Comment: One thing I don't understand, Michigan-Florida make early voting SO THEY WERE OUT OF COUNTING, and in the other hand Hillary must drop becasue if she go to the very end, the final nominee will not have enough time to defeat McCain... In other sight Mr. Obama has won all open Caucuses where republicans crossovers can vote and make difference, that's fair? Other thing is al medai gives Obama winner on NC before the first vote were counted.. unfair also, besides the media has all polls must wait until teh last vote is counted.. that is DEMOCRACY!!!!

Comment: Hillary is playing politics, the worst kind of low-ball politics.

I am white, and female, and middle aged, and Republican, and I am voting for OBAMA.

Hillary insults both women and whites when she asserts that we are all both racist and stupid.

Get a life, Hillary, and stop pandering to the least common denominator. One of the reasons I am disaffected from the Republican party is because of the way they have tried to manipulate the gun-toting bible-thumping undereducated electorate.

A true leader will unite people around a higher cause, not divide them along lines of distrust and hatred.

Obama is a true leader, and a true Christian. Anyone who can't see this is falling victim to media manipulation. Hillary is imitating the tactics that dragged the once-proud GOP into the mud, and away from the hearts and minds of millions of thinking Republicans.

I still uphold Republican values. The good old-fashioned ones that founded our republic. And I am voting for Obama, who is truest to these values, despite his liberal ideas.

Comment: Honey, the only people maligning Clinton voters is Clinton herself. She didn't have to single you out. Everyone seems to blame Obama's voters. He is not running on racism, she is. You guys have issues with her and need to have her address them. Ask her why she said that. She really owes you an explanation.

    • Posted By: Nins @ 05/11/2008 17:10:44

Comment: Dear Etta, Thank you for calling me "lovely-tounged." How poetic. I try to remain civil, even when angry or impassioned about a cause. But remember, this civility is not some kind of sleight-of-hand, it is a true commitment to resolving disagreements in positive, consensus-building ways. This is what makes Obama stand head and shoulders above the other presidential candidates, all of them, with the exception of Huckabee, who also is a gentleman.

If some Obama supporters have maligned you or other Clinton supporters, then I personally apologize for them. And I want to reassure you that it is not the intention of Obama or his campaign to speak poorly of Clinton. There are many real things in the Clintons' past that could be dredged up and used against her. Obama has not indulged in this, even as she threw mud and falsehoods at him, impugning his character and misrepresenting him to the public. This shows Obama's fortitude and his "turn the other cheek" Christian values. Many of us watching this drama unfold are realizing this, and seeing it's value to our nation.

I urge you to vote for whomever you wish. But don't make fun of the "lovely-tounged" good manners.

Comment: People criticize Hillary for not having a game plan for winning the nomination. But they overlook the fact that Obama does not have a game plan for winning the general election. Which is worse? His campaign from the start was all about winning delegates. A numbers game. He focused on those states that held caususes not primaries. The latter are far more democratic. The only primary he won was North Carolina, a "racially lopsided election." He lost the big states, including all the battleground states - OH, PA, FL, MI, and IN. He lost the rural and blue-collar vote in droves. He lost the hispanic votes, and he's now on the verge of losing the Jewish vote for good. He doesn't have a coalition beyond the pundits, the left wing and the black population. McCain is sitting in an excellent position. Hispanics like him because of his immigration policies. Jews like him because of his hard line on Hamas and Iran. Rural and blue-collar voters prefer him over Obama. All McCain has to do to defuse Obama entirely is pick Colin Powell or Condi Rice as his running mate. Then it's a total blowout.

Comment: Okay, we should all vote for Hillary because her campaign is based on lying to the American people about anything to get a vote. Man, you guys are really thick. That's why the polls show a division between smart people and dumb people who have kept this country hostage for 40 years with let's lie to get voted campaign. You guys are the smartest, I tell you.

