Obama makes very funny speeches. What he says is hysterical. Boy , I'm glad I'm not one of those few hundred in the background that stand in awe with their eyes in the headlights look watching Obama speak. They're funny too actually.

Another candidate as his running mate is Wesley Snipes. He needs the job to eliminate his back taxes !

& H.C. needs to get layed so that she wont be so angry

Lol G! She's not the only one either. Some of her supporters too... maybe that's why they are so bitter.

I would much rather be bitter than ignorant to the facts!

          • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 05/22/2008 2:14:25 PM

S, please give us a break here.. okay? We are not ignorant to the facts. The facts are these........Obama will be the nom. and more than likely the prez. Hillary worked hard, she gave it her all but she lost. I admit she is a tough woman all woman at that. In conclusion if I were you I'd stop worrying and being resentful and take care fo my health. Obama will make a good leader.........you'll see.

Sorry Pia, you might think so but I don't agree with you along with a lot of other Americans. As for waiting to see, well you will need to wait and see because he has won neither the nomination nor the Presidency and I have a feeling a lot of votes are going to go across party lines.

                Duh !! Shadoeo1,

this article is about Obama finding a VP. not H.C. ( & we are the ignorant supporters)?

that is funny, it appears that half the Democratic party is in HUGE Denile....

We're mice being led to the edge of the cliff by that black man.

You guys called yourselves mice not me, I just said you are following a Pied Piper!

                    • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 05/22/2008 2:53:53 PM

We didn't either! Obama is no Pied Piper for heaven's sake. He's a husband and father, he's the nominee fo the Dem party, he's a senator, civil rights attorney, Harvard grad, prof. of an Ilinois univ and soon to be prez! Ha! And goodlooking to boot! Does he really look like a Pied Piper?

                      • Posted By: Shadoe01 @ 05/22/2008 3:17:49 PM

Just because he is a husband and a father (not a very good one for letting his kids listen to that man) and graduated from college does not make him a good man nor a smart man (ie.. Rev. Wright, Rezco etc.). As for goodlooking, not at all! Now, Denzel Washington is a hunk but not Obama.

Pia - is that how it goes?
                            Dang it!
I always thought it was Beauty is in the eye of the BEER holder.
                            That explains it...

Hi H. To me it is all about what's inside actually. Of course looks help. At least at first to attract, but later personality takes over. I like humor in a man. Tenderness too.

If only all the women were like you, the world would be a lot better place.
I'm older now, but a long time ago I knew a woman who was just like you sound.
But, fate can change your life in the blink of an eye.
And you can't change it no matter how much you wish you could.
I sincerly wish you find the best

Hi H. How are you? Thank you for the compliment.. you are too kind and you are pretty good yourself. I mean it.

I'm sorry over what fate did to you but someday you may find life's lost passion again with someone else. All is not lost and age matters not when it comes to love. I wish you the best too. Btw, is Huachuca your first name? You don't have to answer that.

I did enjoy the joke about the beer holder. Cute! What kind do you drink? Exotic beer?

See. There you go again being all negative. Hills lost.
She got beat by a man who attended "that church", knows of Ayers, Rezko, and whoever else you make up that has already been dismissed.

What's that say about the status of your candidates closet?

Lots of pantsuits? Hillary should wear a short skirt paired with a feminine blouse, silk stockings and high heels just once.

Lol! Stop! She's not that big. what size, 14? I got two short skirts from VS last week, stretch silky microfiber with pleats in the back ,16 inches in length.. one in black and one in ivory. Very cute. I think thre sizes run 2 to 12. I'm a 4.

                                  LOL !!!

well you know how small ( size 2) i am with alot of mouth :-)

however, H.C. is Huge to me... she looks manly with those pants suite... size 16 anything is BIG !!
                                  she should join Jenny Craig.....

i cant picture her in a dress ( with the bags under her eyes) & heavy duty pants suites.... i guess she has to appear tough to become a wanna be president.

( i hope the next women that runs to become president can feel secure in their skin & wear a dress & put make-up on & still be considered tough).

OK for the 50th time. In the black church children are usually in Sunday school and not in the church proper so I really doubt that they heard those sermons.

As for him not being good looking please! He is cute and I absolutely love the way he carries himself. You have to admit the brother is extremely smooth and that makes him sexy as hell.

another H.C. supporter has stepped in the show ( above you type that Obama is talking out of both sides of his mouth).. did you read the article that said even with MI & FL. No sense again. We didn't list any particulars about Obama. We communicated with regard to your dislike of him. You tried to "reinvent" him as a Jones figure.

                          Not very nice.

You reinvent him every time you do not admit to his faults! You make him to be something he is not and will never be.

we made him the winner of the "Historical Primary Race"..

