information that dealt with those individuals into stories alleging a conspiracy against President Reagan, may be true, or may not be true."
As a further interesting point, one hundred and fifty copies of the documentary film were posted to bereaved relatives in the US. Not a single copy reached its destination. A CIA agent was heard to boast that the US spent $20 million preventing the film being shown in the US. Welcome to the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.
