Comment: Just what we need...Canadians writing in to American publications, sowing hatred and spouting fallacious rhetoric.

"Concerned Canadian", if you have a place in your heart for hatred, keep it in Canada.

Comment: TO the present OBAMA holds DUAL CITIZENSHIP for US and for KENYA. SINCE when does this mean he has the best interest of our country in mind? here is what is on his mind and we need to make sure we don't accomodate it. i would say his DUAL CITIZENSHIP is a conflict of interest which highly reveals the nature of his politics.

    Obama, Odinga & Kenyan Jihad
by Kurt Schulzke on February 25, 2008

Last night, I reported on Barack Obama???s active support of Kenyan candidate and Obama cousin Raila Odinga. What escaped mention was Odinga???s explicit plan to turn Kenya into an Al Qaeda terrorist incubator. A close analysis of Odinga???s MoU with Sheikh Abdullahi Abdi shows that ??? if Odinga had been elected as Kenyan president in the fall of 2007 ??? he would have made it impossible under Kenyan law for ???any Muslim arrested for or suspected of Terrorism??? to be tried anywhere but Kenya under Kenyan law.

Kenyan law, in turn, would henceforth be exclusively Shariah law in ???Muslim declared regions??? ??? the ???coast??? and ???North Eastern regions??? of the country ??? see the map, below ??? now visited by hundreds of thousands of western tourists each year. [See Odinga, Abdi & Obama: Which Islamic MoU is real? for an updated, detailed discussion of two competing versions of the agreement.] Obama and Odinga supporters want to label as a ???lie??? the MoU version discussed here. However, the evidence suggests the opposite is true.

It is no coincidence that this area of Kenya borders Somalia ??? for many years an Al Qaeda stronghold ??? site of the Clinton administration???s Bay of Pigs-redux, in Mogadishu, the event that serves as the basis for the movie Black Hawk Down. Also noteworthy is Kenya???s proximity to Tanzania, focus of much of George Bush???s efforts to save Africa and, arguably, where Bush is today most loved in the world.

In these ???Muslim declared??? regions, the Odinga-Abdi agreement would outlaw ??? among other things ??? Farmer???s Choice, pork, other ???haram products??? and ???women???s public dressing styles considered immoral or offensive to the Muslim faith??? for all women, not just Muslims. At the same time, Odinga would establish a Sharia law court in every Kenyan ???divisional headquarters.??? One foreseeable result of these machinations is that Al Qaeda would be safe-havened in Kenya, free to foment mahem and terror around the world. Little wonder that Louis Farrakhan has endorsed Obama for president.

The question every Democrat should be asking is how any American president ??? as Barack Obama seeks to become ??? could support a scheme so obviously designed to further the global jihad? Restated: With Americans like Obama, who needs Al Qaeda?

Conservative Republicans face a related question: In light of this information, could you in good conscience not vote for John McCain in November if the Dems stupidly choose Obama as their ???daddy????

Comment: Number of unrepentant terrorist friends with anti-American views for Obama = 57

Number of unrepentant terrorist friends with anti-American views for McCain = 0

The choice is obvious...vote for the patriot and war hero...JOHN MCCAIN!!

    Comment: WELL SAID BILL COSBY!!

'They're standing on the corner and they can't speak English.
I can't even talk the way these people talk:
    Why you ain't,
    Where you is,
    What he drive,
    Where he stay,
    Where he work,
    Who you be...

And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk.

And then I heard the father talk.

Everybody knows it's important to speak English except these knuckleheads.
You can't be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth.

In fact you will never get any kind of job making a decent living.

People marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an Education, and now
We've got these knuckleheads walking around.

The lower economic people are not holding up their end in this deal.

These people are not parenting. They are buying things for kids.

    $500 sneakers for what?

And they won't spend $200 for Hooked on Phonics.

I am talking about these people who cry when their son is standing there in an orange suit.

Where were you when he was 2?

Where were you when he was 12?

Where were you when he was 18 and how come you didn't know that he had a pistol?

And where is the father? Or who is his father?

People putting their clothes on backward:
Isn't that a sign of something gone wrong?

People with their hats on backward, pants down around the crack, isn't that a sign of something?

Isn't it a sign of something when she has her dress all the way up and got all type of needles [piercing] going through her body?

What part of Africa did this come from??

