I love how Obama people continue to say that if Hillary supporters vote their CONSCIENCE, it's cutting off their nose to spite their face. Is that really how you want your candidate to win? I'm not falling for it. The longer he remains in the spotlight, the less people like him. I will write in Hillary Clinton in November if I have to. He's so very unprepared...put him in a room where he's not liked and see how he does (please watch him on St Pat's Day in Scranton on YouTube). How can he do this job? How can anyone believe in his ability? He's a decent guy, not necessarily a world leader. Take another look!!

    Comment: Hubris.

This is so unfair, what the party is doing! I mean, it's not like Obama's name wasn't on the ballot in Michigan (doh!), or that the party decided that neither primary would count (doh, doh!!), or that the 'rittle cwybaby Ickes didn't ACTUALLY HELP WRITE THE RULES!!! Oh, and i'm assuming the overweight white women lesbian looking crowd is busy baking cookies for the white men loyal to the Bush family, because that's the only place you will find in that "big tent", in the kitchen, serving the men. Have fun.

The Clintons are inconsequential, and today has proven that.

Bill was a great president, not Hillary. Go away now.

From the look of the sign in the picture above, the protesters were being paid by the word - or unable to spell, not sure which.

If you look above the excuses, and the politics, you will see your candidate, the next president...Mr. Barack Obama.

Clintons, again, go away. Lady in the picture and others like you - I think McCain likes chocolate chip. Have fun.

Anyone who knows James Quinn (referenced in story) knows that he is not influenced by biased emails about Obama. Your Bostonian had a strange take on a gentleman who has lived this past year with Hillary's campaign. Just because the media loves Obama doesn't mean that all of America does. I will never vote for Obama, and I urge you to reference "Operation Turndown." We don't have to vote for him!

It's not just the media that loves Obama, although I'm sure not all of them do. He has more votes, more supers, more pledged delegates. If he wins by even one vote, he still wins. There is nothing anyone can do to change that. To threaten to not vote in November or to vote for McCain is very shortsighted indeed. Cutting off your nose to spite your face.

I urge all Florida and Michigan voters to cross over and vote Republican now, since they have told you that you only half-ass matter, speak loud and clear when NOV. 2008 comes a around, vote for MCCAIN. To do any thing else would be rewarding the DNC for treating you like half-American's. Do not let them get away with it. Be heard loud and clear, VOTE MCCAIN

When you voice such racism at Obama, remember you are disrespecting his mother who is white.

It's time for Hillary's follwers to stop being ridiculous and start using your brain and if you don't want to vote for change and stay the way you are that's your business, but don't drag the man down because he's black. He ran a smarter campaign than Hillary who thought it was hers, she's spoiled and is causing a race riot and the stupid press think it's funny and can't even see it.

She and her cronies insulted the voting process. Intelligent people have come to realize when you make a mistake you must pay and to meet half way is the democratic way. Please vote for McCain and all you woman can live with the abortion law because you can't see past your bigotry. Take yourselves down and not the whole country. The states were given what they asked for.

All this is about Hillary and you are looking crazy for her because she goes home to her million dollar home and could care less about you. You are brain washed.

If we can tone down the paranoia a little, please. "We'll only half vote"? Are you kidding me? How lame is that remark? Guys, we're all grownups here (I presume). The stakes are high this election. Too high for us to throw tantrums when we don't get our way.

I hope every one from Florida and Michigan are listening to what every one is saying about you and your state, they are calling you a bunch of cry babies and losers, and that you only half matter. I guess that makes us half an American then. If the DNC thinks I will not speak loud and clear in NOV.2008 and cross over and vote REPUBLICAN think again. I urge every one from FLORIDA and MICHIGAN to tell the DNC to get lost vote REBUBLICAN. GO MCCAIN

My family and I have recently emigrated here from the UK. I have to say that the conduct of Hilary Clinton's supporters today was reminiscent of what you would see at a soccer game. They clearly had no interest in party unity. It was the very ugly side of politics on full display.

    • Posted By: loriw @ 05/31/2008 9:17:08 PM

exactly- if your team isn't winning then yell at the referee. The Clinton supporters were shameful all the way around.

  • Posted By: rainbow68 @ 05/31/2008 9:16:25 PM

These posts would be funny if they weren't so sad. Obama doesn't have to win in a landslide, just by one vote. And he has. Your vote did count. But more people voted for Obama.

  • Posted By: griffin1 @ 05/31/2008 9:15:15 PM

The DNC was faced with an complicated decision to make, after careful review of all facts they were able to come to the best decision possible for both sides, wether you support Hillary or Barack the DNC would have did an inservice to our Country to seat all delagates when the party was clearly penalized months before the election and all parties agreed. Now for Obama when he agreed to abide by the DNC rules to not campaign in those states he removed his name from the ballet and again that was based on him following the rules of the DNC, now for Hillary to come and fight for her delegates when she at one point agreed not too, but since she need all delegates to overcome Obama it is clear that handling all delegates would be unfair. The best decision was made today for both parties, if you are a Hillary Clinton supporter this was fair and it will do this country an injustice to take this to the convention when we are trying to unite, Just so you know during the vote for seating all the delegates there was 13 Clinton supporters on the panel and they did not vote for this so it was rejected, How can you blame Obama for this when Clinton supporters rejected this TODAY, I ask for us to join together and unite with Obama to win this election in November.....

Gotta love the picture.....at least she's not voting for Hillary. Guess she finally saw the light!

  • Posted By: valadezaj @ 05/31/2008 9:08:55 PM

I watched some of the proceedings of the committee and I was appalled. I mainly heard arguments about which states should be allowed to go first - absolutely no thought about the people! Disgusting! National primary folks! That's what we need. All democrats (only registered democrats that is) vote on the same day. Every state then gets an equal voice. That Florida and Michigan are being punished at all is disgusting. If you thought Hillary was fighting hard before you ain't seen nothing yet. We're going to raise hell - literally!

  • Posted By: rainbow68 @ 05/31/2008 9:05:01 PM

Hear, hear! The success of Obama's campaign has been that he has attracted from every race and age. He couldn't have come this far on just the African American vote, although is was very important.

  • Posted By: zzxno @ 05/31/2008 9:04:01 PM

It's sad that the Clintons and their supporters have decided that getting their way is more important than playing by the rules. They talk about not dienfranchising voters, and in the same breath discount the millions of voters in causus states who didn't vote in primaries and therefore aren't considered important in their critical 'popular vote' metric. This selective reasoning hurts the party and hurts the country but all these people see is that they won't get their way and like spoiled children threaten to take their ball and go home.

I'm glad to see that while the Clinton trolls are active reports from the meeting are that the number of protesters was actually quite low indicating that, aside from a vocal minority, Democrats across the nation are ready to come together and support Barak Obama to beat John McCain in November and finally break the disasterous Republican hold on the White House.
