    willnotvoteobama,

Obviously you will not or you would not spend so much of your time trying to discredit the senator.

    1. No. I don't think Senator Obama gives a rat's *ss about what you think of him one way or another.

    2. Yes, if true, it would be a conincidence. Barrack is not a Muslim, he is a Christians as are most of us in America. We do make allowances for small diversities, however.

    3. In 1980, I was a registered Republican and I also was repulsed by Ronald Reagan because I realized that his ultra conservative policies would lead to deregulation of almost everything. It is that deregulation that led to the financial mess that we now have in the subprime mortgage market. I can debate this with you because I spend most of my life as a Senior Commerical Loan Officer. I think Senator Obama admired the Christian qualities of President Carter who walks the talk as proven by his work with Habbitat for Hummanity and other Christian based organizations.

    4. I know nothing about your allegations vis a vie Larry Sinclair.

    5. Obviously the Senator and his wife felt comfortable in this large congregation of ethnic Christians and he was able to overlook some of the Pastor's strident comments which are not unusual for black churches. When Pastor Wright began to enjoy the attention and became even more strident, the Senator had to make a decision and he left the church.

    6. As the Senator has pointed out many times, Ayres was commiting these acts when he was eight years old. Who among us has not done something in our youth that has made us less proud of ourselves in later years? I have. Have you or are you the second perfect person in this world?

    7. You have the advantage here. I am not familiar with Rezko but please elaborate with factual information and not more allegations.

    8. The Senator has no more questionable ties than you probably have or any politiician. There are a lot of bones hidden in Washington. His campaign is primarily financed by 1.5 million small contributors ($80+ a person). I have contributed $50 three times. We are all hoping for the change, the fresh new wind free of the lobbyists who actually run this country.

    9. Probably not just as G.W. Bush has stacked the Supreme Court with some of the most conservative justices in the country. It is the perrogative of the President to choose those who are most in accord with him if he so chooses.

    10. Senator Obama is no one's puppet ... he is is own man as you will come to know him.

Obama is not a real Christian. He does not adhere to the basic tenets of the Christian faith, including salvation only through the Savior. Instead he says that he believes that if people do good things they can earn their way into heaven.

Christians do good works because they love God, and want to glorify Him, not to earn a reward.

America is finally starting to ask questions. Obama is the biggest used car salesman (with a nice smile and good delivery) the media has EVER tried to shove down America's throat.

McCain is the better man by a long shot and he is SO much more qualified.

But....here is another biggie.....McCain never had a close "20 year relationsip" with a bunch of racist friends like Obama has, no matter what liberals will try to claim just because McCain is on the GOP ticket. The "good reverand" Jeremiah Wright is a bigot, no different from Archie Bunker or David Duke. This is what American's are really talking about at the water cooler folks. Believe it. And Wright's close friend is Louis Farrakhan, THE biggist racist in America. Birds of a Feather....

Hello???? Most Jews and many Hillary fans will not vote for Obama. The media's love fest will eventually kill Obama's campaign. (And the TV spots about his racist friend, Rev. Wright, are not even on yet) And....the debates are going to be fun to watch. McCain will win it right there. Watch closely.

America was indeed fooled by the CIA on Iraq.....and now some Americans are falling for the used car salesman.

But....remember, this is the same nation that re-elected an unpopular George W. Bush in 2004....during....an unpopular war. - McCain will win in November.

Remember it is Bush who was a Republican.
Sure America elected Bush in the last couple of elections, but that is really the lesson.
Your guilt by association and fear tactics are what Americans fell for last time. It was not some media love afair other than the media fell for it.

Perhaps people realize that housing prices shot up out of control during Republican watch, after Republican deregulation.
Perhaps people realize that gas prices began their rapid increases a couple of years after Bush was elected.
Perhaps people realize that drill for more oil is the same thing that they've been saying for 30 years.

Perhaps people are just beginning to see past all of that.

      • Posted By: pearsoncrz @ 07/29/2008 10:46:36 AM

Guilt by association, isn't that what you Obama supporters are trying to do by linking Bush and McCain?

Frankly, Obama's voluntary association with Rev. Wright is more telling, especially since he called Wright his "spiritual father" in his book.

Rev. Wright has had twenty years to get to know Obama, and Rev. Wright had it right -- Obama will say and do whatever he thinks he needs to say and do to get elected and stay in power. Telling truth to power, that is what Rev. Wright does.

