Here's the "TRUE" Democrat rankings list based on proven LEADERSHIP ABILITIES and overall QUALIFICATIONS: (And I'm not a Democrat!)
1. Bill Richardson
2. Joe Biden
3. Chris Dodd
4. John Edwards
5. Hillary Clinton
6. Dennis Kucinich
7. Barack Obama
Gee, go figure! Democrats had a real shot at taking back the W.H. this time around and you folks BLEW IT!
Do Democrats really believe that this ROOKIE from Chicago, ILL is going to beat John McCain come November? Granted, he has got a much better chance than HRC would have; nevertheless, it's a long shot! The Dem Party never learns do they? This was supposed to be a walk in the park for you folks this election year. But no, IMHO, you folks chose to present America with TWO of the weakest Democratic Candidates and then have the audacity to call it a historic primary race. Please!
Had you put forth one of the real top-tiered candidates like Richardson, Biden (even Al Bore) your party would have walked right into the Oval Office. No doubt! In fact, I probably would have voted for either Richardson or Biden. Heck, a "Richardson / Biden" Ticket would have been the HOT TICKET!
But nooooooo ... you folks tried to shove two of the most unqualified candidates down the American people's throat just to boost the amount of new Democratic voter registration among African Americans, Women, and College Kids. Well ...
I guess only time will tell if your brilliant planned worked. Personally, I don't think so, but we shall see.
I think we ALL NEED to pray on this election!!!
P.S. Excuse any typos or mistakes, I'm just getting up. Haven't had a full cup yet.
It's a shame that the American people can't vote and be counted anymore, so much for the majority wins. Since it only takes Super delagates to make the choice for America, why even have a National vote??? Seems to me the Super delagates are making the choice here not the actual Americans... So much much for America< looks like she has been flushed down the tolit along with her pride and GOD! Please, GOD BLESS AMERICA, she needs it!!!!!
Why are the Clintonistas so "angry" anyway? Hillary ran a fabulous race, showed herself to be a strong and talented leader, and established a clear possibility for 2012, if not an actual VP or other high-level role in the next Democratic Administration. What is there to be ANGRY ABOUT?
She lost the nomination, not because she is a woman, but for many complex reasons, and many of which point to poor planning and possibly an underestimation of Obama's and/or other candidates' chances of beating her. She overestimated, perhaps, her strengths - and it's only been lately that she seems to have found her message and her stride. She did EXTREMELY WELL and all Hillary supporters should BE VERY PROUD.
But Obama is the likely winner. And being angry, hurt, pissed off, ranting against the unfairness of the rules (that she in fact wanted to bend, despite agreeing to them in the first place), is just plain dumb. Get over it, and get behind Obama .. He too is highly talented, charismatic, brilliant -- but he's also an extraordinarily gifted organizer, manager and communicator - I think that is the reason he is winning. It has nothing to do with Hillary being treated unfairly by the press or anyone else. This guy is just a master - the master at his game, and with so much more potential to add to his already splendid performance and Presidential debut during the campaign season.
Nobody could have seen him coming, at least not like this, and nobody means any disrespect for Hillary. I myself graduated from her same alma mater (college) and I would normally have supported her if I hadn't been so impressed with Mr. Obama.
So let's join forces and get over the "anger" and the sense of "unfairness" -- it's just not really rational or reasonable and we need all the help we can get in the Fall to get a Dem in the White House. It's not likely to be Hillary.
Go Obama!
After watching Obamanator's link http://youtube.com/watch?v=kcdnlNZg2iM I now can understand why a lot of people are angry. I don't watch TV so I had no idea how mean and hateful the media was to Hillary. It makes me sick. I never took seriously when anybody claimed sexism but it is the only explanation.
I never heard anything like regarding a politician or anybody else.
I just watched the Youtube video. It definitely shows the ugly side of the media's coverage of this election. I would expect more from professional journalists.
However, Senator Clinton, in my opinion, has put herself in the position to receive some criticism and mocking. In reference to her changes in personality and behavior, her attempts to do whatever it takes to win votes are pretty obvious, and one can rightfully accuse her of being somewhat phony in this regard. Her act of being hard as nails one minute to show she's strong enough to be commander-in-chief, then crying for the female voters the next minute is calculated. And how can we not poke fun at someone who will fabricate a story about dodging sniper fire in order to look tough? Putting on a false Southern accent when speaking in Southern states is another example. Claiming that every vote counts, then disregarding caucus states and "insignificant" states. Her behavior has invited some ridicule.
