Mr. MCcain is an opportunist who latches on to anyone who pushes his political process foward only to distance himself and his campaign from these unsavory sorts exposing his senile and weak judgement!!! He flip flops more than pancakes maybe the straighttalk express crashed into the waffle house on purpose .

McCain does not have a chance, the Dems have it in the bag if they include Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton on the ticket with Obama to insure a landslide. The American people do not want to take a chance of another 4 years of the same flawed military policy abroad, not to mention the lies that got us into this mess.

I know the Dems want Obama on the ticket, but he can not do it without Hillary.

If they fail to see this logic, then I predict a rush to the McCain camp from conservative females and blue collar workers, just to punish the DNC for cheating Hillary out of what is rightfully hers, ( rightfully theirs, the last word of the American voters).

Oh..more blood in the water on the Republican side? he-he-he. We Democrats might not know who the heck our nominee is yet, but we are going to enjoy dragging the republican carcasses through all of this mess that they have created for themselves. We are going to have a field day!

Say,this remind me. MSNBCS Keith Olbermann is now the subject of a tax warrant issued by the State of New York for evading state income taxes, and his tax evasion woes have appeared to have captured the attention of the State of California as well where Keith holds some interests. [something else you wont see here on NEWSWEAK,as half their staff have wellworn chairs at COUNTDOWN]. Can you say ''Worst Person In The World''? Then too, NEWSWEAKS Samuelson, for some odd reason that I cannot imagine [insert:Heavy Sarcasm Here]: omits the fact, as helpfully acknowlaged by the Center For Responsive Politics, that UBS' head honcho and CEO,is a major Obama moneyman. Wheres the ''headache''now Samuelson? What ? You guys really thought you were smarter than us?

Awwwww. Keith Olbermann tells the truth. He called Bush/McCain out long before Scott McClelan has. Don't worry about his personal business.

This article completely mischaracterizes this "problem".

McCain has set the bar very high on campaign staff ethics and is getting rid of anyone who has any associations outside the campaign which will prove embarrassing. This is what is happening here Then the article attempts to draw in "death bonds" and USB hearings (one of many, Congress can't get enough face time on TV for hearings on every conceievable subject) and the author attempts to tie all this to McCain. Amatuerish at best and overreaching at worst.

It doesn't matter what this liberal rag publishes. John McCain WILL be our next president and there's nothing osamabama can do about it! Get used to calling McCain "Mr. President".

McHover will bring it on,total, collaspe of the dollar. He will not be at the economic wheel ,his cronies will be..Big tax cut should help pay for the war? Buy stocks on body bags co. Many of the people who are praising Hillary Clinton would punish their kids for displaying the kind of behavior that Hillary has displayed if that kid had lost a game. How has anyone mistreated her? Do you really think anyone can run for President and not be laughed at on Jay Leno, David Letterman or John Stewart? If you think that, ask George Bush. Hillary, because of her penchant for lying, has made herself a bigger target for stand-up comedy. That is all there is to it. Obama has gone out of his way to be respectful of her. He just ran a much better, more focused campaign. Those of you who pretend that you will cast a protest vote against Obama were never going to vote for him. I think your hostility towards Obama has nothing to do with Hillary. It is more about you. Hillary is just your excuse.

McCain and his list of suspect cronies are as transparent as a steel door with no peep holes.

Although I found this article very interesting, I had just finished the article on the campaigns being run with an eye toward the low-info voters. Sadly, this article will be ignored by the many as too hard to understand and will revert back to their popularity contest. I am a Clinton supporter and although I do not know much about Obama specifics on anything, I will be voting Democratic come November.

Sigh, when McCain suited up for this election, the Straight Talk Express took a hard right and crashed into the Waffle House.

  • Posted By: origood @ 06/01/2008 4:21:10 PM

The team that hangs around McCain is nothing of a straight talk express!!! Wow... he is way, way worse than anything imaginable for US.... do YOU want more of this destruction of America?....do YOU really think he is a big tough guy gonna fight your demons?... think again, when did the devil ever do anything nice for you? ... it makes my head and heart ache to see what is circling around the white house in GOP-authenticated garb!!!!!

McCain and the Bush Gang always included lobbyists, corporate oil and they have all gotten quite rich while the promise for low taxes has resulted in every which way to make it harder to make an honest living for simple folks... this character Gramm is shady, not repentant and a typical winner in McCain's league of thieves ready to profit by cashing on his ticket.... death bonds!!! What a devilish schemer...

Gramm almost singlehandedly pushed through the dereg that caused the current credit meltdown. And to those who say vote for McCain as a protest against Hillary's treatment. Three words, Supreme court vacancies

  • Posted By: smharden @ 06/01/2008 3:00:11 PM

Isn't this the same Phil Gramm who rammed through the change to Regulatory law that allowed the current credit implosion to take place. And to those who say, vote for McCain because of the way Hillary was treated, three words. Supreme Court vacancies. We need a better court.

It is amazing how "digging up dirt" and "gotcha" games have grown more and more frequent, particularly regarding republican candidates. Why not check into Obama's closets. I am certain there are a lot of lobbyist skeletons there as well. But no, the liberal media will always give Obama a pass. He is their darling and chosen candidate for the presidency and they are poised to see him through to victory, come hell or high water.

  • Posted By: TruthForward @ 06/01/2008 2:15:05 PM

McCain is just to gullible to lobbyists.

  • Posted By: okie3 @ 06/01/2008 10:52:48 AM

Phil Gramm and Karl Rove are one and the same - be afraid, be very afraid.

everyone forgets McCain's strongest suit as yet to be played :Wendy Gramm (crackers) was on Audit Committee of Enron after being "someone "in Government under Phil Gramm. This was a great country under Carter .The laughing stock of the country :all he wanted to do was find ways to save Energy , and put "double hulls "on all the Tankers .You would think that a "Nuclear Submarine "Commander would be smarter that all the Bushes put together , and certainly not as dumb as a stump ,Mcain 's view of Bush in 1999. The Ivy Leagues and MIT are full of Fart Smellers ,i mean Smart fellers ,but outside of their Universities ,they are "Tree Stumps.". This should be a surprise to anyone. The Republicans have long had the financial industry padding their pockets, along with Oil & Gas, Big Pharma, Agriculture, etc, etc. Nobody owns Obama and that's why every Republican is running scared: change is on the way and the corporations and the wealthy are not going to be happy. Time to undo what your beloved Compassionate Conservative did to this country in the last eight years of abuse.
