    oh I am so sure that God supports a super liberal such as obama. He supports abortion, gay rights etc. which are always part of the lib adgenda.

    no amount of prayer will bring heavenly support to obama, he just represents the wrong things and he has the nerve to try to fit into the mold???? I have no words except: Vote for Mccain. at least he complies on most of the issues.

    I know that God still hears our prayers and answers according to His will. It is time (in this land) for us to call out to God for His Divine intervention and direction. Throughout the history of humans, there has always been a "remnant" of righteousness who is willing to call on the name of the LORD for guidance--this group of clergy represents that remnant.
    I know Pastor Caldwell and his wife and I know that they have a special prayer ministry and God has often shown Himself mightily in His answers to their prayers. Let's just watch and SEE the salvation of the LORD in His response to these righteous people's prayers!

    How can Hussein Obama declare he's reached the number to declare he's the nominee since 63 of those delegates are unearned from Michigan ? Sounds like a false outcome to me. Anybody in Hillary Clinton's shoes would be pretty pissed off. Can she challenge this or something like in the NFL by throwing a flag on the field ?

    Hillary Clinton can claim she's earned all her delegates. The DICTATORS NATIONAL CONGRESS ( DNC ) rigged this whole thing so they can get an African American to run for President just for the sake of making history. His win was an "empty" unearned win. They couldn't pick a worse representative of the African American community to be a candidate for President. This guy has scary company. DICTATORS NATIONAL CONGRESS might as well picked Louis Farrakhan as the African American candidate.

    The kicker is Hussein Obama says he found " Jesus Christ in the Trinity United Church "...he insults all Christians.

    This "dream ticket" bullshit the media is pushing won't happen. Do forced marriages work ? No, of course not. The Nazi Germany propaganda media machine and the DICTATORS NATIONAL CONGRESS should be commended for a job well done.

      First of all you do no know the America process. The DNC should not have given any delegates to Florida of Michigan. This was the first rule. The rule was changed in the middle of the game. The voters was told their votes would not count. The voters in Florida and Michigan should vote the state representatives out of office. Senator Obama did not have any thing to do with the process. The state representatives in the state of Michigan control their own destiny - the governor is a democrat and she signjed the bill into law. She was not force. The voters in Florida could not help their situation - they have both state houses control by the Republican and the governor is a Republican.

      To the ministers thanks for all of the prayers. I really believe that Senator Obama steps have been ordered.

    Hillary Clinton is pushing for the VP position because SHE knows something that nobody else may be wiling to admit....She knows that Obama is a DEAD man....Now, as to whom will be the guilty party is divided between the Chicago "clan" who doesn't take too kindly to Obama disavowing his past allegiances/ and they are pissed!!! The only other option is that the Clinton's have it done,like with Vince Foster...like maybe on a trip to visit the troops and there's a stray bullet?????     I find this type of black liberation theology as frightening as the extreme views of the Hagee and Robertsons of this world. As an evangelical Christian, I see hate speech as hate speech, regardless of the source. Racism directed at whites or blacks is intolerable. How did Mr Obama sat in that church for twenty years and not recognize what is going on is really hard to understand. Father Flager was identified as one of his top three spiritual advisors are these folks that are praying on the same wave length???

    Obama lead McCain 47 to 44 percent, in a reversal from Gallup's findings a month ago, which saw McCain ahead of Obama 47 to 45 percent.

    Obama..... is a member of the same church for 20 years but evidently doesn't attend frequently enough to know what they really preach there. At first he doesn't want to throw anyone under the bus but his grandma, now he has undeniably detached himself from the pastors, and guest pastors at Trinity. Now, he has 100 pastors praying for him? CAn someone help me here - I am done with politicians - whether they are republican or democrat. Are we a bunch of idiots for voting in these self serving boneheads?

    The only thing we should be writing is a letter to our congressman telling him to get off his butt and start pushing to drill in Alaska and Montana. Give up the idea of allowing utility companies to become state owned. All hell is going to brake loose if the dems run congress and the white house. You think gas prices and taxes are bad now.... we haven't seen anything yet... but back to writing your congressman. We got to get on this - let them hear your voice.

    Chloe123- It's fine to disagree with Obama, but why do you have to be dishonest in your questioning? It undermines your argument and illustrates the lack of credibility that conservatives currently have in America.

    Obama has not renounced his church, but left because he believed that media coverage had become a distraction for those who worship there, as well as for his campaign.

    He has never said he would meet with terrorist leaders unconditionally. This is a complete distortion. He has the exact same policy as McCain on Hamas, which is a terrorist group, that he will not meet with him. Iran is not a "terrorist group." It is an enemy state, and the majority of Americans agree with the policy to meet with unfriendly heads of state.

