THE LAST WORD

Anna Quindlen

The Highest Road

It can still be a victory lap even if you don't win. Hillary Clinton should be thinking about her legacy, and how best to use it.

Clinton has taken Kentucky and Obama is right there in Oregon.
The Democratic race for nomination is still very much alive ??? and most likely to be decided by superdelegates ??? as CNN points out clearly

    http://edition.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/05/20/primary.wrap/index.html

If you???re tired of waiting around for those super delegates to make a decision already, go to LobbyDelegates.com and push them to support Clinton or Obama

If you haven't done so yet, please write a message to each of your state's superdelegates at http://www.lobbydelegates.com

    Obama Supporters:

Sending a note to current Obama supporters lets them know it's appreciated, sending a note to current Clinton supporters can hopefully sway them to change their vote to Obama, and sending a note to the uncommitted folks will hopefully sway them to vote for Obama. It's that easy...

    Clinton Supporters too ???. !

It takes a moment, but what's a few minutes now worth to get Clinton in office?! Those are really worth !

Sending a note to current Clinton supporters lets them know it's appreciated, sending a note to current Obama supporters can hopefully sway them to change their vote to Clinton, and sending a note to the uncommitted folks will hopefully sway them to vote for Clinton. It's that easy...

your last comment makes no sense. Quindlin did not say anyone was stupid, although I WILL say that if you think that Obama is a Muslim, you are an idiot. and, BTW, I saw several West Virginia voters who told reporters that Obama was a Muslim and, even when they were informed otherwise, simply said something to the effect that "well that;s what I bellieve." Now, if someone says that: yes, they're just like the guy in Spinal Tap who says his amp "goes to 11".

Hillary Clinton has much in common with George W. Bush: She agreed with his war. The offspring of neither will ever wear the uniform and be sent into harm's way. If the feedback is contrary to their goals he(she) refuses to listen. He(she) values loyalty over competence. When he(she) loses, they blithely change the rules to their advantage. Very. Poor. Sportship. Only an elitist would change the rules they agreed to after the race. She makes women look like people who cry on demand and cheat. We deserve better. Too many women are tougher - ask the single heads of household who go to low-paying jobs they hate everyday to feed their families.
