    I think we as a people have become a nation of ignoramuses. I cannot help but feel sorry for the people who have posted such hate in this column. Democrats do not be fooled by the Republicans who are posting here and saying hateful things about both Democratic candidates. The Democrats are smart enough to recognize that we need change and will come out unified to defeat McCain. The statements that supporters of each Democratic candidates are making right now about not voting for the opposing candidate are being said in the heat of the moment. But when they calm down and realize that they will be voting to end the economic recession, the Iraq war, global warming, povery and lack of healthcare for all, they will vote for a Democrat.

          Well, like I said, youd think that we'd at least see a more even display of comments from Obama supporters in that the it isnt the whole board of Obama supporters being hateful. So I know the repbulicans can be in here, but to the degree we see on this site? My gut says that Obama supporters are mean spiritied (not all, but a good many of them cannot even respond to blogs in a positive fashion, much easier to bash the H*ll out of the Clintons). Oh well, just venting. I do know some republicans in here and yes, they are much kinder to say the least than many of these Obama supporters. So point well taken.

      Oh, there is no doubt that there are some republicans in here posing as Obamacans. But youd think you would at least see a greater amount of REAL Obamas supporters on the board trying to reason things out with the Hillary supporters, e.g. give us specifics about why Obama is so great, etc. instead of dumping nasty hateful talk about Hillary (and even still about Bill from yrs. ago?). Crazy negative energy being spent to further divide the party..

    Bottom line is, Hillary knows she is the only democratic candidate who can win the White House when put up against McCain. There is an electorial vote of 270 that the dem candidate needs to reach to beat McCain. Given the big states, swing states--important states-- she nailed in the primaries, she knows and her supporters know she is the only one that could beat McCain. Thus she continues her race. She is not the only demo candidate who has gone into June or to the Democratic convention. So what is the problem Obamaranters? I keep hearing she is done, she is toast. So what are you worried about? With you obamasupporters supposing to stand behind a uniter you sure as H*ll are doing your best to continue to divide us by continually basing Hillary and of all craziness still talking about Bill ? If anything you all should be Wooing us Hillary supporters into giving us reasons to migrate to Obama . It would be better energy well spent in the long run. Any McCain supporters out there that can give me some good reasons to vote for him? I know some of the cons about him, but what about the positives? Welcome input from a republican supporter. Thanks.

      Common sense should be giving you plenty of reason, but if you're thinking anybody is going to beg you to save your country from further GOP destruction, think again. If your own sense of patriotism doesn't drive you to protect America from McCain and more Bush policies, nothing anyone here has to say is going to convince you.

Classy Bill. If you think that countries respected us.....they were really laughing at us behind our backs. Oh and by the way, Bill showed up at Summit meetings trashed drunk- I'm sure foreign leaders respected that too.

I'm sure everyone is laughing at W for his debacle in the Israeli Knessit. I'm sure everyone in the Middle East laughed at W when Saudi Arabia's King declined to increase oil production. I am sure the "War on Terror" is a joke as well in respect to other nation's opinions. Losing focus on Afghanistan and Osama Bin Laden for a war in Iraq on false pretenses really makes the US look like we can't finish the job. This proves other countrymen's opinions, we are nothing but apathetic American Imperialists in Iraq. Let's force Democracy on other countries like the Soviet Communists did after WWII. I'm sure other countries laughed at W when he was reading a children's book on 9/11. Hey this *** can read kindergarten material. Answer me this, if it is "Mission Accomplished," then why have 3,000 + additional service people died in Iraq since that infamous declaration? This administration has been the worse Richard Nixon's.     I think that it is awful that Clinton supporters won't support Obama when she looses. If you are unhappy about the conditions of America that Bush has caused, why would you vote for McCain. I am an Obama supporter but if by some strange reason Clinton steals the nomination, I would vote for her because I am tired of the high gas prices, the rising cost of food, and I want the troops to come home.       If you look above the excuses, and the politics, you will see your candidate, the next president...Mr. Barack Obama.

He left Bush with a three trillion dollar surplus that has been turned into a five trillion dollar national debt. Hillary is bitter.     This whole thing seems ridiculous to me....months back both campaigns agreed that these states wouldn't count because they broke rules and had their primaries early....now because Hillary is in dire need of deligates this is an issue. It's like she can't let it go and she can't believe that Obama could ever possible take down one of Washington's "royal families". All these weirdos who claim they want McCain to win if Obama is the canidate are really beyond twisted. Obama and Clinton have very similar policies so why are you voting for McCain over Obama? Aren' t you voting for Hillary because of her policies? I know as much as I think Hillary is a manipulative candidate who will say and do anything to win, I would never hop parties and vote for McCain. I would vote for someone whose policies are closest to my preffered candidate....this whole thing is sad and people need to start thinking about our country and stop this ridiculous Obama is evil because he upset Hillary. I am a woman and am ashamed of what Hillary is doing in her campaign. People shouting at the DNC today and saying they've been robbed are so off base- I find the whole thing really sad.     This nomination was HIllary's to lose, and lose it she did! She didn't inspire. She didn't plan well. And her embarrassing husband who was thought to be an asset (well, you were half right).
