But those traits explained only part of the gap. What accounted for the rest was how people viewed social and economic inequality, the scientists will report next month in the journal Psychological Science. People who agreed that "it is not really that big a problem if some people have more of a chance in life than others," for instance, and "this country would be better off if we worried less about how equal people are," were happier than those who disagreed. The latter tend to be liberals, who are less likely than conservatives to see inequality as the result of a fair and legitimate system in which, say, people are losing their homes to foreclosure because they greedily got mortgages they couldn't afford/didn't deserve, not because they were misled by lenders. As foreclosures and gas prices rise between now and November, hitting have-nots harder than haves, the happiness gap will only grow. And if poli-psych teaches us anything, it is that profound unhappiness with the status quo leaves voters open to profound change.

Comment: Why would anyone chose a black islamic name like Obama Barack and expect not to be looked at with skepticism? Obama is a fraud, his best friend is a staunch racist pastor , when the brouhaha exploded and he was attached to this pastor he defended him saying he is a longtime friend and would not cut his ties to him. Three weeks later when the *** hit the fan, he does cut his ties with him. So the morals here are first "birds of a feather flock together" and second he is incapable of keeping his word, by dropping his "friend" like a hot potato. Is this what presidents are made off. if it tells you anything it is that we need a woman to run this country not another man, especially one that does not mean what he ever says. Watch his eyes, that is where you will see the truth.....Nikki

Comment: If Obama loses, it will be the will of the majority of the people, not the ones who still have "crab mentality", or who still are scared of change. We have those who speak the truth and those who change what they say to benefit who they are talking to at the moment. If you are a person who allows your unconscious minds to dictate how you perceive things, how you treat people or even how you vote, then you deserve the zombie existance that awaits you. Food prices at a all time high and oil prices the motivating factor to the rapid decline of our countrys economic system. Now! If this is being brought about because of your unconscious mental pickups, you better wake up and smell the coffee, because, if there is not a change in this countrys direction, you have not seen anything yet.
