HILLARY SAID SHE ADMIRES ROVE AS A TACTICIAN . WELL SHE IS ACTING LIKE HIM, ACCUSING OBAMA OF STEALING THE ELECTIONS FROM HER WHEN IN REALLITY SHE IS THE REAL THIEF. ROVE DID THE SAME TO AL GORE IN 2000

No comparison. Obama is WAY more subversive than Bush. Hussein's objective is to make America a part of Europe. And take orders from the U.N.

McCain has the answer. An alliance of the world's, Free Democracy countries. And the will power to tell the U.N. screw you.

Just weeks after winning the Democratic U.S. Senate primary in 2004, Barack Obama was the guest of developer Antoin "Tony" Rezko at a party for a controversial British billionaire whom Rezko was trying to lure into an investment, a witness testified Monday at Rezko's corruption trial.

Stuart Levine, the government's star witness, said Obama and his wife, Michelle, were among the guests at Rezko's home on April 3, 2004, for the party honoring Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born tycoon currently appealing a fraud conviction in France.

As he campaigns for president, Obama has acknowledged social and political ties to Rezko, as well as a real estate deal between the two that involved Obama's South Side home. But Obama has not disclosed his presence at the Auchi party, which Rezko threw as part of a campaign to persuade Auchi to pour money into a financially troubled 62-acre development in the South Loop.

Though not flatly disputing Levine's assertion, Obama spokesman Ben LaBolt repeated what the senator has said: "Sen. Obama does not recall meeting Nadhmi Auchi at any time or on any occasion, and this includes any event that may have been held for Mr. Auchi," LaBolt said.

Enter Your CommentThe CBS TV affiliate in Chicago is speculating that Tony Rezko may try to cut a deal with prosecutors in his ongoing corruption trial. If so, it could spell trouble for Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich and possibly even Barack Obama. The defense has weakened prosecution witness Stuart Levine, who agreed to testify in exchange for a reduced sentence. Levine was sometimes contradictory and Levine also admitted to using drugs. However, the last minute inclusion of Ali Ata as a prosecution witness may have bolstered the prosecution's case.

    The Post Turtle

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old Texas rancher, whose hand was caught in a gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man.
Eventually the topic got around to Obama and his bid to be our President.
The old rancher said, "Well, ya know, Obama is a 'post turtle'."
Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a 'post turtle' was
    .
The old rancher said, "When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a 'post turtle'.
"The old man saw a puzzled look on the doctor's face, so he continued to explain.

"You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while he is up there, and you just want to help the dumb ass get down."

You can say what you want about the South, but you never hear of anyone retiring and moving north.

Clinton uses any argument when ever it fits her need.. When she felt she needed to project a manly image she had a shot and a beer with the boys. She presentd herself as Rocky. She made statements like taking her daughter to Bosina and dodging sniper bullets because it was too dangerious for the President. to be there. Can you image any real femminst putting her child in harms way of sniper bullets while her man was "chillin " in the White House? Can you image any woman could utter the words Obliterate when it would mean killig inocent woman and children. How can you say "if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen" one minute and whine about how the boys are treating you the next.? How can rally the support of older under educated women and imply that women who are educated or younger are somehow elitist because they don't support you?

The truth is you are losing this contest because Obama ran a more succesful and smart campaign. You blew 100million dollars and had to loan yourself 11.5 million and even worse you still owe your incomptent campaign manager Mark Price (a man ) 5million. You lost this contest because just like Bush you refuse to accept responsibility for your own actions. You want us to believe you lost because you are a girl and we need to change the rules so you can wi

it is amazing that the WomenCount group actually sees this meeting as a bunch of people in a small room deciding the outcome of an election...the only group of people who decided the outcome were the florida and michigan committees...not the DNC...

As for the comments by daddy0159...grow up...no one retires and moves north because southerners are too ashamed to admit that they lost the war...when they surrendered to the north. Bunch of quitters if you ask me.

I have always thought women had more common sense than men, until now. I am embarrassed to be a woman. I see thousands of women voting for Hillary JUST BECAUSE SHE IS A WOMAN. These women want ALL the votes in Fla. and Mich. to go to Hillary. That is just plain petty and stupid.

    • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 05/31/2008 10:38:57 AM

I'm sure you likable enough too.

  • Posted By: barkway @ 05/31/2008 9:48:51 AM

Do you live in Florida? I do and I am opposed to having the delegates seated at the convention. Yes, OPPOSED. Why? Because the state Party leaders knew the consequences of allowing the Primary date to be moved up, and in the video at the link below, they can be seen sarcastically joking about the conseqiences. They expected all along to be able to break the DNC rules, and get away with it! They had other options they could have exercised like holding a Democratic caucus at a later date but they chose not to do so. It is NOT the fault of the presidential candidates that FL delegates were not to be seated at the convention. It is not the Republican Governor's fault either. The blame lies squarely at the feet of Florida Democratic Party leaders and besides, no one is denying Florida a vote in the General Election. And the votes WERE counted...they just have no delegates attached to that count. Don't like the DNC ruless? Work to change them. And by the way, the rules actually state that Florida gets its delegates cut by half for violating rules (not NO delegates).
All this talk about Florida voters being disenfranchised (and claims that it is Obama's fault) is just plain ignorant and wrong. If anything, the only truth to the various claims is that Obama honored the rules by not camapigning here and Hillary broke them by holding fundraisers and a victory party. Call your state Party leaders and complain to them. It's THEIR fault!

