A Periscope item in the May 19 issue of Newsweek incorrectly stated that U.S. Rep. Vito Fossella had resigned from Congress following his arrest on drunk driving charges and revelations of marital infidelity. In fact, Fossella remains in office. Newsweek regrets the error.