Listen, dummy, no one can give you a plan until they know what the situation is. Do you know what the world will look like in Jan. It's getting worse so common sense here, how can you solve a solution when you don't know how bad the problem is until you get there. See, that's why the smarts have gravatated and you don't have sense to follow your smart counterparts.

  • Posted By: Factarereal @ 05/11/2008 4:18:15 AM

Comment: Why May 20? The answer is simple.

Before Michigan and Florida were stripped off their delegates, the magic number was still 2025. Common sense and simple mathematics makes it clear that without the delegates of these 2 states the magic number is far far below 2025. Having said that, it is also clear that Obama is closed to even the 2025, and he has even passed the expected number without the delegates from both Michigan and Florida being considered. Another point to add here is that, even with the delegates from Michigan and Florida (shared between the 2 candidates in any ratio), Obama will still lead in the delegates count. So, why does he have to wait so that evil people in the Democratic party change things at the convention? Again, the list of all undecided superdelegates are available, and the whole world will know which undecided superdelegate influenced the breaking apart of the Democratic party, should they try to change things in favour of Hillary.

The last point that I want to make is ....History will advice Obama that he will be making a big mistake in his life to pick Hillary tas his running mate. Kennedy made a mistake and picked Johnson as his running mate, they won the election and what happened? Johnson succeeded in killing him during his term of office. The Clintons have blood on their hands, and they will kill Obama in same way when Obama makes the mistake of picking Hillary as the running mate. ...."A word to the wise is enough...."

Comment: WASHINGTON, February 13, 2008 -- Accuracy in Media editor
    Cliff
Kincaid disclosed today that a hugely expensive bill called the
"Global Poverty Act," sponsored by Democratic Senator Barack Obama,
was quickly passed by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on
Wednesday and could result in the imposition of a global tax on the
United States. Kincaid said that the major media's cover-up of the
bill, which makes levels of U.S. foreign aid spending subservient to
the dictates of the United Nations, demonstrates the media's desire
to see Senator Obama elected to the presidency.

In a column posted on the AIM web site, Kincaid noted that Senator
Joe Biden, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, was
trying to rush Obama's "Global Poverty Act" (S. 2433) through his
committee without hearings. The legislation would commit the U.S. to
spending 0.7 percent of gross national product on foreign aid, which
amounts to a phenomenal 13-year total of $845 billion over and above
what the U.S. already spends. It was scheduled for a Thursday vote
but was moved up a day, to Wednesday, and rushed through by voice
vote. Kincaid learned, however, that conservative Senators have now
put a "hold" on the legislation, in order to prevent it from being
rushed to the floor for a full Senate vote.

The House version (H.R. 1302) was suddenly brought up on the House
floor last September 25 and was passed by voice vote. House
Republicans were caught off-guard, unaware that the pro-U.N. measure
committed the U.S. to spending hundreds of billions of dollars.
Kincaid's column notes that the official in charge of making nations
comply with the U.N. Millennium Goals, which are prominently
highlighted in the Obama bill, says a global tax will be necessary
to force American taxpayers to provide the money.

Enough reason for me not to vote for him!!!!!!!!!

Comment: I just have a final comment about this whole Rev Wright issue. For those of you questioning Obama's ties to Rev Wright and being so self righteous about it, I hope you're not Catholics or choose to remain Catholics even after several Catholic priests have been found to be sexually abusing YOUR children. I don't remember hearing any news about a mass exodus of church members from the Catholic church. That is not an issue but Rev Wright is???? Very sickening.

I also hope none of you are directly or indirectly related to KKK members because, well, if you didn't denounce your family or change your family name, that makes you very questionable doesn't it? Guilty by association and all.

Rev Wright's comments are inflammatory, divisive and wrong and should be strongly condemned. Obama did that. Abusing altar boys or hanging people because of their skin color is wrong and should be condemned!! Let the condemnations begin.........he who has no sin, let him cast the first stone.

"How is it not racist that the majority of blacks are voting for Obama".

The same way it is not necessarily racist that the majority of whites are voting for Clinton!