I mean for God's sake, it doesn't take a genius to realize who is a more decent person than the other. Honesty is something you guys need so badly right now. Someone who is as honest to you as to the rest of the world, in order for you guys really to be the leader of thethe free world

These women are delusional and out of step. Hillary Clinton does not represent "women", she represents her own narcissistic self. She could care less how the women of America think or feel, she just wants to be President and this particular bandwagon suits her needs. When will voters wake up and see The Clintons for the liars and cheats they are! That woman, Hillary, will destroy this country is elected President. She is totally devoid in the skill set and style necessary for the office of President, as evidenced by her management of her campaign and finances. This tact of "counting" the votes for Mi and FL is just a joke -- she agreed,, signed off on it and now that she is losing, wants to change the rules. The answer is an empathic NO. Time to pack it in Hillary, and go home -- West Virgina is calling.

    • Posted By: barkway @ 05/31/2008 10:13:08 AM

She sure does NOT represent me....and I am a white, middle-aged, college educated married woman with children. As far as I can tell, she represents rabid, hardcore Feminists and uneducated women...both of whom turn to excuses about "sexism" (among the MANY excuses put forth by her campaign) for why she is losing...and has lost.

  • Posted By: hardlens @ 05/31/2008 2:21:58 AM

Go for it. If the DNC does not count every vote in Michigan and Florida or try bullying tactics, every self respecting democrat should walk. The only reason there are superdelegates is so that they can vote by using their best judgement as to who is most likely to win in November.

    • Posted By: Donna1000 @ 05/31/2008 10:10:54 AM

I wish that was the only reason there are superdelegates. In reality, it seems to be more about their own self interests.

As for me and my daughter, after discovering this information, I will never allow my daughter to view "women's organizations" as anything but a manipulative duping of the strength of women. This is simply put in my book as disgraceful to use a feminist movement to play in the presidential race. I am ashamed for my gender and apologize to all Americans. I am a single mother raising a teen age daughter to know better than to perform this way. This is not about race, gender, or who is a bitter candidate. To these women it is about playing the hate card, a hatred toward the feeling of unfair treatment when really it probably dates back to a childhood mis-adaptation to life through undue adult influence.

Since day one, the party leaders have shown their arrogance just like the one they annointed early on. Now the party leaders and the annointed one face the ultimate decision: do they seat Florida and Michigan or are these Americans deprived of their right to have their votes counted? While I detest the party leaders and the annointed one, this decision in a way is fitting. After so many months of displaying their Arrogance toward Hillary, they are faced with a decision that does them no good in November. The party is badly splintered. We Hillary Democrats have as our goal to elect Hillary as the first Woman President of the United States of America. Hopefully, that will be within the democratic party; if not, we urge Hillary (and Michael Bloomberg) to form the dream party and ticket to provide Americans hope and ensure the security of our Nation. Remember, you brought this upon yourselves with your arrogance and you placed yourselves in this ridiculous position.

    • Posted By: Donna1000 @ 05/31/2008 10:03:24 AM

I would love to see a third party emerge. You suggest a ticket that could win.

  • Posted By: BuckNasty @ 05/30/2008 6:21:54 PM

No, the DNC is enforcing rules that EVERYONE is supposed to abide by. I hate that MI and FL voters would get left out, but it's the STATES' fault, so don't blame the DNC, blame the states. And we all know Hillary would be completely silent about this if it wouldn't help her chances. She's just USING the voters of FL and MI. She doesn't care about voters or votes.

The same people who claim that rules are rules are the same people who in 2000 demonstrated when the supream court followed the law (stronger than rules) and awarded the election to bush.

What level of hypocracy is displayed by OBAMA and his followers. But no wonder, what can you expect from Communists???

Irrelevant and overdone. One would think focusing on women 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year would be sufficient. Women only pander to and support other women, they don't give two hoots about men, society at large, or the bigger picture. It's all about them, and for that reason they are largely irrelevant these days.

  • Posted By: GrannieDiane @ 05/31/2008 9:45:23 AM

This is not a consitiutional issue. The Constitution does not govern political parties. The United States has a representative government. When you vote in a presidential election, you are participating in the Electoral College. When you vote in a legitimate Democratic Party primary, you are voting for a delegate. Popular vote may be a preferable system, but it's not the one we are currently operating under. As a 51-year old, white, feminist grandmother in Ohio, I cringe when I hear women complaining about the process that was agreed to, and demanding that the rules be changed so they can get what they want. That feeds into the stereotype that women can't compete without special treatment.