    Clinton and Obama agree on nearly every policy issue, and he has not announced who is being considered for VP.

    Why would we think a Democrat is more credible? Perhaps because of the endless line of scandals that continue to come out of the GOP. Perhaps the President's former spokesman confirming the dishonestly that is the administration's trademark.

    If you want to be critical, fine, but when you use this dishonest questioning, you lump yourself with people like "Concerned Canadian," who do nothing but spread lies.

    Is Obama honorable?
    If he thought the Church he went to for 20 years was wrong why didn''t he leave it sooner?
    Why hasn''t he been to Iraq in 2 years?
    Why does he feel it is right to meet with terrorist leaders unconditionally?
    Why would he even consider Clinton for VP after disagreeing with most of her policies?
    Why are you still thinking a Democrat is more credible than a Republican?

But that doesnt mean I wont stay with a demo slant cuz I really do not feel comfortable about voting for Obama untill he is entirely vetted. Especially given he also has no major list of accomplishment to prove he walks to walk about what he talks like Hillary and McCain has.

      As for Concerned Canadian blogging, s/he may not be able to vote in the election BUT s/he has family fighting/stationed over in IRAQ. So there is a reason for her to be on the site stating her opinions. Just like you have opinions that you state. Only in CCs case, she is very detailed and provides supporting information, that , if anything you Obama supporters hate to see stated as you dont want to hear it. Keep blogging CC!

        I have never seen Concerned Canadian state anything about himself or herself personally. so until I hear it from Concerned Canadian that he/she has immediate family in Iraq I don't believe it. Some one said they thought Concerned Citizen had family in Iraq so perhaps you have them confused.
        BTW- My son-in-law is currently in the Green Zone in Baghdad so I too have concern about what happens in Iraq.

      I met a Canadian family camping in the C, Rockies who told us everything that was wrong with the way Americans have always treated African Americans.

      Being civil rights workers, we agreed 110% and still do.

      But when the very mention of Canadian Indians arose, we were flogged with a diatribe about how "THEY are not the same at all ~ THEY are lazy, immoral, barely human...you cannot compare the two races...!"

But what really is the tell tale sign about the Trinity United Church of Christ is the outrageous way in which they respond to hateful sermons like these pastors conduct; clapping,stomping, cheering Rev. Wright and Rev. Pfleger on. THAT is the most distrurbing part cuz if Obama and family attended this for 20 yrs. there is no way in h*ll I can imagine them sitting quietly with hands folded as a whole community of TUCC are jumping up and down encouraging pastors like this to go on with their inciteful rantings.

But what really is the tell tale sign about the Trinity United Church of Christ is the outrageous way in which they respond to hateful sermons like these pastors conduct; clapping,stomping, cheering Rev.     Mccains whole campaign is based on the war. Nothing else. Thats why he keeps talking about it. Once this Clinton vs Obama thing is over, hopefully Obama will change the subject and blast Mccain on the economy; which he admits he knows nothing about. But then again, you might still be reporting on Obamas church or Bill and Hillary life after the election.

    Mccain is a war hero, he was a POW. Ok. I get it. But just because wesley snipes spend 5 years in prison doesn't mean he should be Warden. Also it a silent discussion among republicans that being a POW has left Mccain a little hot heading and coo-coo.

    Can someone help me solve this riddle? How can a person quit a church for political reasons and be fit to run one of the most powerful countries in the world? Do people hate the Republican party that bad to put a person in office who is a clear cut everyday politician. No dis-respect to Obama but he has shown that he is no better then any other politician out there trying to get elected. And from what I am thinking under these developments you should vote according to experience to tackle the huge task that a president carries. The one thing I hear people say is that GB didn't have experience and he made a mess out of the economy. However, these same people is now voting for Obama in the fall with (no experience). The straw that I have access in the other candidate tell me that he is not ready, that he is riding the wave of being the new kid on the block and people are going alone with it. But what happens when real decisions have to be made, and when the American way of life is at stake. I don't this guy is up for that challenge, being so inexperience. You are right with the media, they are making this situation worse because they want they story, but the people of America need to wake the hell up and pick a leader based on skills and experience to get to the job. Obama to attend the service and still give a speech in Miami, Mr. Davis stands by his story that during one of the services he attended during the month of July, Senator Obama was present and sat through the sermon given by Rev.     Comment: If I wanted to be president I need to follow this game plan.
    1. Be a good speaker, dress good and have only speeches and not a plan, better yet follow what people tell you say.
    2. Be Ivy League so I can say I went to a Ivy League School and my education is superior.
    3. Cut ties from my church, after 20 so i can be president, this will cleary help people see that I mean business and that its not a political move.
    4. Play the race card, I can get the sympanthy vote and they won't know what hittem until I am elected.