In the Maryland Senate election of 2006, 78% of African Americans voted for the white Democratic candidate against the black Republican candidate Michael Steele. Steele lost because African Americans voted overwhelmingly against him. It was not because he was black, it was becuase he was a Republican, and tied to the failed policies of G.W. Bush.

You should try enlightening yourself once in a while. You might find what you think is not necessarily reality!

Comment: Obama did better than expected in Indiana considering the Rev Wright contro - it goes to show that not all people are shallow or simple minded to pin someone else's views on another. In indiana, he also made gains with catholics. Hillary wans to make a big deal about white blue collars when Bill Clinton himself only won 39% of their votes in his 1st bid. It was blacks that carried Bill with 83% along with the latinos 63% and now the clintons want to play the race card. NY, NJ, CALI always go blue no matter what. Obama can win texas in the fall(remember, he only lost by 3% in the primary hint--hint) He also can carry michigan and PA - PA has the popular votes in philly which is heavily black which is a +..... Florida & ohio will be tough for him but with the right VP pick, he can do it. RNC know the Wright contro wont work - been there done that!!! the RNC & hillary tried to bring Obama down with the pastor issue right before the indiana and north carolina primaries and Obama still prevailed kicking hill's butt with the polls. So Rev Wright wont hold in the fall, especially if the DNC bring up McCain's Haggee issue. Just for the record, no democract can win in the fall without the black vote - that's undisputed!!!! so all those disillusioned people(or hillary supporters) who think blue-collar whites is a big deal, well, so is the nationwide black vote. Obama is better. He beat her fair & square. He just had a better campaign from the beginning

Look up the word pandering. Are you really someone who can be pandered?

This country needs to move forward and unite. Watch TV we are sinking very low. All this dumb bullshit about what someone's pastor is crap. Hillary had an opportunity to run a very honest and sincere campaign with the people in mind not to satisfy her ego. She has the uneducated followers which she has said herself. We have too many mixed children in this world and that stupid anger, racism, hatred because of the situation you're in needs to stop. Your anger keeps you in that situation. Comment: Thank you for your clarification. As I mother of multi-racial (Native American, African American, Caucasian) children, I appreciate your comments against racism in any form - having said that, I say we agree to disagree - just acknowledge that it does seem somehwat elitist for Obama supporters to constantly put down Clinton supporters as stupid, dumb, racist, uneducated (btw - while I have a college degree in Music and Psychology (double major), I absolutely do not believe that education equals intelligence - it is simply more knowledge - not that knowledge isn't a good thing, however, it is all relative - some of these so-called "uneducated, blue collar workers" have depths of knowledge in areas you may not know anything about, possibly may not be interested in - does that mean that that knowledge is any less worthwhile?-nor does it mean they are racist because they have a different experience than you) The behavior many of your are exhibiting here (on both sides - I'm not saying all of you) is not complimentary to your candidate - I cannot believe that either Obama or Clinton truly would approve of some of the things being said here "in their name". Especially those Obama supporters who consistently put down Clinton supporters and demonize her - I thought you supported Obama because he is "an agent for change"; "a new way", etc., etc. and that he didn't run his campaign using the "same old politics" (an assertion I actually question given some of the information now being revealed), but yet you go completely against that philosophy when you harangue Clinton supporters - in fact, the wounds that will keep many Clinton supporters from supporting Obama in the fall have been caused by the negative comments of these negative Obama supporters - you would serve your cause much better by simply giving positives of Obama without doing any negative comparison with Clinton - give us some important legislation he has passed in his one year in the U.S. Senate - give us his actual policy, not platitudes and not putdowns - maybe then the wounds can heal.

          • Posted By: fastwriter @ 05/10/2008 21:20:22

Comment: I understand what you're saying, the real issue here is that for someone running for the president of the US and tell the people who are voting for anything for votes, that's assuming people are dumb enough to believe you. She could have said we can work on things like a gas tax but she promised people, poor people, like me, a gas tax in three weeks knowing she couldn't do that. That is insulting and not fair. That's all. She could have been honest but she is constantly lying. Is that what you want for a president?