You and the media didn't feel you have to poke fun at Obama, when he said his parents met in Selma 4 years after he was born so he belongs to Selma.. or when he said it was the Kennedy foundation (that didn't exist yet) that brought his father here so he was born thanks to the Kennedys etc.
Oh lighten up - if this links to the mocking preist in Obama's church (I can't download from my current computer), then I thought it was food for Saturday Night Live - how could you watch that man and not laugh at his parody? It was silly, it was funny, and it was meant tongue-in-cheek. Does Hillary not have a sense of humor??? Is everyone else losing theirs?? The commentator on the news could barely hold back a smile once she aired this footage on the news - and she was an avowed Hillary supporter! For pete's sake, folks, lighten up!!!!
It's parody - P-A-R-O-D-Y - check into it!
Nice post! It does no good to play the blame game now, and Obama deserves credit for running a stellar campaign to come out of nowhere and beat the long-favored front-runner. Clearly, he's doing something right. Let's rally and win in November!
Look at the New York Post story. Why do they attack their own Senator? Grace starts with the MSM. You've had absolutely none and I can't imagine you developing any. You will be the ones to decide if you continue to bash Senator Clinton for her loss and/or Bill's craziness or celebrate Obama's win allowing Senator Clinton to transfer roles gracefully. She'll survive no mater what happens and come out on top of the MSM.
Do you ever consider how Chelsea feels? 'Pimped out' like Shuster thinks? Why did CNN have that disgusting college student on--twice? What about the nutcracker? Just think of her as a daughter who had to live in the public eye through all that as a teenager. Grow some kind of humanity. Do you realize Chelsea can't go anywhere without seeing the hate directed at her mother? Senator Clinton's grandchildren will be reading this one day--and your children. Will they be proud of your words? Your lack of simple respect and kindness? Chelsea's mother got the same amount of votes as the Democratic nominee - over 17M voters voted for a woman. Recognize it for once. Why do we always hear about race? Instead of mocking the Clinton supporters for their unfound "grievances", acknowledge how it feels to have your nominee come back from an 11 in-a-row losing streak. Rocky indeed. And not only did Senator Clinton come back - she campaigned better than Obama. Even the biggest Clinton hater has to admit to that. Look at the massive point spreads in the homestretch not. Whose limping home? Who couldn't throw the KO punch? Why?
How important are the delegates from Idaho and other red states? This election is much closer than the MSM is willing to admit. And it has been since TX & OH. Just remember the best thing you can do for Obama is to leave Senator Clinton alone. Let's see how much you wanted Obama to win vs you wanted him because it wasn't Clinton?
Feel sorry for Chelsea because her father was a public adulterer and from the most public house in the nation? Yes, I realize children can't choose their parents....
But I had to explain to my children why President Bill was being impeached and why everyone on the news was talking about Monica and the stain on the blue dress. What do they tell their children about how they don't respect the President they grew up with?
First, it's the New York Post for God's sake!
Also, neithe4r side has a monopoly on virtue here. Go to the rooms where they discuss race and you'll see another kind of hatred that has also been a factor here. I could have read thoe comments and decided that Clinton was a sleazy racist. But I do not confuse the comments in the blogosphere with the candidates or what they stand for....
Systems88- very well said. Thank you.
Hussein Obama has misrepresented himself and lied to the American people long enough. Hussein Obama says he resigned from his ???church??? but what about his beliefs in the Black Liberation Theology taught in this place and he was there for 20 LONG YEARS!!
Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a Black Muslim from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white ATHIEST from Wichita, Kansas.
Moderate Muslims can???t tolerate Obama. Michelle Obama says she???s not proud of her country. She???s waiting for Americans to elect her husband for President before she changes her claim that all Americans are racist. Hussein Obama is close friends with radical, racist disturbing people. This list includes William Ayers, Rev Wright, Rev Moss, Father Pfleger, Farrakhan and not to mention his shady deals with Rezko and Mayor Daley.
Hussein???s parents met at the University of Hawaii. When Hussein Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia. When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a Catholic school. Hussein takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim.
