We ' ve seen in a number of polls recently the issue of trustworthiness, that you are consistently ranked lower than your rival. Our most recent NEWSWEEK Poll shows the same trend. And what do you do about it? It ' s not just Bosnia, it ' s broader.
If you have been subjected to incredible criticism, some of it justified—most of it not, in my opinion—for as long as I have, there is a lot of psychological research which is very clear that if someone says something negative about a person, even if it is disproved, there is a residue of perception that's left. I think it's a miracle that I'm doing as well as I am, that I'm in a close competition to be the Democratic nominee, that most people, if given the time, sort through all this stuff about me and they conclude that they can count on me to fight for them.

What do you carry with you from that experience when you grew emotional in New Hampshire? Have there been times where you find yourself going, " Oh, I ' m doing too much policy, turn back to the heart " ?
The idea that there is the me who cares about policy and then there's the "real me" just totally misunderstands me. I have worked my entire life to change and improve conditions for people. That's very important to me, because that's how I judge myself. I'm not asking someone to marry me. I'm asking them to vote for me ... So, yes, I give the same speeches, talk about the same solutions over and over again, because I want someone to walk away from [a Clinton] event saying, "You know, I really liked that idea about taking the $55 billion away from special interests and I think she'll do it," instead of, "Aaaah, what a wonderful speech. And what does it mean? I don't know, but it sure made me feel good."

Comment: Brimming with unabashed arrogance and a numerical argument that is clearly flawed, Senator Clinton has been asked to withdraw regardless that it has been repeatedly said that neither candidate can accrue enough pledged delegates to win the nomination. That "Clinton and Obama remain statistically tied with John McCain in matchups" further repudiates Leahy's rationale, Emmanuel's arguments-- rife with cynicism, Richardson's hubris, and Ms. Pelosi's posturing which is helping the GOP exponentially, it's sad. Silence can be a good thing, especially if it's Flordians who truly need to be silenced.

Comment: Hillary Clinton needs to take her big mouth husband Bill and go crawl in a hole...they both are a bunch of whiners....I don't think anyone would admit that Rendell was having problems with the voting machines....smells like voter fraud...if I recall, in the early goings, Obama was leading.....I think Ed Rendell is a big crook & he is a racist himself...not to mention, "the pot can't talk about the kettle"...no one mentioned that Rendell is shown prasing Rev. Wright, not to mention how he applauded Farrakhan....everyone kept that quite, so how can Clinton/Rendell crucify Obama, when they are both seen in pictures on different occasions, hobnobbing together....what a Hypocrite....now people, that tells two things...Rendell & Clinton both, could care less about the less fortunate, except to win their votes, or the people in Ohio & PA have been hoodwinked & are very gullible....If my memory serves me correctly, Cuyahoga county (Cleveland) had 22 boxes of ballots that were not counted, one middle-aged couple (witnessed) in Cincinnati witnessed voter fraud...so I wonder how many extra votes that Hillary received from Gov. Rendell expecially with a few broken machines....we all will never know the truth....Kucinich stopped short of having a recount in New Hampshire because he had "inside information" that there was voter fraud....the only reason she barely eased by in Texas, because the Republicans voted for Hillary so that she will be the candidate to run against John McCain....why?....because McCain can beat Hillary....what a bunch of gullible people in this world....it is no wonder other countries in the world have no respect for the US....they see the same Racism & Bigotry that happens to people of other ethnic backgrounds from around the world, happening right in the US.....Hillary & Bill have lied their way for eight years, & no one wants to see them back in the whitehouse, except those who are afraid of "Change"...if Hillary cannot manage a campaign, how in the world can she manage a Budget...also if she is so sleepy, that she "Misspeaks about something as serious as Sniper fire..(not to mention that she did it 5 times in different states)...and to blame it on the fact that she was tired and sleepy....is that the kind of response you would expect from a Pres....one thing we know for sure...Rush Limbaugh is succeeding with his intentions...to have everyone vote for Hillary....maybe the voters don't that Republicans are voting for Hillary so that she can run against John McCain & lose... ..
