This isn't for the women, it is for Hillary. She wants to popular vote so she can go to the superdelegates to get them to change their minds. Harold Icke helped write the rules for the DNC so he knew all along what could happen. There were at least three of Hillary supporters who said they would put the money up for a re-vote. Carville, Corzine and Rendel. All Hillary's supporters. Does that give anyone a clue what the outcome would have been? I am proud to be a woman, but I make my own choices. Everyone knew the rules. I just don't think you can honestly change the rules in the middle of the game. .I know everyone wants the person they support to win, but that doesn't always happen. We all need to pull together and not let John McCain become president. I am an Obama supporter but if HIllary by any chance becomes the nominee I would support her.

Team work is WE GO NOT EGO! Reguardless of who wins they will be better for the country than four more years of Bush.

Why don't Obama supporters march also? That would at least make this interesting.

WE KNOW, FOLLOW, AND ABIDE, BY HIS CHOICE TO EXCLUDE BOTH FLA AND MI BY LAW, AND WE DON'T HAVE A WANT TO CHANGE THE RULES TODAY. OBAMA WOULD NOT WANT IT ANY OTHER WAY! IF HE WERE IN CLINTONS SHOES, TODAY. HE WOULD HAVE DROPPED ALLREADY, AND ALLOWED THE PARTY TO UNITE, AND BUSTED HIS KEESTER TRYING TO DO SO!

We have been asked not to. We have been asked to stand down, not cause a fuss. Basically asked to act responsible, reasonable, and not add to the problem.

Forgot. The new hillimath says caucus states don't matter. Now she, herself, is stating she is disenfranchising other voters where she LOST. Geezo, what a team player. A loss is still a loss and she lost. Get over it and go iron a shirt!

This is the kind of thing we do not need to be putting out there. This is the attitude that forward thinkers and lookers want to see become history, as it should be. Being a woman does not mean stay at home, do the chores and housework, cook all the meals, have and take care of the babies, etc. It means being part of a team, in a marriage. And not the bottom half at that. Equals works best.

Hell, I know men who enjoy staying home and taking care of the house, the kids, the housework, etc. Kudos to them.

Is it that common sense is seeing its ending in even advanced country like America? Why would people make proplem out of this. Why not give DNC the chance to decide on this issue?

You can never win a game playing by someone else's rules you have to change the rules. The Clinton's are aware of this.
I'm from Florida and come election time I'm not a proud Floridian. I wonder what will our officials do this time. Obama is right to want change, as well as most Americans.
The world today offers us: Killing of innocent people, molesting of children. backing our boss and being called a rat when we have a change of heart and realize that the lies caused the deaths of some fellow Americans child's life, the constant outsourcing of jobs in America which is blocking the the American Dream for oh so many.

This is bigger than The Clinton's desire to control the White House. This is about Your & my children. Now if Hillary is more important than your child go ahead fight to tear down the party. I only ask that when things keep getting worst and you lose your Dream. Don't complain remember your thoughts were cloudy and a guy who voted for bush twice tried to tell you so.

While I am a big supported of Hillary Clinton and would love to see her as president, but it's not happening the round. She knew the situation with FL and MI, had she not won would she still want the votes to count, I don't think so. It's time to move on and Get that THING out of the White House and keep McCain out as well. As much as women want to see a woman president, not this election. Please Hilliary stop being a sore

    loser.

I'm a woman and I count for sure and so do my numerous women friends. We are professionals, several still in the work force and ohers like me retired after 40 years of Nursing. These women do not speak for us and yes, we all agree this is a Clinton tacitic to stir the mush...ladies...Barack Obama treats all people well and don't play this gender card as Senator Clinton continues to do..

Why, and how does Hillary's being female affect her viewpoint on the issues that she'll face as president? The problem I have with the whole Michigan, and Florida thing, is that there were rules laid down. ALL of the candidates agreed to abide by the rules. Hillary was the sure "front runner" then. Now, that she's sorely behind, she wants to change the rules, and have it her way. Heck, Obama didn't even campaign in either of the states, nor was his name even on the ballot in Michigan. Sounds like a Pakistani election to me!

No, Hillary is acting just like a spoiled little rich girl, that if she doesn't get her way, "You just watch out! I'll whine all the way to the convention".. IF the democrats loose the election this year, she, and she alone is to blame. Female or not, it makes no difference on her issues. Her "spoiled rich girl" attitude tells ME, for one, just how she'll act as president. Just like Bush!

The last sentence: ."......Lawyers should not be deciding the outcomes of our elections" Nice try! Hillary is a lawyer, not a very good one, and is trying to incite a riot? She also signed a pledge yada yada yada. She is using this group(s) to try and commit further cheating. She needs to be tarred and feathered and run out of Washington!

