Is Wal-Mart Too Liberal?

I live in a small town vicksburg mississippi. and We have people that shops from at least 4 states at our walmart. Every single day its full unless you go very early in the morning or very late at night. Now I love walmart the best thing that has ever happen in our town. But we need another one here to so people can shop at ease. and leazure. There are thousand of people per day there . I go at least 4 times a week. because I love to shop there It has everything I need.

I work for Wal-Mart and I enjoy my job as a Customer Service Manager. Yes they may not pay the best pay, but it is a reasonable amount if you know retail when you start, otherwise yeah i too would pay you less if you didnt know Retail.
I work for them parttime as a second income due to cost of living and expenses. Wal-Mart really was meant to be a supplimental income, not to rely on fulltime hours (which is 32-40 hours). Benefits i could care less about as i have great benefits at my full time job.
Wal-Mart has good stuff for reasonable prices compared to other places where most of the middle-low class cant afford upfront.
I love Wal-Marts supercenters, great prices compared to the grocery stores like Ralph's, Albertson's and Vons (in order of least expensive to most rediculously over priced). Why would i buy V8 Splash for over $3 at the grocery stores, when i can get it at Wal-Mart for around $2? you have to be a smart shopper in order find good deals, cause not everyone is cheaper than the other.
Too Liberal, NO. People need to realize one thing, WE DONT LIVE IN THE 70's, 80's or 90's anymore! Wake up and realize change is good, get used to it or move to another country (Bet you there is a Wal-Mart there too!)

Wally World too nice to unions? That is the biggest bunch of BS I've heard in a long time.

Fact Wally World is staunchly anti-union. Will fire it's employees for trivial matters. The retail grocery industry stinks as far as a place to work at that one can be at ease at. Wally World smells the worst.

I agree very much with the comments Posted By: The Redneckbaron . If you don't like the values a company has then shop somewhere else. I also agree its not just one side that has screwed over people its both sides! Isn't it strange how this country can be torn apart by separatism of parties, its the whole "he said she said" deals with the lefty or righty parties and it needs to stop, and its so sad that our very first president warned us not to divid ourselves that it would only lead down a path of destruction for this country. He saw this and yet we still continued to divid ourselves! We (my mother and I) used to shop at Wally World a lot in Tx when Sam Walter used to be alive, I remeber the slogan that they "endeavoured to provide products that were made in America", it might have been true at some point, but it has obviously changed since the death of Sam Walter. We have noticed that it has become a major corporation and hails the almight dollar rather then care about its empolyees or customers. I don't know how many times I have walked into a Wal-mart only to find it dirty, something leaking from the ceiling, shelves in disarray, and some of the staff increditably rude! And on top of that they keep raising their prices and the quaility of the merchandise they sell is going right down the drain. But I have to say the only thing good is that they do provide organic products as my family prefers to buy products like that then harsh chemicles, and items you can't recycle, and I like the idea of using cloth bags instead of plastic bags, we always reuse our cloth bags but when we used to get plastic bags they always got thrown away. But yes If you don't like the store or its qoute "values" then don't shop there. But its going to take a lot of people to use their money somewhere else before Wal-mart starts getting concerned on where its profits are going.

If WalMart wants to "bow" to what the customer wants, how about opening up a few more of their cash registers so that the customer can pay for the merchanduse they have spent valuable time selecting instead of putting it back on the shelf after waiting so long to pay. Our local store has 39 registers and it is rare for more than 6 of them to be manned. --Columbia SC

I find it exstreamly humorous that the far right with thier columbine shootings, teen pregnancies and decentigrating marriages/high divorce rate, can sit and judge anyone else when their lives are far from perfect. Wish for once the moral sappossid norm would leave the rest of the happy people alone to live thier lives. I guess missery really demands company, and if they can't be happy, noone else can be either. P.S. if this is really america than we all should have the unaienable right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. unless conservatives don't believe in those concepts either.

What a joke to say that walmart has any values what so ever. It takes advantage of the working poor. It is the biggest supporter of communism by buying the majority of the products that it sells from China. How many times has this company been caught stealing from it's employees for changing time cards to benefit the company. Walmart robs the poor to make their shareholders richer. Hum, guess that is the conservative values at it best. P.S. I am a union and had the unfortunate experience of helping to build a local Walmart. I got to see first hand how they treat their employees and it was not pleasant. Would rather have less than give them a penny of our money.
