Comment: YAHOO???S SHAREHOLDERS LOST ON MORE THAN ONE FRONT

Great to see that cool heads have finally prevailed at Microsoft. Nevertheless, it was a seriously missed opportunity by Yahoo shareholders.

They should have been more vocal. Now it's too late. Their board did not serve them well.

Comment: When Time inc. merged with Warner Bros., and later, when Time Warner merged with AOL, I didn't particulaly care, as long as specific services that I used still remained good (such as Warner's movies, Time inc.'s "People" magazine, etc.). ...Likewise, a merger between Microsoft and Yahoo (IF it does eventually happen), probably won't bother me if ALL of their respective services maintain their favorable qualities. (I'll let the stock investors worry about whether or not THEY would be pleased by a merger.)
