Rachael Ray is totally hot, as a matter of fact I though about changing religions when I thought that she was wearing a kaffiyeh. Mmmmmmm, a nice iced cup of Rachael Ray would do me mighty fine. Just as a side note, Dunkin Doughnuts suck anyways.

Doesn't Pam Geller have better things to do.Get a life.
The bloggers that made those comments:
1. Need to get a job or hobby because they have way too much time on their hands
2. Are closed minded and racist. I have one of those and it was from my girlfriend. She brought it back from EGYPT when she was at a conference. We're white americans, but if we wear those we must be terrorists just like Rachel Ray.
3. Should do a little research before accusing an American donought company of supporting terrorists
4. Should realize they are not the only ones on this earth that matter. Like the article says, that type of fabric is used worldwide by many people.
This is the exact same type of "tempest in a teapot" that cost Dan Rather his anchor chair and senior 60 Minutes II producer, Mary Mapes, her job in 2004, when bloggers created a firestorm of protest over "facts" that later proved untrue. Corporate America owes it to all of us to stand by the truth, whatever the truth may be! I will be boycotting Dunkin Donuts, because they blindly followed the ravings of an idiot, which pretty much makes them BIGGER idiots! L.A. Parrish
I cant fault them for doing what they thought was right. Just like everyone they are covering their behinds when it comes to all the gripes by all the misinformed, intolerant populace.

I find it amazing that we are talking about a Dunkin' Doghnuts ad vs. the fact that idiotic bloggers are not talking about Obama. If they are so worried about Dunkin', why are they not worried that a man with his name and ethnicity could very well be our next leader? Face it, we can all find something to complain about, but this country was founded on certain freedoms and should continue to grow around these. Dunkin' should be ashamed that these few week minded people were allowed to have this big of an impact.
Bravo to Lorraine Ali for writing such a wonderful article! We need more people like you to inform the world whats REALLY giong on.
Wow. "Yousof" of CAIR says we need more CAIR plants and terror sympathizers. What a surprise.
If you're gonna address me correctly "Mirth," then spell my nic right. And.. Growing up with middle eastern/south central Asian, and Muslim's throughout my life--I know how it feels to live post 9/11 and how idiots like like accusing those people as "terrorists."
You'
Leave it to Newsweek to hire jihadists...Google the author....I did....look what I found...."Lorraine Ali, the Worst Political Reporter in America?" by Daniel Pipes (September 29, 2004) - article criticizing her alleged consistent pro-Islamist stance.
You ARE NOT a true American. Read the Constitution. There is a line that states, "All men are created equal." That means ALL men (i.e. mankind), not just some. Please get on the next plane leaving this country. We do not need, or want, anyone who believes that kind of tripe. Good day and God bless this great nation. May she return to her former glory when a Democrat takes the White House.
Unreal. It's not the point if you like DD's donuts or coffee better than anyone else's. If you don't like their food, don't go. The point is that as a country we have given in too many times to what a select few people have complained about that we are so worried about offending anyone. DD was in a tough situation. If they had kept the ad, there may have been more backlash. Yes, I personally feel they should have kept the ad. I didn't see any negative images in that campaign. But as a company you worry about any sort of backlash. So many other companies have done the same thing. You can't hate DD for what they did. If you don't like the donuts and coffee, don't go. But don't boycot them or bash them for what transpired. Boycot and bash the idiot who first wrote the article and put pressure on DD to remove the ad. I like DD and will continue to get my coffee and donuts from them. And will hope that one day, we won't have to worry if something offends someone. Get over yourself if it does.
I'm just a little guy, so all I can do is boycot the Dunkin Dummies. Had they taken the time and googled Yasser Arafat, they might have noticed that the late Chairman Arafat's head dress does not even come close to the scarf worn by Miss Ray!
Twenty bucks says they got the scarf at a thrift store for the commercial..
as for DD out to get us too fat to fight back...eh...there is this thing called free will...*Shrugs* Something that is excersised daily all over the world, not wisely sometimes but we cant blame companies for giving us cancer or making us fat...we do have a choice
The real question might be why Ms Ray was wearing a scarf of any type in what appears to be a somewhat warm, Spring day not to mention what a fashion faux pas this was.
one of the most ignorant things .....ever....fear mondering. great way to cave DD.
Now you have to deal with the people who are intolerant of racial and cultural ignorance. Now that's a reason not to eat DD....besides the fact that doughnuts, in general, are bad for your health if not taken in moderation.
DD is out to get us too fat to fight back and too caffeinated to concentrate... it is a conspiracy, run as fast as you can......
Get over it already. It's a scarf people, that's it. Nothing more than a fashion accessory. Pam Gellar and others really need to get a life and look for attention elsewhere. Perhaps we should be asking, "was Pam hugged enough as a child?"
I agree JustYourAverageGirl. Only I'd add that it was not a really good fashion choice anyway looks like a snake, dead or alive around her neck definately didn't go with her shirt.*chuckles*
Seanw3, I agree with you completely.I am christian, in the true sense of the word, I believe in Christ.and I often get looked down upon and criticized, for not following what the other masses of people who claim to be christian are doing. Not believing you have to go to a church to worship, not believing that you have to go to some other country and steal children and kill hteir pparents to save the world. To each his own?
Thank God someone else sees this whole debacle the same way I do. I'm really sick of everyone attributing the deeds of the zealots in the Middle East to the entire area's people. A scarf is a scarf in America and a kaffiyeh is a kaffiyeh in America or anywhere else around the world. Who could HONESTLY think that Dunkin' Donuts is a cover for some Middle Eastern jihaddist terror group waiting to get control of America...through coffee and breakfast snacks? Come on.
justyouraveragegirl, lol. good question.. maybe she should see a therapist.....