            • Posted By: Jules1227 @ 05/10/2008 21:41:57

Comment: Here's the difference in you and me - I don't have blind faith in Obama (nor Clinton, for that matter) - I recognize he is a politician like any other and while I like what I know about him, there's a great deal we don't know - and I don't think Hillary is as awful as you do - call me dumb or whatever - I'm probably older than you and have experienced a little more - maybe I'm jaded - but I'd like to know more before I sell him my soul. Additionally, the church thing still really troubles me - and no one has actually responded to my earlier comment about what if the tables were turned - what if Hillary was a member of a church (for 20 years, mind you - not 1 year, or even 5 - but 20) where she got married, baptized her children, used the pastor own words as inspiration for a book, and whose pastor spewed racist comments about african americans and jews - don't forget, Wright seems to hate Jews with the same fervor - what do you think would be said about her - do you think that the DNC would just stand by and do nothing? You can try to diminish that relationship as much as you want, but Barack himself turned to this man and this church "to find his black identify" - so much so, he called Wright his "mentor" - now that doesn't sound like someone you would have so little knowledge of that you wouldn't know what he truly believed. Not that Rev. Wright's anger is not somewhat justified and there is a great deal of truth to what he says, that is also a great deal of racist propaganda as well. I cannot simply "forget about it" - any more that you all can seem to forget (and blame Hillary on some level) that Bill cheated on Hillary, or that she lied about Bosnia sniper fire - not that I think you should either, but just realize that none of the candidates is a perfect human being, and we need to stop looking for them to be - again there was only one - JC.

Comment: Comment: Obama won the rural, blue-collar and white votes in Iowa, Wisconsin and other states before the Wright controversy broke out. It proves that white voters will vote for a black candidate as long as that candidate shares their values. The issue is not that Obama is black but that he has baggage. The GOP knows this and will amplify the Wright controversy. The problem for Obama will be connecting with rural, blue-collar, and religious voters. He can spend all the money he wants. Even outspending Hillary by 3:1 did not change the outcome. Axelrod claims that Obama does not need these voters to win the general election. It's an amazing claim and fits right up there with their bitter-church-gun thesis (total baloney). If one looks at 2000 and 2004, Bush won these voters in droves.

Obama's success is due mainly to his early momentum during the PRE-WRIGHT stage. He's now and forever in the POST-WRIGHT stage and is limping along, "warts and all," with a huge help from a "a racially lopsided primary," to the finish line.

Hillary, who started off weak, is now hitting her stride, connecting in a fundamental way with average everyday Americans, and not just women anymore. She is now seen as a more formidable opponent by the GOP, winning big in huge battleground states like OH, PA, IN, FL and MI (and doing so with far less money and political machinery than her opponent and far less favorable press coverage.) She will probably knock Obama's socks off in West Virginia and Kentucky. But it comes too late, especially when the media universally gangs-up on her and prematurely coronates Obama as the nominee.

Looking back, it's highly doubtful Obama would be where he is right now if the Wright story had broke out sooner. Perhaps Edwards would be the nominee, and Edwards would be a far stronger candidate than Obama in November.

The GOP could not be happier. Obama is their choice of candidate right now. Half of those who voted for Clinton say they won't vote for him in November. Both Rove and Rush are jumping up and down in delight. McCain has a serious chance of winning rural, blue-collar and religious voters, the same voters that helped Bush in the last two elections. He's strong with hispanics as well, due to his immigration policies, and the Jewish community, due to his tough stance on Hamas and Iran. If McCain picks Colin Powell, he can undermine Obama's strength with the black community. And then there's Condi Rice, which may be his ace in the hole. He can bag the women vote to boot.

McGovern, who lost the '72 election in a landslide, has just handed the batoon to Obama. It's a bad omen.

Obama as already divided up so many people and still hasnt fully explained his relationships with his spiritual advisor who he suddenly calls his former pastor when this is the very person who helped Obama with the name of his book. Obama also has been losing ground to the critical and core base of the Democratic Party. Do you reall ywant to take a chance with YOUR future with this man?

