Obama got rid of other candidates? Check out the list of those he "got rid of" and thank the politics of Chicago that he was able to do it and thank all the hard nose work that gave him the oportunity to fairly use the voting requirements and laws to work to his advantage. They may have been good people at heart but they were not as astute as he nor as prepared for public office as he. He was the better candidate to move his constituancy forward.

An undereducated population is very easily manipulated. Thus the popularity of talkshow hosts, lite news on all the networks and cable news, and the ever present right wing Limbaugh types who simply tell their listeners to do what they tell them and the listeners do it. An udereducated population is a direct result of years of underfunding teachers and education en general. An undereducated population is what will keep the USA from advancing democracy within and beyond the country. This article is testimony to the cultural slide that we have embraced as a nation and the worse it gets the more dangerous we will become to ourselves and the rest of the world.

I feel certain all of us have had friends we have later regretted being around. I feel certain all of us have friends who we once didn't care for, but as they took hold of their lives, they were people we regretted they hadn't gotten their lives together sooner. Life is about making choices, and we only learn by doing. So, Barack had a pastor he had to leave behind in his life. I don't find that all that unusual.
The DRC yesterday was subjected to rudeness and loud shouting for doing a wonderful, thoughtful job. Those states were out of bounds, and if Barack Obama had wanted to, he could have left all of them out of the process as they were supposed to have been by the rules THAT HILLARY CLINTON signed on for.
Instead of recognizing what a thankless, difficult, heart wrenching job those folks had been through, these people got threats, jeers, and yelled at.
If these are typical Hillary voters, I don't care if they sit at home and watch their sit coms, or whateve else they threaten. I'm tried of the whines, the blame everyone elses, and the threats. People show their character when the going gets tough. What character have they shown?
Instead of being grateful people tried their best to do the right thing, they jeer and yell because they didn't get everything their way. The people who are supporting Hillary are not leaving an image that is one of high character or even medium.

Low info voters?......What ......is that like a nice way of saying bad politicians are elected by good people that don't vote?.......................sure...there are plenty of ideological voters out there who just plain don't want to disrupt their own opinions with some "facts"............ but please.....dems take the cake.........Hill is cool.....it was a good contest.......there is nothing wrong with competition. I mean come on......look at the GOP "winner take all" system.......maybe if the Republicans had a more Democratic system they wouldn't be in such the crapper right now..............but for real......why in hell would I vote for the tragedians? The way I see it, the GOP lost all concept of justice. Democrats on the other hand are still pro-choice, pro-consumer, pro-education, pro-civil liberties, pro-net-neutrality!, pro-healthcare, pro-gay rights, pro-environment, anti poverty, anti Iraq war, anti trying to teach our kids ID in science class rooms.............the way the world looks to me right now.........and believe me...I've been paying close attention to our leaders these last 15 years................ I can tell you in no uncertain terms.......that ONLY Democrats will get my vote....and the Democrats win in 08.....there is no debate.

I don't have a problem with stupid people... we have always had them, and we always will.
I do have a problem with stupid people who think its ok to be stupid. And a bigger problem when one of them thinks he/she can be President. I don't want to have beers with the airline pilot, I want him/her to be the best damned airline pilot on the planet! I'll find my own drinking buddies, thank you.

Thank you - same for race car drivers, I don't need any that will drive to the edge of a cliff.

So, the Harvard and Yale crowd does not want to take the elitist path. It almost sounds like they are embracing democracy. Now if only the democratic party would learn that primary elections are supposed to allow the people to choose the candidates, instead of the super delegates choosing the candidates.

You can add the Annapolis crowd.

So , they're after people that watch reality base shows, with exception of those watching reality based on the Discovery channel. And, theyre after people that watch daytime talk shows like Oprah, The View, or Dr. Phil.. Basically they're after sheep or sheepeople.

Isn't it arrogantly elitist to say "we want you even though you're stupid and don't give a damn for anything but your mcjob?" In fact, aren't they saying that it's exactly because they view such people as easy fodder that they are courting them? Yo, morons of the world, vote for me so I can do what I want in your name. C'mon, that's really pathetic. Are they going to tape spots where the candidate speaks in worlds of less than three syllables and boils the issues down to "you good, me good, vote for me because me good.?"

Hillary's either in it because she still thinks a win is possible or in it to recoup her loans to her campaign or in it because she is hoping another Trinity-type scandal hits Barack or in it because she is looking for a position of VP or other high profile position. One of these reasons seems likely, whichever it is she's won't quit until she gets it and why should she. Barack is dead versus mcCain without her support. She won't be the nominee but she's still in the driver's seat. The Delegate compromise allows all of the Delegates to attend the Party/Convention. The delegates would vote for any plan as long as they are allowed to Party Down in denver. I don't blame them a bit. They are entitled to to go to Denver as a reward for thier hard work.

and I say again the argument this week is the process of Florida and Michigan, Okay listen please, when the VOTE went down Hillary had 13 supporters on the panel and they didn't even vote for the 100% delegate seat, the vote that was passed was to seat 50% NOW although Obama people conceeded delegates to Hillary that's not good enough, If they would have just said okay HILLARY take everything you want ALL THE DELEGATES from Michigan and Florida everything because you are HillaryClinton, she still would TRAIL Obama, So it makes people feel better to blame the DNC, even though she would still be trailing Obama, she is trailing because of the voting from the American People, across all states, he has regristered so many voters young and old, and the campaign has made this work for them. It was close and a hardcore fight BUT Obama came out on top, LET'S MOVE ON DEMOCRATS, when is enough enough AND HOW is Obama being blamed for winning this is so CRAZY -IT shows us if he can go up against the Clinton machine he can easily take down McCain if we join together

Check this website out and watch this lady's outrage. I am a BLACK woman but I gotta say, I agree with all this woman said and this is just the tip of the iceberg. I am telling you, the democrats are on their way to SELF DESTRUCTION--you're headed for self destruction! Well let me retract, I agree with ALL that she said except about voting for MCCain. She will vote for Clinton because her name will be on the ballot!