We are not Africans. Those people are not Africans; they don't know a thing about Africa ...

I say this all of the time. It would be like white people saying they are European-American. That is totally stupid.

I was born here, and so were my parents and grand parents and, very likely my great grandparents. I don't have any connection to Africa, no more than white Americans have to Germany , Scotland , England , Ireland , or the Netherlands . The same applies to 99 percent of all the black Americans as regards to Africa . So stop, already! ! !

With names like Shaniqua, Taliqua and Mohammed and all of that crap .....And all of them are in jail.

Brown or black versus the Board of Education is no longer the white person's problem.

We have got to take the neighborhood back.

People used to be ashamed. Today a woman has eight children with eight different 'husbands' -- or men or whatever you call them now.

We have millionaire football players who cannot read.

We have million-dollar basketball players who can't write two paragraphs. We, as black folks have to do a better job.

Someone working at Wal-Mart with seven kids, you are hurting us.

We have to start holding each other to a higher standard.

" We cannot blame the white people any longer."
Dr. William Henry 'Bill' Cosby, Jr., Ed.D.

Comment: Obama is clearly picking the best and the brightest, perhaps we are getting beyond the cronyism that has been the method of selecting advisors by the Bush Administration.
What a concept the Country run by intelligent people; what next? Common sense? Now that will be the change American has been looking for.

Comment: It is very interesting that The Little Rascals are going to be the foreign policy advisers for Barack Obama. As always, Obama has no idea, or experience in what it takes to have an definitive plan for foreign policies around the world. Obama thinks that his used car salesmanship tactics will win them over.

Comment: Barring the effectiveness of some "swift boats" ads (that are sure to come), Obama is the odds-on favorite to become the next president of the US. Therefore, the reaction to his speech in Germany shows that the world is eager for a change in America's foreign policy from the past 8 years. From all indications, the citizens of this country also want a change toward more friendly reations and less antagonistic relations with the world. There are plenty of well qualified people to put in key offices to accomplish this if the president sets the tone for them to succeed.

Comment: This section of DiscoverTheNetworks examines Barack Obama's connections to a number of key individuals and organizations. In some cases, these affiliates are notable for the leftist views and objectives they share with Obama. In other cases, they are notable for their collaboration with Obama in controversial or unethical activities. In all cases, they offer a window into Barack Obama's values and priorities. Taken as a whole, they verify Thomas Sowell's observation that Obama has "spent decades aiding and abetting people who hate America."

Comment: IMPORTANT BULLETIN FOR ALL BLOGGERS ON THIS SITE:

    TO NEWSWEEK STAFF:

This is to report that there is a FRAUD going on, on this site, in which bloggers are using the names of various bloggers (Obama supporters are most likely the culprits) who are fraudulently writing blogs that are deplorable and tagging them under other bloggers names (non-Obama supporters names). I officially reported such a fraudulent abusive use of fake postings that I just viewed on this site today that affected me personally. This is what it said in which the blogger fraudulently used my name as the poster:

IT SAID THIS. I NEVER WROTE THIS. SO ALL OTHER POSTERS, ESPECIALLY FORMER HILLARY SUPPORTERS, BEWARE:

At this point I am ready to bring this abusive process that you are using on your site to FOX NEWS as I have done this before and they are very responsive. I have copied this report to send onto the media if I dont see a stop to the smearing of my name or others on this site moving forward!

Comment: I'm going to assume that the absence of some people from this story reflects Obama's present status as a candidate (and now nominee), rather than a reflection of the final team he might assemble should he be elected. He has had discussions with such folks as Joe Biden, Jim Woolsey and Colin Powell, all of whom could prove invaluable in constructing the bipartisan, pragmatic, and overarching foreign policy he seems to want. The Clinton approach to foreign policy -- given the tenure of the times -- was inherently small bore; that of Bush has been ideologically, if not politically, driven. I think what most people here and overseas would welcome is an understandable and consistent world view from the planet's only superpower, rather than an America reeling from crisis to crisis.