Comment: I believe that in the beginning Hillary did not believe that she had any competition. But as soon as Obama showed that he will be a contender Hillary pulled the race card and thats what made Obama much stronger. If she has a Civil Rights record then were does race come in. I believe that Hillary thought if she pulled the race card since there are more working class white americans in the U.S than black and they vote more over then she would get the vote. But obviously that was not the case. One of the real resons why Obama is out in the lead is the Tiger woods effect and what I mean is he is a consistent performer does not make mistakes and keeps a cool head at all times. He waits for the other compeditor to make a mistake while staying consistent and takes the lead. And Mrs. Clinton is making a moquery of the campain, apparently she told her voters yesterday not to vote for Obama even if he gets the nomination, Thats just like Scottie Pippen telling the team if he does not get Mvp over Jordan then he will make shure the team to looses and I think for her doing that she does not care for the american people. She can pay for gas and what ever else she wants shes rich. If it was about us if Mccain gets elected then we stay in the same rut were in now. And even now more of Mrs. Clintons Super delegates are moving to the other side because of this matter.

point 1 . hillary HAS BEEN a great person over the years but now she has reduced herself to to a woman who is definately having a power trip and an extreme narcisist , HAS ANYONE NOTICED THAT AFTER INDIANA WE HEAR NOTHING OF THE GAS TAX THAT HAS BEEN SO GOOD FOR US have u heard one mention, and then all this B.S. about if we were playing by republican rules she would have won already. she has long been thought of as a woman in an elusion false entitlement through the fact that she was first lady and one who SOLD HER DIGNITY when she stayed with her adulterous husband JUST for prestige and power SO ALL U WOMEN WHO FEEL SO EMPOWERED BY HER PLEASE THINK AGAIN all u so- called conservative Reagan democrats and small town blue collar people . BESIDES don???t forget that this WOMAN is keeping her bankrupt campaign running only so SHE CAN GET YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS TO REPAY THE MONEY SHE LENT HER CAMPAIGN and remember this woman just reported 109 million on tax returns . how low is that .

    POINT 2.
a majority of the super delegates are acting the fool and seem scared to back the presumptive nominee BECAUSE THEY FEAR REPRISAL FROM THE CLINTONS IF SHE CAN steal the elections , they are only thinking about their political futures , they all want a post in the next leaders whitehouse . i want to remind them THE BEST FORM OF DEFENSE IS OFFENSE , IF U ALL GO AGAINST HER SHE CAN NEVER GET BACK TO STAGE A REPRISAL AGAINST YOU but if u stay divided she will,.. WHY ARE ALL YOU GROWN MEN AFRAID OF THIS WOMAN? WHY? (JOHN EDWARDS especially you OBama blew out your state with a 14 point win yet u still cant back him with the people of your state WHY?

    POINT 3
IN A BEST OF SEVEN SERIES baseball or basketball if one team win the first 4 then they dont play the rest ITS OVER im sure people would love to see the other games BUT THE MATHS JUST DONT AD UP WHY PLAY THEM ...... IT TIME TO GET OUT HILLARY......

  • Posted By: the_shelton @ 05/10/2008 10:44:17 AM

Comment: The reason Hillary is staying in the race is so she can pressure the DNC and Obama into assuming her debts for this campaign. She will continue to run them up until she can force someone into a position that she won't have to eat the $10 million or so she is running up. Right now she is just trying to salvage her position. But if she pushes this too far and hurts Obama's chances, she will have no chance at running in 2012 because she will be the person who let another republican in for 2008.

What I would suggest, is that everyone get their pencils out and start writing down some substantial goals that you want for Obama to pursue. There is no way any of these candidates can go after a real health care program without either raising our taxes by a heathy percent or going after the suppliers of health care and causing some sort of reform there. There is no reason for a box of tissues to cost $6.00 and a room to cost $400. Something has to be done to bring those prices into check. And universal health care or employer sponsored health care is not going to bring those prices in. Maybe talk to your co-workers and get them to stop having their teeth whitened for $500 and having teeth plated for $3000, that could help the cost of insurance.

