Just How Low Will They Go?

Did you know that if McCain is elected you will have to pay income tax on the value of the medical insurance that your employer gives you? Worse still, he is offering a tax break for people who pay their own insurance, BUT only $2,500 for individuals and $5,000 for families.

Let's say you have a family of four. Your insurance policy costs would be at least $1,500-2,000 per month under a self-pay plan, which cost more than employer group plans. So, you pay $18,000 -$30,000 per year for insurance, and you get to deduct only $5,000 of that. If you paid $25,000 for you insurance, you would be out of pocket $20,000 per year. This is FAR WORSE than the current system, where if you are self employed you can deduct 100% of you medical insurance costs.

So, if you're not self employed, you would stick with your Employer's plan. Employer plans for a family of four have a value of $900-$1,500 per month totaling 10,800-$18,000 per year. Surprise! On April 15th, you owe tax on all of that as INCOME to you. Say your bracket is 25%, and the value of your Employer medical plan is $14,000. You will OWE THE IRS an additional $3,500, and that's ON TOP of whatever monthly premium you already pay to your employer for your insurance.

Many analysts say that McCain's new rules would encourage employers to stop offering health benefits. If that happened, then far fewer Americans would be insured than are insured today, because what family of four can afford $18,000-30,000 out of pocket per year for self-pay health insurance?

Furthermore, McCain's plan does not require insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions of people who self-pay their insurance. People under employer group plans have all of their pre-existing conditions covered. This is a hugely unfair aspect of the current system. Insurance companies can afford to cover the pre-existing conditions of the much larger pool of people with group insurance, but they refuse to pay the pre-existing conditions on the smaller pool of self-pay customers. They have been allowed to price gouge the self-pay customers, which is a form of market manipulation that should be illegal.

So let's say one of your kids had diabetes and you have high blood pressure, then your employer stops offering insurance. You now have to buy your own, but you and your child are INELIGIBLE due to pre-existing conditions. Oh, yeah, they will let you buy the insurance, but you can't use it for any pre-existing condition until you have paid on time every month for two years. And you know what happens at one year and 11 months? You get a letter saying your policy has been cancelled. I have many patients this has happened to.

McCain's plan SUCKS.

It does nothing to help middle class working Americans afford or obtain medical insurance. In fact, it makes the current system WORSE.

An untold story lies behind Hillary Clinton's determination to remain in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination ?? the possible revelation of a shocking recording of rival Barack Obama's wife Michelle.

That's the word from longtime political analyst Roger J. Stone Jr., who writes on his The StoneZONE Web site that the recording purportedly documents Michelle Obama making racist comments in a speech.

According to Stone, Hillary aides are in a race with Republicans to get their hands on the offensive recording.

On the heels of Michelle Obama's quote that she. has never been proud of her country, until now, the new controversy could turn the contest upside down, but it is more likely to benefit, John McCain than to boost Hillary Clinton to the nomination, if the alleged recording exists, Stone writes.

He also asserts that Mark Penn, Clinton's former chief campaign strategist, has told sources that the bombshell "could come this week."

The amazing facts about racism in America are it continues to be alive and well. I first noticed it when I was in school, in the military and the workplace. There always this thing about entitlement by black people always racial remarks when things did not go their way. Always trying to play the racist trump card, the old you owe me I???m entitled. Entitled to what, you have more rights than white people now and racism still continues.
Now we have another racist who has set an agenda for Browning America, a man that believes white people are stupid enough to fall for his propaganda. A man that has spent 20 years in a Black African Liberation church that preaches against Jews and whites. A man that is Muslim and claims to be Christian all through he has spent 20 years in a racist church. This is a man backed by Marxist, Hamas and terrorist supporters who has one goal in life to destroy whites and America. His brother is a Muslim in Kenya who believes in genocide and Obama is a citizen of Kenya.
Obama has told many lies and states it was a mistake I misspoke if he is that error prone he has problems. One being he flip flops quite often the man is a fraud and electing him president would be the demise of America. Think of your children???s future your grandchildren do not allow Obama to destroy their future and enslave so he can satisfy his desire to destroy the white race. The wheels are in motion and we must stop them now!

I don't think this is very low. In fact, probably most people in the US watch these shows more than they do the news. Most are too busy to even watch the news, and when they do, they don't really watch it.

As a result, 10% of them think Obama is a Muslim, because of the name and not because they have ever watched anything to inform themselves. They have time to watch what they want and being informed is not really a high priority to most Americans. Sadly to say.

So they watch SNL and think that is a valid representation, or they listen to Rosie talk her venum or they watch Leno and Letterman talk and see a few jokes and sometimes the candidates come on and make a joke. Probably form a lot of opinions on which joke is the best will make the best President. That is the real joke, we get what we don't educate ourselves against.

Otherwise, how in the hell did we ever let the shiftless, idiot into office that has been for two terms, unless the US is comprised of a bunch of dingdongs who don't give a damn about anything except maybe Oprah and Ellen.

Every time I see John McCain, he looks a little frailer, a little more wobblier on his feet. I think he keeps Cindy closer than a Siamese twin to catch him and brace him when he's standing. When I see them coming down the stairs from Cindy's Jet, it's like watching a NASCAR race. I'm expecting a wreck any second.

A.K.A. Low-I.Q. voters. Maybe Americans should have to take an intelligence and a civics test to be allowed to vote. That would count our Appalachia altogether.
