    Comment: Regarding Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr.: The media imply that Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. is an Obama supporter. From Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. 's National Press Club talk, it is clear that he is not a supporter of Obama. That speech was given knowing that it would damage Obama. So to whom does Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. 's political support go? Undoubtedly, it goes to Clinton! Would not such a declaration or revelation be damaging to Clinton? White anti-Obama voters would certainly have to find another reason to justify their preference for Clinton. Perhaps such voters will finally admit that the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. issue was a ruse and the real reason for not voting for Obama is that he is phenotypically a black person.

    Comment: When Obama was recently asked again about his commitment to Israel, he said exactly the right thing except for one word which, not surprisingly, no one is his media picked up on . He stated that the Palestinians were entitled to a contiguous state. Just where is he planning on demanding that Israel be cut in half for a strip of Palestine to run through Israel. Be wary of this man. An idea like that would do nothing but explode the Middle East and I don't think that America wants to go down in history in taking part in the destruction of yet another country.

          As for your points, you made no valid points to disprove. The intelligence from all the sources you quoted (including the UN) did lead to the attack in Iraq. The US people were behind Bush to go into Iraq (again check your history). The UN gave Saddam chance again and again to cooperate and he snubbed his noses. They had WMD's (even in the first gulf war). They used the time wasted jerking around the UN to move and hide them. They did harbor terrorists intent on killing Americans. The US was not the only country to go up against Iraq as your posts "IMPLY" by blaming Bush. Many of the things you post are historically and blatantly incorrect and need no "disproving". The only constant is your attempt to push the beliefs and agenda of AlJazeer news and Terrorist desires. I suppose you think you and your son would be safe from terrorist attacks in your own home - that there is no chance they could get you, right? 9/11 should have been your wake up call. Ignoring the threat did not stop them from attacking us (look up your history during Clintons presidency and you will see that failed method). So, would you rather we fight them over there, or in our streets? Either way, they want You, me and every other American DEAD. Your nice speaches aren't going to change that. They want a weak president and weak policies - that makes their desires easy. Hell, my 9 yr old son wants to be a Marine and go over there now. Your actions and comments are a discredit to what he and the rest of our armed forces are doing.

              Forget the health care issues, conservative gun rights issues, etc. Bottom line is we need someone who is more interested in keeping America safe and free, than someone who is more concerned with special interests and having everyone like him....

                Comment: Well now you're geting a little calmer, my reason fot not joining was physical (petella R-knee). however for the record, neither my son, who proudly serves (as he was raised) nor my Brother in Law (Chief Warrant Officer) or for that matter my cousin (Staff Sergeant, hit by IED, survived), my great uncle (former drill instructor) DO NOT support the IRAQ occupation/police action. All of the above see a major issue in Afghanistan, as do I, for that matter we never have bombed Suadi Arabia, 15 of the 18 were from Saudi.

                BTW you totally outed yourself there with your "drive by media" as a fan of the comedian, Douche Limbaugh...shame, that's almost worse than Orally or Seanica HanniLewinsky...Cspan, Associated Press, BBC, Aljazera, combine them and you get pretty clear view of whats left out by the MURDOCK media.

    Comment: Here's the joke. Bob Lonsberry said it best this morning on talk radio. Politicians play this game that we all fall for. They use whatever we care about and dangle it in front of us in an effort to get our vote. It is like dangling the carrot hanging from a stick to get the donkey to pull the cart. The donkey will pull, but never reach the carrot (the stick doesn't get any shorter). Politicians do the same to the rest of us. Both Parties play the game. Example: Rep will tell promise gun owners that he will fight for concealed permits to be honored in every state. Dem will promise universal health care. Both promises are empty and nearly impossible because they will meet resistance in congress. Yet they continue to dangle the carrot to get the vote. Once elected, they wait to the next period to promise the same thing. They continue to play on our emotions, seldom delivering. It works in their favor to not deliver. Once in office, if they deliver, they no longer have the emotions to play on next time. Think about it. Whether you are conservative or liberal, what has your candidate ever really come through on? They also have us playing their game. A rep will say, yeah he is worthless but I can't vote for the Dem, the Dem will say yeah my candidate is worthless but I can't vote for a Rep. So the circle continues and we all suffer for it. They have us blame the other for the country problems, always focusing on the other party as being at fault. It is quite the game they play and we fall for and fight against each other. All the while they maintain the power.