What exactly are we going to do for the economy? Not just bail us out, but do something to improve education and get us back on the track of technology leader of the world.

There are a lot of things to do, let's get to it.

You are missing the point - we decide who will win - not who you annoint. Obama may get the nomination but what everyone seems to be missing is that an awfully lot of us will not come together at the coronation. We're not racists, uneducated, or bitter as you obnoxious elitists charge, but we are moderate democrats who are damn angry about the degradation the media has put Mrs. Clinton through while kissing the feet of your created savior and we do maintain the right to vote for whomever we choose.

Comment: busby......I feel for your. The American media demonized Hillary Clinton at the start of the race between just her and Obama. Can only explain this by power hungry jealous Democratic politicians who feel they were slighted by the Clintons and are serving out their personal vendettas and its also possible with all that money Obama somehow received for his campaign , some of his surrogates may have bribed some media moguls. All this is quite possible. Then there is just plain stupidity and hate. There is no other way to explain it. Lot of people seem to forget while Hillary Clinton was fending off the vultures in the media , Obama got a free ride in the primary race. I really believe this cost Hillary Clinton a primary victory in 2 or maybe 3 states. Its pretty unfair. At the end of the day, no matter what the dumb old wise Dem party leaders do.....there will be a lot of pissed off people and a Democratic Presidential bid for the White House on shaky ground. Some say Hillary should split off into another party with her supporters. Be a Ralph Nader only she'll be much more formidable. Probabley win the Presidency too.

Comment: Part 3 of 3: I also hope that, instead of Repubs voting for Hillary (as Rush Limbaugh pushed for) that they are not actually crossing over and voting for Barack because they think he is beatable in November - I really hope that that is not true, and I really hope that those who voted for him in the primary do not get cold feet in November - as I said earlier, I am a Hillary supporter, but first I am a democrat and will always vote for a democrat. I'm sure my post will cause some of you to insult me, tell me I'm stupid, or trailer park trash, or racist, or a warmonger, or a slut, or, oh I don't know - you can fill in the blank if it makes you happy - I guess I'm just asking that people act like mature, respectful adults and not like sullen children (some Hillary supporters) or nastily gleeful children (some Obama supports) - I know, I know, too much to ask...

Comment: thank you for your thoughts. i am not a sullen child i am angry about the obvious MSM bias: the venomous attacks on Clinton and the lovefesting of Obama. I am angry that a woman has less of a chance than a man and I am angry that the MSM still doesnt get it. Hillary's not the one that has to make amends ot Obama. He's got his voters squarely behind him. He needs to campaign for hers and the MSM keeps pushing them away from Obama. It's her voters that keep the daily bashing and the use of race and the personal attacks: Beck calling Hillary "It" and many more that the MSM think are funny. And we are tired of hearing for her to quit. Theyve been telling her for months. Is that the only way obama can win? His first election he won by getting rid of his four democratic opponents and never faced a republican. do you want a president who keeps telling his opponent to get out so he won't lose? so yes i'm angry - more frustrated. sullen, no. the way they have treated Chelsea's mother is disgusting. Look at Chelsea to judge Hillary the person.Thank you for your thoughts...enjoyed.