                              fact not fiction.

I could maybe understand 1x but twice. I have NEVER voted for a Republican for President so please don't ever lecture me or any HRC supporter about how stupid, divisive, etc. we are. Your man (GWB) got us to this point so any insight you may have about this year is highly suspect.

The Obama campaign is a political circus at its best. He can't even keep people on his VP search team. The problem is...nobody wants to be his VP....Obama is a complete joke. Don't know if he is running a new spiritual congregation or is Obama auditioning for the part of Martin Luther King in a new Broadway production. People can only hear " We want change "....and ..." Yes we can.." inside an arena so many times before everybody finally sees that Obama has nothing to say and has no vision.

Oh well, dems lose another one in November ......someone said bring back Hillary Clinton...thats a good idea...she only 'suspended' her campaign right.....who knows, politics is so weird and unpredictable now that it might happen.

Obama talks a good game but he is not running for Professor. Now that Hillary is out of the picture (hopefully!), we will see him under a microscope. Let the mistakes begin! Besides Johnson, there is the question of Caroline Kennedy on the team. What are her qualifications exactly, other than to send a snub to Hillary after her RFK gaffe?

  • Posted By: Lee Holmes @ 06/11/2008 3:44:57 PM

Which is why Clark should not get the nod. To be sure, his leadership as NATO commander would be enough to earn some props there, until we find that his stupidity in arming the KLA backfired into an ongoing shooting war that continues to this day. Obviously, the decision to launch one of the largest air strike campaigns since WWII,was performed as a ''first''resort solution. Not a last one, neatly bypassing not only the UN,but one of the two houses of Congress[House] in launching the air war. Something that Clark oddly does not mention. Then too,a president Obama would have to consider the opposition of the Russians when he decides to send US troops into the Sudan. As a first resort.

Webb is out. The 800 pd monkey on his back is the Confederate States of America, which he has been witnessed to praise from time to time, which is too bad,as Webb would have been a sound choice otherwise.

Another class act that would be a a great mix with Barack Obama as his VP
He gets my support i am hoping he get Barack Obamas

Such figures don't come much more "top" in either political party than retired four-star General Wes Clark, the former Supreme Allied Commander Europe for NATO during the Kosovo War

"I know he's trying to get traction by seeking to play to what he thinks is his strong suit of national security," Clark said of McCain while speaking from his office in Little Rock, Arkansas. "The truth is that, in national security terms, he's largely untested and untried. He's never been responsible for policy formulation. He's never had leadership in a crisis, or in anything larger than his own element on an aircraft carrier or [in managing] his own congressional staff. it's not clear that this is going to be the strong suit that he thinks it is."

Resume aside, though, Clark also took issue with the Arizona Republican's instincts on national security. "McCain's weakness is that he's always been for the use of force, force and more force. In my experience, the only time to use force is as a last resort. ... When he talks about throwing Russia out of the G8 and makes ditties about bombing Iran, he betrays a disrespect for the office of the presidency."

Hey Glimps - you're so moronic not even sure it's worth replying but because you're like fish in a barrel, I'll do it. HRC represents 18 million primary voters. Even your feeble brain has to realize you have to get a few. Given your HRC bashing each day you'll get less. Not a threat, just reality. Who would want to call you an ally? Even MSNBC today conceded FL. It will only get worse.

All of you Obama supporters have so jumped on the backs of HRC supporters that they all think you are pond scum like Alvy. Good luck in the GE. You're on your own. We are setting up a PAC that will elevate women and make sure nothing like this ever happens again. You reap what you sow.

There should be no question in November. Are you a native to CA. I am a mid westerner (Michigan) and New Yorker. I don't know whether a facial would help with the bags. Maybe a firming eye cream/serum or anti-puffines eye cream? I'm not sure I know since I've never had problems with bags and puffiness.

she has to place 2 cucumbers under her eyes & maybe a nip & a tuck in the hips & maybe a dress & let her hair grow out......

Two whole cucumbers! Think of the weight on her eyes, lol! You mean two slices. I agree on growing out the hair and if she lost some of the hips and wore a short dress with heels, she'd be a babe. Look out Bill!

How destructive to the U.S. economy would a Barack Obama presidency be?

An exclusive Newsmax analysis warns: There could be a very rough time ahead.

Beneath Obama's flowery rhetoric lies a dangerous economic plan that will wreak havoc on the American economy.

Obama plans to return to the failed policies of high taxation coupled with an expansion of government spending.

Worse, Obama says he is absolutely committed to almost doubling the capital gains rate ??? something he will easily accomplish with a Democrat Congress.

