There's definitely been a double-standard here, Obama supporters have called anyone racist who has not supported him and it's time we start playing the same game. I for one, if I have to choose a man in the general election will choose McCain. Obama supporters think they can strong-arm people to voting for him by calling people racists or by saying "You are a Democrat aren't you? Then you should vote for a Democrat" I think we should send a message to the party about what happens when they choose the wrong candidate.....THEY LOSE!!!

Clinton is doing a disservice to women by playing this sexism card. There has been sexism, but not in anyway that has hampered her message or her campaign. Her surrpgates like Ferraro are also hurting her image and fracturing the party. She has suggested that Obama and Edwards teaming up on her was sexist. She is Hillary Clinton the Inevitable. Thats why they ganged up on her. Imagine a man complaining about that. Hillary has been playing the sex card the whole time.

Enough the stress of this is getting unbearable. We all want what is best for our nation. We got big news this week (McClellan book) this information we all felt for some years that this war was faked. I don't sleep well know that all our troops have dead and the there families destroyed. Enough-- I feel Obama will be watched for is whole term and he will and may be the best President. He will have to work harder that in other President just because we make it so hard to let our fears drive us. I realize for some this maybe hard to want to try someone different. We have proven on both side that we are smarter that what they (republicans give us credit for). We need to let America heal. We need to let are troops come and heal. We need Pride in made in America back. I want all Americans for all Americans.

I will never fight a Hillary Supporter I just want us to heal our country. He is just one man and that all. We the people are begging for our nation back. Enough please stop this crazy fighting. Bush is the problem not Hillary not Obama. America is in a Mess. Enough K. We need look at the future of our children. If we can get Obama to do half of the things he is talking about what a major step. Our schools are a joke; I have better computers on my work bench than they do in most classrooms. Our vets should never have to wait for care.
I have trusted my life for 8 years to false promises. Fear allowed us to vote Bush into office fear put in him in a second term. We all felt he wasn't right but we were afraid that he was right. This is the time to be strong and take Our White House back.

ej, Obama just won't get elected, especially when stuff is still coming out about his racially charged church. In the general election people will use this and it will become a black vs. white thing and you know who will win that one. So unfortunately, he is not the right man. I don't like him for other reasons, but the main fact that his record is tainted with and anti-white church, well, he'll never win all the votes he needs to because of that. The first black president will have to be squeaky clean and Obama is not. I wish that Obama had done some more time in politics, and built a track record that was impressive, then I could have given him a second look. As a man, and as a politician, he's no comparison with McCain. None at all.

I am a woman who is not voting for Clinton. I even wrote to her campaign when I decided I couldn't vote for her. Here is part of my letter:

"I have an 11-year-old daughter. I have tried to raise her right by teaching her right from wrong and Christian values. I have taught her to be honest, trustworthy, ethical, and moral. I have taught her that you do not tear people down to build yourself up. That there is no such thing as "win at all costs" --- a cost is paid for every wrong you commit. I have taught her no matter how mean others are to you, as Christians, we are to act as Christ would ... to turn the other cheek and forgive. And your current campaign is the opposite of what I have taught and she has learned.

So see Hillary, if I vote for you, I go against everything I have taught my daughter about how to live right. Children learn by our actions. And if I vote for you, I am telling her that it is okay to lie about others, to change the rules to suit your needs, and that winning is the only thing that matters.

And in the long run, the only thing that matters is your integrity."

That is why I am voting for Obama. Not because of sexist comments from the media, but because of what I have taught my daughter----honor, integrity, and morals are more important than winning.

The rules for the primary season were well known to all who participated. Clamoring to rewrite the rules that all participants agreed to at the outset when one is on the losing end is both desperate and foolish. The lack of integrity and honesty displayed by some on this issue is appalling. The sense of entitlement disgusts me.

krsmommy- Read the papers, look at the statistics, men make more than women and have higher positions than women. We don't live in a fair world, it is male-dominated. If you want your daughter to succeed in life, it might be best to teach her to be more like Hillary. Otherwise she'll end up working a crap position for a man. Sorry, but we don't live in a world of gumdrops and lollipops.

Voting against a woman because she is a woman is sexist, and wrong. But so is voting FOR a woman because she is a woman. In effect, you are voting against the man because he isn't a woman. It's the same effect. Sexist all way 'round.

Many Obama supporters have elucidated concrete and logical reasons why Clinton is the wrong candidate. These reasons have nothing to do with her sex. Hillary comes off as someone who really doesn't have core values. Instead, she espouses the beliefs she feels will pander to the right people at that particular time. This perception plays right into the hands of the right who have the advantage of doggedly sticking to their horrible policies. Yet, they can hang their hat on resoluteness. Hillary can not.

What we need is a calm rational voice that can enunciate in no uncertain terms the key values of the Democratic Party without apologizing or hunkering in fear. Someone who sticks to their beliefs even in the fervant heat of political pressure. That voice is Obama. Hillary cannot match him in this regard. In fact, she reminds us too often of the recent failures of the Democratic Party to capture the imagination of the country.

Johnsonium- You don't state good reason, you basically say the way "Hillary comes off" to you, which is the main reason I don't like Obama. The way he "comes off" to me is all wrong. If Obama inspired the entire Democratic Party, and brought everyone together like he claims to, we wouldn't be in this mess. Almost half of Democrats support Hillary. So tell me how he inspires the party? So tell me how he's bringing everyone together? It hasn't happened so far.

The only reason the word can't has power is we let be that way.

I listen to people say I can't and I have seen allot of first. Look at this nomination that was also a can't happen thing too. They just landed again on mars was the a can't too. People believed that Bush couldn't lie to the people about something so big but he did. We are not weak. We are talking 8 years! This is a big step; to put McCain in because we didn't get the person we wanted. Really most Black people love white no matter what is said or done because time has shown none are the same. I don't think he will eat white people I not sure what white people fear? We are all Americans! How can it be harder than that? Do you feel that we will leave America if we don't get the person we want in office? 8 years of McCain! That is fear that is worse than any Obama could ever make me feel. 8 years I could learn any job any a few months or a year. But what do we do with the other 7. I have 3 boys and they need us to make the right choice. I don't want is this war. I think Hillary was smart to use all of her tools to use us against each other. We were all together at the start until she was losing.

The only reasons democrats lose is because we are not strong to the end. Every race has been close but turn out was the key Republicans want doubt, they want us to fight. Sorry I will never fight a Hillary supporter.

I think some are confused about this one thing. The people at the top are important but not more important than there polices. McCain doesn't care about any smart hard working American of any color. You are liked if you send you children of to war without question. You hand of your pay check to pay for it. When your children come back from this war they will still not be educated. I could never hate Hillary supporter enough to live through 8 more years. She should not be worth the lives of more Americans.

I'm outta here, but I want to leave with one more thing. My vote is only one. If you think Obama can win, great. Let's see how this plays out. With the Michigan and Florida mess, the men vs. women mess, the black vs. white mess, this election will be historical. It will be interesting after the dust settles, to see how this plays out. I encourage ej, tired and old, cnn357 & jonsonium to meet up here on Newsweek on a blog, and lets talk it over and see how it played out. I could be wrong, who knows. I could be right though. You can look at the polls, we have our own opinions, but the dynamics are so great this time around, it's unpredicatable really.