Comment: Part 2 of 3: Another issue I have with this whole situation is that Obama supporters are constantly crying "racist", when it is said that blue-collar whites support Hillary more than he - and I don't doubt at all that many of those people are indeed voting against him because he is black, however, I would like to ask the question of how it is not racist that the majority of blacks are voting for Obama - the press and many of you have made such a big deal of Hillary, as you call it, "pulling the race card" - saying that she gets more of the blue collar vote than Obama and that they probably won't vote for him in November (which is more than likely true), but it is not made a big deal of when someone states that Obama will get the African American and youth vote because they will not vote for Hillary (because she is white? old? female?) (this is also likely true) - how is that any less bigoted? Racism/Sexism/Ageism will not end in this country until it is not acceptable from anyone, regardless of their color/gender/age. I personally like Obama a great deal, and early on, supported him over Hillary (although I've always said I would vote for either one over ANY Republican) until the sheep-like adoration by his supporters began - I mean really - some of you act like he is the second coming of Christ! I'm sorry to tell you, he's just a man, and mark my words, the Republicans will have a field day with him - it's wonderful he wants to run a different campaign, and it's wonderful he claims to not mud-sling (oh, but he does, just in a very covert way, plus, you supporters do plenty of mud-slinging for him), it's wonderful he wants to change Washington - but he has already shown that he cannot handle hard questions (the Pennsylvania debate - I know, I know, the moderators were being mean to him - what do you thing the Republicans will do?) You supporters act as though he will change the world - I'm sorry, only one being will do that and his name is Jesus Christ.

Comment: It`s only called Pulling the Race Card if you boast about it and try to make political capital with it. Obama can`t control who votes for him, but he does not go about claiming he should be the nominee because he is the only one who can capture the black population. In fact, his goal is to bring American together so that these political divisions related to race begin to be less important.

      • Posted By: davidgergen @ 05/10/2008 05:54:16

Comment: You're kidding. Obama's surrogates have said over and over she can't win the black vote...outloud and unequivocally over and over...Clyburn made several strong racial remarks basically saying that blacks will not vote or Clinton and the democrats can't win without them. He went further and accused Hilary CLinton of wanting to pemanently destroy obama so he loses in Nov.Now how in the heck is she going to do that? it makes no sense at all. Jamal Simmons said of Hillary in PA, "she can win the state handily given her ???institutional??? strengths,...I think this campaign goes until June 3 unless there???s a serious upset,??? Simmons said. But every few days Clyburn (in January said it would go to the convention) and the rest of them go off. Rolanf Martin (says he's neutral and travels around with Wright and his Nation of Islam body guards. He sure was laughing away at good old GODDAMN AMERICA WRIGHT. Want some insight? Go listen to Malik Shabazz (New Black Panther Party) 4-30 interview with Josh Gibson at FOX RADIO. He has a lot to say on Obama's dissing of his pastor. John Kerry called Gibson and told him to stop interviewing. haha. Is he gonna call up rush limbaugh? They've been telling Hillary to quit since NH and it's not supposed to offend Clinton supporters? them using raceracerace at every turn is absolutely crazy. Who are they offending? blacks are already behind Obama. IT IS A DEMOGRAPHIC. PERIOD. IT'S A FACT. PERIOD. Now quit whining and learn something about the economy and then maybe you'll get their vote. but those bitter people working in coal mines aren't gonna like being told their voting for a woman because theyre racists. they'd rather hear something concrete not related to HOPE! CHANGE! KUMBYA! That's why theyre voting FOR HILLIARY. Never give her any credit. ever.

Comment: I didn't say he pulled the race card - I said how is it different if white voters vote for Hillary, they're called racist, but if black voters vote for Obama, they're not - that's my point - reverse racism is rampant in this country and it is called "political correctness" - no form of racism should be accepted by anyone.