    REGARDING OBAMA???S CHURCH MEMBERSHIP TERMINATION

    For a while now I have long to see a legitimate presidential candidate (Independent or Democrat) that was as comfortable with his faith as Jimmy Carter and Ronald Regan. A presidential nominee that espouse to values and principles similar our nation's religious roots. So when Barack Obama came along, I was pleasantly surprised and thrilled to know that faith & religion was not just a superficial part of him as with other candidates like John McCain and Hillary Clinton.

    Unfortunately, as I have personally witnessed myself, an individual church member can outgrow the church family from which he first belong. This is what has happened to Barack Obama, but on an international stage. Barack's church and clearly its leadership have not matched Barack's vision, faith, and hope for America. The church appears to be stuck in the 1960???s while Barack is seeing possibilities for a nation we all thought impossible just a few days ago.

    It's a horrible shame that a church would carry on in such a way, that it forces a whole family to disavow and terminate its membership. Ironically, it is traditionally the other way around where the church must excommunicate a persistently rebellious and non-conforming member who refuses to reflect the church values.

    But the Obama???s are left with no choice but to 'excommunicate their church'. Shame! Shame! Shame on Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ!

        am convinced that many who support Obama do so because they don't know much about him. Little by little, the press is reluctantly releasing more information, and the more we learn, the more we realize that he is NOT the candidate of "change" or "unity."         OBama only left the chruch for political reasons! I am sure he and Michelle was carrying on the same way the rest of the congregation was!

        Him leaving the church is a joke. You can even hear some of Wright's opinions come out of Michelle's mouth! That was only done for political convenience. When you criticize the church, you must look at the Obama's as well!! They were apart of this church for 20 years!

      I SAY: Oh and Obama and his family FINALLY outgrew his church just in time for the Trinity United Church of Christ to become totally exposed for the real black separatist type of church that it apparently is?

      Obama, stop back paddling. Your church is the first of a long list of vetting of your past that is just starting to be put under the microscope as you push to move into the Dem Nom role should you get it. Rezko, Bill Ayers, etc. It should be an interesting fall out in the Fall for Oama.

    There is a constitutional seperation of church and state in this country. So

    A) his religion is none of anyone's business.

    B)He's a Christian. How can the same people who want to claim his 20 years in a Christian Church as a fault then say in the same breath that the man is a Muslim..they ARE actually mutually exclusive, you can't be both.

    C) The latest pastor is a COTHOLIC PRIEST..what the hell does what HE says have to do with Obama??? It's not as if Obama was in the audience, and given the nature of what he said..it isn't as if he's been saying that for 20 years. He could hardly have been pissed at Clinton for the past 20 years, could he.

        That is the most ironic thing about Obama. Attending a church that is founded on the belief of practicing Black Liberation Theology . Has anyone actually gone to this Trinity United Church of Christ site? Heres just a snippet for what this church stands for:

        We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian... Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land," the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community.

        Then we wonder why we here the teachings of pastors such as Rev Wright and Father Pfleger exerting energy in sermons that are racists, anti-white, anti-American? What type of judgement did Obama have to stay with that church with his wife and family for 20 years! I dont know about anyone else, but after watching the whole church membership clapping, shouting, laughing and cheering pastors on who are saying hateful racists things why wouldnt we question what Obama absorbed from these church sermons and what he believes in. He must believe in the Black Liberation Theology religion cuz that is what they teach there. And he is all for unifying the country if he is the next President. It is hard to fanthom..

    I am a black woman and I have friends of all races but I gotta tell you, a lot of my white friends and neighbors even those who would have voted for Obama are becoming infuriated that the media and the DNC is treating the black man like a king and treating the white woman like trash. Out of respect to me, they are trying to be respectful when expressing their views but I understand their frustrations and ask them to PLEASE don't judge ALL black people or black churches based on the events with Obama.

    Alot of white people I know, even Obama supporters are feeling like there is reverse racism and this is turning a lot of people off!

    This is a serious issue and by the end of this campaign, I think the racial divide will only intensify. It would have been nice and better for ALL AMERICANS if the media and the DNC treated both candidates equally. They could have continued to put Obama over the top without treating CLinton like trash and showing reverse racism. They made a mistake by not doing so!

      Thanks for the well thought out post. I totally agree that the MainStreamMedia (MSM) have done a great injustice, a disservice to the American people that is beyond belief. It will be interesting to see what kind of coverage Barack gets in the fall if he makes it to demon. nominee vs. coverage McCain gets.

        The media is going to try to do to McCain what they have done to Clinton. However, my guess is if Clinton and MCCain use the same strategy that will be used against them, they can turn this in their favor.