He is quick to point out that, "He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school." Hussein Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that Hussein???s introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Hussein Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son's education. Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Hussein Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Hussein was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta. Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. The terrorists that crashed into the Twin Towers were once all enrolled in the study of Wahabism..just as Hussein Obama was!!
Since it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major public office in the United States, Hussein Obama claims to have found ???Jesus Christ??? in this Trinity United Church in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background.
Be cautious concerning Obama's expected Presidential candidacy. The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the President of the United States, one of their own!!!! ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office - he considered to use the Kuran, not the Holy Bible, ( Kuran is Muslim ???Bible??? but very different beliefs) Hussein also refuses to pledge allegiance to the USA flag.
How can the DNC let this guy slip through the cracks? Hussein Obama is not electable. Ammo for the GOP !!
Well, he's lucky to live in Canada. Prescription drugs are reasonable and I imagine that he will be able to treat his teenage acne pretty cheap. Soon as things clear up enough to go outside, he'll find a good friend of the opposite sex and forget all about politics. Meantime, we need to let him play on the rug with his torn up dictionary. Give him a break.
Old boy from Canada is kind of like an exploding dictionary. The pieces of the pages fall down, he stirs 'em up and shares them with us. Whether we need it or not. It's real hard to mix Nazi Germany, 1932-1945, together with Chelsea Clinton. Uses a candidate's second name instead of the first for dramatic effect. I would guess that he doesn't like the U.S. How about, "this guy is kindergarten"? Concerned Canadian is likely a graduate of the George Bush school of grammatical usage? I didn't know that they had a Canadian branch. Keep 'em coming, concerned canadian. Like the monkey at the telegraph key. You are going to make sense if you keep trying. We are all for you. Hard to make a mistake in politics. Almost everything is true.
'Harde to make a mistake in politics. Almost everything you say is true.'
Priceless....
Everybody, just ignore Concerned Canadian. He is not a serious person. He's just a s*** disturber, gets his kick lobbing grenades into discussions.
Just ignore him and take away his oxygen....
Hillary Clinton will tell everyone to screw it...she will tell Hussein Obama you're on your own !!
Well system88...the US media is the Nazi Germany propaganda media machine for Hussein Obama. How bout that chump college student asking those phoney vile questions to Chelsea ? The idiot probably was a plant for Hussein Obama. The media propaganda machine made a stink about it for all the wrong reasons...they wanted to embarrass the Clintons. Thats it...thats all. Now, if I was Bill Clinton I would have kicked that chump idiot college punk in the balls...if he had any !
Hussein Obama got the kingmaker treatment from the DNC. Hussein Obama , despite outspending Hillary Clinton by trillions in the primary race couldn't close the deal. Hussein Obama....this guy is kindergarten.
Merry Christmas Hussein Obama...even though your a Muslim...the DNC covered your ass. All those 59 delegates for free from Michigan and for good measure they stole 4 delegates from Hillary Clinton and gave them to you. Nice gesture...that'll go a long way to unite whatever it is you are trying to unite. And it took the dumb DNC ...what....15 hours to come up with this brilliant idea.....useless waste of skin these DNC members...plain and simple.
I like this..its funny.....hey Donna Brazile .." you Momma !! " ....nice..really nice.
Respectfully, Ms Cliffn, you have no idea of which you speak. It would have given you some integrity had you attempted to try to understand by talking to a Clinton supporter. Instead you continue with the flippant and demeaning remarks and lower yourself by bringing up cleavage. Why?
Obama spent $175M on TV ads - Senator Clinton $46M. He won 13/14 caucuses, of which 4 are blue. They are basically even with the popular vote. She has the electoral votes from the states she won. No one has mentioned Obama voters who voted for him early who may no longer support him.
Ask yourself this: If Obama was a woman who spent only 150 days in the senate and missed 40% of the votes and only 33 days out of the country (1 day in the UK, 2 in Iraq and zero days in Afghanistan and Pakistan (he refused to go with his CODEL and instead went to Qatar, Jordan and met with Palestinian leaders and students) ever even make it to Iowa? Not a chance.
Learn something. I dare you. See from an objective standpoint as a "journalist" -- not woman -- the way the MSM has treated Senator Clinton. Watch this and then tell us what you think as an informed writer. Watch it and then talk to Clinton supporters about anger and about grace.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=kcdnlNZg2iM
No one has mentioned the early Obama supporters who may no longer support him? That's so ridiculous, as if Clinton and McCain don't also have deserters. Lame...
