I'm disappointed in Newsweek. The source of this story is TMZ. What you have is an unsubstantiated and likely inaccurate report. Shame on you.

I'm very disappointed in Newsweek. "According to reports" is not what I call good reporting. The only news source reporting this story is TMZ. You don't have a scoop. You have an unsubstantiated and probably inaccurate story. Shame on you.

Wow! Clay Aiken a dad! Good for him. I wish he and Jaymes a happy and stress-free pregnancy. I don't personally care for his music, and he comes off as an odd duck, but the choice to be a father is not taken lightly.
I heard that he used to teach special-needs children. What an admirable profession. At least he'll know quite a bit about children. I wish the media would leave him and Jaymes alone and give them some privacy.

If you know anything about Clay Aiken at all, it's easy to see that he adores children (he was a teacher of special needs kids, for crying out loud), has constantly talked about his desire for a family & will make a wonderful parent. Jaymes Foster is probably his dearest friend of the past couple of years, & she is obviously a woman whose life has been devoted to her career & now is facing a ticking clock. I imagine that both of these talented, warm-hearted & intelligent people did a lot of soul-searching over this decision & came to the conclusion that the time was now & that they not only wanted a child but that they wanted each other's child. That is a beautiful thing. And it is a sad reflection on our society that so much of the internet gossip & "news" community, radio & TV stations & web surfers have tried to turn a sincere declaration of love & hope for the future into something "weird," "freakish," & in some cases downright vile. Although Jaymes is younger than the incorrect age TMZ saddled her with for the sake of sensationalism, she is in the demographic that routinely needs scientific aide in order to conceive. For the very private details of her pregnancy to be bounced all over the media like some kind of sick free-for-all, denying the very real & lovely relationship between she & Clay, & to deny Clay's emotional connection to this child & its mother, is absolutely disgusting. No wonder he has been so adamant about keeping his personal life private. Let's make it clear: none of the parties involved "announced" this to the world. In fact, all indications point to the likelihood that they were hoping to break the story after the birth, to keep paparazzi, gossipwhores & other scumsuckers at bay, in order for Jaymes to have the most normal & stress-free pregnancy possible. Harvey Levin & his cult of smug little bottomfeeders take great delight in bribing medical staff for the most intensely personal details of stars' lives, no matter who it hurts... in this case, possibly, the health of an unborn child. I wish Clay & Jaymes all the most positive karma, prayers, vibes, hope & happiness imaginable. Little Zac Hanson already knows what I'm talking about.

I'm posting this May 31, 2008, 10 days after the American Idol Grand Finale. I watched American Idol both nights of the grand finale waiting for

the announcement of the winners name of the 2008 American Idol Songwriting Competition....and I'm still waiting. The following quote is from

the only link American Idol.com has concerning the songwriting contest. (It's under the Show Guide Link....American Idol Songwriter) "The

Nation Has Decided" "Who Has Won? Tune in to the American Idol Finale on May 20th and 21st 2008 to find out." End quote. Like I said....I

watched. And here's the only thing said about the winner. Ryan Seacrest......"Ladies and gentlemen singing the winning song of this years

competition...Time Of My Life..this..is..your American Idol David Cook, Goodnight." End quote. 9 days later American Idol has yet to name the

winner. It's not in the American Idol news section, not on the American Idol Homepage ......Nothing. Last year the winner's were introduced on

camera by Ryan Seacrest. This year nada. The following is from the Myspace blog page of the winner of the 2008 American Idol Songwriting

Competition...Mr. Regie Hamm....and he does not seem happy. "AMERICAN IDOL, MAGIC RAINBOWS ...AND DOTTIE" "The guy in the feather

suit who wrote the song for Simon had his own photo stand where you could have your picture taken with him. Hmmmm, maybe next time I'll

write a song so campy it simply must be performed in front of fifty million people with the USC marching band. At least then I might have my

name mentioned or my face shown ...but I digress." End quote. American Idol made a lot of money off this contest and the ONLY thing we got in

return was a thanks for the $10.00 email. P.S. I dare you to sign up for the American Idol Forums (Songwriting) and post a question or comment

about this and see how long it takes till the forum moderators delete it. Don't worry you won't have to wait long. americanidolexposed . weebly .