In the coming months ??? when investors realize that Obama will raise the cap gains rate ??? there could be a stampede of asset sales as investors rush to take their profits now to avoid Obama's doubling of the tax rates next year.

All of these issues and more are explored in Newsmax magazine's special report "Obamanomics ??? the Coming Tax-and-Spend Nightmare," by Wall Street Journal columnist John Fund.

This Newsmax magazine special report gives Americans the first in-depth look at the Democratic presidential candidate's likely strategies ??? and how they will affect not just the larger economy, but your personal wealth as well.

Indeed, Obama makes no bones about his plans to go on a tax rampage. Not only would he increase the capital-gains tax rate from 15 percent to as much as 28 percent, he wants to allow the 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts to expire in 2010, which effectively raises taxes on Americans by tens of billions of dollars.

He also wants to do away with the $102,000 FICA payroll tax cap, which means anyone making over $102,000 would pay an additional 7 percent in taxes on earned income.

And the loan dividend tax rate George Bush implemented? Under President Obama it will be DOA!

It sounds to me you did a good job of hitting home with your posting cuz the only response yo got from opposers (Obama supporters) was that "oh, you are going off subject now" or "shame on you, you know what they say about cut and pastes" . You were right on the money with your statements which I confirmed, but there are a couple Im not familiar with that I'll followup on. Great post!

CUT AND PASTE COMMENTS OVER AND OVER AGAIN !

        THIS DOES NOT DESERVE REPLY.

CUT AND PASTE MOVES FROM BLOG TO BLOG.

      • Posted By: sharenews @ 06/11/2008 1:35:41 AM

C'mon you guys, like you and the blogger below have never jumped into a conversation or started one based on another bloggers post and get off course a bit. Sounds like maybe it is easier to cause a distraction than to respond to the bloggers post above. No?

      • Posted By: loriw @ 06/10/2008 6:36:40 PM

        Yep, I agree.
You get people that cut and paste the same junk to every article. I've found the more often it is cut and pasted the less relevant the content it contains is. Inverse proportions - more often cut and pasted, less truth and real content .
        Gets really annoying too.

I agree with you. With the war in Iraq and the general instability in the Middle East I think that someone with high level military experience would be an excellent choice.

If US has a PRESIDENT of this magnitude appeals WOW !!!!!!really AMAZING real Talented never in AMERICAN history before,Im really PROUD to be American Again,,he's Zionist, Muslim, Christian, Black, White,Buddist,Hindu,Bengali,African,Red-Indian,Chinese,Japanese,Hawaiian,..........WOW this all are an ASSETS smart Americans can be proud of,only the FOOL and STUPID can treats this as LIABILITY that look exactly like themselves.

Barack Obama would actually be much better for America security. There's no doubt to me McCain would be better than Bush, the Bush years being probably as much about fueling terrorism than fighting it. But McCain would still represent (but less) what can be seen as America's arrogance, something that makes USA so unpopular around the world. A black man with Hussein as a middle name would send a clear message in Middle East that America is about freedom, an important contrast with some form of imperialism. Combined with Obama intelligence about understanding dialogging with enemies, I humbly think this would affect directly terrorism recruiting. I may sound over-optimistic, but I think his image alone as a president could do more for democracy in Middle East than any war.

This Economy common sense!! yet many Americans have difficulties to understand the basic of their existence in first place.Check out the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 18 and 19). Take a look at Romans 1:22-32. Pretty sobering reading - if you are not too self-important and arrogant to think you've already got it all figured out and don't need the input of the Ancient of Days. Don't guess they teach Proverbs 1:7 at those Ivy League school.

Obama needs to make up his mind whether or not the vetting team working for him are actually working for him. In fact,Obamas vetting team needs some vetting themselves. Over at the liberal SLATE Magazine,[''Obama,Embarrassed''],Mickey Kaus has some fun on this problem at Obamas expense when we find out that one,Eric Holder, was up to his eyelashes in the Marc Rich pardon mess[the first time in American political history that a wanted fugitive from justice was pardoned by a president],and that the other,Jim Johnson, copped sweetheart loan deals during the sub-prime mess by a creator of that mess,COUNTRYWIDE Loans.Lastly,Kennedy, who is not forthcoming as to how much money[in the hundreds of millions], is being kept in a South Pacific tax shelter, while her uncle demands that Americans who are not as fat and happy as the Kennedys in the wallet dept.;pony up more of their own dough for capital gains taxes.Taxes, that the Kennedys do not pay.

    • Posted By: summer1216 @ 06/10/2008 5:44:37 PM

Like Obama says, he is not going to hire a vetter to ver the vetters. They have a very discreet and specific job to do, and are not part of the larger overall campaign.