Actually I don't support him partly because of Wright. I don't agree with the black liberation theory, and i might be overly macho but I can't respect somebody who listens politely for years when his mother's race is vilified. What kind of person does that? except of course if he agrees, and then again what kind of person is he?
You don't have to agree with the views of the church, but I can respect Senator Obama for wanting to learn about the plight of African Americans in the US, and for searching for a place where he, a bi-racial American, will fit in. Obama has proven that he is open-minded about learning in order to make sound judgements (as when he expressed an interest in talking to hostile nations before engaging them in war). There are certainly things he could have done that would be worse than learning about different viewpoints (see Hillary's long list of lies and games).
To learn about the plight of AA-s you don't have to join a church that hates white just because they are whites. Can you imagine anybody even be considered if the colors would be switched?
And it still doesn't excuse him for not defending his mother and grandparents.
If he fits in somewhere where they hate whites we have a problem. Even if we don't think about him as biracial. As half white is even more curious.
As for lies I think he had his share too.
Actually, NO ONE, man or woman, with that resume should have been able to get this far. But Obama did. How did that happen? I think it is because of the times, the message, and the unique talents of the messenger.
You cannot overstate how unprecedented the Obama phenomen is, and it cannot be explained by the fact that he is an African American man. At least, I can't fugure out how....
You know what? When people are sick and tired of the same old BS out of Washington, it makes perfect sense that a perceived "political outsider" would do so well. In my opinion, Obama has shown that he is smart, rational, and inspirational. If electing someone with piles of experience means voting for McCain, then no thanks. And Hillary doesn't have much more experience than Obama. So if both candidates are matched on the issues and are both Senators with only a few years in the Senate, then I am free to vote on personality and character, and that's why I'm voting for Senator Obama.
The anti Clinton dems wanted to run somebody against Hillary and they had to pick somebody black because that was the only possibility for somebody else to win. With money from moveon.org etc they came up with Obama. He had a lot of support and money from the beginning. I can't find the link to the article I think it was in Washington Post.
We are getting ready to kick the republican door in. Hillary and Bill are absolutely necessary in this task. They are too professional to drop out. Their legacy and our history are at stake.
So what do you suggest? That the Clintons steal the nomination and ace Obama out? Then you'll have a mess on your hands.
I blame Hillary for splitting the Democratic party this season - she has been much too combative and should have realized that earlier on - she may have won if she'd only focused on her positive messages rather than look for opportunities to deride Obama. That is old-school and so yesterday's politics. Everyone is so sick of dirty tricks afer 7 years of Bush lies. Enough already - people are ready for a change. And if you're not sure how that will manifest, why not take a leap of faith that the Democrats will figure it out and Obama will lead the charge? Hillary and Bill are valuable, sure, but why on EARTH do they want the WHITE HOUSE BACK after 8 previous years of scandal, controversy and antagonism?? What is prompting them to INSIST that they must have it back? There should be a limit on the number of years a single family can dominate the White House - and that applies to Bushes too.
No more Clintons, no more Bushes. Yeeeccchhh!!!!
Concerned Canadian,
Who cares what religion he is? He is a Christian - and if he were Moslem, I'd still be voting for him. We're not at war with Moslems, we're at war with terrorists.
Duh, wake up and stop posting these diatribes that are not true.
You sound really stupid.
Cheers - a concerned Democrat
He's not a Christian you moron...what part do you not understand ?..I'd give u a good kick in your ass right now if I was there...stupid simpleton.
Hussein Obama didn't on his merit. He won by a rigged process for him to win. People won't vote for him.
McCain and the GOP will expose what the DNC won't and Obama will be just a tiny footnote in US political history. People will not allow Hussein Obama to trick them twice..get it..now shut up traitor !!
I second you on this!
I must say that only a lady could get by with using the word "whine" in the title of this article, and it is not certain that she did get by with it.
It is very difficult to remove gender from a society which consists of people almost equally divided in number between the two genders. Then, some are more sensitive than others, and easy to take offense when none is intended. There are very complex relationships between the genders involving courtship, mating, and reproducing that come into the picture. It is to our credit that we are trying to do this in such a way that all citizens can live in a state of equality, same as we have so energetically done in matters of race for many years now. It will probably never be completely done right, but, for heaven's sake, give those of us who have tried with all our might to make happen a break. Try not to be so damned sensitive when we inadvertently screw up. We are doing our best.