Comment: Obamas ''picking the right people and strategies''is in need of desperate tweaking. We will recall that McPeak and Power are no longer on board the Obama foreign policy train,Goolsbee gets involved in amateurish NAFTA theatrics with Canada, and the ''best and brightest''Lake and Rice sat on their damned hands while nearly a million Rwandans were butchered under Clinton. Confusion reigns. Obama is all over the place on his Iran policy and is promptly busted by ABC NEWS yesterday for his flipflopping. He then goes on to state before AIPAC with uncertain certainty that al Qaeda is growing stronger through new recruitments at a time when al Qaeda itself disputes this view in the ongoing fraternal fighting between more moderate blocs within the organization and Zawahiri, which have been observed by NEWSWEAKS Dickey and Zakaria, clearly displaying splintering inside of this group which has ramped up what ire it has left against,of all nations, tiny Denmark. Quite stupidly, those of the old Clinton economic hands Obama brings on board are still tied to the KYOTO failure which even Europe has backpedled away from, knowing that its embrasure will bring national economies to a grinding halt. With Obama, his worshipers will live to see the day when they too can mutter,''all hat and no cattle.''

Comment: This nation sorely needs Obama as President. From what he has shown in the campaign, he is cool under fire, knows how to stay positive, and picks the right people and strategies. Those who carp about mino distractions (like what a former pastor says without Obama's consent) are simply looking for an excuse to cover over their own deep seated prejudices, some of which are racial and others not. It is time we as a nation grew up and accepted a person's qualities without reference to race or religion. Obama has the right stuff. Argue with his policies, if one must, but keep the coming debate civil. As for McCain, his carping about how to disagree with him is to 'surrender' is bombastic at best. Obama does not need to debate McCain if all McCain can offer is platitudes based on flawed stubborn reasoning. Enough already.

  • Posted By: Anthropos @ 06/05/2008 12:34:07 AM

Comment: It is time voters realize that electing Obama is not just about the man but about electing a Democratic
Administration conprised of thousands of the best and brightest. We will need all of them to sort out the mess Bust and the Republicans have made. Stop grousing about Obama's bio and focus on tha fact that he won the nomination against all odds by putting together a masterful campaign strategy and has shown that his JUDGEMENT stands up very well to anyone, especially to McCain. If the Democratic party is in for a fight this fall, all Democrats should be thankful Obama is carrying the standard.

He may not have the experiance but he has the smarts to put a group together that may be equipped to handle the task.
Having run a few large companies over the past 3 decades advisors become nessesary so all your basis are covered i.e. it was difficult to know all that needed to be, so a good attorney, accountant, insurance specialist, marketing head, personal director etc. are needed to work as a team to bring it all together. So maybe the mountain is where you need to bury your head for a last row seat. You just may miss a turn a round for the better.

Comment: johnjohn06219 How do you equate Obama's "inexperience" with the downfall of the American way of life? Remember that Abraham Lincoln, whom we probably all would agree was a pretty darned good President, only served on term in the House of Representatives and did not have in impressive 2 years while in the House.

  • Posted By: johnjohn06219 @ 06/04/2008 5:59:04 PM

Comment: Do any of you truly feel that Obama is the answer to all of our problems. I agree the Republican party, Bush mainly, have gotten our fine country into a mess that will take years to correct, but Obamas experience, or lack of is not an answer. Tell me one piece of legislation he has proposed since being in the Senate, other than a bill to make him look like he is doing something constructive. Oh well he has won the Democratic nomination, and he will surely beat John McCain in the general election. I think I will just hide my money, collect cans of food, and get some place high on a mountain so I have a front row seat for the downfall of the American way of life.

He reminds me of Ronald Reagan, who dared to talk with the Russians and Mr. Nixon who open a diagloge with the Chinese, so called staunch communists. We always in the final analysis have always made friends of our most bitter enemies. Go Mr. Obama go. Take America to another level. Restore our soul. Lead us to greener pastures. Take us to the higer moral ground. In Obama we trust. God bless Mr. Obama the next President of these United States of America.

Comment: You people who think John McCain & Barack Obama are going to change things in Washington are living in a fantasy world. Stop & think for just a minute, over the last 20 years, we hear from all the candidates that they are going to change Washington, be more Bi-Partisan and work together. If you actually believe all that stuff, you are more naive than you know. McCain is a Washington insider, been so for God knows how long and wants to have open borders and Obama is for far left he is about to fall off the edge. Loved his comment last night about how is going to "make" the oil companies pay for new technology...just what we need, a gov't that tells business how they can and can't spend their money. It's been the same in Washington for years and will continue to be that way for a long time. Keep dreaming folks.