Obama is not looking for a "yes sir" VP. He's looking for a "yes messiah...anything you say messiah" VP.

I just figured you out. You are a plant. Some group, maybe Kucinich supporters have created you to make McCain supporters and neo-cons look like complete raving idiots. But you are exposed. Even though I am not a fan of mcCain's, no one can be as idiotic as you are. So your rant's against Obama must be a plant to make anti-Obamae people look like complete fools. You almost suceeded, but you are now exposed.

      • Posted By: cowen123456 @ 07/28/2008 9:41:16 PM

Here's a valuable suggestion you'll never get from anyone else. Don't think....its not working :)

        • Posted By: ghostmasseur @ 07/29/2008 10:18:03 AM

You are not one to talk. Given the idiocy of many of your posts, you are easily dismissable.

Of course I was being sarcastic in my post. But you would have to have a functioning intellect to understand that. You are missing said so you did not get it.

???There is nothing that???s off the table. I have my positions, and I???ll articulate them. But nothing???s off the table,??? McCain said. ???I don???t want tax increases. But that doesn???t mean that anything is off the table.???

  • Posted By: chindognyc @ 07/29/2008 12:26:14 AM

Now that we know McCain has been saying that Obama will raise taxes, and then come to find out, McCain wants to rasie taxes for social security. Now since the McCain supporters couldn't explain why did he say "at one time, I too did not love America until I was deprived of her company." Now explain to me why did McCain say that Obama will raise your taxes just to find out, he is ready for a higher payroll tax for social security. I would like to hear this.

At gallup.com it numbers are in favor of Obama by 8 point.s

But look at what the cable news stations have been been tooting instead today.

Gains for McCain in latest USA TODAY/Gallup Poll
By: Mark Memmott and Jill Lawrence

    Read Excerpt below for explanation.

    McCain - 49%

    Obama - 45%

Republican presidential candidate John McCain moved from being behind by 6 points among LIKELY voters a month ago to a 4 POINT LEAD over Democrat Barack Obama among that group in the latest USA TODAY/Gallup Poll. McCain still trails slightly among the broader universe of REGISTERED voters by both measures, the race is TIGHT.

The Friday-Sunday poll, mostly conducted as Obama was returning from his much-publicized overseas trip and released just this hour, shows McCain now ahead 49%-45% among voters that Gallup believes are most likely to go to the polls in November. In late June, he was behind among likely voters, 50%-44%.

Among registered voters, McCain still trails Obama, but by less. He is behind by 3 percentage points in the new poll (47%-44%) vs. a 6-point disadvantage (48%-42%) in late June.

Results based on the survey of 791 likely voters have margins of error of +/- 4 percentage points - so McCain's lead is not outside that range. Results based on the survey of 900 registered voters also have margins of error of +/- 4 percentage points.

Gallup editor Frank Newport tells Jill that "registered voters are much more important at the moment," because Election Day is still 100 days away, but that the likely-voter result suggests that it may be possible for McCain to energize Republicans and turn them out this fall.

Frank says that while the tracking poll indicates Obama may have gotten some gains from his overseas trip last week, any benefits may be short-lived. That tracking poll of 2,674 registered voters was also done Friday-Sunday and the margins of error on the results are +/- 2 percentage points.

As for the difference between the tracking and USA TODAY/Gallup polls, Frank says not to read too much into it. "Statistical noise" may be largely to blame.

if obama wins, he will not have a congress that will rubber stamp ever thing he ask for. and he will not have that good old boy net work. he will pick a vice prsident that will not be afraid to tell him lets sit down and discuss the issue before you make a decision on the matter. he is not a george bush that is always right and every one else is wrong. he know this will not be his little kingdom to run as he please and thats while his vice will be his right arm. bush is the only president that does what he tells himself. he says this is his last term and he is going to do all he can so everyone will never forget him, and he has done just that.

    • Posted By: thrasher32 @ 07/28/2008 5:05:56 PM

You must have meant "WHEN" Obama wins...

  • Posted By: gcrowe @ 07/28/2008 3:59:36 PM

this might seem silly to you all, but it was said in 1933 by a white gentiman that if the color people of this country want their rigthts they will have to fight him for them. that was in 1933 and he did not lie for many have died for them and we are still fighting for them in 2008. the color people can die for this country, but do not expect to enjoy all the rights before you die. the white race has said that you can fight for this country, but try to enjoy the rights of this country and we will stop you at every turn.