OK, I'm beginning to see these sexism charges differently. I think there is an absolute rage out there whose cause is not necessarily Obama or his campaign, or even his supporters (up to a point). It is a rage at the overall environment that allows a person who all agree is extremely qualilfied and talented to be treated as the butt of jokes. It is a rage at both specific words, but also of a culture that seems to humiliate women as easily flicking lint off your clothes. Almost absent-mindedly.
It is a rage caused by pain inflicted thoughtlessly. Nothing personal.
We think we are now part of a 'post-racism' or 'post-sexist' age, because everyone can acknowledge that racism and sexism are bad things, and we are not bad people. But just because we are ignorant or inseensitive does not mean that we are not wrong.
We can continue here to discuss the specifics back and forth, exchange insults, refuse to listen to each other, etc. But then it just all continues. And then we are not so good people.
These are changing times and there is much to be done. And for me, the whole idea behind Obama is that we unite and do it together. The old ways just keep us separate needlessly. I agree that it is hard work. I am just getting a glimpse myself into how this sexism thing works.
Anyone interested should indeed go to http://youtube.com/watch?v=kcdnlNZg2iM. Just listen to the first few minutes, 'cos the rest becomes just another political ad. But listen to the comments of those in the media. Just off-hand comments. Not even the subject of what they are saying. But imagine having to absorb that as your hero, this admirable and talented person, is being belittled so easily. And imagine that you have seen this happen to other women every day, but you don't say anything about it 'cos you don't want to make a big deal about nothing.
Creating the coalition we need to create real change is going to be difficult. But don't addd to the difficulty. Start by at least wanting to work together...
Thanks for the link, it is amazing..
ELEANOR CLIFF:
"The key to the winner winning is how the loser loses."
And how the loser loses is up to the winner. The winner has to win with grace to allow the non-winner to lose gracefully. The great uniter has allowed his oppon
ent to be trashed in the MSM day after day after day - never once speaking up. The transcender of race has allowed Senator Clinton and her supporters to be portrayed as racists. The MSM is only now addressing the sexism and outright misogyny when Clinton supporters have been writing the DNC and MSM about it for six months. It didn't just "come up". MSM just woke up
Democratic Party unity is a fantasy. Senator Clinton can ask all she wants but what was done to her was inhumane. Obama is the one who has to apologize to Senator Clinton and her supporters. Why can't you get this?
"Sexism by whom? By the press? By Barack Obama?"
The fact that you had to ask this proves you have no idea what's going on. NEWSWEEK is not remotely in touch with reality. And because you can't understand it - you can't judge whether or not it's proportional to reality. Pulling out a chair and cleavage references are nothing.
Imagine a Michelle Obama nutcracker. A t-shirt referring to her as a ho'. Imus anyone? Beck calling Michelle: "It". Synder saying it's time to take Michelle behind the barn. Castellanos calling Michelle a black b*tch and saying it's time to take the family dog to the vet.
Matthews saying that the only reason Obama became a senator was because Michelle was a wh*re. Shuster saying Michelle was pimped out. Rudin equating Michelle with psychopath Glenn Close. Barnicle saying Michelle reminds him of every man's first wife outside probate court. Limbaugh referring to Michelle's testicular lockbox.
Hold water yet? How many would still have their job? What if it were you? Your mother? Daughter? Go to Hillaryspeaksforme.com and watch a few videos.Learn about what you don't know before you write about it.
"Younger women do not feel the lash of gender the way their elders wish they would." Hello. Who fought to make that possible? And what else would you exact from Obama's demographic?
"His antiwar stance gave him a moral claim on which to stake his candidacy."
There was no consequence to his "speech", A speech so impactful it wasn't even mentioned in the paper the next day and there's no live recording of it. What exactly was said? Obama never had a vote. Period. And when it came to action his *moral claim* became just that - a claim. Just more NEWSWEEK Obama propaganda. McClellan knowingly or not spewed propaganda for the President. NEWSWEEK knowingly spewed propaganda to get a president elected. History will determine which was more heinous.