    • Posted By: pinkpanther87413 @ 05/30/2008 3:05:17 PM

AT ONE TIME I WOULD HAVE AGREED TO THE"HER LEAVING" AS I DO NOT DIS ANYONE IN THE RACE BUT MCCAIN. YOU KNOW COUNTRY,PARTY AND THIS TIME BOTH ARE ONE IN THE SAME. AS TIME WENT ON AND HRC STARTED TO GET DIRTY, IT BECAME CLEAR THAT NOW I AGREE WITH THE TAR AND FEATHERS!! SHE IS GIVING THE NEXT WOMAN WHO GETS THIS FAR, A REPUTATION, TO OVERCOME, AND THAT IS WRONG TO DO! IF A WOMAN EVER GETS A CHANCE! MRS CLINTONS LEGACY, WILL RUIN IT FOR THEM ALSO,,, THAT IS WRONG!

  • Posted By: kpetz @ 05/30/2008 2:59:21 PM

Hillary is just using these women to further her cause. She sure didn't care about their votes when the rules were decided. Now that is imperative those votes count, she is going to encourage these women to protest. As a woman, I am glad these people don't speak for me. The Clintons always want to rewrite the rules as they need to so this is no surprise at all

  • Posted By: goldpointe @ 05/30/2008 2:58:47 PM

Nothing sexist about it. If Obama and his supporters had tried to have the rules reqwritten long after they had been agreed upon to gain advantage, then I would say the same thing about them. Hillary and her supporters who dwell on the Florida and Michigan issue are whiners and sow the seeds of divisiveness when we need unity. I don't mind that Hillary is taking the process to the bitter end, but if she insists on taking it past the last state's election and caucus process, then she is proving that it is only her own ego and sense of self-importance that she cares about.

Senator Clinton has done very little for the image of women. Any feminst that has hitched her wagon to Hillary's hose is all but misguided. She has taken the movement and image of women back to a place where we aught not wish to go. Her defense of her misstatement - being under sniper fire in Bosnia - and her unthinkable articulation of the idea of assassination as rationale for her remaining in the race . . . her defense of being TIRED does not bode well for any affirmation of women in the professional world! She is the personification of all the negative stereotypes of women . . . bitter, sore loser, tired, hysterical etc. Hillary for the sake of the nation, be bold . . . and step aside. Your image and reputation will grow exponentially!!!!!!

Initially as a yellow dog democrat I supported Hillary. Her conduct during this election campaign makes me sick to my stomach. Florida and Michigan violated the rules. All parties (hello including Hillary Clinton) agreed to abide by these sanctions. When Hillary started having trouble she tried to change the rules again and again. As you know by now a new tribe was just discovered, never before seen. My guess is Hillary will want their vote counted as well. UNDERSTAND THIS--- I HAVE NEVER VOTED REPUBLICAN, NEVER BUT IF HILLARY IS THE NOMINEE NOT ONLY WILL I VOTE REPUBLICAN BUT WILL GIVE MCCAIN THE MAX ALLOWED BY LAW. I simply cannot believe healthy normal people would support Hillary Clinton.

    • Posted By: pinkpanther87413 @ 05/30/2008 2:57:13 PM

SORRY FOR ALL CAPS I CAN'T SEE VA DON'T DO EYES. YOU AND EVERY REPUBLICAN TOO. AS THEY SAY "CLINTON NO",, BUT,,, OBAMA, THEY WILL STAY HOME AND NOT VOTE. AS MOST OF THEM SAY, WHERE I LIVE. THEY [GOP] ARE SLIGHTLY EMBARRASED BY BUSH, AND CLINTON SCARS THEM!! WHERE OBAMA DOES NOT.

Funny. This woman says the Bush years are the worst in our history. While I wouldn't argue with her on that point, her response is to support a candidate to succeed him based almost solely on her gender. Obviously the lesson of electing a President based on trivialities is lost on her and the rest of her PAC.

This is ridiculous. I'm from Michigan and I think none of the delegates should be seated. The democratic parties of both states broke the rules. That should be the end of the discussion. I used to support Hillary but I see now she is nothing more than a selfish, self-important, cry baby and sore loser. I wouldn't support her if she were running for dog catcher.

    • Posted By: sjpersonal @ 05/30/2008 2:56:11 PM

I was raised in Michigan and my family still lives there. My mom and I discussed this matter last summer, so you are right everyone knew what would happen if the primary was changed. Mi & Fl only became important when she realized that she was not an automatic shoe in for the nomination. Her supporters choose to forget this fact and instead choose to believe the BS that she is spinning about Obama being the reason that their votes were not counted.

She has crossed the sad and pathetic line. So sad because I was a long time Clinton supporter.
