Shameful for Onama. He does the same thing he did in Chicago so that he run unopposed. This time the public will hold his feet to fire. He may become the nomnee but not the president. The fools of the democratic committee played to the Obama's game at the expesne of the voters. This was a gathering to pacify the contentstants and the hell with the voters. For that they will pay the price.

    • Posted By: pbaker511 @ 05/31/2008 11:39:04 PM

Rudy, why don't you read and search for truth before you open your mouth and spew out things that you probably only heard about in passing. Check your facts and stop being your typical Hillary stereotype dummy!

    • Posted By: gmarie @ 05/31/2008 9:54:31 PM

Shameful for Obama??? What did he do? Did he go encourage FL and Michigan to move up their primaries? Did he ask for more delegates than Hillary and suggest that SHE get zero? "Fools of the democratic committee???" What the he*#? You're the fool! Go ahead and vote for McCain or stay home! There are plenty of reasonable white women like myself who are voting for a candidate, NOT a black person or a woman. I intend to see a Democrat in the White House. Either Obama or Clinton is VASTLY superior to Bush or his replacement.

Make sure when you go to church tomorrow you pray hard and I'm sure your preacher will tell you you are doing the right thing. SICK

The Florida/Michigan rules were agreed upon by Senator Clinton beforehand. Comparing them to segregation is silly.

  • Posted By: HolyRoller @ 05/31/2008 11:27:24 PM

Is it OVER. Time will tell. I for one hope not. I really am looking forward to the Dem. crowd ...RECREATE '68. If Sen Clinton bows out, HolyRoller will be shocked.

I do not see her handing the nomination, to a "man" who wants to weaken and decline, this great Nation, we live in.

If so...Then LET THE GAMES BEGIN...

Hussein resigns from Trinity Temple of Allah...UNCLE TOM...

I think a lot of what we read tonight was disappointment and raw emotion. I think as all of this sinks in and people have a chance to really think about it, they will come to their senses. I really do.

Let's hope you are right. I really don't believe that the 2008 verson of John McCain will be able to change the course of this country!

I agree. At least I really hope this is the case. The stakes are way too high.

If Hillary fights all the way to the convention we have President McCain, 3 new conservative supreme court justices, and many more years of war. Still think this is a good idea? After Tuesday, Obama will be within 20 supers to the magic number. Let's hope they grow spines and end this thing.

    • Posted By: bluebird @ 05/31/2008 11:10:41 PM

That's just a liberal scare tactic. Similar to the republics willt privatize social security. No need to worry about the SC.

  • Posted By: TopAnalyst @ 05/31/2008 8:02:49 PM

Hillary should and will fight all the way to the convention. Obama only has about 1700 pledged delegates, that's about 400 short of the number to get nominated. By August, the supers will come to their senses and back Hillary.

How can Obama win in November? Whites are against him, Asians are against him, Latinos are against him. Jews are against him. There are not enough blacks in this country to fight against all other groups.

    • Posted By: Nor-Cal for Obama @ 05/31/2008 11:10:26 PM

Your data is so wrong I actually threw up in my mouth a little. Good stuff.

    • Posted By: manubiyao @ 05/31/2008 10:07:24 PM

I am an Asian and I do support senator Obama. Look, when it comes to their core values, there is almost NO difference between Clinton and Obama. It just happens that I believe senator Obama will actually effectively get something done during his tenure.

    • Posted By: loriw @ 05/31/2008 9:21:33 PM

Top Analyst sometimes your statistics lie.... Much like Bill and Hillary lie!

    • Posted By: komangreen @ 05/31/2008 9:19:01 PM

      Hubris.

This is so unfair, what the party is doing! I mean, it's not like Obama's name wasn't on the ballot in Michigan (doh!), or that the party decided that neither primary would count (doh, doh!!), or that the 'rittle cwybaby Ickes didn't ACTUALLY HELP WRITE THE RULES!!! Oh, and i'm assuming the overweight white women lesbian looking crowd is busy baking cookies for the white men loyal to the Bush family, because that's the only place you will find in that "big tent", in the kitchen, serving the men. Have fun.

The Clintons are inconsequential, and today has proven that.

Bill was a great president, not Hillary. Go away now.

From the look of the sign in the picture above, the protesters were being paid by the word - or unable to spell, not sure which.

If you look above the excuses, and the politics, you will see your candidate, the next president...Mr. Barack Obama.

Clintons, again, go away. Lady in the picture and others like you - I think McCain likes chocolate chip. Have fun.

    • Posted By: evanatha @ 05/31/2008 9:06:47 PM

Hillary has only 1500 pledged makes her 700 short. I am an older white woman for Obama, yes against what the polls say. Their popular votes are almost tied, so how can all those people be against Obama.
By fighting all the way to the convention, she is destroying the party and we have no hope come Nov, is that what we all want? Another 4 years of the Bush policies will destroy this country, think about that.