    Comment: I believe you will you see more and more people come out to vote in the general election. Yes they will be terrified at the prospect of Obama as President. His scandals will be worse than those of not only the Clinton's but the Kennedy's as well. You want to talk about murderers? The Kennedy's have their share of murderers whom have been charged and convicted. They also have rapists in their mist. I won't touch Kerry because he is a hero himself, however he became a weak candidate for the democrats. Obama will probably hire Hillary to author his agendas, because he has no clue. All his plans have been Hillary's with changed words and adjustments.
    Whoever gets into office will not see the fruit of the economy until after they leave office. Too many outsources have contracts of 6 years plus. I know of one company who outsourced their jobs oversees. They regret it but they have a contract for 6 years. It just started last year. So the next President will still be in the same predicament with slumping economy. I just heard the bridges in California are going up again to $5 from $4. People who make $20 an hour minus $4 for bridge toll, another $10 daily to go to work is has lost $ already. Our economy is what it is. Our homeless rate will go up even more.
    The President will inherit a slumping economy and depending on the house and senate majority nothing will change.
    You young people will need to learn to give up your extravagance because you will not be able to afford car payments, gas, insurance, housing, food, healthcare, utility costs. All the makings of the quality of life.
    Guess who will get the blame for that, the President.

        Comment: WE KNOW the lie detector test was rigged. The person reading the results was not who/what he was presented to be. He WAS NOT a Ph.D as implied. WE KNOW that Whitehouse .com lied. They had promised to release the test and results for public scrutiny. They refuse. WE KNOW Sinclair's lawsuit is proceeding and he has one of the nations premier attorney taking his case. Obama will call on McCain to speak out against the negative adds and if he doesn't he will look bad. If he does by putting on a front and they continue to run the adds he will look like he has no control over his own party.

    Obama will continue to stay above the fray despite some people's calls for him to get his hands dirty. Obama will probably take a few gentle shots at McCain by tying him to Bush, the war, his lack of knowledge of the economy, his failure to connect with minorities, the poor and the youth, but don't expect Obama to ever be nasty (HRC - "Meet me in Ohio").

    Lots of people thought that Obama supporters were going to abandon him once we figured out that he was not perfect. Guess what? We all know he is not perfect, but we still like him more than any other candidate and we are working our hearts out to get him in the WH. Once he's in we will continue to give our all to finally take the country away from the small minded people who think small. We are tired of a divided nation of Blacks, Whites, Hispanics, rich, poor, Rep and Dem. Obama's message is one of unity and all the noise that people trying to throw out there to derail this movement will not work because this is more than about Barack Obama; it's about the the future of America.

      Comment: If he goes up against McCain in the Fall it is a whole different ballgame. I definitely want to vote democrat but I have not as much faith in what he can really get accomplished. I know he is for change, unity and such but my focus is on how capable is he to roll up his sleeves to get issues and problems solved. Maybe in time he may grow on me should he become the nominee because I do not want to vote for McCain if he is more of the same ...nor do I want to Not Vote. Guess time will tell. We still have aways to go.

        I don't have the magic words to make you vote for Obama, but let me say this...the more people like you and me get behind him the more he will accomplish. Put him in office and hold him accountable, but also do your part. Unlike a lot of othe politicians Obama is challenging us to make this country by sacrificing. We can't make college affordable, balance the budget, give teachers raises, reduce CO2 emissions, implement universal health care and save Social Security without making some sacrifices. If you have been a Hillary fan all this time you may not have taken the time to learn how he plans on asking college students to pay off their student loans and get the people that earn higher incomes to help save Social Security, and close the Rep's loopholes for their friends to pay fund reach for renewable energy. Give him a chance and you will see that he is worthy of your vote.

How many after this long in war... oh abt 4000. To lose lives is not good, but it happens in War. More people were lost in TRAINING for the landing at Normandy than lives lost in this entire war (think about that - "TRAINING").

      What about the lives lost in Obamas home state from crime, vehicle accidents, etc. What has he done about that. (Now I know that applies to every public official and I am using him as an example for your benefit). Since you are so worried about lives lost, maybe you can jump on that bandwagon and get rid of vehicles, after all more people have died each year from vehicles than lives lost in the war...

      War is not the answer for everything - But a time comes when war is necessary. Under Clinton, terrorists struck the US again and again with nothing more than a weak scolding that if they do it again we will retaliate. Yet like the idle threat many parents make to their children - with no follow through - the terrorists became bolder and bolder until they struck on 9/11. Unfortunately for them, there was a president in office who wouldn't put up with their crap any longer. Would you be ok for the terrorists to wipe out your family without retaliation?

      As for taking care of anyone, you see, that is the socialistic crap I was talking about. You can't take care of yourself so you want the government to do it for you and for everyone else. No thanks - Id much rather be independant and free.

It is the term "Ex-Marine" that is absolutely not accepted by ANY Marine. Maybe you should ask your family members who you say served as Marines - it's doubtful, but maybe they can teach you something. You must feel real proud of yourself, you can insult a US Marine thanks to the safety and cover of internet without worrying about being beat or killed. What a man you are....
