Eleanor, there is no question that Hillary has been unfairly bashed and trashed by a significant segment of the MSM. For a small sampling of attack dogs against her I could cite: Jack Cafferty of CNN, Keith Olberman and Chris Mathews of MSNBC. Those three are ferocious, unmerciful pit-bulls. Another politically mean dog is Tim Russert. By contrast all these four kneel at the altar of Obama singing hosannas while, at the same time, they ignore their idol's numerous and fatal flaws.
Newsweek joined in the feeding frenzy against Hillary with its crew of so-called "reporters." It is truly disappointing and frightening that, instead of informing the public, the MSM interfered with this primary election by anointing Obama and demonizing Hillary.
The MSM has accomplished what seemed unattainable. During this election cycle, MSNBC, CNN, Time and Newsweek have made FOX News Channel look "fair and balanced."
Fortunately, among American voters, there are tens of millions of us who will always put Country first and Political Party (a distant) second. While we would vote for either Hillary (the American Fighter) or McCain (the American Hero), we would never vote for Obama (the Stealth Candidate).
Those of us who are not so easily manipulated - by pseudo-reporters promoting a deceitful smooth-talker - and love our country, won't let the MSM shove an untested, unqualified, untrustworthy and unknown (who is he?) candidate down our throats. If Obama is the Democratic nominee, we'll make sure McCain is our next President. We won't be duped!

My vote has nothing to do with whom I like better personally. It has nothing to do with race or sex. Hillary lost my vote when she cast her lot with GB's neocon war policy and voted for the war in Iraq. Then she compounded the error by voting for the Iranian resolution that really give the neocrazies the power to extend this war into Iran (because the resolution says that the military is a "terrorist" organization). I would have voted for any reasonable alternative to Clinton. Obama, surprisingly, became a winning choice.

Countless women, including Hillary, are showing why it is preceived a WOMAN could NEVER be President. If Sen. Obama takes the nomination it will mostly be because media people like Clift failed to vet his campaign. A campaign built on an image of political change when even cursory reporting would have revealed the emptiness of that image given his career roots in Chicago.
We have a way to go to the convention. Maybe media pundits can belittle enough women into voting for Sen. Obama. But as it stands with the Pew Research Polls at this hour, Obama has rightly tumbled in the esteem of many women. Clift certainly took a nosedive with many women as well.-

I keep reading post about Obama's lack of experience. However Hillary seems to only have experience at manipulation. She was unconcerned about Michigan and Florida in December, but now when she needs those votes she is yelling at the top of her lungs to seat the delegates. No candidate campaigned in those states because the all agreed that the delegates would not count.

Every one should read The Florigan FAQs on this site. It clearly outlines what went wrong with Florida and Michigan. Some of the current decisions we can trace back to Terry McAuliffe, Clinton's campaign advisor. Clinton also originally opposed seating the delegates from Florida and Michigan for violating the rules. She made an about-face only when she was getting the votes. Clinton views the Democratic party as "all-about-me." The Democratic party needs to be "all about we." Obama's remarks toward Clinton have been conciliatory. (He doesn't have any control over Michale Pfleger.) I do not see anything of that in the Clinton camp. In this case, who is demonstrating the most leadership? And, who is putting party and country first?

I only hope that fate does not befall your family members who "serve". FYI if they are in the active military that is waht they are instructed to say, and they are under a blanket GAG order and speaking one way or another about any of it.

When Hillary Clinton decided to campaign for the democratic nomination for President she signed papers at the DNC and at each state & territory that held a nominating contest that she pledged to uphold, support and defend the rules of the DNC and each state or territories rules. She also swore to abide by these rules and support the eventual nominee.
If Hillary Clinton finds herself unable or unwilling to honor her sworn oaths on supporting and upholding the rules of the contest what other oaths and pledges would she be willing to toss under the bus?
Her oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States?
How about the Pledge of Allegiance?
Her taxes and other financial disclosure forms?
Since she is standing up before the whole world and publicly demonstrating that oaths and sworn statements that bear her signature have no meaning why should we trust her to honor any others?-
