Correction
In "Mysteries and Complications" (March 24), we said that the MMR vaccine once contained thimerosal. It did not. Other childhood vaccines, however, did contain the mercury-based preservative. NEWSWEEK regrets the error.

Comment: The Power of his Personality

It is naive for Senator Obama to suggest that the power of his personality is capable of re-writing over 200 years of U.S. democracy. Our government is superglued together in a hive of mutual protection where the queen is, "Greed" and is protected at all costs. Men and women greater than Senator Obama have realized that politics are a game, with very specific rules, and therefore, it is unrealistic to believe that just by becoming President of The United States, one will be able to convince the power brokers of our planet to politely, hand over control. If he is able to survive the Republican machine, which will be running at full speed, he will be useless, and accomplish nothing, because he is not willing to play the, "ONLY" game that exists.

Comment: I totally agree with the previous comment - why do you bother to pay Jonathan Alter a salary since he obviously must be paid by the Obama campaign. YOU are supposed to be an unbiased news organization, which you have definitely lost. After 12 years of subscribing, maybe it is time to check out Time magazine and see if they are at least unbiased. Shame on you!!

Comment: I am not a likely voter for Hillary Clinton. I am an Obama fan. However, I am not going to renew my subscription to Newsweek this year, because of the horribly biased reporting in your magazine. You have not been fair to Clinton. Shame on you! Maybe you should reflect on the source of your obvious bias.