    • Posted By: evanatha @ 05/31/2008 9:02:24 PM

whites are not against Obama, I am an older white woman who the polls state should be on Hillary's side, however I am for change and Obama is that candidate. Hillary has about 1500 pledged delegate not counting super, makes her about 700 short.

  • Posted By: benvictor @ 05/31/2008 9:28:17 PM

Obama is such a Pathetic figure. Free Ride resigns from his church to save his butt in the face of ever growing demands that he be vetted. The security of our country must not be overlooked. As for the party leaders and the super delegates who have annointed Barry as their own, it will do nothing to save victory in November. As a Hillary Democrat, I will support Hillary as the First Woman President of the United States of America, whether in this party or an independent.

    • Posted By: Nor-Cal for Obama @ 05/31/2008 11:04:20 PM

When your anger wears off, just stop and think about the logic of your decisions. Think with an open mind and heart, everyone knows that it's harsh to have your candidate lose, but you've got to buckle up and support your parties nominee, for your OWN interests!

Dems MUST vote for the DEMS nominnee!!!

    • Posted By: gmarie @ 05/31/2008 10:01:53 PM

Then you're hoping to put another rich, white, conservative, hawk in the Oval Office AGAIN? I'm hoping that you spoilers are in the minority. We can't afford another four years of Republican rule!

  • Posted By: rainbow68 @ 05/31/2008 10:51:08 PM

Obama doesn't need to run as an independent as he is about to clinch the Democratic nomination. Now, HIllary on the other hand...

    • Posted By: manubiyao @ 05/31/2008 11:03:14 PM

If senator Obama runs as an independent, he will NOT have to deal with this typpe of idiotic bickering everyday. He and his running mate (NOT Clinton) can focus on issues by beating a pro-life, pro-rich and pro-war type of candidate like John McCain.

  • Posted By: ajuntari @ 05/31/2008 9:34:45 PM

Obama graciously accepted the consensus reached an agreement under the DNC committee comprised both of Obama and Clinton supporters. Every side had their say, and have contributed to this ultimate decision in which a sensible compromise attested to a spirit of Democracy has marked a historic moment for the candidate and the party. What the meeting today has shown is in fact how pragmatic and strong a leader and candidate Obama is. All the questions about whether he could be a worthwhile candidate in November have been assuaged.

    • Posted By: loriw @ 05/31/2008 9:42:06 PM

I watched hours of the committee meeting today. I was unimpressed with Ickes (your conflict of interest is showing) Joyner (droning on and on made me comatose) Huffman (we are all victims esp. poor Hillary),
Brewer ("they've been punished enough"-even though they brought it on themselves)and Balanchar (i like to talk about myself and my grandmother but not about the FACTS)
What an impressive speaker Wexler was!!! And so was Bonior until CNN decided it was more important to run commercials than allow us to hear all he had to say.

      • Posted By: Nor-Cal for Obama @ 05/31/2008 11:00:58 PM

Should of watched MSNBC! They had it all completely commercial free.

i respectfully beg to differ that women were the last to benefit from voting rights. I'm from the south. Black people were asked when they went to vote how many bubbles were in a bar of soap. They would try to guess, but were told they were wrong and could not vote. This did not happen to women. I'm proud to say the south has come a long way, but historicallly this is what happened.

I am a HILLARY supporter not OBAMA, I will vote for HIllary and NOT Obama, not matter what any has to say. He is only dropping ot of this church at the last minute to save his own skin.! He sat in that Racist-Anti-American-Radical church for over 20 years, he has to share many of thier beliefs or he would have left that church in the begginning. That church has said white people invented aids and spread it to the black people, they called us KKK of America, said we were raping the black people of America and we have to pay, they stated that 9-11 was our own fault- our chickens had come home to roost. That church also gave a life time award to the world famous RACIST Louis Farrakkan. And you have the nerve to support Obama. Shame on you.!

    • Posted By: loriw @ 05/31/2008 9:52:59 PM

Who do you think was learning to fly airplanes on simulators and recruiting flight crews while you all were watching Bill say "I did not have sex with that woman" and where was your wonderful Hillary while her husband was putting cigars up Ms. Lewinsky? My worst nightmare....Hillary for president with Bill as her VP. There back in the White House making a mockery of this nation to all other nations. And we wonder why the other nations of the world don't respect us????

      • Posted By: ClaraM @ 05/31/2008 9:55:25 PM

What has any thing you just said got to do with what I said? You make no sense.

