The struggle continues between Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe and the opposition

As the waiting continues, the violence gets worse. By all accounts, Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe lost a March presidential election to his rival Morgan Tsvangirai. But weeks after the polls closed the autocratic leader refuses to announce the results and will not concede defeat. The delay is seen as a stalling tactic intended to buy Mugabe time while he tightens his grip on his now decrepit southern African nation. His cadres are roaming rural areas, beating up those they say voted for the opposition. In the capital of Harare, police have raided the offices of Tsvangirai's Movement for Democratic Change and seized voting records. Here, a rare glimpse inside the troubled country.