    • Posted By: notroubleatall1963 @ 06/04/2008 7:58:48 PM

Comment: All the major oil companies are investing in new technologies, such as fuel cells, biofuels and the use of alternate fuels - but they could invest more. Ultimately, we should not be spending our precious government budget on a useless war that didn't result in securing the Iraqi oil for anyone yet - we should be spending some billions on spurring research and dvelopment for alternate fuels and resources to allow us to conserve the remaining oil we've got in the world before it's too late.

Aren't any of you familiar with the philosophy "KEEP YOUR ENEMIES CLOSE TO YOU" ? Keeping open relations with enemies of the US is a great way to study them and look like we care.
The US has so many enemies because our government and leaders run roughshod over everybody who stands in their way.

      2) I am sure you were okay with Clinton bombing Iraq while he was being investigated for perjury

      3) I am also sure that you believe Barack Obama can be preached to by Jeremiah Wright for 20 years and yet have no effect on his personal life

      4) Did you forget who actually started this whole war on terror??

      5) We are not being racist toward Obama, we are simply questioning his experience....after all, he claimed he visited 57 states with 1 to go. Don't believe me? Go to youtube.com and look it up, it was at a campaign stop in Oregon.

        3. I am sure glad no one holds me accountable for what my clergy has said. Who's your minister I would like to send him/her an e-mail - not teaching you very well.

        4. Iraq - GWBush (unilateral and it is nation building), Afghanistan (Taliban and GW's Texas house guest the Bin ladens).

        5. If you forgive that I will forgive Sen. McCain Shia, Shite problem - Lieberman had to whisper to correct.
        him.

One should not forget it was Sen. Obama who said months before Jan 08, that we should go into Pakistan and bomb unilaterally Al-Qaeda. Sen. McCain protested loudly and President Bush authorized. Result dead 2nd in command.

The United States has always had a multilateral approach and we have always negotiated with our so-called "enemies" to some degree. Bush Jr. is the first president who has departed from this philosophy in recent history and it's a strategy that hasn't worked.

Comment: trooper101st Your diagnosis is correct - the preeminent threat to the US today is from Pakistan, and the Bush administration policy to deal with it has been counterproductive - or as GAO reported - nonexistent
though technically the threat is from FATA more than the neighboring NWFP. YOur cure is not so good - as an apparent military guy should study your COIN Field Manual - bombing is secondary to political means.
But even given your cure, it is Obama has already apparently has already changed US policy when he announced that he would pursue targets across ithe border if Pakistan would not. Though he was demagogued at the time, the CIA shortly after started sending predators accross the border. Not only this but Obam sent a letter to Bush detailing the lack of action on this same issue, and sounding the same alarm you do, in mid-2007. So if you would check out Obama - simply by going to his Senate website - you would see that he is the one candidate who has thought ab out this issue, and cares about it as much as you do. You don't have to wait to see where is heart and head is - contrary to the MSM propaganda that he is nothing more than ampty rhetoric. Just the opposite this country is extremely fortunate to have someone who will have the competence to the White House for the first time in nearly three decades.

After last night....I can't stop smiling.

Comment: Woah Augustmando! That is a very racist comment to make. You need to relax a little bit. Michelle Obama being "racist" is not grounded in fact - at all. Oh, and last time I checked Barak is the one running for office.
By the way, it's very annoying when people write in all caps. I get it - you're angry.

Comment: AND WHY NOT OBAMA RECRUITING CONDOLEEZA RICE AND COLIN POWELL.....I DON'T SEE ANY REASON WHY THEY WILL REFUSE "FOR THE GOOD OF THE CPUNTRY". THOSE ARE FORMIDABLE PEOPLE TO BE WITH TEAM OBAMA. AND BLACK AT THAT...LET'S FACE IT , ANYBODY WILL BE MORE COMFORTABLE WITH HIS/HER OWN SKIN...LITERALLY SPEAKING... ASK MICHELLE...