        • Posted By: loriw @ 05/31/2008 10:42:56 PM

You want Hillary back in the White House so those two can bring their marital drama into the spot light again? I know of no other soap opera that broadcast on every network and news channel. Bill and Hillary are both a joke. Bill was the biggest embarrassment of a President in my lifetime and Hillary thinks she's entitled and wants to be the first female President. I'd like to see a woman president -but not her.

    • Posted By: fastwriter @ 05/31/2008 9:46:16 PM

Did you go to that church????? Have you listened to your white preachers????

      • Posted By: ClaraM @ 05/31/2008 9:50:00 PM

If any church that I attend speaks the trash that they did I would have gotten up and left and never went back. They must use a different bible than my church. Any person of God would not spew that trash, or they are not of GOD.

        • Posted By: fastwriter @ 05/31/2008 10:36:23 PM

And God is not representative of someone like yourself as well.

        • Posted By: ClaraM @ 05/31/2008 9:53:04 PM

By the way, you stated I had white preachers. Since you must make it about race and color, I must tell you that I am Indian. Now what?

          • Posted By: mgratson @ 05/31/2008 10:06:21 PM

You know it is great that people all the way over in India are taking interest in this election. This truly is a very historic time for this country and I will be honored to cast my vote in the Fall.

          • Posted By: rchughes @ 05/31/2008 10:05:15 PM

Now what? I think that people who are going around with chips on their shoulders shouldn't be so judgmental.

        • Posted By: rchughes @ 05/31/2008 9:56:24 PM

Of course, if a person "of God" as you say, is truly "of God," then they wouldn't place themselves up on the seat of judgement, either. Only God is the perfect judge. Only God knows Obama's or anyone else's hearts, for that matter. Only God.

  • Posted By: MLBEncinitas @ 05/31/2008 10:00:25 PM

fastwriter said it all!!!!!! Hillary Clinton supporters- take your blinders off. We are at a crossroads in this country. You have a choice to vote for change and hope or devastation and bankrupcy. C'mon!!!!!!!! Take your ego out of this and vote for Barack Obama. This is serious!!!!!

    • Posted By: Interested! @ 05/31/2008 10:19:12 PM

EGO? We know hot air when we hear it. It is YOU that needs to understand the difference between the supposed 'change' that Obama claims he can deliver because he is NEW! I lsughed out loud when I heard he give his 'speech' while standing between Ted Kennedy and Caroline Kennedy, the most established political family in this nation, and declare he is NOT of the 'establishment'. Choke, choke, choke...... who, other than a fool, does he think he is kidding? obama has flip flopped all over the beach, and he is beginning to smell like he has been on the beach three days TOO LONG>

HILLARY OR Stay HOME.......Obama cannot get elected without Hillary supporters FULL support. He will be lucky to get relected to his senatorial seat after the repubs get done with this fake. So here comes the laughs......

      • Posted By: gmarie @ 05/31/2008 10:38:19 PM

You people amaze me! It's like watching a bunch of rabbits tear one another to shreds while the fox looks on salivating... I hope and pray that you are all of a sufficient minority not to be spoilers in this election. God help us if we have old "push the button and nuke 'em" McCain at the helm. Can you people even think past November to what kind of country you want this to be, what kind of world? Either Democrat would bring in advisors, cabinet members, judges to help us turn this country around. Do you want the "Brownie's" of the world running the show?

      • Posted By: fastwriter @ 05/31/2008 10:35:17 PM

The laughs are that there are more intelligent people. If you choose to stay down as you have, that's your business. This country is moving forward. You will just be left behind as you are now. No experience is better than the experience we've had. Find a real intelligent argument.

  • Posted By: manubiyao @ 05/31/2008 10:35:47 PM

Senator Obama, why don't you run for president as an independent and choose either Mayor Bloomberg or as your running mate? You can then hire competent democrats and GOP's to serve in your cabinet once you are hired as the CEO of this country.

    GO Obama/Bloomberg 08 and 12

  • Posted By: Brenin2 @ 05/31/2008 10:07:46 PM

Government is much more than the individual at the top. There are huge differences between the Democrats and Republicans. Why are these Hilary supporters saying they will now vote for McCain? Are they really closet Republicans (pro life, low taxes for the ich, pro Iraq war etc. ), or just very (very) bad losers? In any event, their argument seems a little juvenile.

    • Posted By: manubiyao @ 05/31/2008 10:19:00 PM

NOT just juvenile, it's downright short sighted and stupid. I really can't believe that some "democrats" rather elect a pro-life, pro-war, pro-rich, lack of social responsibilty type of candidate like John McCain to run the country, instead of senator Obama who actually shares the same core values with senator Clinton. This kind of bickering will only run this country down the drain. Time to move to Canada or New Zealand!

True, when I was in central america running health clinics, the people there would give you the shirts off their backs even when they had nothing. That's a lesson I took back home and others could use to learn it too. We are a community, we got to look out for each other.
