Comment: The pope is the anti-christ. Hopefully someday people will begin to realize that. I'd piss on his ring if he put it in my face.

Mother Theresa and those like her should deserve respect, not the money-hungry, flashy, so called "holy man".

Comment: As a Catholic, I am ashamed the Vatican would even let the pope come visit Bush. I thought the vatican prohibited the pope meeting with ruthless criminal dictators who murder innocent people? Bush is responsible for lying about WMD in Iraq, killing over 4,000 US Soldiers and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. Even more insulting is that he and his administration condone torturing war prisoners including waterboarding. Not only is Bush responsible for running the country into the ground financially by spending billions of dollars a week on a wasted war, he and his administration is the biggest disaster to ever hit the free world. One has to look no further than his bungling of Katrina and his administrations inhumane treatment of the victims of the storm. Is that the kind of example the vatican wants to implicity condone? I thought better of the Catholic church until they had the pope visit Bush, shame on them.

Comment: F uck the pope. This is the same guy who claimed the molestation charges were merely hype played up by the media. What a joke. He will continue hiding the child abuse that is rampant in the catholic church until next year when he cannot control his bowels and cant give a speach without s hitting his robes. Then he is replaced by a youger more vibrant 80 year old pope who will be equally as irrelavent.

Comment: I am so very happy with Pope Benedict XVI visit to the United States. My complements to EWTN for the minute-by-minute coverage of the Holy Father.
What touched me so very much is The Holy Father who took time out of his very busy schedule to visit the handicapped and you could see he really wanted to be there and it was not fake but entirely natural.
You see these Bishops, priest and other clergy who are afraid to step up their true being and would rather not be around because they are afraid or do not know the true meaning of unconditionally love that these handicapped little people give daily. This really gave me hope that the Catholic Church will change and not continue to give an ambiance of ???Greatness??? Priest living, eating and socializing with the upper class because these are the people that give of their wealth. Little do these priest know that these people will give regarding.
Now, for something that almost made not continue to watch Pope Benedict coverage here from other media that some of the media were provided private audience with the Pope in Washington and were awarded medals by the Holy Father. The Upper Catholic???s Bishops, Archbishops, Etc just made me a unhappy person, and then I had to self talk to myself that it was not the Holy Father, but those stupid upper class Bishops who wanted to look good in our Nations Capital. It just shows how the Catholic Church can spoil something as great as Pope Benedict visit. The person who should have been given the Medals is Mother Angelica and the network that she started who made the message of Pope Benedict and former popes available to the world. What would have been a plus in the Archdioceses hat would have to acknowledge Mother Angelica who at the age of 85 years old, would have look good in the Washington Bureau Eyes.
This is what I say the Catholic Church within the United States needs to make sure their Catholic Bishops are on the same wavelength with Pope Benedict XVI

SERIOUSLY. You are giving him credit this. Here is a clue moron-The pope does not have to take time out of his schedule for stuff like that because his whole schedule is filled with stuff like that. What the f uck else would he be doing?

Comment: Now that Pope Benedict XVI is back in the Vatican, what remains to be seen is whether or not the bishops of the United States take to heart what he has said in regard to the continuing clergy sexual abuse scandal in the church.

One suggestion I would make would be that the bishops follow the pope's injunctions and stop opposing bills in state legislatures that are aimed at protecting all children and support "Window Legislation" of at least a year or two that would allow all those sexually abuse by anyone when they were children, to seek redress in civil court.

This is the 60th anniversary of the UN Declaraction on Human Rights -

This is Child Abuse Awareness Month -

This is a Right to Life Issue -

In the State of Delaware we have totally removed all criminal and civil statutes of limitation regarding the sexual abuse of children and have included a two year "Window" as well which will remain open until July 10, 2009.

If you or anyone you may know was ever abused as a child in the State of Delaware, you and they have until July 10, 2009 to register intent. Visit -

Comment: I wonder why the Pope did not meet with the devil's American ambassador while he was here. Surely she could have taken a few minutes away fom her busy campaign to arrange a meeting. Then again, maybe he already knows what she would have to say.