Comment: After listening to Hillary Rodham Clinton's speech to the AIPAC early this morning, well it was early for me, LOL! I believe that Sen. Clinton would make a much better Secretary of State than a VP, a position the pundits claim she is over qualified for because she would be unhappy not having that much to do. ITA, Hillary is sharper than that and worth more to our country than that. She has earned a better place in Obama's Cabinet. Besides all of the debates she has won, her revealing interview with Bill O'Reilly, and now her magnificent speech to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, Sen. Clinton has convinced me that she is too good, and too important to our country's state of affairs to be a mere VP. Under the Constitution, the President of the United States determines U.S. foreign policy, but The Secretary of State, appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate, is the President???s chief foreign affairs adviser. The Secretary carries out the President???s foreign policies through the State Department and the Foreign Service of the United States, a position, for which I believe Hillary has show she is legitimately and immensely qualified.

Comment: Its great to talk. Do you think ANY progress can be gained by talking to people who are committed to our destruction? If Obama has the guts, he will let US forces bomb those 30 plus camps in the NWFP's to dust. The P-stani's have ceded these lands to the t-ban/AQ, and have given up claim to them. I see a hostile gov. across the border, so we should smash it, tell the p-stani's, who HATE us, stay outta the way. This is where they plan these attacks, and the next one may be a WMD attack. We will see where Obama heart and head is soon enough.

Comment: Not having top level communication does not mean there isn't dialog. Thats an Obamination tactic.

His list of fringe advisors are nothing impressive either. Following professors, who have no limits on reality and have never had to answer for failed policy they advocate, just looks cute. When you get democrats advising business and banking there is going to be a catastrophy as we saw after Clintons tenure, enron just tops my list of crooks the dems prospered under. No business can have huge tax burdens extracted from it unless there are perks for those who agree with it. That won't harm the employees immediately but when they go to retire or collect from company subsidized health plans they will find the emptyness they did after Clintons great economic plan was passed on to the republicans to suffer with.

As far as global warming, the US should leave non democratic countries to fend for themselves. Let nature thin the herd. It is not part of any strategy to feed a runaway breeding problem in lands that never did support high population densities. Educating and arming them has been the biggest mistake in every country the US has tried to "civilize". I can't think of a single country that is stable and thriving that was considered unsettled a hundred years ago where the gift of food and education has been given. They are however great for outsourcing jobs, evading taxes and buying arms, what a productive world.

And Obama is going to waive his hand and change all of it. I can hardly stockpile food, water and ammo fast enough.

Comment: Condi Rice is a professor - she will return to Academia (no, that's not a place, it's a field! hahaha) after Bush leaves office (ohmygoodness, itwillnotbesoonehuff)....

Cheers - dumb posting, if you don't mind my saying.

Comment: The key to your statement is that the Enron catastrophy happened AFTER Bill Clinton's tenure.

      • Posted By: harley4800 @ 06/04/2008 5:19:14 PM

Comment: As if the Enron collapse had not been in the works before Clinton left office, shut up & give me a break. You are choosing to believe what you want...they were cooking the books while Clintion was in office and then they crashed after GW was elected. Why don't you try being objective for once Radical Dave...how fitting.

SAME HERE. A very wise parent taught me one thing.... Complacency begets SOCIALISM and Socialism begets COMMUNISM. This was drilled in my head from my father 55 years ago......I'm on a weekly delivery plan.....

        • Posted By: raddave @ 06/04/2008 12:21:49 PM

Comment: I hate to disagree with your wise parent. Socialism does not beget communism. Three of the biggest communist countries in history, Russia, China and Cuba were not socialist. Russia and China were Imperialist countries and Cuba was capitalistic countries who became communist by revolution. On the other hand, countries such as Germany, France and the Netherlands have socialistic policies for years and have not become communist countries. And the citizens of those countries have as much if not more personal freedoms than we enjoy here in our own country.

  • Posted By: goodbyetoallthat @ 06/04/2008 1:08:24 AM

Comment: A TV forum to advise the next president, which included Colin Powell, Henry Kissinger, Madeline Albright, James Baker and others, was very enlightening indeed. Powell thought it good to talk to foreign heads of state, including friends and foes, He especially encouraged listening to what they have to say. Albright emphasized being the leader in the battle against Global Warming. It's a pbs series.

Comment: "Concerned Canadian" is a guy aka "Holy Roller" or I'll eat my hat!!! He 'graces' these message boards with all the same fiery rhetoric of the now-famous pastor, albeit much less intelligently. He's a joke, a laugh and a total freak. Ignore his stuff, it hardly merits comment! He keeps insisting Obama is not a Christian, and that God doesn't allow non-Christians in the White House either... "It is written"... looney tunes.
