Traitor or Truthteller?

whats funny are people that call themselves conservatives when in all actuality they are anything but. Conservatives aren't necessarily greedy they just feel that all people have the same opportunities and it is up to them to make use of them not take from someone else and give to people that do not have the same drive. the government isn't Robin Hood after all though it would like to see its self as. The government should not be worried about charity and how to help people who can't or won't help themselves. It needs to deal with more pressing issues at this point like drilling oil here in the united sates to reduce our dependency of foreign oil. They need to make it harder for these nature groups to sue the oil companies. We need to increase production not lessen it. It has already been proven that cheiney was way off base with global warming and we need more media attention to that fact, like it was all on top of it when they gave him that peace award for screwing things up. If they can drop the price of fuel this would free more money for charities which have taken a hard hit since fuel has been going up. Charities are one of the most important commodities we could have in this country and we are depleting them by taking money out of peoples pockets. We need to be reducing taxes not adding more. We need major reductions in our government also it is getting to big for its britches. Maybe we need to put together a nonprofit group to go in and slow the government down and make sure they are doing right by the people. Kinda of like checking the books make sure they balance. These people work for us not the other way around they need to be kept in check. there are things that should not be left to them to vote on it should be brought up before the people for a vote . A government left unchecked is a government that will surely run out of control and you can't leave the checking up to them all they will do is vote themselves another raise, thats a major vote that should be left to the people if you want an example. I don't get to vote on my own raise and neither should they. People of America we need less government in our lives not more. before the depression of the 30's our government was fundamentally sound. Since then we have been on a steady downhill trend and it is all based on the fact that the government has been getting bigger and greedier with our money.