  • Posted By: Jules1227 @ 05/09/2008 2:43:27 PM

Comment: Part 1 of 3: I am sick of the hatefulness going back and forth between the supporters here - on both sides - however, I will say, in reading these blogs, the Obama supporters are much more hateful, judgmental, and "elitist" than any of the Clinton supporters (other than the total whack jobs, of course - but those are probably Republicans). I personally take offense in your "I'm right, so you must be wrong" attitude, claiming that anyone who supports Hillary must be stupid, or trailer trash or racist - maybe, just maybe, we aren't as taken in by Obama's "charm" as the rest of you all. I do agree that Obama speaks very eloquently (of course, I'm stupid, but even I know he doesn't write his own speeches - that's usually reserved for some white guy to do) and he made a very lovely and inspirational speech with regard to the whole Rev. Wright affair, which would be all well and good if he hadn't sat in that church for 20 years. As far as sitting in that church - the difference is had that been Hillary, and she attended a church for 20 years where racist propaganda was being spewed by it's Pastor, she would have been drawn and quartered in the press - what Barack got was a slap on the hand - you know that this is true - My husband agrees with me on that 100% and he is black - he also agrees with me that Barack makes inspiration speeches, seems like a good man, but what really scares us is his supporters and their Messiah-like adoration of him - he could tell some of you that the sky is red and you would defend till the end of time his statement. My husband and I support Hillary Clinton - no she is definitely not perfect - but I'm sorry to tell you, neither is Barack - they are both politicians, one just has more experience in Washington - and despite what we might all want, the fact of the matter is, you have to play the game in Washington to get what you want done - nothing Barack Obama can do will change that, so it's better to have someone he knows how to play already. I know he will win the nomination, and I will vote for him, but I think it would have been better for him to have gained more legislative experience and then run for President - I'm afraid they are going to eat him alive up on the hill - but time will tell and I hope that I'm completely wrong. I also hope that my husband's greatest fear for Barack Obama is not realized - that he be assassinated by some crazy KKK member or skinhead or other crazy character - I have been reading a lot of blogs lately and there are a lot of people (A LOT) who actually think that he could be the Antichrist due to his "coming out of nowhere" and the way his supporters act - almost like cult members, showing complete adoration. I personally do not believe this bunk, but I'm here to tell you, these people make very good arguments that almost seem sane and if I were a nut, I could certainly be made to believe it as well. Media news people are able to convince themselves that they choose and interpret the news "objectively" and on the basis of professional news values" (Noam Chomsky, Massachusetts Institute of Technology).

Comment: Howard I have watched you and read your columns for years but have lost all respect for you because of your constant talking down of Senator Clinton, you nor anyone else has bothered to report the fact that Michele Obama has been ashamed of her country and only now is proud of her country if that isn't antiamerican I don'r know what is, or that she shouldn't have been able to accomplish all that she did insinuates the White people the government would have kept her from doing all these things, or that Obama didn't know Mr. Wright (he doesn't deserve to be called Rev.) was antiamerican or racist ,is just unbelievable, he will not win the general election, when the republicans bring these facts out the American people will wake up and see just how their Liberation Theology is racist and antiamerican and their allegiance belongs to Africa, i personally will never vote to put a First lady in the White House to represent my country to the rest of the world when she hasn't been proud of her country.I will not vote for John McCain and have anything to do with jepordising the Supreme Court The Media again has had a huge influence in this election, instead of reporting the facts they have spent the last year spinning the facts to fit their own agenda.

Comment: OBAMA SPEECHES ARE JUST GAME OF WORDS, TO CONVINCE YOU THAT HE IS A WHITE HOLY SHEEP.

THE SAD PART IS THAT PEOPLE GETS CONFUSED AND BELIEVE HIM WHEN HE SPEAKS, AND DO NOT SEE THE REAL ISSUE.

AMERICAN PEOPLE PLEASE WE ARE INTELLIGENT TO LET THIS HAPPEN.

I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT AMERICAN VOTERS GET IMPRESS WITH THIS FAKE MAN.

THIS MAN AND THE PEOPLE BEHIND HIM ARE VERY TREASONOUS FOR THIS COUNTRY. WHY PEOPLE DO NOT SEE IT?

OBAMA WILL LOSE THE GENERAL ELECTION:
    1 INEXPERIENCE

2 HE IS ALL SPEECHES AND PLATITUDES WITH NO SUBSTANCE

3 HE IS AN IGNORANT PUPPET THAT SOMEONE WILL STAND BEHIND TO
    PULL THE STRINGS.

4 HE IS OUT OF TOUCH

5 HE CARELESS FOR ANYBODY BUT BLACK PEOPLE.

6 HE WILL CARELESS TO BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER

    7 HE IS RADICAL