Rev Jackson said in the NY Times that he wasn't offended and read nothing into Bill Clinton's comment. But it got the black vote solidly behind Obama. The SC primary was moved up for a reason. Ask Clyburn.
What wa
Thank you, magenta. You have said it clearly - especially about the South Carolina primary.
Yes thank you for using the Ms Clift's own words. Imagine if they didn't move up South Carolina and Nevada to provide more "racial diversity" for Obama. Fair rules? It wasn't a lottery and it clearly was no coincidence. look what happened after South Carolina? What if the DNC moved up Michigan and Florida instead? Would be a very different election wouldn't it? One might conclude that it was biased to begin with. And then there are the caucus states that Clinton's base can't attend: shift workers, elderly and working moms..I'm not one of those bitter Bible clingin' gun slingin' bowling alley babes. Funny word to continue to come out of the Obama camp. I'm frustrated with the corrupt MSM, who have influenced this campaign from day one. This has been borne out and will be proven to exist in the future. I am going on record that Obama is a con. Don't bother Obama supporters. One either sees it or one doesn't. He's a fraud and the MSM & DNC are in the bag for him. This will also be borne out and proven by an uncorrupted media source. Why? The evidence is already available. Much of it on these blogs. Thanks again magenta. I saw your post on NARAL. Also good.
I ask Hillary's angry women supporters to ignore the fact that she is a woman for a moment. If she weren't, would they be supporting a candidate who voted for the Iraq war, made lame excuses for the vote and never really apologized to the American and Iraqi people for the vote's contribution to the war? Would they be supporting a candidate who appears to be so lacking in integrity, scruples, and honesty? Will just any woman do? I want to be pround of the first woman nominee, and I could never be proud of Hillary.
Then why not keep it to yourself. Who are you helping with this? And please educate yourself. Obama had absolutely no say on Iraq - he had no vote. None. Nothing. And when he got to the US Senate he did nothing to back his words. Nothing. And while you're passing judgment, you might want to ponder that 2971 of Senator Clinton's constituents were murdered and she was representing them and their families. You may also want to remember that when Obama gave his 2004 speech at the Convention he didn't mention Kerry's vote. Educate yourself. And if you have nothing positive to say, don't say it.
This is a fairly abrasive response to something that, to me. seemed pretty level headed. I would rather have a storng woman candidtate that I believed and trusted rather than just any woman who has a familiar name. I don't believe Hillary is a good candidate and with some of the things coming out of the Clinton campaign right now it's really going to make people take pause next time a woman candidate is presented.
I wonder if you read the entire initial post. She starts out by addressing Clinton supporters as "angry". Then Senator Clinton's "lame excuses about the war". What does this poster know about Iraq or the arguments made on the floor of the Senate? Obama said in 2004 when he was running for US Senate that he didn't know how he would have voted and took his speech of his website. He voted the same as Clinton. He talked. That's it. He had no vote. It was politically expedient. If Iraq went ok - no problem. If it doesn't - he ends up where he is. When he could have taken a stand and made good on his "moral claim" - he didn't - he voted the same as Senator Clinton. This is the major part of the frustration. There are many Obama supporters in these rooms who actually think he had a vote and many others don't realize that what he said was not carried out by his acts. What he said meant absolutely nothing and was indeed a fairy tale.
"Would they be supporting a candidate who appears to be so lacking in integrity, scruples, and honesty? Will just any woman do? I want to be proud of the first woman nominee, and I could never be proud of Hillary."
Was this meant to make Clinton supporters less "angry"?
There was 80% support for the vote on Iraq both in the congress and the population. Powell with all his credibility went to the UN to promote it. We have heard only the intel that supported it.
Obama was not in the senate at the time and he said when he got there that he probably would have voted for the war and he voted for the continuation every time. So don't try to blame it on Hillary.
And not all of her supporters are angry women.
Good point! At least your honest.
Obamanator:
Here's a message to your leader. If he announces tomorrow that he is the nominee - it will be the final straw for all those "angry Clinton supporters". It will also reveal how much he is interested in Party unity. He staged it in Iowa and now in Minnesota. Great for the documentary. Not good for the general election. It's up to him. He needs to draw Clinton supporters and nothing will polarize them for good then him stealing her last night. I hope the DNC has enough class to wait to Wednesday morning. You talk about grace? We'll see what grace is and who displays it.