Welcome back home Barry. I think you are now more popular in Europe than Princess Diana. That mean old man was saying bad things about you while you were away. Can't wait until the debates so you can put him in his place. Can't wait unti you have all the power. Americans have been very naughty and we need you to discipline us. Why do have wait six months? Why can't we just vote right now? What are you going to wear for your inauguration? Who is going to be your vice President? Please don't pick that old mummy Sam Nunn. Why don't you pick the Mayor of Detroit. He has been in the news a lot recently.

"America was indeed fooled by the CIA on Iraq"?????
America was fooled by Bush/Cheney and co. and close to 35% still believe Iraq had something to do with 9/11 that in itself tells us just how damnn dumb a third of the voters are, or at least so easily brainwashed and brain dead they probably should not be allowed to vote.
Unfortunately there is no requirement restricting the mentally deficient from voting.
If McCain is elected it's because these mentally deficient voters think the economy is great, and we should become a third world country and we're getting there fast. McCain has stated he will continue Dubya's supply side economics and that should do the trick and push America over the edge.

Still at it, you can't debate so your still trying to insinuate everyone is racially motivated. I really do feel bad for you, just come out of the closet, I'm sure you'll fell better.

        • Posted By: Nins @ 06/26/2008 6:41:43 PM

Zombie, I don't see YOU debating, or posting factual information, or really discussing the issues. You are throwing the first stone here, I think.

    • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 06/11/2008 7:19:41 PM

Why not, Z? Love is good.

  • Posted By: WhenStarsTurnBlue @ 06/11/2008 6:49:56 PM

DIdn't take Obama long to roll over on that issue, just like the flag pin, did it? Some leadership skills there! The moment anyone criticizes him on anything, he bends over backwards to change. It wouldn't even bother me so much if he didn't protest that the flag pin didn't matter time and again, but rather than sticking to his guns, he relented. And then he said Johnson's mortgage history doesn't matter to the duty assigned to him, yet he seemed all too happy to let him resign. He talks the talk, but never walks the walk.

    • Posted By: sharenews @ 06/11/2008 10:40:19 PM

Obama also stood up for Michelle when she made that famous oops about being proud for the first time, and then immediately after that was the last you saw her opening her mouth doing major speeches in front of thousands of people on the campaign trail. It is starting to get mighty crowded under that bus, no? : - )

Any man would defend his wife regarless.

He defended his wife up until she got in the way with her controversial comments on the campaine trail. And then was silenced from speeches.

          • Posted By: Nins @ 06/26/2008 6:40:22 PM

She is in New Hampshire giving speeches right this minute. She has not given up, nor has she been silenced.

To use the kid's slang, Michelle rocks!

Telling Sen. Clinton to withdraw from this race before the Democratic convention is like telling Rosa Parks to step to the rear of the bus.

    • Posted By: brian.reach @ 06/26/2008 5:41:53 PM

I agree - nobody argued when Ted Kennedy took his 800 delegate deficit to the convention. Hillary was under by 100 - and had the political map under wraps. She was pushed out, because they threw a bone to the side of the party that we owe nothing to - the people that never show up. Then again, we've been trying to get them to for a while.

    • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 05/23/2008 11:14:15 AM

No comparison. Rosa Parks is a heroine.

  • Posted By: pugs @ 06/10/2008 10:06:12 PM

Gee I think the 3 am ad got under Obama's skin or maybe his VP committee agrees with it like the 18 million voters for Hilary.

    • Posted By: tired and old @ 06/11/2008 10:14:19 AM

IF THIS IS A HILLARY SUPPORTER I EXPECT TWO THINGS:

      1. HILLARY SUPPORTER THAT CAN SPELL HER NAME CORRECTLY.

      2. ACCURATE VOTE COUNT; NOT, HILLARY CLINTON EMBELLISHED MATH !

      • Posted By: brian.reach @ 06/26/2008 5:36:51 PM

Hillary and Barack were practically tied. They will be on the ticket together, or Obama is a total fool. The last person he needs to convinced is you, tired and old. You've been one of the rudest bloggers on newsweek - in fact, you had me swearing to vote for mccain.

He'll pick her, and we'll all be better for it. If not, it's gonna be a bumpy ride with McCain and World War 3.
