New Orleans' cultural institutions make a post-Katrina comeback

Since Hurricane Katrina New Orleans arts community has struggled to keep the city steeped in its rich cultural traditions. Newsweek had photographers Charles Latham and Lori Waselchuk, members of the local New Orleans Photo Alliance, create a photo essay of the community to highlight some of their latest achievements in the fine arts, architecture, music and cuisine.
